The Suguroku Hotel. An ordinary hotel on the coast of
Higashi, popular as a coastal resort. Little did anyone know, that with the
arrival of the Rave Master and his friends, the hotel would become popular for
an entirely different reason.
Griffon Kato peeked over the corner. The corridor where
everyone had rented their rooms was empty. He shuffled down towards a door, and
checking around again, extracted a key from somewhere, and entered the room.
Once inside, he started sniggering. So far so good. Elie was
out exploring the place with Haru and Plue, and would be gone long enough to
get everything installed.
He reached outside the door, and pulled in a box. He carried
this into the small bathroom. Opening the lid, he got out a tiny camera, the
type usually seen in Internet pop-up ads. This had a long cable attached. Using
his stretching arms, he fixed the camera to a high corner of the room, out of
sight and pointing toward the bath and shower.

On the floor below, in the hotel’s leisure room, Musica
looked up at the roof. He could swear he could hear a drill or something….
“You going to shoot sometime this century Silver Rhythm?”
Shuda spoke. The raireaired man tapped his foot and dusted up his pool cue as
he waited for Musica. Nearby, Go and Rosa were watching a large TV, while Ruby
was engrossed in his magic books. The rest of Musica’s crew were playing cards.
Musica hunkered down and struck the white ball, bouncing it off three cushions
before it hit a yellow ball into a corner pocket.
“Beat that.”
Shuda said nothing, just smiledt cut cunning smile of his.
He struck the ball, and Musica watched in stunned silence as the ball
ricocheted around the table, before knocking two red balls in. He glared at
Shuda’s grinning face.
“Lucky shot!”
“Too easy really.” Shuda yawned. “If I’d known things were
going to get this boring. I would have never joined you guys.”
“Hey, don’t knock boring. Boring can be good. When you’ve
just survived an attack from Deep Snow and his entire army, boring is uttelissliss.”
“For you maybe. I just want to get out of here and find that
last Rave piece. We leave tonight, right?”
“Ruby got us supplies, so…”
“Hey guys!” Go called. “Listen to this!” He pointed to the
TV. Everyone crowded around the TV, where a weather report was being broadcast.
“….. the pandemonium out here is terrible Sandy! Hurricane
Sadako is causing havoc all over the Higashia. Sa. Sudden rainfalls are
flooding towns, and strong winds are battering everything. The Empire has
issued instructions that all ships and aircraft are not to attempt to travel
until the storm subsides.”
Ruby watched the storm on the TV, then looked at the
darkening clouds. “Poyo. Looks like we’re not going anywhere for a while.”
The others groaned. “Another night with you morons. Oh joy.”
Shuda sighed.
“Shouldn’t someone find Haru and Elie and tell them?” Rosa
spoke.
Musica looked out at the clouds, and could see slight rain
falling. An evil grin came to his face.
“Nah. They’ll figure it out.”
“Come on Haru-maki!” Elie calledon’ton’t be such a
slowpoke!” She increased her walking speed to get up the hill in front of her.
“Yeah, sure. Like you and Griff were doing when I was at
that hot spring! Don’t deny it, I have a witness!” As if on cue, Plue appeared
at her feet.
She crossed her arms, and glared at the Rave Master. Haru
sighed. It was nearly impossible to win an argument with Elie, but he had to
try.
“I did not peep on you back then, and I have no intention of
peeping on you now.”
“Really?”
“Really. I’m not trying to see your boobs.” He tilted his
head upward.
Elie blinked. “Well, you seem sincere…”
Haru was wondering why the clouds had darkened all of a
sudden, when from nowhere, a massive hail of rain hit them. Gallons of water
poured from the heavens and soaked the three instantly.
A dripping wet Haru felt a cold wind blow in. “Come on Elie,
lets get….”
All thought stopped in his head when he caught sight of
Elie. Her wet tank-top had turned transparent, allowing a perfect view of her
breasts.
“PERVERT!” She whacked him on the head, then ran back to the
hotel.
Haru sighed. He didn’t want to stare at her like that, and
make her uncomfortable. But how cohe rhe resist looking at such perfection….
“Man, what a downpour.” Go commented as he and the others
watched the rain batter the window. “I should have come here to film my movie.
Would have saved me a fortune.”
“I hope my casino’s alright, poyo.” Ruby said. “I hate to
think this storm has sunk it.”
“Hope Haru and Elie are okay.” Musica said to himself.
At that moment, Elie burst into the room, water trag
bg
behind her. “Good grief, did you see that storm come in? Look at me! I’m
totally drenched.”
