Chapter Rating: Adult.... tame...
Part One: Meetings
The door to the shop slammed opened and then shut. Count D knew right away who it was. And what mood the guest was in. Leon did have quite the temper. It made D smile when he thought about how easily he could calm the detective. He made his way to the front room, where the blonde was already sitting down.
"Good evening Detective. You are just in time for tea."
Detective Leon Orcot just grunted and slumped further into the coach.
"Imagine that."
D smiled and poured two cups of warm tea and took his place in his chair across from the coach. That was the way it always was. Leon on the couch, D in his chair so they could look at each other without having to turn. D looked closely at the blonde and sighed. This had been a bad day for poor Leon. He could tell. The man had not yelled or accused him of anything yet. Even Tetsu was leaving Leon alone. And that said a lot.
"Detective. Are you alright?"
Leon sighed and set his empty cup down. If the Count had done nothing else, he had gotten him addicted to tea. He watched as the fair skinned male poured him another cup.
"No. I'm not alright."
D looked up into sad, lost blue eyes and gave a small smile. Sometimes the blonde just cared too much. The human race has always made him curious. This one had gotten his full attention the moment he came through his door.
"Tell me. You know you always can."
Leon nodded and relaxed as the herbs started to take hold of him. He was always more comfortable with D. He had even stopped threatening him and came to him for help instead. This had been one of those times.
"It was bad D. Four girls, two boys. Between the age of 10 and 14. All raped, beaten, tortured and then killed slowly with a knife. Cut to pieces. Shit."
Leon thunked his head against the back of the couch and took in deep breathes. He just couldn't get their faces, no....there wasn't much of those left, but their eyes out of his head. Their eyes had been crying out to him. He felt sick and just wanted to curl up somewhere and.....but no. He couldn't do it. He just couldn't let loose like that. His city needed him to be strong. He needed to be strong for his little brother. The kid may be fourteen years old now and Tetsu and the others were more the happy to keep him safe. But he just had to be the strong one. He had to get over this so he could go back to work.
D smiled sadly and went over to the blonde, sitting down next to him and placing a well-manicured nailed hand on his knee. The Detective didn't even know he had done so, until he spoke softly.
"You are strong Leon. But sometimes it's better to let someone else in and help you. Yes, you have friends that will always be there for you. But that is not what you need now."
Leon looked at the hand, then up into duel colored eyes. He had been fighting an urge to get closer to this male for some time. He wouldn't say he was gay or even bi. But D had always had this effect on him that he could never shake. He had even stopped going out because of it.
"D....you. You called me Leon."
D blinked and then smiled a real smile at his human. Yes, Leon was his the moment the blonde had looked into his eyes. His kind could always tell what was theirs just by one look. And Leon had become his in that first moment. And he had sensed that the human had begun to feel it too. That was why he was willing to put everything out in the open now.
"Yes I did. Are you displeased with me?"
It was Leon's turn to blink. Displeased? Hell, he had been trying to get D to use his name for....well ever! He gave a small smile of his own and placed one of his hands on top of the one D had on his leg.
"No. I'm happy you finally used it."
D smiled almost shyly. He knew Leon was still fighting his inner battle. The detective wasn't sure what to do anymore. Push him away or bring him closer. D would wait and see what the human would do.
Leon watched the expressions and the meanings behind them for some time. He knew D was interested, but he wasn't sure how to make things work. He was never good at this kind of thing. Not even with females. But he had never felt so attached to any female before as he was with D. He was just afraid of doing something wrong.
Of messing up. Looking into those eyes, though, he knew he could never mess up. Not with D. Because the Count knew he was new to this feeling and would do some things that may have ended a relationship, so D would give him slack. He could tell just by the smile and the depth of understanding in those wonderful eyes.
D waited and smiled inwardly when Leon moved closer and kissed him. Soft, gentle, chaste. D sighed happily and moved his arms to wrap around his humans neck and back.
