This looks promising, the story is well written and everyone's in character. I especially liked how you wrote Zel, how he's trying to come to terms that his condition is permanent. There's only one mistake I noticed - you misspelled Zel's name, it's Zelgadis not Zelgadas. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