The eyes of every male in the room focused on Elie, and
suddenly went all glassy.
“What?” Elie demanded, confused at the gaping stares. Rosa
entered.
“Hi Elie… whoa! Attack of the mammeries.”
Elie looked down, and shrieked when she realised her top was
still transparent, and her assets were on view for all to see.
She glared angrily at the men. A white haze began to appear
around her…
“ETHERION! HIT THE DECK!” Musica screamed. They all jumped
for cover behind the couch or under the pool table.
The white light faded, and Elie grinned slightly. “I’m gonna
take a shower.” She left the room and went upstairs.
Haru and Plue entered, and looked at the cowering men. “You
guys playing hide and seek?”
They all got up, looking a bit ashamed. “You should talk to
your girlfriend about her temper, Glory.” Shuda said.
“She’s not my…” Haru started, but stopped knowing they
wouldn’t believe him. He walked over to the wall where all the weapons had been
placed, and grabbed the Eisonmeteor. “I’m gonna go train outside. The rain will
toughen me up.”
He left and walked out into the storm. The wind wasn’t
blowing too hard, but it felt like a massive wall pushing against his chest.
It felt a bit like the problem weighing on his chest.
As he swung and thrust the sword in his usual katas, his
mind drifted to Elie. True, she wasn’t his girlfriend. But if she was… she was
such a great companion. Kind, funny, and showed just as much care and respect
around him as his sister did. The fact that she had a killer body only helped
things.
“I do love her…. I just wish I could show her.” He
thought. “After today, she probably thinks I’m some kind of mystery peeper.”
Just outside Elie’s room, Griff had drilled a small hole,
and pulled the remainder of the camera’s cable through it. The rest had been
hidden under the room’s carpet.
Dropping the drill into his box, he nipped back into the
room, and shoved the dresser back against the wall.
At that moment, Elie came in, her eyes widening at the sight
of Griff with his hands on her dresser drawers.
“GRIFF! What the hell are you doing?!!”
“Elie!” Griff temporarily turned white. “Er… I can
explain….”
“You’re trying to steal my panties, aren’t you? GET OUT!”
Griff made a beeline for the door before Elie could find her
guns. He ran down the corridor, but stopped and hung around the end, eyes on
Elie’s room. It was slightly ajar, and he could just hear her. He waited a few
minutes, and was relieved when nothing happened.
“Phew, she hasn’t found it.” He silently moved back to
his box, and grabbed the cable.
“Now to hook this up downstairs. Operation Elie Cam is
go!”
Elie was still fuming as she flung off her wet clothes and
threw them in the corner. The nerve of those guys! Ogling her when she was
exposed. And they didn’t even apologise for it.
Her rage fanned down a bit. After all, she was guilty of the
same crime. Being in a gang of rather well built warriors, she couldn’t help
but take discreet looks whenever they took their shirts off. She wasn’t sure
what Rosa saw in Go, but Shuda and Musica….. she mentally drooled. And Haru…
while more sinuous than the others, still had that seductive quality… even if
he did contradict it with his juvenile attitude. But that was Elie liked about
him. He wasn’t trying to be a playboy, or those macho types she hated. He was
just… Haru. Even if he was a peeper.
“Why does he have to spy on me like some letch?” She
thought. She faced a tall mirror and stared at herself. Her hands ran gently
down her body.
“I guess he’s just sizing me up. He must have someone
better in mind.” She thought sadly. “He watches because he has someone
better.”
She plodded into the bathroom, stooping to turn on a ghetto
blaster she had bought recently. Her J-Pop CD started playing, and she sung
with the words.
She entered the shower, turned on the taps, and sung while
the warm water soothed her.
A very wet Haru walked in, his sodden boots making squishing
noises on the carpet. The desk manager gave him a disapproving look, and he
smiled weakly.
Walking past the leisure room, he could see the others had
left for the bar, save Griff, who seemed to be fiddling with the TV.
He moved to his room, his mind bending around the problem of
how to apologise to Elie. A reasonable argument in which Haru explained that
he’d caught sight of her by accident might work. Then again, Elie was totally
unpredictable.
He took off his clothes and wrapped a towel around his
waist. He headed for his shower, and twisted the tap.
Nothing. He turned it some more, then hit the pipes with his
fist. A brown gunk dripped out the tap.
“Great!” He thought in disgust. “I get the one
crappy shower. I’d better see if I can use one of the others.”