Leon, having gone in for the kill, reacted when he felt D relax and wrap around him. He too, wrapped one arm around the slender waist and the other moved up and into that silky raven hair, holding D's head in place. He was getting use to the feel of those lips against his and licked them. He wasn't sure if D would open up for him, but he would try. After the day he had, he really needed D to trust him and....love him.
D smiled against the licks and parted his lips, letting the detective to deepen the kiss. It felt nice and right. He knew Leon needed physical contact right now, but he also needed something else. Something he, himself, needed from time to time. And they both needed it now. He twisted his tongue to play with Leon's as the kiss turned heated and very deep. He could feel the need in his human’s whole body and he would yield to the power of it, relaxing and leaning back.
Leon felt D open for him and took the kiss to the next level. He felt the pull stronger now. Wanting to be as close to this wonderful person as he possibly could. When he felt the Asian lean back, he leaned forward and laid them out on the couch. He was careful not to put all of his weight down, so as not to crush the beauty under him. He wanted nothing more than worship every part of D. But the need for air broke his train of thought and he slowly pulled away. What he saw when he opened his eyes made it very difficult not to rip their clothes away and do just that.
"Wow. You are....beautiful D."
D blushed cutely and licked his lips. He could still taste Leon's spicy flavor there. He knew he would gladly do anything for this man and he saw the hunger in those deep blue eyes. It matched his own desire to be claimed by Leon.
"Make love to me Leon. Please...?"
That was all Leon needed. He stood up and pulled the slighter male up into his arms and carried him down the hall. Kisses and licks, nips and nibbles were exchanged as he made it to a door that he just knew was D's room. And for the remainder of the night, no one went near that door. Not even the noises that came from the room would get the curious animals to look into why they were being made.

Six Months Later:
"Get back here you little brat!"
A figure laughed as they ran out of an ally and headed out of town. The big man chasing them soon ran out breath and growled as he turned to go back into the dive club.
The figure, a long haired male with black clothes and violet eyes chuckled as he ran back to the safe place in the woods outside the city. He had four other's he needed to get back to and he knew one of them would be mad and worried. But he knew just what to do to get his lover to forget about being mad.
When he got back to the small cabin, he went in and was greeted with four sets of eyes. There was a tall, brown haired, unibanged one with green eyes. He just shook his head and squeezed the smaller blonde, blue eyed boy he had one arm around. Those blue eyes looked at him as if trying to find a wound.
Black eyes glared at him and he smiled, shrugging and then yelped when he felt a smack at the back of his head. When he looked to the side, he was met by cobalt eyes. It was the eyes of his lover. It was also the deep voice of his lover that broke the silence.
"Why do you always stay gone so late? Do you have any idea what could happen to you should you be caught? Damnit Duo...."
Duo knew that the scolding was a cover up for what his lover really wanted to do. So he bowed his head and ran a hand down the others chest.
"I know Heero. I'm sorry I worried you."
A growl was heard and it wasn't from Heero. Duo looked up and met black eyes across the room.
"Do you have any clue as to what we had to do to stop Heero from going after you? I will not try to stop him next time. And you know what he would do if let loose on the city to find you. Be more careful with your outings Maxwell. I don't fancy getting bitten when he
fights back."
Duo blinked and then looked at his lover. He had seen the look in those eyes only twice before. And he knew why Heero had that look now. It was because his lover was a vampire. And he had bitten Wufei in an attempt to get out of the cabin to find him. Wufei was a dragon.
And for a vampire, a dragon's blood is rare and they often end up killing the dragon because they like the taste of their blood so much, they can't stop themselves once they start.
A soft voice interrupted the thinking quiet.
"Please Duo. Try not to stay out past sunset. I had to work for nearly an hour to get Wufei back into a healthy state. I don't mind, really. But....just be more careful with the time ok?"
Duo looked at the blonde and nodded.
