Title:
The Prophecy of Genbu: Second Arc
Summary: The story of Genbu’s new priestess and her chosen warriors carries
on. Five years have passed since the
fateful arrival of Cassandra Terry into the world of the book. Now that she and her warriors have grown
stronger, the Suzaku no Miko has appeared.
What does this mean for the Genbu Shichi Seishi? Will their priestess leave them sooner than
they feared? Or will perhaps the
heavens grant them a miracle and allow them to keep her all their days?
Rating: NC-17 (but not till later)
Warnings: Um…well, there are a lot of them, how about that?
Author’s Note: Well, I’ve decided to go ahead and do this. I’m writing part 2 of the Prophecy of
Genbu. You NEED to read the first half;
otherwise you will not know what’s going on.
This is a continuation of my first fic, sort of like a second season if
you will. This will begin at the start
of the Fushigi Yuugi anime (no I haven’t read the manga, sue me) and will
continue to its end. While there will
be major canon manipulation, this is why the story is AU, and it will be about
the team of Genbu warriors for the most part.
Now, as a note, since Cassandra is older than all of the other
priestesses, she has other issues to face.
I’m going to try to explore those a bit more. So here goes and thanks for reading!
Disclaimer: I own NOTHING of the Fushigi Yuugi universe. I only take credit for inventing this new
team of Genbu warriors. But all the
ideas and the universe remain the exclusive property of Watase Yuu-sensei. Thank you very much.
Chapter One
Old Story, New Characters
Matthew
Terry sighed as he sat back in his bed and massaged his temples. It was just before seven in the morning and
he’d only just finished the Four Gods of Heaven and Earth. He’d spent the entire night leafing through
its pages and learning of his sister’s incredibly journey. When she had come so close to dying, it had
only hardened his resolve to find out more about this book. He didn’t like where it was going and
especially didn’t like the fact that the previous priestess had died when she’d
summoned the beast god. Well, her
dad murdered her…but still, same thing.
The point is she’s dead. And
Cassie could be next. Matt’s mind
was swimming with questions as he mounted his bike an hour later and went back
to the library. He would keep his
promise to Cassandra because he didn’t want to run the risk of her never coming
home. The thought made a lead weight
drop into his stomach and he bit his lower lip as he pulled up into the parking
lot.
“Gotta
make this quick,” he muttered and parked his bike.
Since
it was so early in the morning, the library was nearly empty and Matt met no
one on his way to the restricted documents room. Once there, he pulled out the book and replaced it in the shelves. There.
Back where I found you. But
don’t think this is over for a minute.
I’m not going to let my little sister die. With that, Matt turned and left the library to get some sleep and
some food so he could come back that afternoon and start his research. The hours passed by quickly and soon enough
he found himself back outside the library and immediately began to investigate
what he had learned about the book and its origins. Once he had his books in place, he went to get himself a juice
and smiled at the young girl who was standing in front of the machines. She looks about Cassie’s age when she was
first taken into the book…he got his juice and was halfway down the stairs
when something caught the corner of his eye.
What in the hell?
A red,
glittering phoenix appeared before the young girl, wings spread wide, and
trilled sweetly. Matt dropped his juice
as the bird led her up the stairs to the room that housed the Four Gods of
Heaven and Earth. He watched her brown
uniform and pink ribbons disappear around the corner and could only stand there
in shock. The red phoenix…that’s
Suzaku if I remember right…which means…and a few minutes later a young girl
with blonde hair and the same brown uniform came running up the stairs calling
her friend’s name.
“Miaka? Miaka, where are you?”
“In
here Yui! You won’t believe this, but
the strangest thing just happened to me.
A bird came flying out of that book…”
The
door closed behind them and Matt felt his knees give out and he sat down on the
stairs. So…Cassie was right. If I had kept the book, then Suzaku would
never have appeared. And then…he
glanced back as he heard the surprised cries and saw the brilliant red light
that appeared from under the crack in the door. The story couldn’t go on.
