"D! You jerk!
Rraaar, you can't do this to me!"
"Well
I should certainly think that I can, you moronic buffoon. This is a pet shop, not a daycare! And we are closed for the next couple of
days. There are some errands I simply
must attend to!"
~Bro...~
"But
D! This is a really big case! I can't drag Chris along with me!"
~Bro...
I'm hungry.~
"Hmph,
and I suppose the fact that it's a drug bust in a circle of fashion models has
nothing to do with your apparent... excitement."
~Cool,
models?~
"You! You leave that out of this you weirdo! I can't drag Chris to a house full of
scantily clad women!"
~Sure you
can!~
"Well...
You didn't seem concerned about the state of your Cro-Magnon apartment!"
~I didn't
mind.~
"It's
no use Chris," Pon-chan whispered from behind Count D's Cheongsam. "They're not listening."
*sigh*
"Don't
worry Chris," Tet-chan said, glaring and growling. "As soon as he turns his back I'm gonna
bite him real hard!"
"Fine! I didneedneed ya anyway!"
"And
I certainly don't need you coming in here and eating all my food and drinking
my good tea when you don’t even know the difference between Good Jasmine and
Lipton! You lout!"
By this
time, Chris was sitting on the step.
Tet-chan and Pon-chan had retreated inside the house. The Count finally ended the argument by
slamming the door in his brother's face.
After a moment of stunned silence, Leon slumped, staring sadly at the
small white paper bag in his hand.
"Aw
man... and I spent half a day's pay on this god damn bag of truffles."
Promptly
the door opened and a long-nailed hand snatched the bag before the door was
slammed shut again. A closed sign
appeared in the window.
Leon
turned and patted Chris on the head.
"Well, squirt... looks like you and me are on the case. We're partners okay???" Leon smiled down at Chris and Chris smiled
back.
~Really????
Cool!~
"In
the meantime, I'm starved. Let's go eat
Chinese."
~Yay!~
"Bye
bye, Chris. Pon-Chan waved out the
window at the retreating boy, and he waved back."
"Hmph...” Tet-chan watched too, his arms crossed and a
sour look on his face. Stupid brat.
It's about time his dumb brother took responsibility for
once." But it was obvious that the
Totetsu was already missing Chris.
Count D too stared out the window.
He appeared to be satisfied that the two blonds had left. He gave a small ‘huff’ and closed the
curtains. Pon-chan turned to Tet-chan.
"He
looks mad, but he already misses Chris and Leon too."
"I
heard that."
"GULP*
"Hey
Count, why'd you kick the stupid human out anyway? Are we really closed for renovations?"
"Of
a sort, Tet-chan. I do not mind Chris'
company, even despite the constant visits from that loudmouth oaf of a brother
of his.”
Several
of the animals in the shop rolled their eyes at this as the Count continued.
“For the
next three days, I will be at a delicate stage of a Kami’s life. It will be vital that I am completely
alone.”
"Huh?" Tet-chan said, raising an eyebrow. "What does that mean? Even without us?"
D
smiled. "I'm afraid so. It won’t be long, but it is absolutely
necessary that you all retreat to the deeper rooms and keep them locked for a
few days. Whereas I trust you to do so,
I do not trust humans. And yet it
didn’t escape the animals, how D’s long nails lingered on the curtain as his
two blond humans disappeared from sight.
Shaking his head as he realized his lingering, D turned. Come now, there is not much time. Wet get get everyone tucked away
quickly."
~~
“Wha-ha-ha-ha…”
Leon and
Chris both stared, gaga eyed at the beauty that dwelled within this room. Voluptuous babes were everywhere! Perfect skin, perfect bodies, perfect…
And Chris
lamented that he would soon have a growth spurt and not be at the perfect level
for viewing such fine… assets as these girls possessed. Of course, all the girls were fawning over
Chris. It wasn’t very often that such
an adorable little boy graced the studios of the models in question. Both blonds basked in the attention.
Agog
though he was, Leon still knew he had a job to do. He began questioning the girls.
Insisting on close examinations, to make sure they were absolutely clean.
“It’s
absolutely necessary that I listen to your heart to make sure that… that’s an
interesting tattoo a I wonder if I could..”
At that
point a scream had pierced the air.
Everyone looked around, girls, Leon and a blushing Chris alike. The sound had come from the upper
balcony. Immediately Leon asked the
girl he was interviewing.
