Disclaimer: I do not own the anime series Rockman.EXE, Rockman.EXE Axess, or Rockman.EXE Stream (or any variation of the \"Megaman NT Warrior\" series, or \"Battle Network\" games). If I did, I would have used the money made off it all to invent the PET technology, and had Rockman all to myself. ^.^ As you might know, Rockman (or Megaman) is originally property of Capcom Inc., and the anime series (on which I\'m basing this fic) is the intellectual property of Shogakukan.
Also, just to disappoint you English speaking fanboys and fangirls out there\' I\'ll go with the Japanese character names. In case you\'re new to this shit, here\'s a list of the names:

Protoman - Blues
Mayl - Meiru
Roll - Roll

Chapter 0 – King\'s Play
Somewhere in the Cyber World

A voice resounded through empty space, bearing in it the reassured prowess of a person in full control, twisting the intangible darkness all around.
\"He will not be able to stop me this time. This is elegance, perfection, on a level that accursed kid will never be able to comprehend...and now, when he\'s severed from the true source of his talents...\" it continued, snarling words of success as if to assure the owner: \"...chances are nobody will be able to realize what has happened, before it\'s far too late. Valkyrie!\"
There was a stir in the darkness, and seconds later, another voice was added to cyber-cosmos: \"Yes, Commander?\" the voice, female, echoed in-between the barren walls, making the location seem even more twisted and lifeless than before: \"My trusted servant, Valkyrie...make sure this ends up where it should. And have your brethren stand by to engage the second phase at my command...\"
The sound of rustling, sounding as if it was broadcasted due to the silence and the magnitude of the construction in which the two conspirators were hiding, ensued: \"Right away...\" the latter, slithering voice said; there was yet another stir in the darkness. And then, there was silence.
Until, that was, a low unpleasant laughter pierced through space, becoming louder and louder until it kept residence in every byte of the construction, and all over the cyber world could be felt its repercussions. The first carefully calculated move had been launched...now, it was time to see if he could indeed make the tides turn on the chess board of fate.