Cassie woulda been stuck there forever. He sighed and massaged his forehead. It seemed as though everything was happening according to
plan. All of the pieces of the puzzle called
Fate were falling together. Or so it
seemed…
“Seiryu! What is the meaning of this, bringing your
priestess into the story along with mine?
We’re already ripping the fabric of the book’s world by having Genbu’s
new priestess there, but this could very well destroy it!”
The
voice belonged to the crimson-haired Suzaku Seikun and he trembled in rage at
the calm, blue-haired Seiryu Seikun, who wore a smug smirk on his face. He knew he had both Genbu and Suzaku
now. His priestess would triumph over
both of theirs and he would finally become the strongest of the gods. While Nakago hadn’t been able to win over
the Genbu Shichi Seishi five years ago, the man was now in full control of his
powers and was a powerful pawn in their game.
“Calm
yourself Suzaku. If Genbu’s actions in
bringing the girl Cassandra into this world haven’t destroyed it yet, then I
doubt mine will. Besides…I have waited
too long for this moment and I will not let it pass by.”
Suzaku’s
red eyes blazed and he released a mighty screech that shook the palace around
them. The two gods had been meeting in
the center house of the heavens, where they could view all things in their
world. Suzaku’s screech, however,
called forth Genbu and he frowned as he saw the two of them bracing for a
fight. Such childish antics. Sometimes I wonder if Byakko is really the
youngest.
“Enough,”
he commanded lazily and walked forward to the viewing orb.
“Who
are you to command us Genbu?” Suzaku demanded.
“Calm
your fiery passions, Suzaku, I shall deal with this,” and Genbu waved his hand
over the orb, setting in motion the events that would bring the young girl who
was destined to be Seiryu’s priestess back to her world. “There, it is done. Only Suzaku’s priestess shall remain. However, there is the matter of your
treachery, Seiryu. I will not tolerate
interference from you. Your priestess shall
have her chance to enter our world, but not before. Understand?”
Seiryu
bristled, his fangs flashing in his anger.
But he calmed slowly, his blue eyes never leaving the black ones of his
elder. His expression remained blank as
the silence grew. Eventually, he simply
snarled, turned on his heel, and left.
Suzaku sighed and shook his head before he glanced at Genbu.
“Genbu,
do you think your priestess will be able to accomplish her mission? It has been five years…and she has become a
part of that world…neither Takiko or Suzuno had stayed that long. We do not know the consequences of her being
here for so long. And now that my
priestess has arrived and Seiryu’s is close behind, what do you think will
happen?”
“I may
be the god of strategy and war, Suzaku, but even I do not have control over the
human spirit. The only thing we can do
right now is to wait and see how the pages unfold and move from there. Now, I must return to my palace in the
northern part of the heavens. Will you
remain here?”
“Yes. I want to observe her just for a little
while…”
Genbu
smiled slightly. “Very well. But do not remain so long you neglect your
duties young one.”
Suzaku
nodded distractedly as he sat before the orb and peered into its milky
depths. He was so entranced he didn’t
notice Genbu leave the room. She’s
finally arrived. My priestess. I hope she will bring me as much pride as
Takiko and now Cassandra have brought to Genbu. He watched as young Yuki Miaka met Tamahome, one of her
warriors, and approached the Emperor himself in order to try and obtain
information about her friend Yui. Already
she shows such loyalty and promise. Suzaku
smiled as he observed the happenings in Konan, not knowing he wasn’t the only
one watching the new arrivals with such interest.
From
the parapets of the castle, cloaked in shadow, knelt a man. With black eyes as bottomless and dark as
the shadows he hid in, he watched as the Emperor took Miaka and Tamahome to the
castle and his chest clenched painfully.
He hadn’t been back in Konan since he’d come to mourn his family…and
that had been two years ago. Ever since
then, Namame had taken great pains to avoid his former home. This mission had been a rare thing and one
he and Cassandra argued about for hours.
In the end, he agreed to go.
