“Some Things Are Not to be Disturbed”
Another Hikaru No Go fic by “Gilderoy_Gildy_Lockhart”.
Notes:
After writing three HikaGo yaoi fanfic continuously, I decided to write something else based on HikaGo. I’m not sure if this is yaoi or not, but it’s still NC-17 rated anyway. Oh, this fic is stand alone and not to be related to any of my other works.
“OOIII !!! SHINDOU !!!!”.
“Eh ?..” Hikaru Shindou turned around to see the person who was shouting his name. It turned out to be one of his schoolmates, Mitani. “Eh ? Mitani-kun ?”.
Mitani finally catches up with Hikaru. He gasped for breath as he just ran across few blocks to chase the boy with bleached bangs. “Shindou… did you read the newspaper today ?”.
“Newspaper ?... err… I never read that” Hikaru sweatdropped and scratched the back of his head.
“Baka… Here !” Mitani shoved today newspaper into Hikaru’s hand.
Hikaru blinked for few seconds. “Eh… What should I do with it ?”.
“Fold it into a paper airplane…. Of course, READ IT !” Mitani flustered.
“Okay okay okay ! Sheesh….” Hikaru shrugged then read the newspaper front page. “….. NANI !?!? TOUYA DISSAPEARED ?!?!” His eyes bulged as he read it.
“Yes… he was last seen on the park near his house…”. Mitani noticed that Hikaru’s legs were trembling. He guided his friend into a nearby café and ordered a sup of strong coffee to calm Hikaru down.
Hikaru was still shocked. He looked like as if lost in his own thought. “M… Mitani…. D.. Do you know where that park is ?” He asked.
“Uh… no… You’re not planning to go there and play a little detective game aren’t you, Shindou ?” Mitani looked at Hikaru curiously. Behind the curious face of Mitani was a pure concern.
Hikaru shakes his head quickly and drank down his cup of coffee, sighing slightly “No… Well… I’m going home now.. Ja ne”. He pulled himself up from the chair and accidentally brushed the cup of coffee, spilling its content into the table. “AH ! Gomen !!” Hikaru wiped the coffee quickly with a paper towel. His hands were shaking and unsteady. Suddenly another hand rested on Hikaru’s hand .“Shindou… Go home… I’m sure nothing happened to your rival, he’s probably upset with his dad again” Mitani smiled and took cleaned the coffee spill.
“T..Thanks Mitani…” Slowly, Hikaru turned around and went out from that coffee shop. However he did not go to his home. His mind was extremely uneasy. The prospect of losing a precious rival and a dear friend was not the best prospect at all. After few minutes of walking, he arrived at the point of no return. The road branched into two smaller roads (Reader, choose Hikaru’s destiny….). (1) Should he took the path to the right, he would be on the road toward the park where Touya disappeared. (2) Should he took the path to the left, he would reach his home.
“… He’s probably upset with his dad again….” Hikaru recited what Mitani had said earlier as he looked at the path on his left. “Then again… he might need someone to talk to…” Hikaru sighed as he looked at the path on his right. “W. what should I do ?... It’s already dark !” He shouted to himself. He was aware that it wasn’t safe to wander around in the nighttime, especially for sixteen years old boy like him.
After thinking over and against the two choices he had, Hikaru made up his mind…..
