I love this story! I think its cool how America withdraws from everything and suddenly starts paying back debts and giving for others to pay off their's and then some! But I am curious to see if it is war or if its something else that he has up his sleeve

This is really good. I'm gonna have to go pop in on your ff account and shuffle through your notes. They don't seem absolutely necessary in the sense that this is unreadable without them, but I feel like the extra bit of info will really add even more demention than is already here. Japan talking with an accent at all times threw me off though; why would his accent imply he's speaking a different language when he's in his own country, engaging his own people? Wouldn't they be speaking Japanese?

A well written and well thought out piece so far. Although I have not watched Hetalia all the way through yet (Working on it, but it gets a little overwhelming at times....Hilarious at others) I am pretty well versed in recent or modern history and politics and you've captured a great snapshot of international relations. You also raised a valid point that America doesn't /seem/ (not sure on this point) to receive /disaster/ aid from other nations. To be fair, after Sept. 11, 2001, though I personally saw no aid from other countries, I believe the UK and France sent specialists and specialized machinery to aid in excavation of Ground Zero. And of course, Canadians actually allowed stranded travelers /into their homes/ when all flights were grounded so they wouldn't have to spend the night in a cramped terminal. These things are not the usual kinds of 'aid' one might expect at such a juncture but they were, I'm sure, helpful. The least public of all the 'aid' was intelligences and evidences given by (possibly) the UK. Much of the local 'relief' aid was given by fire companies (or ladders) and law enforcement groups from around the country that went, leaving their own towns behind, to stay in NYC and help at Ground Zero. I read of one example where Wisconsin fire and law officers cooked for those who were digging. People keep saying that the destruction was in a small area and that the US can afford to rebuild so aid wasn't needed. To me that was kind of like saying "you're rich, go screw yourself." And lest we forget, some of those in the towers were citizens of other nations. One would think they would care. It was called the WORLD trade center for a reason. I know I'm probably ranting, forgive me. About half way through typing this I thought of deleting it all, but I'm leaving it so that you can see how your story sparked my mind AND you might find something in there to take as fodder for the next chapter. The one last thing that I don't think a lot of people understand (especially those from other countries) is that though not everyone knew someone affected by the 9-11 attacks, not everyone knew a victim, not everyone lives on the east coast, despite that, it affected nearly every single American old enough to understand the events taking place. Just watching the footage on TV was enough to send some people into panic attacks. And, while some say that phenomena was just Americans acting like children, I vehemently defend the right of those citizens to feel anguish over the loss of 2 symbols of America, an assault on the Pentagon, and the loss of 4 planes. 11 years after 9-11, there are still people who cannot watch the footage taken on that day, my mother included. (Though Mom didn't know him, and I barely met him, one of my brother's friends was on Flight 175, but that's a story for another rant....) In closing, I found the composition readable but highly intelligent and the content, though controversial, well explored. You keep the drama high while still allowing for all the politics and that, my friend, is skill.

I personally thot that was great so far. There are things in american past and our relations with other nations that need to be looked at closer. I cant wait for the next chapter. Oh and it made me cry by the way.