"I'm so sorry Quatre. And the rest of you. I just lost track of time. I know I shouldn’t considering, but...."
Duo looked down and sighed. It was the last member of the group that spoke and everyone smiled at what was said. They all understood that it was true and there was no real stopping it.
"Duo is human, slowly aging thanks to Heero, but human none the less. He wants to be among the humans often because of how he grew up. We all need to keep that in mind before we scold him for being a bit late."
Duo gave Trowa, the werelion, a big smile. They all understood why he was the way he was. But it was Trowa that understood it the most. After all, Trowa had been human at one point in time, but do to being bitten by a werelion a few years back, he could no longer be among humans as he once was.
Heero knew this feeling all too well, as well. He was once human, but he was also over four hundred years old and liked the way he was now. He had Duo and the other three and that's all he needed. He took Duo into his arms and nuzzled into his neck.
"I'm sorry for yelling at you. I do understand why you must be among the humans. I just....I don't like when you are so far from me. Waking up alone is not easy for me. Not after you came into my life."
This was whispered and only Duo could hear it. He nodded and leaned into the warm touches. After feeding, especially on Wufei, Heero was always warm.
"Well, now that that is settled, I'm going for a flight. I've been in this human form for the better part of a week and really need to stretch my wings. And Yuy, next time you latch onto me like that, make sure to ask first."
Wufei gave Heero a sideways smile and took to the air once outside. He wasn't mad at the vampire. And had in fact fed him twice before. It didn't bother him, but being surprised by a pair of fangs in his neck was never good. He could have killed Heero. But Quatre had stopped either of them from killing each other. The Angel was always the level between the two.
Trowa watched as his dragon friend took off for a night flight and turned to the pair starting down the hall for their room. He knew what would happen and smiled down at his blonde lover. Said lover gave him a sly grin and headed for the door, having gotten out of the embrace.
"Catch me if you can Lion."
With that, Quatre took off and giggled as he heard his lover growl and chase after him. He was fast and would give the werelion a good run before he allowed him to catch him. This was how they played. Lion's like to chase and Quatre was more than happy to comply with the simple game of 'Catch the Angel'.

Scene Change:
Wufei flew over the city, lit by lights. He loved to fly. He didn't get to very often, but now was a good night for it. Warm in the summer, but the breeze of his speed was wonderful on his scales and fur. He loved opening his wings wide and flying fast. He went all the way to the ocean’s edge and dipped into the water, flying in the waves for a moment and then went into the air again.
He headed back toward the city and changed into his half human form in order to land in the park. He folded him wings back into his shoulders and took on his full human form when he landed. He liked to walk in the park sometimes too. The sounds and feelings he picked up from around him always made him feel better. He liked the fountain in the middle of the park as well. It never changed, always the same, yet every time he looked at it, he felt like he could almost hear a song in the way the water splashed and the look on the face of the woman and child reminded him of his own mother and his clan.
He sat down on the bench across from the fountain and just watched the water. He was almost in a daze when a presents caught his attention and he opened his eyes, sitting up strait and looking around. There, just on the other side of the fountain. Three men. All of them looking at him.
There was two more, one on either side of him and a bit away. He knew what they wanted from him. After all, he looked almost like a female and in the dark; the humans wouldn't be able to tell. Of course, in this city, it really didn't matter. He was quiet when they all came closer to him. He didn't want to fight them. So he would play dumb until they gave him a reason to lash out.
"Well, well. Looky here boys. A pretty thing all alone in the park. What shale we do?"
The big one in the middle of three laughed at his own joke. The others joining him. He was the leader. Wufei took in a deep breath and looked the man in the eye. Of course, he had to look up, but oh well.
"I am not female, so go play somewhere else."
This brought on a few blinks and a chuckle from the leader.
"That's never really bothered us. Now has it boys?"
"No sir!"