“What’s
up there?”
“Those
are the dressing rooms.”
He nodded
and ran up the stairs to where the scream had come from. Pulling his gun, he proceeded
carefully. The door opened and a girl
came running out of one of the apartments, sobbing and throwing her scantily
clad body at Leon, crying on his shoulder.
A bit
awkwardly, he held her by the waist, gun still held high as he moved to look
inside the apartment. Backing out, he
closed the door. Pushing the crying
girl onto one of her friends, he pulled out his cell phone.
“Hello,
Jill? You had better get some backup
down here. There’s been a murder.”
***** This is a page break ******
Minutes
later, the studio was crawling with police.
As Jill arrived on the scene, she was forced to duck under a moving roll
of yellow tape before making her way to the upper level. As she came in, animal control was just
coming out, a small animal carrier in hand.
They carried nooses and nets, and though Jill couldn’t see what was in
the cage, she was fairly certain she saw scales.
“Leon, is
that a…”
“Yeah.”
“How on
earth? Was the snake poisonous?”
Leon
shook his head. “It’s a boa
constrictor.”
“So it
wasn’t a murder.”
“Maybe…”
Jill
looked at Leon. He was pensive, and
she knew exactly what he was thinking.
Already, she could see where this was headed. Pressing a hand against her forehead, she shook it faintly.
“Leon,
this obsession of yours is going to get you into trouble someday!”
“She
bought the snake from Chinatown!”
“Leon…
lots of stupid people buy dangerous animals!
Boas aren’t even illegal. What
on earth could the Count have to do with this?”
“That’s
what I need to find out.”
“Leon,
the shop is closed. He’s probably not
even there.”
“No
problem.” Leon smiled, taking out his
keys and jingling them about. “He gave
me a key to the shop for emergencies.”
Jill
stared. A slow grin spread on her
face. “You have a key now huh? I didn’t know you two were that serious
already.”
Leon’s
blush was instant. “Shut up!” He
bellowed. “It’s only to the front part
of the shop, you pervert! God, he’s a
guy for god’s sake!”
Jill only
kept grinning. “Well you go, lover
boy. I’ll take care of things here.”
Leon
growled and turned to leave. “Oh, and
Jill, can you take care of Chris? He’s
downstairs.”
“Planning
on spending the night?”
“Rrrr,
damn it Jill!”
She
laughed, loving how easy it was to get a rise out of the guy when it was about
the count. “I’ll watch him, Leon. Just call when you want to come get him.”
Great,
thanks! Leon practically left smoke in
his wake. Jill smiled. That guy had no clue. In the meantime, she went to get Chris, who
was busy “comforting” various models.
Yeah. They were brothers all
right.
*** This

“Yo! D!”
Leon
looked around the front parlor of the shop.
It was completely empty. Not a
single animal was in sight. Even the
ever-present smell of incense was gone.
Only a hint of it remained. All
the doors that led to the deeper parts of the shop were locked. The place looked near abandoned.
“Sheesh,
if he was going on a trip, why the fuck didn’t he just tell me?” Leon sat down on the couch, which was oddly
cold and uninviting, without the usual menagerie around. Lighting up a cigarette, he thought about what
he could do next. Obviously if the
count wasn’t going to be back for a while, he wasn’t going to get any
information out of the bastard. Might
as well kick back for a little while and figure out what to do. Though, as usual, he probably wouldn’t get a
thing. The fact was, there were quite a
few people who had been killed by Boa Constrictors, either by not keeping them
fed, or letting them roam free. Once
the poor sap was asleep, they never even knew what hit them.
Leon
shuddered. Even if D weren’t involved,
he’d hate to think of Chris being vulnerable to one of his pets. Then again, he had never even thought twice
about letting Chris stay here. Fuck,
even though he hated that bastard goat, he knew it would protect Chris.
Putting
out his cigarette, Leon stood to go.
Maybe he could salvage the day and take Chris somewhere fun. He was about to go back up the long
stairway, which strangely didn’t feel as sinister and dark as it usually did,
when a creaking sound made him turn around.
One thing
Leon had always prided himself on, was his attention to detail. He had checked. Five minutes ago, every door in the shop had been closed and
locked. However, now one of the doors
had come open on it’s own seemingly.
