All I could do was stare in a confused daze, around me the paramedics began to check over my wounds, it was nothing compared to my companion, my lover, the one person in this world I would have died to protect.

I blamed myself, if I hadn’t of said those horrible things to him, if I hadn’t of kicked him out, if I would have just grown a set instead of taking all my problems out on him! I was a weak man, a very weak man, it had been two days since he called me, I finally finished my work, and got in my car. I drove for hours, when it finally became dark; I thought about going to that place, where we’d first met, maybe he was there? As I drove, my mind begun to wander, if he wasn’t there I didn’t know where else to look, I went to his best friend’s house, yet his friend claimed he’d left hours ago to go back home, I called the house phone, no answer, as I parked my car and got out I could hear the faint sound of his singing, I would die sooner then tell him how beautiful I actually thought his voice was, I was a tough guy, I always played the tough guy act, as I neared him, his singing died down, he shot a glare at me before grabbing his backpack of clothes and began walking towards my car, I didn’t say anything, he’d given in soon and begin his ‘love assault’ on me, he always did.

It was a horrible accident, two cars were racing down the streets, tried to run a red light, it was my green, both cars smashed into the left side of my car, my passenger, no my lover got the impact, and now here I was, it was beginning to rain, it was cold, I watched as the paramedics loaded my lover onto the stretcher and into the ambulance, he wasn’t dead, I rose to my feet and began walking to his ambulance, I had to tell him I was sorry, I had to

“Sir please we will take you to the hospital in this ambulance, please sit down” I couldn’t listen, couldn’t hear them, I needed to make sure he was ok; I had to make sure he was going to be fine! My eyes began to prickle with tears as his ambulance begun to drive away, I was lead to another ambulance, as the two racers were pulled into the police cars, they had come out without a scratch, damn bastards.

The second I arrived at the hospital, they had to sedate me, I was fighting too much, when I came too, I saw my brother sitting on the end of my bed, my eyes darkened, something was wrong, he never looked so serious unless something was wrong

“Where…. Where is he?!”

“N-next door…”Anything else that boy said was left to deaf ears, I jumped off the white hospital bed and stormed out the door, running to the room next to mine, I couldn’t hear anything inside, I pushed open the door slowly, and my whole being relaxed, there he was, the love of my life sitting on his bed, a bright smile on his face, and for a second I thought nothing bad had happened to us, I thought we were not fighting, we were a happy couple again, well as happy as we could be, I inched forward in the darkness, it was odd the lights would be out in a hospital room with patience in it, but at that moment nothing else mattered, only him, my singer, my lover, my life, I sat on the bed next to him, tears prickling my eyes again, it was hard, it hurt for some reason seeing him, he looked perfect, and thinking back now, that was not a good sign, not after the damage he suffered in the crash

“S-Shuichi… I” no sounds came from him, he simply placed his fingers to his lips, as if to shush me, he knew what I was going to say, he didn’t want to hear it, his hand touched my cheek, it was warm, and oddly enough he was glowing in the darkness, his lips never moved, but his words rung out into my head

“I forgive you” the lights flashed on, he was gone, Tatsuha stood in the door way, the light switch under his fingers, I looked at him confused, where was Shuichi? Tatsuya’s eyes began to water, he looked away from me, I slowly looked to the bed, and my heart sank, there laid a small body, under a white sheet, I stood on shaky legs and ripped the sheet off, the world begun to spin, my lover, my life, laid lifeless on the bed, his body so mangled it would have been a miracle if he didn’t die on the ride to the hospital.

That was the night my life was taken from me, I don’t know what I saw in that dark hospital room, but I will never believe Shuichi’s spirit stayed by to tell me he forgave me, I was a monster, I hurt my love so much, the funeral was hard, I didn’t stay long, because of his passing the radio played his music all day, I couldn’t listen, I locked myself away in my study trying to ignore everything, the world around me.

Now here I sit, in my dark study, a barrel in my mouth, I wasn’t alone in my final hours, in some sick twisted fantasy I could have sworn Shuichi was beside me, holding me, trying to stop me, but without him, my life is dark, with no light at the end of this tunnel, I closed my eyes, took a breathe

BANG Then it all faded away, I won’t tell you what it’s like after you die, that’s something you must find out on your own, either you believe there is something after death or not, just know.

This is my story to you readers; it’s the story on how my life ended.

Author note: Just a random sad one shot I wanted to do, I love gravitation and actually hate myself, but I like it ^^; I think?... Lol!