The man gave a crooked smile and reached up to run it down Wufei's cheek. It took everything he had not to reach up and break every bone in that hand.
"See? Now are you going to be good.....or do we have to get rough?"
The gleam in those uncaring eyes told Wufei they would like if he was feisty. And he didn't want them to touch him. So, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Then opened them and flipped the leader over his shoulder and took up a fighting stance when he got his balance right.
"If you come near me, I will kick all of your asses and then give you to the authorities."
He had to pretend to be human. He knew this. So he would do things the human way. The big leader was not happy and growled.
"Get him boys!"
And thus, the fight began. Wufei moved in fluid motions, taking out the weaker ones first. Not killing them or even really harming them. Just knocking them out. It only took him ten minutes or so, but all but the leader was out cold.
Wufei looked at the man and studied him. The human was breathing hard, but he was fine. The leader came at him and knocked him off his feet using his weight and pinned Wufei to the ground. His voice was hard and angry.
"You fight well for such a pretty thing. But now you will know what it means to be a real man. I have had so many that have fought me. Each and every one of them got raped and killed. You will be no different."
Rough lips claimed his and Wufei bit down hard on them, making the man pull back and punch him. The man grabbed at his groin and slapped him again when he tried to wiggle away from the hand. Wufei growled and was about to give the human his justice, but a shot was heard and the man rolled off of him with a howl of pain.
Wufei rolled and stood, looking around trying to find who had shot his would be rapist. It was a tall blonde and four others in uniforms. Wufei had to think like a human and bowed his head, using soft words. After all, he had just been 'saved' and would act as such.
"Thank you officers. I am very grateful to you."
The blonde walked over to him and opened his badge. He looked hard at first, but then, with a closer look, he was kind and offered reassurance.
"I am Detective Leon Orcot. I will have to ask you a few questions. Are you hurt?"
Wufei shook his head and spat out the last of the foil human’s blood from having bitten his lip.
"No. Not hurt. Just....just upset. Thank you again for saving me."
How pathetic could he get? Jeez. The detective looked him over and then looked into his eyes. The human's eye widened and he came closer to whisper lowly.
"You aren't human, are you? If you will come with me after we get this cleared up, I would like you to meet someone. Please?"
This surprised the dragon and he blinked at the blonde a moment. How did he know he wasn't human? And who would this person be that the detective wanted him to meet? He wasn't sure, but no one expected him back before sunrise, so he would go along with this.
"I will go with you. But only for a short time. I have four others I must go home to before sunrise."
Leon seemed to like this answer and nodded, giving a small smile. He then took on his work face and motioned for Wufei to fallow him back to his car. The men that attacked the dragon were being pushed into the other three cars and Leon opened his car for Wufei.
"I will have to take you down to the station for questioning. You don't mind, do you?"
Wufei shook his head as he got in the car.
"I know how these things work. I will answer your question the best way I can."
Leon liked this answer too. He knew that this male would not lie to him. And he would leave all the other questions he had for him out until they got to D's. His lover would know how to question this male better them him. He could tell that the Asian wasn't one of D's. That's why he wanted them to meet. D would be excited and maybe Leon would be able to understand the abnormal better. He was learning quickly from D. But he didn't know that there were non-humans in the city other than what D did.
When they got to the station, Wufei was led into a room with only a table and two chairs. It was cold in here and he had to adjust his body temperature in order not to be cold. Leon came in with a note pad and folder. He smiled and sat down in the vacant chair. Then he took on his working face again.
"What is your name?"
Wufei knew he had to tell the truth, but some of these questions he would have to lie about and he knew that this Leon Orcot knew he would have to lie as well. And now it began.
"Chang Wufei. I would like if you called me Wufei."
Leon smiled and nodded. D was Chinese and they always put their last name first. He understood this.
"Alright Wufei. How old are you?"
Wufei thought about it a moment and answered the best way he could. This was a question he would have to lie about.
"19."
