overall, an excellent beginning, but one minor comment. Ares is the Greek god of war, whereas Hephaestus is the Greek god of fire. Other than that, it was an excellent first chapter

This story is looking pretty good. Hopefully you will update more, because I see a lot of potential. I have a question though: Are all of Sky's pokemon going to be dogs or dog-like?

I like the potential this story has. My only concern is that it looked like more conversations than descriptions. You seemed to gloss over some stuff you could have really elaborated on to draw in the reader. Nevertheless, I look forward to more. Perhaps you could take a look at my pokefic (A New Beginning). I'm not shamelessly promoting myself, but every style of writing is different and everybody can try and implement ideas from other authors to improve themselves. The choice is yours, so don't feel pressured. I look forward to other chapters you have in store.
