I really enjoyed reading this. I was intrigued by this trio since the history behind them is just too much to ignore. Lots of this was written really well, but I especially loved the part about how Francis' eyes changed that way only for two people in all of history. *waves FrUK and FranceXJeanne flags*
You wrote how I imagine Scotland to be really well, too. You didn't have to explain all of his twisted reactions for me to understand the motivations there, it still came across, which was lovely.
(I actually wish things had been a little more descriptive during that part. >>; )