Ebony hair brushed his eyes but he didn’t bother to push it away. He was too busy trying to record everything
in his mind so that when he reported back to his comrades and Cassandra he
wouldn’t miss anything.
I
see the boy I knew in the man that now rules Konan…Namame’s eyes saddened as he watched
Saihitei move about the palace with such elegance and grace. You would never know that he once flopped
around like a pup in the water. Or that
he’d constantly be tripping over his robes whenever he tried to take a
step. Finally, he could take no
more of the memories and disappeared into the darkness. After all, he had to return to Hokkan and
give his report. This is going to
begin our journey once more. The
arrival of the priestess…then a thought occurred to him. What if she doesn’t need the
Shinzahou? Namame frowned as he
emerged from the darkness into the entryway of the Genbu Shichi Seishi’s
home. The soft soles of his boots made
no sound as he crossed the entryway and headed for the kitchen where Hatsui and
Uruki were playfully arguing in front of the counters.
“You do
realize that you owe me for making dinner tonight, don’t you Uruki?” Hatsui
smirked. “And my price is high.”
“Of
course it is, you’re the best damn cook in the house,” Uruki chuckled and
sidled up next to his lover to whisper something in his ear. Hatsui chuckled and Uruki pulled back. “Is my offer acceptable?”
“More
than acceptable I’d say…” Hatsui’s hand slid down the front of Uruki’s jacket,
unfastening ties as it went.
Namame
rolled his eyes and cleared his throat loudly.
The effect was instant. Hatsui
jerked his hand back as though it was on fire and Uruki was on the other side
of the room faster than the wind. So
predictable. The thought made him
chuckle and he removed his traveling cloak.
“Namame! You’re back! Hey guys!” Uruki shouted.
“Namame’s back from Konan! Get
down here!”
“He’s
back? Bout time! Thought he was gonna stay all day!”
“Iname,
don’t-!”
“Look
out below!”
Not
bothering to listen, Iname vaulted over the second story banister and landed
smoothly on the ground. The smaller
residence that Tokoyami had out in the mountains was seen as an architectural
fiasco. It had two stories rather than
being all one level like most homes in Hokkan were. But it didn’t take up as much room on the grounds, which left
more room for training and the lovely garden in the back. It suited the residents quite nicely. Iname in particular found its strange
structure amusing and took great pleasure in vaulting over the second story
landing and making the jump to the floor just to scare Cassandra.
“You
idiot!” she scolded and slapped his shoulder once she came down. “You could have broken your neck!”
“Aw
Cassandra, I’ve been doing that for years and every time I’ve come out of it
with my neck nicely in tact.”
“That’s
not the point and you know it. Now
excuse me,” and she went into the kitchen to give Namame a warm hug. “Welcome home, Namame. You’ve never come back so early, what’s
happened?”
He
simply smiled and pointed to a seat.
“Oh! Yes, sit down please,” Cassandra glanced at
Hatsui, who was preparing a cup of herbal tea, Namame’s favorite.
She
slid into the chair across from Namame as Hatsui brought the man his tea. Urumiya came in and immediately went to warm
his hands in front of the fire. Iname
plopped down next to Uruki and grinned.
“Arthritis
acting up on you old timer?”
“As a
matter of fact, brat, no. I’ve been
outside fixing the hole in the bathing room that allowed all of our heat to
escape,” he grumbled and also poured some tea before he sat down.
“Thank
you Papa,” Cassandra chuckled as Urumiya flushed slightly and cleared his
throat. “Now, Namame, what news do you
bring from Konan?”
“The
Suzaku no Miko has arrived.”
Dead
silence followed that statement. The tension
built to an almost tangible level before it was finally broken.
“Are
you certain, Namame?” Urumiya asked gravely.
He
nodded and sipped from his tea. At his
confirmation, the group broke into talk.
Some of it was excited, some was apprehensive, but Cassandra was
silent. Her hands were wrapped around
her teacup and her lower lip trembled. So…Matty
kept his promise. The pages of the book
are once more turning. Where will our
journey take us this time? She
excused herself and made her way out to the back garden. Iname looked up, wanting to follow, but
Urumiya grabbed his arm and shook his head.
