Chapter One: Loss of Innocence
“Brock it\'s getting\' kinda cold out and Misty looks tired, I think we should call it a day.” Ash stated rather suddenly, noticing his girlfriend shiver.
It was the beginning of November and only six o\'clock but it was just about pitch black in Viridian City. The weary travelers had gone through the small metropolis so many times that they knew exactly where to head, nevertheless it was freezing out especially since Misty only wore her usual shorts and tank top. They had been on the road for days. Ash had beaten the Johto League and now carried with him a huge trophy. At this moment they were going to make their way up to Pewter City to visit with Brock\'s family before heading down to Pallet and surprising Ash\'s mom.
“Piii.” Whined Pikachu. He could have sworn that he felt a drop of water hit his furry head. The chubby yellow Pokémon knew very well that water and electricity simply did not mix.
“It\'s only six, I thought we could camp out tonight... but if you say so.” Brock shrugged his shoulders. The Pokémon breeder wasn\'t known as Brock the Rock for nothing, he apparently had the aptitude for surviving anything, raising ten little brothers and sisters inevitably do that to a young man.
“Thanks Ash.” Misty whispered clutching Togepi as she walked closer to her boyfriend, who was now carefully placing his shirt on her shoulders.
“Toge...” The egg Pokémon mumbled in her sleep.
They walked to the nearby Pokémon Center and checked in, luckily they got there before all the other Pokémon Trainers and the freezing rain had started. They were able to get a small room with two bunk beds. The three friends ate their dinner, took their baths, and were quickly off to bed. Brock was out cold, he had always been a heavy sleeper; they didn\'t need to think about what he was busy dreaming about. The pillow in his arms, the corner of which was in his mouth, and the moaning of Nurse Joy\'s name gave that away completely. Togepi and Pikachu shared a top bunk over Brock; they too were really tired, however Ash and Misty were wide-awake.
“Spst... Ash... you asleep?” Misty whispered from the top bunk.
“No, I\'m awake.” Ash replied as he rolled over. “Why?”
“I\'m kind of cold could I come down and cuddle up next to you?” The red head asked with a smile, between thee ate at Jessie and James wedding and this moment now, they had not yet slept together again, and Misty really had two purposes to getting into bed with Ash in mind.
“Yeah... ok... bring your blanket it is sort of chilly.” He said with a small chuckle. “Just promise me you won\'t be too naughty.”
Ash moved over as to give Misty more room. He heard her come down from the top bunk and felt the extra blanket being carefully spread over him. His heart was racing with anticipation (in which case he had to remind himself that this wasn\'t a Pokémon battle) and as she snuggled closer to him he felt an all too familiar tightening in his boxers.