Leon knew that was a lie. He would get his real answers later. So he continued. Knowing which were lies and which were truth. He could tell because Wufei would pause a bit and get a look in his eyes that said he was lying do to having to pretend to be human. After all, they were being watched.
L: "Why were you out in the park at 9:30pm?"
W: "I like to walk there to relax after my day. I always do. I like to walk alone, but tonight was the first time I had seen other people there that late."
L: "Alright. That's understandable. But why so late?"
W: "My day's start late. There for I am restless late into the night. Rather than stay home, I like to walk."
L: "Ok. Now I'm going to ask you about your attack. If you feel like you can't answer a question, it's alright. Understand?"
W: "Yes sir."
L: "Good. These men, how did they approach you?"
W: "Three from the front, one on either side. I had been sitting in front of the fountain to relax. They came over to me and started saying things. Then the big one, the leader, started touching me and I tried to fight back."
L: "I saw that. The others were all knocked out, but not hurt. How did you manage that?"
W: "I have been trained well in the martial arts. I can defend myself if needed without causing harm."
L: "I see. But you were pinned down when we showed up. How did that happen?"
W: "I thought I had knocked him out too. I went to go call the police, but he surprised me and I was knocked off balance. He was heavy and I ended up on my back. I thank you again for getting him off of me."
Leon smiled and waved a hand. He knew that Wufei would have gotten away just fine had he not shot the man in the shoulder.
L: "You said that the leader said some things to you. What were they?"
W: "Well, when he first came up to me, he was teasing. Like he was giving me something to think about. Things like how pretty I was, even for a male. Then when he had me pinned he told me that many others had tried to fight him and that he had raped and killed them. I would have become another one on his list if you hadn't shown up."
They both knew that was a lie, but for the sake of the others around, they couldn't say otherwise. Leon nodded and took some notes. Then the door opened and a female came in with another folder.
"Orcot, that big man, the one you shot, he is one of the gang leaders behind that other case you are working on."
She turned to Wufei and he tilted his head in respect. She smiled at him.
"You are a lucky one."
Leon watched as Wufei nodded and then the girl left. He looked at the folder and sighed, rubbing the side of his head. This was getting bad and Wufei was thrown right in the middle of it. He looked up into those black eyes and knew he would have to take them out of the station and into Count D's shop before he went mad and asked a strange question he shouldn't.
"Thank you for help. I may have to question you again soon. Is there a number I can reach you at?"
Wufei tilted his head and frowned. He didn't have a phone. None of them did. They all just....knew....when one of them was needed. It was the bond between them. He shook his head and shrugged.
"I'm sorry. But I don't. I could come by again if you wanted me to."
Leon sighed at the news. That was never good in an investigation. He would have to convince Wufei to get a cellphone. But first things first.
"Ok. I will help you get a cellphone. I need to be able to get a hold of you should I need to ask you some more questions. The man that attacked you is a part of a bigger operation and you just got caught up in it. You got away and the whole gang will be looking for you now."
Wufei sighed and nodded. He didn't like the idea, but if he was in danger and there was more than one group after him because he got away this time, then he would agree to a phone. He would have to warn and explain things to his group, but they will understand.
"Alright. I will get a phone. May I go now?"
Leon smiled inwardly at this. That was what he was waiting for. He started to gather up his things and looked at Wufei as he stood up.
"If you need a ride home, I'll give you one. After what happened, I'd suggest it."
Wufei nodded and bowed his thanks. After all, he was Chinese and it was respect to take kindness when it was offered. And besides, he knew they wouldn't be going home.
Leon gave his report and clocked out. Then led Wufei to his car and they headed for the shop. He didn't want Wufei to freak out too much, so he explained a bit on the ride.
"I knew you weren't human when I looked at your eyes. I've been exposed to non-humans for so long; I'm able to spot them if I look close enough. My lover is actually one of the non-humans. He runs a pet shop in China Town. That's where we're going. He'll know right off the bat what you are, but I've gotta ask, what are you?"
