Well, mabe a point of view camera that allow other pokemon to live the battle like the pokemon fighting did and it makes them understand weaknesses, what to do in wich situation, etc. Also, Zinnia is a dirty little voyeur.

Very fun story to read. Love the romance between Merry and Jinx and really like how you have the other Pokemon learning about love / sex. Should be really interesting to see how they all act as they mature and after Merry has her kits.

Something tells me that Jerry's mother knows about Jinx's relationship with Merry. But that aside I'm glad Jinx isn't left behind.

Good chapter. Made some good progress with the characters and officially got Merry started on her Pokemon journey!
I really like the scene where Merry's Mom gave Jinx to her, that was a nice scene.
Very nice detail with the part where Merry had to sign the legal papers, never actually seen that in a pokemon fic before. Makes a lot of sense actually, kinda surprised I've never thought of that till now, lol.
Love the bit where Merry hit Brendon in the head with the Pokeball, particularly the part where he remarked that that had been the third time that month that had happened. I used to think that he just had white hair.
Really like how you show what the Pokemon are saying. I think it really helps to get a feel for their personalities and natures. It's also fun to see what their actually saying to each other.
Okay, I got an OC for you. I came up with him for a Pokemon story idea of my own but haven't gotten around to yet.
Name:Jack Condit
Age:17-18
Appearance:A lean and fit young man with dark hair of slightly above-average height with a scared, ruined left eye. Usual outfit consists of a dark green hoodie, an undershirt, and black traveling pants & sneakers.
Description:A skilled martial artist and Pokemon Trainer traveling on his journey. Something of a loner, Condit tends to keep to himself on his travels and is rarely seen smiling, but contrary to his somewhat intimidating appearance and bearing, is actually a kind and friendly individual who likes to help people where he can. Enjoys competition, whether it be in combat or in Pokemon battles. Possesses killer like instinct in battle, however, he has a bad tendency to second guess and doubt himself due to a incident from his past.
When he was younger, just before he was about to start his Pokemon journey, he heard news that a violent Scyther had been sighted near his hometown, far from it's normal habitats. Impatient, full of confidence, and desperate to prove himself, Condit took one of his parents Pokemon before leaving his town in search of the Mantis Pokemon, intending to capture it. Shockingly, he succeeded, but at the cost of his left eye , several deep cuts, and the near death of his family's Pokemon.
The incident left his relationship with his friends and family, particularly his father, deeply shaken, and scared Condit in more ways than one. However, he desperately held onto the Pokeball that held his starter, the Scyther he'd lost an eye to obtain, (which his parents and officials were intent on taking from him for obvious safety reasons) and after a lengthy healing process, started on his Pokemon journy, having matured greatly from the incident.

Dare - Zubat Male, Nature - Relaxed
Ahri - Vulpix Female, Nature - Eager
Armor - Sandshrew Male, Nature - Calm

Gemlight - Staryu Gendeless, Nature - Hasty
So that's my OC. Do what you will with him. Sorry if I went overboard with the details, let me know if I did. I have a few other OC's I can suggest, with varying levels of detail and back story, if you want them.

Interesting start. I like what you've done with the characters so far, hope to see a bit more of Brendon later on and am curious to see your take on the friend/rival character.
The action between Merry and Jinx has been pretty entertaining so far (like the knotting detail and how possessive Jinx is of Merry) and I must admit I was surprised to see that Merry's already pregnant. But I like this, I haven't seen too many pokemon fics where inter-species breeding was possible, and it definitely makes things interesting.

Wow... first chapter of the story and already the main ( female ) character is pregnant, I rarely see that happening in a pokemon AFF.
here's the thing though most pokephilia stories I've read have the same trend that pins the Hoenn region as the biggest Anti-pokephilia population as well as laws against it.
My question is will you're story follow the same trend? If no then that's cool, if yes then... I guess what better reason for Meredith to start her pokemon journey immediately lol X-D