He stepped out of the room, and glanced down the corridor.
He could see a door slightly ajar, and the sound of a running shower inside.
“Hello!” He called. He got no answer “Hello? Anyone in
there?”
Inside, Elie could hear nothing but the stream of the shower
and her music as she rinsed soap off her body.
Haru tried to recall whose room this was. “Is this Go or
Musica’s room? Figures those guys would forget to leave the water on.”
He stepped inside, walking toward the bathroom. As he got
closer, he could hear a piece of music trailing off as it finished.
Inside the bathroom, Elie stepped away from the water
stream, grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her. She was about to draw the
curtain back so she could exit and turn the water off…
Haru flung the curtain open, and was met with the sight of a
girl clad in a very small towel. She shrieked, and jumped back against the
shower wall.
Haru gasped. “Elie-chan!
“HARU!!” She yelled. Her anger from previously was rising
again. “What the hell are you doing you pervert?! Can’t I take a shower without
you leering at me?”
“I didn’t know you were there…”
“Right, sure!” She shook with anger. Why the hell couldn’t
he just leave her alone? Couldn’t he just get a girlfriend to look at instead?
“I’m sick of this! If it’s not Griff, it’s you who always
keeps looking at me weird!”
Haru was about to respond, but Elie was way too angry to let
him speak. “Well, fine Glory! You want to get off on your perverted kicks,
here’s your chance!”
And she flung the towel away. Haru’s eyes temporally bugged
out of his head.
Elie could feel herself blushing but she fought to contain
it. She had to show Haru she wouldn’t stand for anymore of this.
“Go on! Take a good look, cause it’s the last one you’ll
ever….”
She stopped when she saw Haru’s face. There was no lecherous
drool, no surprised expression. His face had a slight blush… but his eyes
expressed awe, and curiosity, as if he’d never seen anyone like her before. He
looked into her eyes.
“Elie-chan….” He breathed out. “You’re so beautiful.”
She gasped. Her brain tried to comprehend the words she had
just heard… but it couldn’t for it had never heard them in that manner.
“Beautiful……”
In the bar adjoining the leisure room…
Ruby stared blearily out of the window, apparently entranced
by the blustering storm. “Poyo. Those ladies must be crazy to dance out in this
storm.”
“Er.. what ladies?” Musica asked.
“Those ladies in the grass skirts. They’re out there dancing
the hula dance in the rain, poyo.”
Musica peered closer. “Those are bushes and trees being
blown in the wind.”
Ruby blinked. “Really, poyo?” He looked at the glass of
liquid he was holding. “Boy, these really are the strongest tequila slammers in
Higashi, poyo.”
“Okaaay… no more booze for Ruby.”
Musica glanced around the bar. He could see the others
enjoying themselves, but no Griff. He spotted the blob messing around with the
back of the silent TV.
“Griff, what the hell are you doing?”
“Er…. Just trying to get the TV working.”
“Forget it. It won’t work in this storm.”
“I can do it. Really!” Griff replied sharply.
Musica sighed. “Fine. But if you break it, you’re paying for
it, not Ruby.”
Griff returned to the TV, turning the screen away slightly
from the bar. He connected the last wire…. The screen sprung to life.
His eyes shot open when on the screen, Elie appeared,
buck-naked. She was partially obscured by the shower curtain, but still… A nosebleed
swiftly followed.
Then he realised Haru was there as well, clad in only a
towel. He could see them talking to each other, but the camera had no audio…
Haru wanted to breathe, to gasp, but he couldn’t. All
function in his body had ceased. He could only stand there, stunned at the
sight of Elie’s naked form. Months ago, he couldn’t have cared less about the
female form… but now….
She was the most beautiful thing…. Person he had ever seen.
Her skin was so pale to almost be white, but with a slight
rosy tint from her shower. Only a few tiny scars on her thighs and arms showed
the battles she had been in. His eyes took in her small feet, trailing up her
silky legs to her thighs and the wide curve of her hips. From there, her curves
gently dipped inwards at her tiny waist, before flowing out again at her full
bust. Her arms were thin and slender, her shoulders leading to a curved, tall
neck.
Her delicate face was framed by her damp hair, hanging in
damp strands along the sides. Her eyes… those deep golden pools… they stared
back at him with fierce intensity, yet he could see the innocence and joy they
always carried.
“Beautiful.” He repeated softly as he got his breath back.
Suddenly he remembered what was happening. He’d caught Elie
unawares yet again, and was now just staring at her like a fool. And he had
commented on her beauty… He hadn’t meant to say it, but seeing her… his
feelings had acted of their own accord.