Wufei listened and not finding any lies in what the human said, he answered.
"A dragon. I am the last of my clan. I have four other friends that found me and got me back into heath. The rest I'll tell you when we get to this shop of yours. I do not like to repeat myself."
Leon smiled and nodded. He could understand that. They drove in silence until he pulled up and parked just outside the shop. D already knew he was there and would be setting out tea. It was funny the way he always knew what his lover was doing now that they had become so close.
"Well, this is it. Come on."
Wufei got out of the car and walked behind the detective. The blonde opened the doors and was met by a shocked and gaping Count.
"I brought a guest. I hope you don't mind?"
Count D stood there by the low table and stared wide eyed at the creature standing in his door way. He was told that there was no more of this type of dragon left in the world. But then, how was this one here, in his living room? He shook his head at his lover’s words and bowed respectfully at the dragon.
"You are welcome here. I am glad to see that a least one of your kind is still among us. Please, come sit."
Wufei was blinking and confused. What the heck was this male talking about? How did he know he was the last of his clan? And why was the detective chuckling as he walked over to the smaller male?
"Baby, he is more modern day then you think. He probably has never been worshiped before."
D looked at Leon and then to Wufei, then back to Leon. Never been worshiped? Oh, he meant honored. This shocked D to no end and he had to sit down in order not to fall down.
Wufei saw this and walked over to sit on the couch.
"He is right. I have not been honored before. So you surprised me. I am Chang Wufei. But please call me Wufei."
D looked up at the dragon and gave him a smile.
"I am Count D. I do apologize. My father and grandfather had told me of the Blue Fire Dragon Clan many years ago. I always thought you to be wonderful dragons and always honored your ways. But then that horrible fate happened and I thought all of you were lost. I am very pleased to see one of your clan still lives."
Leon watched as his lover and the dragon talked. He had one hand on D's knee and the other held a cup of tea. He was glad that D seemed happy and Wufei seemed like he was a little happy with knowing someone knew about him.
"Yes. I am glad that someone still believes in me. When my four companions found me, I was ready to leave this world. But they are stubborn and wouldn't let me. You seem kind and gentle. And knowing as much as you do about me and my clan, you must be a good soul. But I do since that you, yourself, are not human. May I ask you what you are?"
D smiled. He had already told Leon and it never changed a thing. So telling this wonderful creature will not be a bad thing.
"I am a lower Kami. Mostly plants and animals. Even those animals that may have gone extinct if I had not found them."
Wufei blinked. Kami? This male was a Kami? He looked closer and then it hit him. Yes he was! Wufei looked into mismatched eyes and bowed head respectfully.
"You honor me then, by letting me into your home."
Leon wanted to laugh at how the two Asians were behaving, but knew that this meant a lot to both of them, so he wouldn't. When Wufei looked back up, Leon saw a big smile on both the non-human's faces. This made him smile. He had a feeling he would be seeing more of Wufei.
"I am happy to have you here. About these companions....I would like to meet them. Anyone who can make a bond of friendship with a dragon is always welcome under my roof. Please, do you think you could bring them the next time you come here?"
Wufei thought about it a moment. He sure wouldn't mind coming back. It felt nice in here and it smelled wonderful. He was sure the others wouldn't mind either. Making up his mind, he smiled and nodded.
"I'm sure they would love to meet you. I will bring them....tomorrow evening?"
D gave a wide smile and nodded.
"That would be wonderful!"
Leon was happy seeing D this happy. He was about to say something, but a movement from the hall caught his eye. He turned and saw Tetsu standing there, looking like a deer caught in headlights. This made him chuckle. The chuckle caught D's attention and he to, turned to see his friend looking pale and wide eyed at them. He smiled gently and motioned for the Totetsu to come over.
"Come on Tetsu. Come meet our guest."
