~Eternal Connection~

‘Oi kid! Daisuke!?’ Dark called his young partner, but
he just wasn’t getting any response. ‘Shit! I told you not to
try and fight Krad by yourself! I know you’re not dead, so answer me!’
All Dark got was a short whimpering from the nearly dead boy. ‘Great!
You’re too weak for me to change over. I guess I’ll never get to
ask you what we were hoping would help end all this.’

Krad landed gracefully on the floor towering over Daisuke with
a ki blast in his hand. “It’s a pity that you aren’t strong…but
there is only one strong person that I know of and he isn’t even able
to do anything about this…stupid mortal.” Krad laughed at the helpless
boy and then looked at Daisuke’s eyes when they slowly opened to see his
own end. The eyes that appeared before Krad weren’t the ones of the current
helpless boy Niwa Daisuke, but were the dark eyes of his immortal enemy and
other half, Dark Mosey.

Krad suddenly yelled in pain and grabbed his head, “No!
Don’t Satoshi! I have them! Why must you always do this!?” Krad
disappeared and Satoshi appeared before Daisuke/Dark hybrid. The look in the
eye’s of Dark was that of a ‘don’t even touch the boy, you
sadistic son-of-a-bitch!’ Satoshi smiled softly at Dark/Daisuke and closed
Daisuke’s eyelids over Dark’s hate filled eyes. Satoshi picked Daisuke
up of the cold ruined building floor not really surprised that Daisuke was so
light. He figured it was part of being the other half of a famous thief that
was the reason. Satoshi carried Daisuke out into the night air and looked at
Daisuke’s moon lite face.

‘You love this boy, don’t you?’ Satoshi looked at
the sleeping boy in his arms. The boy that no longer had to worry about dying
on such a beautiful night.

*So what if I do! It has nothing to do with you!* Satoshi sighed softly
as the cool breeze blew Daisuke’s hair around slightly. *I know he’ll
never return the feelings I have for him, we’re enemies because of you
and Dark Mosey*

Deep within Satoshi, Krad smiled lightly. ‘Yeah, Mosey and mines fault.’

Daisuke woke up the next morning in a dark room that wasn’t
his. Daisuke sat up and looked around the room and came upon Satoshi sitting
in a fabricated chair with a blanket covering him. Daisuke was confused, he
and Satoshi were supposed to be enemies, so way was he at Satoshi’s house?

“Hiwatari-kun?” Daisuke said but to himself. Satoshi stirred in
his sleep then woke up slowly. Satoshi rubbed the sleep from his eyes and focused
on his surroundings or rather Daisuke. “Niwa-kun, you’re wake. You
must be hungry? I’ll go make you some breakfast.” Satoshi grabbed
his glasses from the bedside table and left the room without giving Daisuke
a chance to ask anything. ‘Daisuke, how are you feeling?’
Daisuke yawned.

*I feel fine,* Daisuke gave his body a quick look over, *there
isn’t a scratch on me*

‘I say we get out of here now. Krad could come back or Satoshi might
try something…I don’t trust that boy even if he did save your life.’
Daisuke was shocked, why would Hiwatari Satoshi try to save him of all people…they
were enemies after all, weren’t they? Sure, Daisuke had befriended him
but every time Satoshi turned him away. *Satoshi did…what?*

‘Satoshi saved…’

*…saved me.* Daisuke finished Dark’s answer without realising
it because he was still in disbelief.

‘We should get out of here Daisuke; he could be coming back any minute.’

*No. I must thank him for what he did…I don’t know why he saved
me but I’m thankful and I’m got to let him know*

The bedroom door opened and Satoshi walked in with a tray with
a warm breakfast on it. Daisuke was about to get out of the bed to help Satoshi
but he stopped him. “Stay there, you most likely won’t be able to
walk. It’s just some of the late side effects of the Emofen stone but
don’t worry it’s only temporary.” Daisuke sighed; he didn’t
know how his grandfather, mother and father could take it if they found out
that he wasn’t able to use his legs.

Oh shit, mum’s probably worried about me. “Ah…would I be able
to call my mother Hiwatari-kun, she’s probably worried about me.”
Satoshi placed the tray on Daisuke’s lap and looked up at the boy.

“I’ve already called your family…last night. I said that I
found you by the park and that you had fallen asleep so I brought you back to
my private house and that it was best not to disturb you. They seemed fine with
that.” Daisuke nodded. At least his family wouldn’t be worried.
“Umm…Hiwatari-kun, what’s the Emofen stone?” Satoshi
sat down in the chair that he had fallen asleep in the night before while watching
over Daisuke. “The Emofen stone is an extremely rare stone that not many
people have heard. There is only one in the world and a person can’t just
find it, the stone choose who will have it. I was just lucky it choose me.”
Daisuke sat up in the bed and ate the breakfast that Satoshi had made for him
while the blue eyed boy explained. “The stone is also said to have another
ability but I don’t know what it is and it doesn’t really bother
me. This is the first time I have ever used it before and hopefully my last.”
Daisuke’s face went slightly pale for some unknown reason. “Niwa-kun,
are you okay?” Daisuke quickly swallowed the piece of food that was in
his mouth and nodded.

“I’m fine. Hiwatari-kun, why did you save me, why didn’t you
let Krad kill me? Why did you use the Emofen stone on ‘me’?”
Satoshi stood up and removed the empty tray from Daisuke’s lap, walking
over to the door he turned to answer, “I’m not ready for you to
die yet.” Satoshi left the room and head down stairs to place the dishes
in the kitchen.

Chapter 1 done. This story is different from my others.
They style I write in, the way the formate of the story is done in. I quite
like it ^_^ but unfortunately I’ve tried to write like this with my other
stories and had no luck.

Well anyway, review people and I’ll try to write
the next chapter of this story and my others real soon. ^_^