He blushed crimson and rubbed the back of his head.
“Ah geez. I’m sorry Elie. I’ll get out of your hair….”
He stopped when he realised she wasn’t trying to attack him
as had happened before. She was looking at him with the most confused and
frightened eyes he’d ever seen, and she was shivering. He began to worry. He
didn’t like it if something was bothering her. Like his presence here.
font-family:Arial'>
Griff thumped the side of the TV, trying to see if he could
get a better picture. The thrill of seeing Elie in the buff had paled compared
to wondering what she and Haru were doing.
“Hey, you got the tube working!” Go’s voice boomed behind
him. Nice job, Kato!”
Griff seized up as Go and Rosa sat on the nearby couch.
“That the late movie?”
“Errrr…. NO! It’s a hard hitting political discussion
programme!”
Rosa peered past Griff. “They’re talking about politics
naked?” Then her eyes widened in disbelief. “Oh my God! That’s Haru and Elie!”
font-family:Arial'>
Her world was shattered.
A few minutes ago, Elie had been convinced the reason people
watched her from a distance was that they considered her odd, or unlikeable.
She believed that there was something about her that made people see her as
nothing but a good pal, the way Haru and Musica had been doing since this quest
began.
When she had met Seria, and the way she had latched onto the
man she was falling for. She had been jealous, for Haru had been nicer to her
during the quest.
After Rosa had joined the crew, she’d felt envious that all
the guys in Musica’s crew had hit on her, but none ever tried anything with
her. At first, she felt they were just being polite. But after days of Haru
ignoring her, her resentment of her body had begun. She had wished that she
could be slimmer, prettier… whatever Haru would find attractive… That was all
she wanted, just to be what Haru would find attractive.
So when he had said she was beautiful, she was shocked to
hear it. He had to have been lying. How could he find her attractive?
But then he had kissed her. And said he loved her…
This… couldn’t be real….
Haru removed his lips from hers, and watched for her
reaction. She touched her lips, they still felt warm from his contact. When he
had kissed her… it had felt so comforting, to know he was that close to her.
Her nerves had gone haywire, jumping with energy. She felt safe. She felt
hungry for more.
She looked at Haru, who stood in silence with an anxious
look on his face, as if expecting her to run away. But he stood in the entrance
of the shower, the wisps to steam from the shower creeping around his legs.
Her eyes took in his developed chest. Although he was
skinny, months of fighting and training had given him hard, yet not
overwhelming muscles. His skin was clear; save the various scars he’d received,
including the large cross-like scar where Doryu had stabbed him. His arms were
strong and tapering, even as they just hung by his sides.
His face was simple and defined, framed by the messy silver
hair. But his eyes… his blue eyes….
In them, she could see everything that made him… Haru… His
naivety and dopiness. His kindness and heart. His determination and courage.
His devotion.
“You’re beautiful too….” She heard herself say before she
could stop herself.
His face went more crimson. “Ah… er… thank you…”
“No…. thank you……” She wrapped her arms around his neck, and
pressed herself to him. “Thank you for loving me…”
His arms pressed to the small of her back. “How could I
not?”
She bent up slightly to kiss him again. This time, it felt
more passionate. She wanted his taste. She wanted him…
“Haru… touch me.”
He blinked. “Er… what do you mean?”
“I…. I just want to feel you on me.” She breathed. “Don’t
you want to?”
font-family:Arial'>Griff could only gibber at the scene unfolding on the TV.
“Huminahuminahuminahuminahumina…..”
Go smirked. “Hey Rosa-chan, remember when we made videos
like this in college?”
“Ooooohh yeah!” Rosa replied.
“You made shows like this too, poyo?” Ruby asked, not having
a clue what they were really on about. “You’ll have to show me sometime, I love
a good independent film.”
“NOOOOOO!” Musica stood with his finger poised to turn the
TV off.
“Hey, leave it on, poyo!”
Other voices spoke. “Yeah, leave it on!” Don’t touch it!”
“This is great!” “I didn’t know this place had the adult channel.” “You turn
that off, I kill you!”
Musica facefaulted when he realised that all of his crew,
and most of the hotel’s occupants had crowded into the room, and were staring
wide-eyes from behind the couch.
“Shuda, help me out here!” He begged. “You can’t possibly be
getting off on this.”
“Not really.” Shuda replied. “But I am curious to see if he
has the guts to go all the way with her.”