“D?” Leon called out. Maybe the weirdo had just been back there all this time. Hiding no doubt! Leon walked over to the door, pushing it open carefully. He wondered if he should pull his gun… but
decided against it. If there were any
animals in there, someone could get hurt.
“D?” He said again, a little
louder. The air had a strange stench
inside this room. It was dark, and he
searched for a light but found no wall switch.
Remembering that this room only had one lamp, he stumbled over to the
corner. The floor was covered with
objects that he couldn’t avoid, seeing as it was so dark. As he flipped on the light, there was a
slight retreating sound, as if paper was being crumpled.
The
illuminated room was not how Leon remembered it. Nothing like it. The
walls were no longer visible, enshrouded by a strange fog. Leon realized what it was he had been
smelling. It was the smell of
vegetation. The floor was covered in
vines, and in the shadows of the fog, he could see more of them. They were anywhere from hair thin, to the
thickness of a man’s arm, or slightly larger.
“What
the…” Leon kicked an offending vine off
his ankle as he walked toward one of the walls. As he reached out and touched one of the larger vines, it
shuddered and withdrew. More vines
dropped down, getting in his hair and falling on his arms. Absently he brushed them away. Somehow, he couldn’t be surprised. He still had occasional nightmares about his
Gattoletto coming to life and doing shit like this. D was a creepy fucker.
Maybe he had finally bitten off more than he could chew, buying all
these weird ass plants and animals.
A hint of
worry clouded Leon’s eyes. He moved
forward, pushing the hanging vines out of his way, cursing as he had to shake a
couple off of his ankles and feet again.
“Hey D! You okay?” Hell.
It wasn’t as if he didn’t care about the guy. Frankly, Leon owed him, for being around for Chris. That was all. Besides, it would be nice to save D and have the shoe on the
other foot for once. Leon smirked. Yeah!
D would be so grateful.
God damn
it, these vines were annoying! They
were in his hair now and as he moved forward, the tie came out.
“Fuck.” Leon turned around to find the band, but
tripped on a larger vine. s"> Putting his
hand forward, he landed a le awe awkwardly on the floor. Looking down, he paled. One of the larger vines had somehow managed
to wind itself around his leg several times.
Suddenly, Leon realized that he might be in a little trouble.
“Damn
it.” He turned over and started
unwrapping the vine. “I’m gonna buy
some fucking Weed Be Gone and toast this mother fucking plant!”
“Such
language, Detective…”
Leon
looked around. He couldn’t see a
thing. The fog and the smell of
vegetation wven ven stronger now and it made his eyes water. “D?”
He looked around, not seeing the count.
Looking down, he saw that the vine was crawling back up his leg from
where he had unwound it. He went back
to the task, only to find that his wrist had been caught by one of the
tenacious vines. He pulled, but it was
too thick. Yet another vine had crept
around his waist and was now pulling him back, causing his legs to
straighten. Another vine moved with
lighting speed, wrapping around his other leg.
With his
free left hand, he reached for his gun, but another vine wrapped around his
neck, pulling his head backp>
“Nngh! D!
Gets fus fucking plant off of me!”
The
distraction had given another vine time to wrap around his left hand, and now,
he was completely helpless. He
struggled against the tightening bonds, but finally he was held firmly, his
body prostrate and completely bound.
More vines tangled in his hair, but otherwise, he was held completely
still. Out of the shadows, came a
figure. Leon narrowed his eyes, trying
to make out what he knew was there.
Suddenly, the face he knew so well was staring down at him, at his
side. D’s pupils were completely gone
and all there was was flecked violet and gold staring through him. D was nude, save for some random vines
rapped around his own body, though they didn’t restrain him as they did
Leon.
“I told
you to stay away detective” He
whispered, his eyes half lidded and sinister looking. D was so close, Leon could feel D’s cool breath on his face. Looking down, Leon couldn’t see the lower
half of D’s body, but rather, it seemed to be gone. Where his legs should have been, instead were vines of varying
thickness, protruding from his lower body and going on for what seemed
forever. Fuck. The vines were D, and Leon was definitely
dreaming.
“I don’t…
what…” Leon looked back to D, whose
hands were currently playing with Leon’s hair.
His lips were so close.
“Shhhh…”
D whispered, his lips practically touching Leon’s. Leon looked back at D’s eyes and felt like he was falling into
their never-ending depths. Against his
will, his body relaxed. “its too late
now, my Leon.” And then D muffled
Leon’s feeble cries of protest with his lips, Leon struggled, but his body felt
light and ineffectual. His mind was
clouded and he felt more concept than reality.