Defeated for now, the younger man plopped back into his chair.
Cassandra
wandered outside and went beyond the property to a small open-air bath that was
nestled in a small clearing in the mountain.
It was one of the reasons Toko chose that location for his retreat. She sank down to her knees at the edge of
the pool and trailed her fingers through the wonderfully warm water. Since she was so close, Cassandra didn’t
feel the cold around her as much and sighed.
What’s going to happen to me now?
What will happen to the Suzaku no Miko?
What’s she even like?
Cassandra rose and slipped off her clothes, letting them pile off to the
side before she glided gracefully into the water and sighed, sinking in up to
her chin. Steam rose from the surface
of the pool in graceful spirals as she tried to gather her thoughts as Urumiya
had taught. It was so difficult to
focus though. For some reason, the back
of her neck prickled and it felt like she was being watched.
A twig
snapped in the forest.
“What
the-?” Cassandra whirled around and frowned.
“I don’t like this…someone’s out there.”
The
only question was, who? The area where
they had settled was remote. No one ventured
this far into the area near Mt. Koku-zan.
Not even the tradesmen and farmers came so far up the mountains. Cassandra strained and her eyes narrowed. The forest is too quiet. There was no sound from the trees. Even the birds that usually sang in the
night were silent. A flash of blue
caught her vision and she rose in the pool, lunging for the dagger she kept in
her clothes. Before she could call and
raise the alarm someone came out from the forest. The broad body was familiar, as was the slow confidence that it
moved with, but the eyes…the eyes were what stood out the most. I see those eyes in my nightmares. How could I forget them? She kept her dagger in hand but didn’t
call for her warriors. No. Cassandra had to deal with this alone.
“I
didn’t think the General of Kutou would pay a visit to little old me in the
dead of night just for a friendly chat,” her voice was calm but with an
unmistakable steel edge. “What are you
doing here, Nakago? I thought we kicked
you back to Kutou in disgrace five years ago.”
The
blonde-haired man hid a smile behind the cloth that covered the lower half of
his face. He was in full armor as he
approached the small outdoor bath. Not
a sound came from him, not even from his boots as they crushed the grass beneath
his feet. For five years he had
remained in his kingdom, served his Emperor, and plotted revenge. Nakago was never one to let insults against
him get away and this girl was an insult to his pride. To think that he had allowed her to best
him. It was unforgivable. While he had been eager to launch a
counterstrike against her, over the years the man had learned patience. He also learned to strike exactly where it
would do the most harm. Lady
Cassandra, you certainly have changed since we last met. She was a rose in full bloom and yet
remained untouched. I shall have to
remedy that. Now that the Suzaku no
Miko has arrived, I cannot allow this girl to exist. It will be simple to eliminate the other priestess. This one requires more finesse.
“You’re
looking well, Lady Cassandra,” he commented with a small smirk. “I must say, the sight of you in your bath
is one that would stir any man’s senses.
To what do I owe the pleasure?”
It was
only then that Cassandra realized she was naked. In front of Nakago.
Dripping water down her bare skin.
Shit. This was not how
I pictured confronting him after all this time. Nakago was bad for her.
While she did love Iname…he didn’t make her feel like this man did. Yes there was passion with her warrior, but
with Nakago it was something entirely different. He made parts of her tingle in the most disturbing ways. Just a look from his piercing blue eyes and
Cassandra’s knees turned to jelly. It
was easy to see that he could have any pick of woman. Yet, she couldn’t help but want him. Stupid idiot. Nakago
is trouble, he’s the enemy, and you’ve come too far to allow your hormones to
rule you. She chided herself even
as she watched him cautiously. Beyond
stepping out of the foliage, he hadn’t moved.
She was starting to wonder if she should approach him when he decided
that for her.
“May I
join you?” and he removed his helmet, releasing his long blonde hair. “Or is this a private bath?”
