I just got through reading this amazing story. It made me laugh, smile, angry, cry, and think. You are an amazing story teller and had me hooked at chapter 1. I'm going to have to see what else you have written because if any more of it is like this, then I can't wait. Thank you for writing and sharing. Excellent work! I thoroughly enjoyed it; as an avid Black Butler fan, I found this to be a fresh take. My thanks to the author. My husband would thank you as well due to his reaping the benefits over the three nights I read it.

Saved my review for the end. I LOVED this fic. I liked how you made Sebastian more complicated than he appeared in the anime. I liked how cheesy it was in some aspects and dramatic in others. I'm a sucker for cheesy ending so I definitely loved how Gilda and Sebastian (or Alex) were together in the end. 100/100 A+

I am very sorry you felt your story was not read or enjoyed much. I think it probably has been, much more than you imagine. The plot was interesting and the ending was surprising, but it made me happy to know that Gilda and her demon could still be together... and that Ciel finally found a place to be at peace. I really enjoyed reading this. I think your writing is of a much higher caliber than much floating around cyberspace. So nice to read something without spelling errors and incorrect use of vocabulary! ( I was especially glad to see that Gilda was the demon's PREY, and not PRAY ;-)

I would like to thank you for this wonderful piece of lyrically written gold. It is THE best Kuroshitsuji fanfiction I have read so far. though I, myself, am not one to read first-person stories and enjoy them, this story grabbed me right from the beginning. The main reason being that is is FANTASTICALLY written in the voice of Sebastian, and what i feel to be so very close the the actual voice of the character that i could hear him in my head. it felt like i was walking in his shoes throughout the entire story, and that made it spectacularly great. Tragic though it became throughout the middle, I just could not walk away from a single chapter. I just started this story yesterday, and it was begging to be finished soon or I would die from curiosity as to the fates of the lovely Gilda (who i also hold my hat out to. she is one of the few female OCs that i actually LIKE. and believe me, that is saying something) and the ever so wonderful Alexander (good choice of a name change, if i say so myself.) this story will be ingrained in my memories for a long time. i thank you for the hours of enjoyment. Truly, it was a bewitching tale. *grand applause*

I just started with this anime a few days ago at the behest of my little brother and his boyfriend and then started looking for fanfiction *grin* I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your fic and hope you do a few oneshots after this. If it wasn't off someone elses property i'd say publish the sucker. you have a gift truely. My partner and I are both writers altho i do mainly fan fictions and my partner does origional sci fi and some gothic horror. I truely loved reading your work and stayed up all night reading it. Please don't be discouraged by luke warm responces If writing makes you happy then write. screw the haters and luke warm responces do what makes you happy.

I remembered seeing this on ff.net but haven't had a chance to read it in its entirety. I adore this piece! You wrote Sebastian/Alexander very well and I really enjoyed his character to the fullest. I also loved how it was in first person, which for his particular character either aren't done well or just not attempted. I also LOVED Hilda, even when she was being a pain for Alex.
Overall this piece is fantastic and I am so glad to have read it!

Wow, it's over. Somehow I kept thinking it would last longer, which is silly since I knew it was coming up to the end. It took me a while to figure who the mysterious duo was. I kept thinking it was Ciel and Alois, which I knew made no sense, so when I finally figured out it was Ciel and William I was blown away. I simply couldn't figure out what they were up to, just bonding over watching Sebastian up to his old tricks never occured to me. I did think that Ciel would eventually get eaten, thus fufilling his part of the bargain with Sebastian and leaving Sebastian free to not eat Gilda, but I wasn't sure how they would do that. I like the way you did that so now Sebasstian and Gilda can be together without her dying eventually. I'm a bit sorry about Ciel, even though it was what he wanted, but now he really is gone, save for fueling Sebastian, and when that's done there really will benothing left. Maybe Will will miss him a bit now that he no longer has anyone to watch "As the Demon Churns" with anymore. On the other hand, I have my own theroies about souls and what happens to them, so that makes me feel better. So, I loved the story, thanks for sharing and I hope you will write more.