D’s tongue slipped easily into his slack mouth and he knew he must be
dreaming. This wasn’t real. It couldn’t be real. He had probably fallen asleep on D’s couch
and would wake up any minute. With that
stupid goat chewing on his ankle.
“I assure
you, detective, it is quite real.” A
single deadly sharp nail made short work of his shirt and it was pulled from
him easily, the cotton cloth of a simple T-shirt falling in ribbons around
him. The talons scraped gently down his
chest, even as he twisted in his bonds, the vines cutting into his arms. More vines had wrapped around him, both
small and large. Singly, they were not
strong, but their numbers made it impossible for escape.
“Or
perhaps it is a dream. If that’s so,
you should simply give into your desire.”
“My… What desire!” Leon yelled.
D’s eyes
slitted as he drew back, his talons teasing Leon’s flesh as they traveled down
his well formed biceps and over the soft skin of his wrists. D then tangled his fingers in those of the
Detectives and licked a hot trail up the man’s neck. Leon gasped and struggled, but the tongue continued to his ear,
before he heard whispered words from the pale apparition.
“Please,
Detective. I sell desire. Do you not think I can see it in you?” D snorted, seeming more his usual bastard
self. “You are a fine specimen of a
human Leon, but you are still human, and still fettered by that most base and
vulgar of human desires.
Leon
choked. “What the fuck do you know
about it? What gives you the right to
judge me you bastard!”
.
“Shhhhh…
don’t strain yourself, my dear Leon. I
will give you what you want. Do not be
afraid of it.”
A ripping
sound alerted Leon to the fact that his jeans were slowly being shredded as
well. The vines quickly pushed
underneath the shredded cloth, pulling the tatters from his muscular legs. He began to strain, twisting as hard as he
could, managing to break some of the smaller vines!
“No! I don’t want this! Damn it D! Let me the
fuck go! Let me nnn!”
A slender
hand cradled Leon’s neck and then his cheek.
D forced Leon to look into his eyes.
Again, Leon felt that falling sensation, his body going slack. The other hand trailed downward, to cradle
his limp member. Almost immediately,
Leon could feel himself stiffen and his breath quickened, coming in short
staccato to that of D’s slow calm breath against his. Again, D’s mouth was on his, tongue licking his lips and coaxing
his own tongue to come forward and taste what he so desired. The cool slender fingers cradled the
blonde’s head, talons slicing away a few strands of sandy blond hair as they
did. Leon’s body struggled, but the
vines held tight, and Leon slowly gave in, sucking on the taste that was so
D. He had imagined it like this. He would deny it, but he couldn’t help his
fantasies. D tasted sweet, and
powerful. Leon shuddered at his own
helplessness, but deep inside, he reveled in it.
Unconsciously,
Leon thrust his hips against the cool fingers that closed so perfectly around
his cock. It was not the soft grip of a
woman’s hand, but hard and demanding. D
smiled against Leon’s lips. Drawing
away, he whispered into the cop’s ear.
“I told
you I knew what you desired.”
Leon
desperately tried to catch his breath, as the hand continued to work his now
painfully hard erection. D was blowing
into his ear now, his tongue dancing along the soft skin. Leon whimpered, but shook his head.
“Just
because you know, doesn’t mean you understand you asshole.” Leon said,
straining foreword.
D
froze. His eyes sliding shut as Leon
kissed, then licked, then sucked at the slender junction of his neck and
shoulder. Leon was still in bonds, so
the Kami leaned into Leon’s lips, closing his eyes and letting himself feel the
detective’s passion. The warmth of a
living body and the heat of Leon’s lips sent shivers through Count D. As with all animals, D could hear the
throbbing beat of Leon’s heart, reminding D that Leon too was a creature of the
Earth. D yearned to drink that blood,
but he had been warned against it. Kami
had shunned humans long ago. Yet there
was something so enticing about this one.
As rude and vulgar as he was, he was more animal like. And he was fiercely loyal, not unlike many
of D’s most cherished pets.
Leon was
right. D did not understand. Not fully.
As simple as humans were, they were complicated, changing and forever
mutating like a virus. Unlike their
animal companions they had long since abandoned, even daring to fathom that
they were “better” than their fellow beasts, not able to admit that they were
just as organic and fleeting.