Rosa jumped up. “I just read her lips! She said Haru, take
me. Let the smut begin!”
“Take her where, poyo? She needs some clothes, poyo.”
Musica looked up at the roof. “God help me!”
As if he had been heard, a massive thunderbolt struck the
hotel with a loud bang. Instantly, the lights and TV blinked off, leaving the
room in darkness.
Then an emergency generator kicked in, the lights returning,
but very dim.
Everyone watched as Griff began to hit the side of the TV.
“Come on, work!” He grabbed the sides and rattled it violently. “Speak to
meeeee! Poppa needs his medicine!”
“I think you’ve lost the signal.” Shuda observed. “Shame. It
was getting to the good stuff.”
Complaints and moans of discontent echoed in the air. Griff
seemed to be crying. “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
“Cheer up Griff, poyo.” Ruby spoke. “Maybe they’ll release
it on DVD.”
Griff snapped his fingers. “We can do better than that. To
Elie’s room!”
He ran out followed by Go, Rosa and everyone else. Ruby took
up the rear.
“You mean this is a live broadcast, Poyo?”
Musica sighed and looked at Shuda. “So, you have no regrets
about leaving Demon Card whatsoever?”
As the sound of thunder rang across the sky, Elie yelled
with fright, and crushed herself to Haru’s chest. She closed her eyes and began
to shudder, not noticing the light go off. The fear took a cold grasp of her
heart….
But as she felt Haru’s arms wrap around her, suddenly, it
seemed to melt away. All she felt was safe, comforting warmth. She looked into
his eyes, still shining even in the dark.
“It’s alright Elie-chan.” Hs voice was slightly husky, but
still had his high timbre. “You’re safe.”
Her fear subsided. And when another thunderbolt streaked
past the window, she didn’t flinch. There was no more reason e afe afraid.
Her arms wrapped around his neck, and she continued her
ministrations on his chest, before trailing her lips up to meet his. She kissed
him all over his face, before settling back to his mouth.
“Elie-chan…..” He whispered, drawing back slightly to look
at her “Do you want to do this? I don’t… want to hurt you.”
“Please….” She gasped. The heat that had been burning within
her was too much to deny now. “I’ll be alright. Please, don’t worry.” She
kissed him. “I love you.”
In the dark, it took a bit of fumbling and apologies from
Haru. But eventually, she managed to guide him inside her. As he gently moved
him, her eyes closed tight as strange sensations filtered through her body.
Feeling him in there was strange, but at the same time, natural. Waves of
pleasure assaulted her senses, and she gently moved in tandem with him, crying
out small gasps as she went. Feeling the urge for more, she hopped up slightly
and crossed her legs around his waist, causing him to lean against the wall to
support them. The heat grew even hotter, mixing with the tingling of her
nerves, until it reached boiling point. She felt and saw nothing but Haru’s
body, and the steam which curled and rested on her skin. She focused on his
eyes, and a loud moan of ecstasy rang out of her throat.
Finally, she felt herself return to reality. They were back
in the shower, the water still running. Her skin felt hot, with a slight cool
feeling as it dryed. She leaned against Haru’s chest, her energy totally spent.
She panted for breath, and stared adoringly at Haru. He looked more shattered
than when he had battled King.
“Tha… that….” He tried to speak between breaths. Elie could
feel him trembling.
“That was… man….” He was trying to describe something Elie
could hardly explain. She knew it was just human nature, but within…
“It was like magic.” She breathed.
Haru grinned even wider. “Yeah. Magic.” He held her tighter.
“I love you.”
“Love you too… mophead.”
They took a few minutes to clean themselves off and dry each
other with towels. As the steam dissipated, Haru wrapped a towel around Elie.
“How does your bed feel?” He asked.
“Oh, its kinda lumpy….” She squealed when he suddenly lifted
her into his arms.
“My bed it is then.”
Haru carried her to the door. As they got closer, they could
hear sounds of people just outside. They looked at each other in confusion,
before Haru nudged open the door with his foot.
They were met with a standing ovation. Haru froze in shock,
and Elie almost screamed. Filling the entire corridor were dozens of people,
with Griff, Ruby, Go and Rosa in the front. They clapped vigorously, and wolf
whistles and cheers were heard. Nearby, Shuda and Musica stood, looking very
embarrassed.
Haru and Elie looked at the crowd, then at each other.
“Perverts!” They shouted in unison.
Then the two made a swift beeline for Haru’s room, Eliie
snuggling up to Haru all the way to the bed.
