Author’s notes: My second lemon! This story just popped up into my mind after reading Son of the Morning on Mink’s Yaoi Archives. You don’t need to read it to understand the story but I highly suggest you go and read it because it’s a very good story. Just keep in mind that in my story, Inouye go all the way (I won’t say much more, don’t want to spoil the plot ^_^ For help, Seiji is 16 in this fic. I also tried not to make it too boring or common. Oh and by the way, this story is dedicated to my wonderful friend Angel of Fire!

Healing
By: Shadow of Arashi (aka Shadow Moon)
Tonight was another usual evening in Nasutei’s mansion. Seiji was in the living room reading his newspaper on the couch while Shuu was eating yet another sandwich. Shin was talking with Ryo about the next movie, and Touma was stargazing through the window. Just another quiet, happy evening.
Seiji laughed inwardly at a joke Shin made on Shuu before turning back to his paper. His eyes fell on the last article and stopped dead. He didn’t make a sound, but his eyes widened and his hands started shaking slightly as he stared in shock and growing panic at the newspaper.
No… It can’t be. It can’t be him! Not after all this time!
Seiji kept staring until his vision became blurred and finally realized that something or rather someone was trying to talk to him. He snapped back out of his shocked state at the sound of his best friend’s voice and the feeling of g atg at his shoulder.
"Seiji ! Seiji snap out of it ! Seiji !"
"Touma ?" Seiji managed shakily.
"Yes. Are you okay ? You look like you have just seen a ghost or something. You really scared me, you know."
Seiji just shook his head, trying to get a grip on himself and to calm his raging heart, failing miserably. Hastily, he stood, almost knocking Touma off him and to the ground. He ran upstairs to his room, not looking back. Slamming the door shut behind him, he threw himself on the soft bed, doing something he hadn’t done before when he should have. He broke down into tears.
Why ?! Why now ? Why must everything remind me of THAT ?!
Touma swore under his breath before getting up. What had gotten into him? To run away like that. Touma had never seen Seiji this terrified, even during the war, and it scared him. Touma glanced at his friends and noticed that he wasn’t the only one totally clueless of what had happened.
"Just what the hell is wrong with him ?" said Shuu, eyes still wide, putting into words everybody’s thoughts.
Touma sighed, before looking up at the stairs. "I don’t know. But don’t worry, I will." Then his eyes found the newspaper that Seiji had been reading and had thrown in his panic. Picking it up, he scanned the article that Seiji had been reading. It was rather short and said:
A teacher has been arrested for sexual abuse on young students this morning. It seems that this teacher, Sensei Inouye as called by his students, was more than likely implicated in the sexual abuse of other young students before this. Though, the police still need proof, his disappearance from the city where he worked before seems to confirm this suspicion.
Touma raised a blue eyebrow. What does this article have to do with Seiji? Touma walked upstairs to Seiji’s room and knocked lightly on the door.
"Seiji, are you in here ?" No response was forthcoming.
Toumghedghed. He should have expected this from his friend. He tried to open the door and to his surprise, it opened. Seiji must have been so disturbed by whatever scared him that he forgot to lock his door. Not a good thing. And what he found in the room surprised him even more. Seiji was face down on his bed and crying.
"Seiji ?"
The blonde didn’t even look up. Instead, he buried his head in his arms, still crying and moaning something that Touma couldn’t understand.
"Seiji ?" he tried again, still getting no answer.
Touma walked over to the bed and sat beside the blonde. Resting his hand on Seiji’s shoulder, he shook it gently. That’s when Seiji’s words made sense to him.
"Whywhywhy ? WhatdidIdo ? OhmygodwhatdidIdotodeservethis…"
Touma shook Seiji’s shoulder a little harder.
"Seiji… Seiji please talk to me. What’s wrong ?"
It killed him to see his friend like this. It hurt him in his very soul to see him in such a vulnerable state, especially since he had a crush on Seiji. And a hard one. Seiji was more than his best friend. He was his everything. His quiet charm and -almost- shy personality had stolen his heart a long time ago. The blonde just didn’t know it, and more than likely never will.