And yet
they were a powerful force, even threatening the lives of the Kami
occasionally, thus forcing D’s kind to hide within their masses, and allow them
to fool themselves about their own power.
Hiding in the shadows of human ignorance while taking their revenge for
those that fell.
D gasped
as Leon’s lips made their way down his neck.
Rising up, D allowed the blond to suckle on his nipple, drawing a
pleased moan from his pale throat. Leon
responded by sucking harder, gently scraping the hardened flesh with his teeth.
“Aaah!” D threw his head back and pulled the human’s
head closer, before moving down and kissing Leon passionately. This time, Leon became more the aggressor,
thrusting his tongue in to slide vigorously over D’s. He was to engrossed in D’s taste and passion to feel the vines
that slipped between his legs, spreading them apart and pushing toward the
opening they instinctively knew was there.
D felt
himself nearing release. The pleasure
sung through the vines that were his own body, as he was part of them. The age-old dance that allowed a Kami to
birth new life if he so wished would soon be upon them. This only occurred once every three hundred
years, or so, if the Kami found a suitable mate. Leon would not like this next part, and he brought a pale hand
to squeeze at the head of Leon’s erection, drawing a muffled gasp against his
lips as he drew his hand in long strokes, trying to coax as much pleasure from
the man as he could.
Leon
whimpered, throwing his head back, and then resting it on D’s shoulder,
shuddering and thrusting against D’s hand as it pleasured him. He had never felt like this before. It was too much.
“D!” A whispered sob. “D! I want to hold
you. Please!”
D shh’d
the man and withdrew the vines from
Leon’s arms enough to let him encircle them around the slender god. Once again, D felt enveloped in the warmth
of life and he kissed Leon’s temple, wrapping his free hand around the blonde’s
shuddering form. He held on tight,
knowing that Leon would struggle soon.
Though he quite enjoyed the man’s large warm hands stroking the pale,
tender skin of his back, D gently bound Leon’s hands together so they were both
effectively bound in an embrace.
Leon
tensed and looked at D questioningly.
“D?”
“Shhhh,
my Leon. It will only hurt for a
moment, I promise you.”
Before
Leon could ask what he meant, D’s eyes hardened and he kissed the Detective
hard, forcing their lips together as he surged forward. Leon’s eyes widened, and a protesting yell gurgled
in his throat, though muffled by D’s lips as his body was slowly violated. Pulling away, he twisted violently, trying
to escape the vines that pushed their way slowly inside of him. Once again, D caught his hair and turned his
head, capturing Leon’s eyes, and holding them with his own. Slowly, Leon’s body stopped struggling.
“Don’t
fight it my Leon. Soon you will feel
nothing but pleasure.”
Leon’s
eyes were wide, his breath coming in short gasps, but he did not pull his gaze
away, even as D ghosted kisses over his open mouth. Leon occasionally shuddered and jerked as the vines invaded and
filled him. The pain in his eyes slowly
faded and D stroked him gently, feeling the blood slowly pulse back into Leon’s
flagging member. He kissed the blond
softly, making love to Leon’s mouth with his tongue even as he surged deeper
inside the human’s body. This time,
Leon moaned with pleasure and D responded by stroking the velvet skin of Leon’s
cock even harder.
“That’s
it my Leon. Let me fill every inch of
you. I will take you to heights you
never dreamed of.”
Leon let
his head droop forward as he felt the strange vines moving inside of him,
pulsing and filling him. They moved
against something inside of him, making him buck and see white hot spots in his
vision. God, it was… how was D doing this? What was he? The slender body surged against his, pulling them close, even as
adept fingers stroked his member. He
was going to lose it soon. There was no
helping it, and there would be no turning back.
“D, I… I…
I think I’m gonna…”
Yes. D could feel it, the slow build of climax
within the frail human. Even as he
prepared to implant his own seed deep within the detective’s willing body, D could not deny his connection to the
detective. It was most likely the
reason for D’s current state. Leon was
a suitable mate… even if he was human.
His blood
smelled sweet and earthy. D nosed his
way down the man’s hard body, drawing closer to the organ he wished to
taste. There was something else he
wished to taste, but the time was not yet right. Slipping from Leon’s bound embrace, and tightening the vines, to
hold Leon’s arms to his body. D licked
his lips and slowly took Leon into his mouth, smiling at the choked cry, he
drew from his darling detective. He
lazily slid the member in and out of his mouth, looking up at the Detective as
he did, his eyes half lidded with pleasure as he watched Leon writhe and buck,
murmuring incoherently.
