Always good to see more Kid fics here!
I think he is the most interesting of the characters, mainly because he is sort of insane and the son of a death god.
The badass dual-wielding of pistols that are a pair of attractive sisters may also have something to do with this.
I am glad you hit the mark on these characters; when I went in a Death the Kid binge, there were quite a few authors who couldn't/wouldn't write crazy.
Anyway, I like what is being set up here and desire more.
As a sidenote: I can't recall this being addressed in canon or fanfic, but what does a weapon feel in it's form?
Probably can't be much of anything, or I would have seen it as fluff somewhere... if they can sense touch, all the handling the guns receive sounds rather intimate.
