I agree with the last post that things in the beginning were a bit rushed, but I like the feel your characters have and it feels authentic.

Interesting. Not the first story I've read like this. Please don't make the same mistake others have made, give the other girls (i.e. Shampoo, Ukyo, Kodachi, Nabiki and Kasumi) the same treatment; essentially, show the 'pros' as well as the cons and not just the cons.
The bit with Akane admitting her 'love' for Ranma, however, comes out of nowhere. In canon, it's quite obvious that Akane is adamant that _Ranma_ admit his feelings for her before she'll even contemplate reciprocating. Still, I suppose it serves as a means to get Ranma to begin looking at his various relationships in a serious manner.

So noted. I will try to avoid said mistakes. And yes I know the declaration of love is wholly uncharacteristic and as you said, canon breaking even. However, I felt that eventually some kind of breaking point would be hit and I did my best to create one.