“Don’t
play with me, Nakago, I’m not that little girl anymore,” her voice was hard as
he removed the cloth that covered the lower half of his face. “And you’re certainly not that boy anymore.”
“I was
never a boy.”
Cassandra
had just insulted him, but rather than be annoyed by it, as he would have been
in the past, it merely intrigued him.
Soi was suffocating, but amusing to toy with, and the women he otherwise
took to his bed were boring. The Genbu
no Miko had spit and fire. I will
enjoy extinguishing your fire, priestess, and bending you to my will. Nakago continued to remove his armor, one
piece at a time, as he slowly began to build up a barrier between them. There was no sense in allowing her warriors
to come over and interfere. At least,
not until he set his trap. He’d reached
his shirt and trousers when he noticed something. She hadn’t sounded the alarm.
In fact, she hasn’t taken her eyes off of me. Nakago knew he was desirable. He also knew that he fascinated girls like
Cassandra. It was the charisma that
exuded from him like a perfume. With
that, he always managed to catch his pretty prey.
“You’re
not crying for your warriors, priestess,” his shirt fluttered to the ground and
he approached the bath. “Very foolish
on your part.”
“I can
take you, Nakago,” she retorted, dagger still in her hand. “I proved that when I was just a girl.”
But she
was letting him get too close. That
much was for certain. Still, there was
something about him that Cassandra couldn’t deny. Nakago was a man unlike all of those she’d known in her entire
life. And when he slid into the pool,
she didn’t raise a finger to stop him.
Wary of what he was planning, wondering what his move was going to be,
Cassandra opted to wait. Part of it was
purely because she wanted to get a better look at the half-naked General. The other part was she didn’t know which way
he would go. Would he strike when she
least expected it? Would he use his
powers to crush her? Or worse yet,
would he try to overpower her? Although
Cassandra had built up muscle, Nakago was a man far older than she and had gained
far more muscle mass than she. It would
be a contest she wouldn’t win. That’s
when she realized his hands had grabbed her wrists and pinned them to the small
of her back as he loomed over her naked form.
Closer than a man had ever been…
“Nakago,
if you don’t release me, I’m going to have to hurt you,” she said pleasantly as
she tested his grip.
No
good. He’s got me too tight. I won’t be able to force my way free. Her
microphone was in her clothes, which was inconvenient, but Cassandra didn’t lunge
for it yet. This encounter was turning
out to be more fun than she thought.
Nakago’s eyes never left her body.
They trailed over every inch of her flushed, damp skin, and then raised
back to her face.
“You
certainly have changed, Cassandra. I
wonder, has your decision to go through with this mission changed as well? Especially now that you know what you have
to give up to succeed.”
“I have
invested over five years in this, Nakago.
I refuse to back down now.
Especially not to you. That
would be a bit cowardly of me. To stand
up to you before only to bend to you now.
And we both know,” she flexed her hands in his grip to no avail. “I’m not one to bend to anyone.”
“Indeed…and
are you still in love with that boy Iname?”
“Yes.”
There
was a brief pause as Nakago considered this.
“Such a pity.”
“Oh
really? And why is that?”
“A boy
like him could never appreciate a woman such as you. He has no idea what lovemaking is all about. I, on the other hand…” he leaned in close,
calculating his every movement. Every
touch, every breath, was timed to the minute.
“I know exactly how to treat a fully blossomed rose.”
That’s
when he kissed her. When her cheeks
were flushed and she was trembling in his arms. She is at her weakest now.
I wonder how far I can push before she comes out of her trance. Deciding to test this theory, Nakago
devoured her soft lips with more enjoyment than he had in a long while. Soi didn’t kiss and he refused to lay his
lips on another woman’s. Cassandra,
however, had always fascinated him ever since her arrival. In her, he found someone who wasn’t afraid
of him and it just made him want to torment her until she collapsed in fear and
submission. It was Nakago’s deepest
desire to see this…woman…broken at his feet.
Only then would he be able to truly say he defeated the Genbu no Miko
and her warriors. Victory wouldn’t be
complete without it. And as he kissed
her, his free hand stole over her body as the hot water rose and steamed around
them.