“D! Oh D!”
Leon felt
the vines, no longer an intrusion, but welcome as they pulsed and twisted,
touching places he had never known existed.
Spasming, within his bonds, Leon writhed. He couldn’t take much more of this. D had complete control and every time those liquid eyes looked up
at him, Leon felt the edge of orgasm, before it fell away again,
incomplete. One of D’s beautiful hands
was wrapped around the base of his cock, szingzing his tender sacks even as he
felt them tighten for release. The
other hand was stroking idly down his bare backside, occasionally squeezing. Leon wanted desperately to see his release,
the flash of D’s throat as he swallowed, but he couldn’t keep his eyes open.
He closed
his eyes and his head lolled back as he gave a hoarse shout as he came, not
seeing D’s long fingernail as it slashed a cut in the juncture between his
thigh and crotch, drawing blood forth onto the tan skin. D withdrew from Leon’s cock, and closed his
mouth around the small wound, sucking hard, even as he used his hand to work
the warm ejaculate from Leon’s pulsing cock.
Leon cried out and went limp, his orgasm still lingering, making him
shudder and thrust his hips.
D was
thrown into another world. Blood… DNA,
a history of mankind, from the mud they rose from to the monsters they had
become.
But there
were other things, beauties as well as atrocities. There was music and the fine art of language. There was strength and hope. Above all else, there was love. And suddenly D understood. This vulgar thing, that humans had
created. This fabricated emotion that
made men to kill their own and to covet like mad dogs. That crude evolution of companionship that
made women to sob and swoon, and fools to write poetry.
D knew
now, what Leon meant. It was not the
simple animal desire for copulation that Leon was constantly warring
against. It was deeper. And though D did not understand it, he
realized, that Leon could no more help it, than the Kami could help hating
humans. It was ingrained in his psyche,
and more bonding than the vines that currently wrapped around his now lax and
shivering body. The muscles still
quaked from orgasm, his hair hanging around his face, like the mane of the lion
he truly was. And D realized, that
although he did not know what human love was, he was inexorably bonded with this
human now, both physically and mentally.
D rose to
kiss Leon’s neck gently, running his hands through the blonde’s sweaty hair,
brushing it back and he wrapped his arms around Leon’s bound body, holding him
tightly for the end of their bonding. D
convulsed, as he felt himself ready to release. The pleasure began to sing through him, and he opened his
darkened lips in a silent cry as his energy gathered within him, pooling below
his stomach and traveling through those plant-like tendrils that were only a
part of his true self. The vines pulsed
within Leon and he jerked in D’s arms.
“D, oh
god, no more. I can’t”
D kissed
him softly, stroking his hair. “It is
almost over, my Leon.”
Burying
his head in Leon’s strong neck, D gave one final exulted cry before he released
all that he was, or rather… all that he would be, into the detectives willing
body. Leon’s eyes shot open and he too
was engulfed in a pleasure, far more amazing than anything he had ever felt. It wasn’t the earthy pleasure of lust. It was something beyond. Leon saw millions of things, he saw inside
D, and his mind couldn’t take it. He
could feel D’s soft silken hair brush against his shoulder as he shook his head
back and forth, crying Leon’s name over and over again. Leon struggled against the vines and they
released his arms willingly as he wrapped them around D’s slender body. He felt as if they were one entity, filled
with light and heat.
They lay
together, gasping. Leon was far-gone
beyond sanity and he felt his consciousness draining from him. D was completely slack in his arms, but the
vines slowly withdrew, and as Leon watched, they began to whither and die. Leon was too exhausted to even think about
what had just occurred. It was all a
dream most likely anyway. At this
moment though, he had what he wanted. D
lay willingly in his arms, and it didn’t feel as wrong as Leon had
imagined. Leon chuckled, not quite
sanely. It was funny that the guy in
the dress, with no genitalia whatsoever, had been the one to fuck Leon… or
whatever that was.
So did
this mean he wasn’t gay? It wasn’t like
he had slept with a guy… not really.
Had he?
Fuck
it. Leon sighed contentedly and let his
eyes slide shut, joining D in sweet slumber.

