I really like how this story is developing. You never fail to surprise me either Sid. I think akane will be much better off becomming a Chinese citizen officially. Maybe Ranma could consider the same, if he were to feel strongly enough for akane.

as to your having difficulties with this chapter due to a family crisys, deal with the family first and formost Sid. Thats the most important thing in your world. Much more important than me, and I am sure that Scorpianiac would feel the same.

An interesting beginning, though I am tempted to beat the tar out of Soun. Akane might have mentioned that she and Ranma are in the same class, and requested permission to at least speak with him once to explain to him what's going on, and assure him that their fathers are, again, morons. Well, until chapter 3, then. Laters.

Good start to the story so far. I can only imagine what Akane must be feeling right now.

Mousse, on the other hand, I DO know from first hand experience what he went through. NEVER again will I let that happen to me! (been off drugs for almost a year now)

I have to say that I am shocked by Cologne's and Shampoo's arrogance. It was her doing the two f them a favor that led to this situation. Is it that they just cannot bring themselves to see that connection?

Personally, I am relieved at the honor and caring that Mousse is showing. Certainly, it is more than Akane's own family are showing. I could picture Kasumi eventually defying her own father on this matter, as well as Nabiki.

Another excellent chapter, and I was quite surprised to see the second chapter posted so quickly.