Touma steeled his will and turned Seiji on his back swiftly. Seiji let out a strangled gasp of surprise and gazed at Touma through tears filled eyes. He looked like a deer caught in a car’s headlight. Seiji stared at Touma for an instant before breaking eye contact. He tried to turn his head away, but Touma put his arms on each side of Seiji’s head, efficiently preventing him from escaping.
"Seiji, what’s wrong ? You need to tell me what is bothering you so I can help you."
"It’s nothing…" came the weak reply.
Touma stared in disbelief.
"Nothing ?! Something that got you crying and shaking like a leaf is hardly nothing !"
Seiji just cried harder and closed his eyes. Touma was lost now. Not knowing what do, he gingerly took Seiji into his arms and started to rock him gently, trying to soothe the blonde.
"Seiji… What’s wrong ? Is the article in the newspaper what scared you ?"
Touma felt Seiji tense in his arms almost as soon as the blonde heard the softly spoken words.
"So it is that article. But what did it have to do with you ?"
Seiji bowed his head and let it fall against his best friend’s chest. He was so scared. He was unsure and frightened, and he felt so dirty inside. What will Touma think of him if he told him? He felt so lost and alone. Seiji took a shaky breath this time and decided to take a chance. After all, Touma is his best friend, he will understand. But what if he didn’t? Seiji pushed that thought away and gathered his courage.
"Well since you seem to have read the article, you know who Sensei Inouye is."
Touma nods.
"So you know what he did to some of his students."
The sentence was not a question and Touma knew it. But he still nodded.
"Well, what you might not know is that I was one of them."
"What ?!"
Seiji trembled but didn’t stop. Now that he had opened the gates to those memories he couldn’t close them, the words seemed to leave his mouth without him having any control over it.
"I was one of them. Maybe even the first. It happened four years ago. He was always so strange, and he seemed to hate me more than anything. One day I got pissed at him for hurting one of my classmates and I went to his office to talk to him. It was the biggest mistake I have ever made."
Seiji’s voice had became hard and almost ironic at the end, as if laughing at his younger self, but Touma didn’t get the time to point it out.
"When I stepped into his office, he got up and locked the door. I was afraid he was going to hurt me. Though at first I thought he was going to leave and tell the headmaster so I would be forced to leave the school. Now I wish he did. Instead he pulled me against his desk and kissed me. Then he began to undress me and he… he…."
There Seiji broke down and burst into tears. He hid his face against Touma’s chest and his body started to shake again. He was almost choking with the flow of his tears and had started to pound his fist against Touma’s torso weakly while screaming.
"WHY ? WHY ME ? Why did he do it ?! Why did he rape me ?! What did I do ?"
Touma was simply too stunned to react. He was totally speechless. Snapping out of his shock, he was painfully aware that Seiji was having a nervous breakdown and that he needed him. He held Seiji in his arms tightly and whispered soft words to him, trying to calm the hysteric blonde.
"Seiji calm down, please. It’s over now. He won’t hurt you anymore, I promise. I won’t let him. He is in jail now and won’t get out for a bloody long time."
In his arms, Seiji still shook with his sobs, but he had stopped pounding against Touma’s chest. They stayed like this for a moment, Touma holding his broken love. Seiji had stopped crying and felt good in Touma’s arms, safe, protected and loved. The word surprised Seiji somehow, but it felt perfectly right. That was what he felt now, snuggled against his friend.
He suddenly realized what that meant. Touma was holding him! That meant he wasn’t disgusted with him! Seiji, despite his reluctance in doing so, pulled himself slightly away from Touma so he could look at the archer’s face and received another shock. Touma was crying.
"Touma? Why are you crying?" he asked. The blue-haired boy just held him tighter.
"Because… it hurt me to see you in so much pain because of that bastard and…"
"And ?" Seiji pressed, feeling hope growing in his heart despite himself. But Touma shook his head.
"No. You will only hate me. Especially after what he did to you. You will never want to…"
"Never want what? Touma I could never hate you. You are the only person I can trust with my life…" Seiji said, surprised at his own words. They had come tumbling out before he could think to stop them. But he certainly didn’t regret them. He saw Touma move and then felt Touma’s fingers lift his chin just a little more to look him in the eyes.
"Seiji, I love you. My friendship for you has slowly turned into love with each passing moment I have had with you. I still don’t know how or why, but I do."