Cassandra
felt dizzy, but she assumed it was just from the bath. It couldn’t have been from Nakago’s
kiss. She wouldn’t let it get that
far. But oh God above did he know how
to set her body on fire. Even with her
arms pinned, there was nothing keeping her from pressing against his front and
feeling the hard, smooth muscle there.
Nakago was dangerous and after years of being safe…Cassandra craved the
danger that this man brought with him.
She didn’t stop him as his hand roved to her breasts, caressing and
squeezing gently. Nor did she do anything
to stop him from strumming her nipples into full hardness in the chilly night
air. What could she have done when the
flames of passion started to lick at her feet?
It was always like this…she succumbed without a fight for a man with the
strength and ruthlessness of Nakago and yet it was Iname that held her
heart. Wasn’t it? Oh great Genbu, what am I going to
do? I can’t be torn up about this. Hell, I shouldn’t even be doing this! But when he touches me like this, like a
real woman, I just can’t fight him.
Callused
skin brushed against soft, supple feminine flesh and Nakago suppressed the urge
to take her immediately against the wall of the bath. But that would spoil his plan.
Finally, he broke the contact of their lips. As Cassandra gasped for breath, he studied her, making note of
what made her pant and what made the heat rise in her cheeks. Once he had that information stored away,
Nakago dove and began to place biting kisses along her neck and shoulders. Shoulders with feminine slope but with the
muscles that came from hard combat training.
How you amuse me, priestess.
Perhaps when I rule Kutou, I shall keep you as a concubine. The thought was a pleasing one and Nakago
couldn’t stop himself. He sank his
teeth into her neck to leave a large, vivid mark. One that she wouldn’t be able to hide easily. Hearing Cassandra cry out made a shaft of
arousal climb in his blood and he shuddered.
Not in some time had a woman made him ache with desire so quickly. He hadn’t lost control of this game
though. Never would Nakago lose
control.
As he
left the mark on her neck, his chi began to feed off of the power that was
rising from her skin. He could feel it,
black energy laced with pale silver, and it fed his own power. That’s it little priestess. Give me your chi and I shall become
stronger. The manipulation of
energy during sex was a skill that Nakago had mastered years ago, when he’d
first begun taking women to his bed. It
was one of the ways he became so powerful.
As long as he could feed off of the energy of his bed partner, he always
had the advantage. Sure enough,
Cassandra soon became more lax in his arms and he smirked as he released her
arms. Little mouse, falling right
into my trap. Your warriors haven’t
been the best of teachers. They
should have warned you to beware men like myself. It was almost too simple and Nakago was slightly disappointed
that she would fall so quickly. In
fact, when he started to back her towards the edge of the wall, she readily complied.
Water
lapped at their waists as Nakago pressed the Genbu no Miko against the edge of
the bath and bent her back slightly so he could have more access to her
body. Just as his hand strayed to the
apex between her legs, fingers curling around her soft hair, he felt a dagger
at his neck. Impressive. I was under the impression she was
completely under my influence. He
raised blonde eyebrows to Cassandra as she held the wobbling dagger against the
back of his neck. Although her green
eyes had darkened and clouded with lust, apparently her mind remained clear
enough to see through his façade. He
chuckled darkly and brushed her soft curls again.
“Nakago,
I’m warning you…touch me there and I draw your blood.”
“Brave
words, priestess. But can you back them
up?”
Gliding
through the warm water, his fingers found their destination and stroked the bud
of her pleasure. Cassandra cried out
softly and the knife wobbled. Just
enough so Nakago could knock it aside.
The weapon made a soft splash as it fell and he smirked as he returned
to his conquest. Cassandra’s eyelashes
fluttered as she shook out her wrist.
He’d struck her hard enough for it to go numb. But there was something else that frightened her more. It was the jolt of ecstasy that had gone
through her veins at his touch. Just
the barest brush of his fingers had her trembling. She didn’t want to give Nakago that much power over her. Especially not when they were playing such a
dangerous game. Nakago was still
watching her with cold, clear blue eyes.
