I do not own Kuroshitsuji (or the quote at the beginning of the fic) or make money off of it.
This fic will follow the manga rather than the anime. Though, only up to a certain point since the manga is not all out yet. If you have not read the manga don't fear, you can still read this and make sense of it, I am sure. You really should read the manga though for your own entertainment.~
It indeed does have male x male sexual descriptions (not underage for the time period), though there will be parts that will have male x female topics - this first chapter included. Please be cautious of this before reading.
Added Note: By the way... since everyone seems to think it's about vampires... it's not. It's just something that's mentioned... since that seems to either attract people for the wrong reason or turn them away.
"I thought I was a butterfly next to your flame.
A rush of panic and the lock as been raped.
This is only a game,
This is only a game..."

The demon's eyes are trained on the prey, like they always were. Lately, they just had the habit of noticing other things - lingering longer than needed. It wasn't like he had never admired his master before he was a devil after all and they were known very well for their cardinal acts - rather this was gluttony or lust wasn't clear of course. It was amazing how the body before him has had it's natural changes that come to all with age and yet his master still looked rather boyish or girlish even.
Not to get his master wrong but Ciel was graced with good looks even if they weren't the highlight of 'manliness'. He was not large and masculine but very slender. It was not unnatural for those in nobility for they did no manual labor and were inbreed for the most part. It left them being small and with many health issues in the long run. Nor was Ciel fat from greed that many nobles were since they had the money for food. He did have this issue with eating sweets all the time, but he did not laze around like other nobles thanks to his duties to the queen. He still had the perfect, smooth skin of a child thanks to all the extra and proper care Sebastian had put into it. Not a single blemish or crack of dry skin. Body hair was thin and hardly noticeable in the visible places. The earl never had to think of a razor for his face.
Even at the age of seventeen he still insisted on dressing in those shorts leaving a perfect view of pale skin were the stockings permitted. Yes, those legs... they were the reason the demon was admiring the earl at this time. He was sitting with one knee over the other, leaning back into the chair as he lightly swayed the resting leg. With his small frail body he had still managed to grow more in height and his legs were what made it up for the most part. They were long and slightly childishly plump despite his age. That had lead to him having amazing curves for a male. This was most likely a bit because of the way he ate, but it wasn't awful looking one bit - the complete opposite really. It wouldn't last long that way though considering the earl had been getting lanky with age.
By now most males would be married, but the young earl had managed to hold it off for as long as he could and his Aunt Francis went right along with that feeling that neither Ciel nor Elizabeth were ready for it. For now Ciel is all to Sebastian.
The demon had definitely not always thought about such things, it wasn't until recently really. He had started taking the young master's age into account and now it seemed sometimes that the young earl was trying to give him subtle messages in touches and words, but they were never obvious for Sebastian to say that was what it was. His lips turned up into a slight smirk at his thoughts. 'Young master'. It was a term Ciel didn't like since his sixteenth birthday and Sebastian can imagine Ciel giving him a displeased glare at hearing it. It really didn't keep the demon from using the words.
It seemed for a long moment that Ciel was not conscious of Sebastian watching him and instead had his visible eye on something else, looking a lot like he was admiring someone the way Sebastian was him. At first Sebastian had suspected it to be Elizabeth, but when he follows the earl's gaze out to the ballroom floor it is in fact another girl. So that's the way he is going to be? It wasn't supposed to be a surprise since it was normal for Ciel's age, but the earl had never once showed interest in any female or really male for that matter. The demon was sure that he had not been imagining the subliminal messages to himself, but that was the only interest in anyone as a person and in that manner that had been obvious from his master.
The girl or young woman rather was one that he had danced with earlier when he was forced to participate in this gathering. (Not only participate but hold it for Elizabeth's birthday!) She had showed a large amount of interest in him, but Sebastian did realize when Ciel had been whispering to her that it had been about not making it obvious since Elizabeth was his fiancee and very vindictive about others getting their hold on him.
"What are you looking at?" the earl asks finally turning his head up at Sebastian with a glare of his left eye. "Why don't you go make yourself useful and prepare more things for the guest? You've been standing over my shoulder too long."
"Yes, my lord."
