This is a special request fic for Hiso-chan! It will
be a short, fluff piece about the unusual pairing of Mime & Shun. In case
you don't know who Mime is, he is one of the God Warriors from the Asgard
Chapter and fights both Shun and Ikki. He plays a harp as his method of
weapon, like Sorrento does in Poseidon with his flute. Mime is built like
Shun, slender and pretty and his name is pronounced Mee-may, not mime like the
street performers. So here it is, there will be a lemon in next chapter or
two! Disclaimer: I don't own Saint Seiya.

Sweet Melody
That melodic sound could not be expelled from
his head. Even after the Asgard battle, he could hear the soft waves of emotion
flowing from Mime’s harp. Mime’s song was a simple cry, one that Shun could not
deny. A powerful weapon, it was also tuned to Mime’s emotions, amplifying his
need for acceptance, his need for care.
Shun sat up in his bed, not able to fall asleep
again because his thoughts constantly drifted onto Mime. The beautiful,
delicate strawberry blond had haunted his memories with soft music lulling him always,
even though no one else could hear it, it played on and on in Shun’s head.
The moon outside offered a little light as Shun
stood from his bed, padding across the floor to grab a long sleeve shirt. The
temperature had dropped considerably, even though it was unusual for the
season. It was yet another side effect since battling the God Saints in
Asgard’s frozen tundra. Whenever he thought of Mime, he could feel a chill wash
over his body.
Pulling the long sleeve shirt over his head,
Shun wrapped his arms around himself and headed back to bed, stopping at the
window for a quick glance at the moon. Staring into the night sky, Shun
whispered sadly, “Mime.”

Hilda prayed at her usual spot, requesting that
Odin keep the ice caps from melting and ultimately protecting the world. She
ended with her newly added prayer, begging for the lives of the God Warriors
that had been lost in a battle unworthy of their sacrifice. She had been
possessed and ordered them to fight for her, to die for her. And they had,
every last one of them.
Tears poured down her cheeks as she stood and
headed back to her palace. The only one left was her sister Freya, who had lost
her only love, Hagen, in a fight against Athena’s Saints. If she could bring
back the God Saints for her sister and their own lives, she would gladly give
hers in return.
The waters rumbled around her, causing her to
stop. She turned to face the icy ocean, gasping at the sight before her. Odin
took form in the water, rising into an ice statue, towering her small frame.
Hilda dropped to her knees, bowing before her god.
“Rise Hilda.” Odin’s voice boomed and she rose
to her feet.
“Odin-sama.” Hilda could not believe her eyes.
“You’re prayers have been heard. The lives of
your loyal Saints shall be returned for you would never put them in such peril
without the aid of an evil force governing your body. However, their lives are
their own. They may choose their own path. Do you agree to this?” Odin spoke
loudly.
“Hai, Odin-sama. And I, shall give my life to
them after they have returned.” Hilda cried, thankful that they would receive
their second chance.
“No, you shall live Hilda. Your life is not
required for theirs. Honor them, honor their wishes and know that they will
always be loyal to you, their Queen.” Odin then broke apart, splashing into the
turbulent sea.
Hilda ran back to the palace, tears blinding
her as she rushed to tell her sister of the news. Their men would return to
them,
Siegfried and
Hagen, the others! It was more than she could have ever wished for. “Freya!”
Hilda called out, tromping through the snow at record speed.

Shun woke in the morning, stretching his arms
and yawning. The sun was up and he was feeling different somehow, but could not
put his finger on it. He rose and proceeded to get ready for the day, showering
and dressing. It was not until he pulled on his shoes that he figured out what
was different. The music he always heard, Mime’s soulful prose, was gone.
***
The welcoming home party lasted into the early
morning, everyone elated to be reunited with one another. Hagen had whisked
Freya away early on, claiming he would not miss another opportunity to have
her. They had all cheered when he dropped to one knee, asking for her hand in
marriage shortly after being revived from death.
Mime had watched the scene with interest.
Everyone knew that Hagen and Freya loved each other, just as
Siegfried and
Hilda shared a similar love. He was intrigued to see what Siegfried would do
after Hagen’s public declaration of love. Their blue eyed leader only smiled
and whispered something in Hilda’s ear, garnering a deep blush from the Queen.
Everyone had someone. Fenril had his wolves,
Aleberich and Thor had women on their arm, Cyd was busy catching up with his
long lost twin brother, Bud. Mime noticed he was the only one sitting alone, in
more pain than the rampant ecstasy from his new life. He was alone, just like
always and it left a bitter taste in his mouth.
He rose and slipped away unnoticed, hardly
caring if anyone did see him leave. They were all happy while he was suffering
immensely. Just before he died, Phoenix had shown him the truth about his
father. Mime winced and headed back to his room, still finely kept in the short
time he had been deceased.
Once settled in his room, he added a log to the
fire that burned day in and day out, slowly disrobing in front of the flames.
He checked his body for scars, battle wounds and any discrepancies. However, it
was exactly as it had been before he died and before the battle with Andromeda
and Phoenix. A childhood scar was etched into his knee, one on his lower back
from sparring. Yet, none of the wounds sustained in his last battle were
present, as if it never happened, as if he never died.
“Andromeda,” Mime whispered, looking over his
shoulder to glance down his nude backside. The small, green haired saint had
occupied much of his thoughts since his return to his body. It was strange,
considering it was actually Phoenix that ended his life, but he could not shake
the innocent image of Shun out of his mind. That lovely boy had been convinced
of his purity, simply because his chains sensed no malicious intent from him.
How wrong he was, yet how very right as well.
Mime despised killing, especially after
bringing his own adopted father down. He winced again, this time pushing the
thoughts of his father away, turning them back to Shun. The firelight danced on
his milky white skin as he reached for a blanket and draped it over his
shoulders.
He pondered Andromeda, gazing at him with those
wide, emerald green eyes and purity. Mime was usually attracted to more
masculine men, like Ikki or Hagen, but Shun was a radiant vision of beauty that
could not be overlooked. Glancing down, Mime cracked a smile to see his body
reacting to his thoughts. He was very much attracted to Andromeda. That much
was obvious.
Mime sat cross legged on the furry rug in front
of the fire, the blanket draped about his shoulders and began relieving himself
of his new problem. He silently wished he had thought of this hours ago as a
way to celebrate his return instead of attending the party with everyone else,
this was much more fun and much more wicked. He wanted that boy’s innocence,
needed to feel it, bathe in it, inhale Andromeda’s essence, purity and goodness.
Mime rushed to find his climax, stroking
himself with precision and determination. Shun’s slender frame writhed
underneath him, lips caught in a passionate kiss, pumping faster and harder.
Mime released with a guttural moan, throwing his head back and clenching his
eyes shut. Curling up on the soft rug, he made a decision; he had to see him
again.