They weren’t even tinged with arousal, and yet she felt the evidence
pressing against her thigh through his pants.
“This
can’t go on, Nakago,” she managed to find her voice and forced it to remain
steady. “I am your enemy and the Genbu
no Miko. It is my mission to summon
Genbu. So either kill me or leave me
be, but stop this game you’re playing.
If you return to Hokkan after this night, I will kill you.”
He
chortled. “Lady Cassandra, I highly
doubt you could kill me.”
“Oh
really?”
“You do
not have the blood of another person’s life on your hands. For all your training, you remain a blood
innocent. The moment you kill someone
in cold blood is the moment you become just like me.”
“I will
never be like you,” she spat acidly. “Never.”
“We
shall see. But for now I think I shall
take my leave. I grow weary of this
game when I know nothing will come of it,” and he backed off suddenly,
gathering his clothing as he did.
Cassandra
felt cold, abandoned, and she stared in blatant shock as the man began to
fasten his armor over his clothes as if nothing had happened. What the hell? First he kisses me like a lover and now he’s just leaving? Although every piece of good sense she
had screamed this was a good thing, she was pissed. Bastard! You can’t
just start something and then walk off!
Cassandra hauled herself out of the bath and wrapped herself in her
robes as Nakago finished settling his helmet in place. Stalking around the edge of the pool, she
punched him the chest.
“You’re
a bastard, Nakago. Get out of Hokkan
and never come near me again. I grow
tired of you tormenting me with what I can’t have,” that’s when it dawned on
her. “Damn it, I’ve been playing into
your hands this entire time! How could
I have been so stupid? Get out! Get out, Nakago!”
He
merely sneered as she faced him down.
She was no match for him if she had just figured out a small part of his
strategy now. Enjoy your brief
moment of rest, Lady Cassandra. Because
I promise, once the time is right, I will make absolutely certain you will not
be able to summon the beast god.
Still, Nakago was going to leave her with a parting gift. Just something for her to chew on in the
middle of the night when her dreams tormented her. Moving with lightning speed, Nakago seized Cassandra around the
waist and dipped her back. One hand
supported her while the other began to tease the bundle of nerves between her
legs. Immediately, Cassandra’s knees
gave out, and it was all she could do to keep up. In fact, she had to grab hold of Nakago’s breastplate to keep
steady. He drew his long blue cloak
over the two of them and leaned over to brush his lips against her ear.
“Lady
Cassandra, try as you might, you cannot resist this. Yours is a passion untried by any man…and I will know that
passion. Cry out, scream for your
warriors, but know that it is by my hand that you will achieve the peak of
pleasure. And it will haunt you at
night, in your dreams, and so will I.”
He was right, for Cassandra was so
struck by the jolts shooting through her body, she couldn’t register anything
else. It was the first time someone
else had touched her so intimately and Nakago seemed to know exactly what he
was doing. Within moments, he had her
shuddering and gasping in his arms as her first climax took hold. As Nakago pulled his fingers away, he was
satisfied to see they were coated with the evidence of her first release. Calmly, the elder man pulled away and gently
set Cassandra on the cool grass. There
she lay, panting harshly, her tawny hair a golden halo around her head and over
her shoulders. Nakago left in a swirl
of cloth, disappearing as quietly as he had appeared. But as he left, he raised his fingers to his lips and tasted the
sweet release of a virgin. It was
unlike anything a man could experience and having her so helpless in his arms
made Nakago even more determined to crush her.
If only so I can fashion her back together in the image I desire. With that, he mounted his horse nearby and
set off for Kutou, to continue plotting the downfall of both the Suzaku no Miko
and the Genbu no Miko.
So, what do you think? Not bad for a first chapter, eh? :D
And before you ask: Nakago and Cassandra’s acquaintanceship is
complicated at best. There is a reason
for her fascination with him. What that
is, you’ll just have to wait and see!
