surroundings with such rage it was a miracle he didn’t combust. Hakkai, too,
was becoming less distraught and increasingly angry as the verbal battle wore

Hakkai asked, standing up so he was eye-level with those blood-red orbs, trying
to read them as he had done so many times in the past."Been with,

what happened,"Hakkai looked
about to ready to collapse."..And how
it’s not going to happen again," Gojyo finished. Hakkai was simply staring
at him. "Right?"Hakkai slid down
onto the sofa again, pressing the heels of his palms against his eyes.
"Yes," he whispered.Gojyo settled
down by his side, wrapping an arm around Hakkai's shoulders. "I'm going to
need you to tell me everything... Do you think you can do that?"Hakkai stiffened
at first, but then shifted his weight against his best friend's musculature.
"Yes.... alright... the beginning, then..."---
