Blood Plus: episode 51
Prologue
They sat on the aftermath of the greatest battle in all of time, some would say. On a rain-soaked stage the couple embraced, the war that had plagued them or more than a century was over.
A strange burden was lifted as she fell in to him crying with both sadness and joy. “Haji, you will come back to Okinawa won’t you?”
threading his fingers through her hair he replied, “Of course my queen, I will never leave your side. I love you, and I wish that one day we could be married.”
“Haji?..” untying a silk bag he took out a decorative comb handing it to her before slipping a platinum band on to her ring finger.
“Be my bride, Saya?.” Her eyes welled again with joy tackling him, capturing his lips with hers after chanting, “Yes Haji, I love , I love you so much.”
Almost on cue her brother’s children cried happily reaching out to the two until they were cradled with loving arms.
“Haji, let’s go.” She took his arm before smiling to her other brother giving one last nod of reverence to her sister whispering, “We will give them the life that we should have shared, I promise, Diva my sister.”
Haji glanced back closing his eyes whispering “Arigatou, Diva.”