Wufei looked over when D spoke and almost spit out his tea. D had handed it to him after sitting down. The most gorgeous creature he'd ever seen was standing there. Watching him with golden eyes. Wild orange/red hair, curved thick horns, pointed ears, pale skin and dressed in loose cotton pants and a vest. Yup, for sure the most gorgeous thing on the planet.
Tetsu had come to see if the Count needed him for anything before he went hunting, but then he stopped dead cold when he laid eyes on the dragon sitting on the couch. He had a human form. A very good looking human form. But Tetsu could also see the half human form and it was breath taking. He stood there transfixed until he heard the Count's voice telling him to come over. He blinked and walked over a ways. Stopping and bowing to the dragon.
"Hello. I'm T-chan. A Totetsu."
Wufei racked his brain for a response. He couldn't think strait. Not with those eyes plastered on him. He swallowed and bowed back in respect. He knew of the Totestu's from stories his mother told him. Very interesting creatures. He never dreamed he'd meet one. Let alone one that looked like that.
"I am Change Wufei of the Blue Fire Dragon Clan. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Leon and D watched the two. D knew right away that Tetsu would become close to the dragon and likewise with the dragon. Wufei seemed taken by his friend. Leon could see some sparks as well and inwardly laughed at the Totetsu. The thing was always picking on him for being sappy with D, now he would get a good dose of his own medicine.
"It's getting late. Your friends will start to wonder where you are."
Wufei blinked and turned his head away from those golden eyes to look at Leon. He nodded and sighed.
"You are right. Poor Quatre will be getting close to letting Heero come and get me if I don't get back. It was pleasure meeting all of you and I hope to see you again tomorrow evening."
Wufei looked to Tetsu and bowed again to D, giving a smile to Leon. D stood and bowed back, Leon chuckled as he saw Tetsu step closer, but not to close. He had nodded to the dragon when he looked his way in understanding that he would be there tomorrow as well.
Wufei smiled to each and then headed out. He was still smiling as he entered the house and was met by two pairs. One looked worried, the other look amused. He sighed and lowered his head to the blonde and his lover.
"I'm fine Quatre. No harm was done. Not to me or the humans. I knew you would feel what happened, so I won't explain it. I'm ok."
He gave the Angel a smile and then growled as he heard a chuckle.
"Maxwell, not a word from you."
Duo couldn't help it. He had a feeling why Wufei had been smiling the way he was when he came in and he couldn't resist the chance to tease the dragon. Heero just sat there and held onto his braided Baka.
"Oh, but Wufei....you never smile like that. So, what happened? You finally get laid?"
"DUO!"
Quatre was beet red as he yelled at Duo and Wufei just stood there and gaped for a moment. Then blushed and looked away. The way the Totetsu had been looking at him and his own thoughts of the other....well that put his mind right smack into the gutter.
"No. And even if I had, I sure wouldn't tell you about it."
Duo cracked up and would have fell out of the chair, had Heero not had a hold of him. Wufei sighed and headed for his room. He remembered that he still had to ask them if they would go back to the shop with him and turned.
"Would you all like to come with me to a new friends place tomorrow night? He says we all welcome there. He is a Kami and I trust him."
This got four sets of shocked eyes and then Duo broke the silence.
"Sure thing Wuffles. I'd love to. And where I go at night, Heero comes to, so he'll go."
Heero just nipped at his lover’s neck as an answer. Wufei rolled his eyes and resisted the urge to strangle Duo for his nickname. Like Heero would let Duo go anywhere without him. If it weren't for the sun, he would even go with him during the day. He turned his gaze to Quatre and Trowa. Trowa nodded and Quatre smiled.
"Of course we'll come. I'd like to meet this Kami. I have heard so much about them."
Wufei smiled back and nodded before going up stairs to his room. He was tired and tomorrow he wanted to be at his best. He laid down and the last thing on his mind before sleep was deep golden eyes.