“Leon…”
“Nnngh”
“Leon…”
~Big
Bro?~
“Leon,
wake your lazy ass up.”
“Nngh…
Jill? Z’at you? Did I get shot again?”
CHOMP!!!
“OW! GODDAMN FUCKING GOAT!”
~Tet-chan,
that wasn’t nice.~
“Well
it’s about time.”
Leon
rubbed his leg, glaring moodily at the people around him. How the fuck did he get here? All he remembered was sitting down on the
couch to wait for D in an empty parlor.
Now, the place was noisy as usual, with the various animals glaring at
him or attempting to clamor all over him.
The smell of incense once again filled the air with its acrid smell and
Chris and Pon-chan were busy cutting slices of cake for everyone. The goat glared at Leon from underneath the
couch and Jill was still staring at Leon, worry turning to anger, before she
smacked him on the head.
“Ow! What the hell was that for?”
“For
making us worry!” Jill put her hands on
her hips and shook her head. “Honestly
Leon, if you were that tired, you could have just told me. You didn’t even answer your phone. I was worried sick and so was Chris! If D hadn’t found you and called us, we
might have reported you missing!”
“Well
excuse me! If I had known you’d be all
freaked out after a couple of hours, I would have friggin’ called you!”
~Leon’s
grumpy after a nap.~ Pon-chan said,
giggling. Chris nodded. Leon only growled.
“Leon,
you slept here the whole night!”
“What??”
“And
tracked mud into my parlor, and got dirt all over my coffee table! Honestly, I regret the day I ever gave you
a key.”
“Who
asked you!” Leon mumbled grumpily. ‘though I have been pretty tired lately’ he
admitted to himself, watching the bane of his existence, Count Holier than
Thou, set tea out for everyone.
“Besides! I have some questions
to ask you!”
“I
already took care of it Leon. She didn’t
even buy the snake from here”
“Yes,” D
said. “Tragic though that the animal
will have to be destroyed. Is there no
other way?”
“Strangely
enough, the snake is missing. It must
have gotten out somehow. We can’t find
a trace of it though. Even the dogs
couldn’t find it.”
“Is that
so? How scary! I’d hate to hear about one of our fine
police officers meeting the same fate s that unfortunate model.” D smirked at Leon, who stuttered and glared.
“Well,
fortunately there are only a coupla guys stupid enough to fall asleep on the
job.” Jill said, sitting down next to
Leon and elbowing him.
“Real
funny Jill. You’re just a hoot.” Leon said, stretching. God, every inch of his body hurt! He felt like he’d been hit by a bus. That’s what he got for sleeping on this
pansy ass couch instead of going home and going to bed. It was all D’s god damn fault.
“That a
new dress D?” Leon asked crankily,
smirking when he got the angered huff he desired. D’s chain was so easy to pull.
“For the
last time, Detective. This is not a
dress. This is perfectly fitting attire
for a man.”
“Jeeze
Leon, you’re such a jerk sometimes.
Don’t listen to him, Count. He
thinks mustard stains are a fashion statement.”
~grrr
grrr~
D let a
small smile play upon his lips as he watched his Detective fight off various
angry pets defending his honor. Leon
squawked in protest, pushing them away, and then crossed his arms and sat back,
pouting. Such a fleeting creature, the
human, but life nonetheless. Leon now
carried D’s seed. It would incubate
deep inside of his body, waiting for life.
Eventually, Leon would die, and the seed would feast on his flesh in
order to grow, bringing forth the next Kami in their line. Who knew that such a vile, but addicting
creature would have become D’s mate.
Then again, if the stupid buffoon of a detective had stayed away, none
of this would have happened.
It
saddened D a little, for he had now come as close to experiencing human love as
he ever would, and there was something tragic and beautiful about it, if
inane. D could now see how it might
have driven his Papa crazy. He too had
given in to the sweet draw of human blood and human love, but he would not let
it affect him. Leon would die, and
eventually be just a distant memory.
D’s child would live on, eventually becoming the next Count D to run the
shop. In a way, Leon would stay forever
in D’s memory because of this.
But D was
not a creature of time, and this small amusement of his would pass, he was
sure. He would not fall to this
dangerous creature as so many of his kind had before him. Calling his angry Toutetsu off of Leon, he
leaned down, proffering a cup.
“Tea,
Detective?”