It is risky to sneak away from a party that is being held for Elizabeth. It is especially risky with another girl involved that is not Elizabeth. What makes it worse is the fact that Sebastian could come looking for him if he felt like his master was threatened by the disappearance. There is also this nagging and aching fact in Ciel's head. He knows what he is doing and knows that it is wrong - he even feels a bit nauseous with it. The young woman obviously does not. She is moaning and panting - being way too loud and he's trying to keep her quiet with their lips messily pressed together with uncertainty and inexperience. The way she's acting one would think that she was always doing these kind of things, but she doesn't seem very skilled in it at all and even seems a bit nervous as his fingers slip into her. The further it goes the more obvious she's not so much into this.
It is rather strange for the both of them and it doesn't go on very long. She tries to touch him as well, but he flinches back with a frown and suddenly finding it very awkward. She pouts up at him, but doesn't press it further. It really would be too bad for them to do something and get it done in secret only to have to find someone to dress them since they were both of noble blood and didn't know the process of getting dressed themselves and didn't do it very well when they tried.
They part and wonder off separately. He is sure she goes back to the party, but he sneaks around the dark halls for a while not wanting to be around anybody especially that demon butler of his. No doubt Sebastian would be able to tell what he had been doing and he was honestly a bit ashamed of that. More than a bit. He sighs to himself before he glances into the room. They had already given Elizabeth her presents and her cake so there is nothing else left to do except to see her out when she is ready to go. He is not prepared to have to come across Sebastian though. As if some awful force was trying to work against him though Sebastian is right there at the end of the hallway, raising an eyebrow down at him.
"It's rude to disappear at your fiancee's birthday party, my lord."
"Oh..." it is the only reply he gives before walking past Sebastian and out to the ballroom, seeing as Elizabeth and her mother were obviously getting ready to go. Elizabeth's eyes are darting around hopefully, wanting to spot Ciel and have him walk her out. She grins wide once she finds him and runs up to him and wraps her arms tightly around his neck for a hug.
The demon looks back at the young earl before shaking his head to himself. It was ridiculous of the boy to do something just to try it. Honestly. Sebastian can tell what exactly happened without asking just by his senses. If Ciel was curious about anything he could have asked, it really couldn't be that awkward to do so could it? The topic was obviously going to be ignored for the night.
It was still fairly early in the day when the young earl was sitting in his study, drinking his morning tea. He did not expect to get any letters that early, especially from the queen herself. He looked over it respectfully, a bit amused with the contents of the letter itself.
"Oh, this sounds promising compared to the boring task she's busied me with lately."
"Is that so, my lord? I assume it is not petty work that the Yard has failed to do then?" his demon ask, pouring more tea into the china and smirking back at the human. They both knew very well that some of the work they do was very capable for the Scotland Yard to take care of.
"Seems the yard knows nothing at all. They can't even give us a bit of information. I am sure I know someone who really should be able to help though."
"Shall I get the carriage ready to go into town then, my lord?"
"We should definitely get this over with as soon as possible since it's still early."

If there was anything unusual about the creepy shop it was perhaps the fact Undertaker actually didn't pop out of a coffin. The man was cleaning up from his last 'guest' as he called it. "What a surprise, mi'lord. I did not expect you to come by so soon."
"Are you saying you haven't found anything strange lately?" When he glanced over at Undertaker again the man was silent, grinning at him with a look a lot like a puppy would give begging for a treat. Ignoring this he decided to press further, "what do you know about vampires?"
Vampires? Sebastian glances down at Ciel wondering where that idea had come from. If he had known Ciel wanted to know about vampires he could have told him. In the presence of the Undertaker was not the place though. Sebastian suspects Undertaker already found him different, but he didn't need to make that worse.
It seemed the question alone was enough to have the creepy man answer because he was soon laughing like a lunatic. Ciel flinched back at the sight of the man drooling from laughing so hard before he glanced up at Sebastian and rolling his visible eye. As the laughter died down Undertaker rubs his face with his sleeve to clean the drool away before speaking again.
"They are not real, mi'lord."
"How do you come to that conclusion? Surely you are not close minded about such things," it was surprising for him to hear Undertaker deny something such as this.
"I have been in this business for a long, long time and others dealing with the dead as well. Every single coffin I make, I put the body in. There were no vampires in any of them. Besides," Undertaker grins wider, "if there are vampires my business would be very popular to them since I am the only one that makes coffins in our area."
"You can't tell me you haven't heard of the events in Highgate and Nunhead Cemeteries?"
"Why don't you explain it to me mi'lord?" though Undertaker was still grinning his voice held something that made him sound angry. Ciel didn't fail to notice and frowned back a the man before continuing,
"The bodies of two people have come out from their resting areas and are now missing. Two weeks ago the body of Charity Thompson came up from her grave in Highgate Cemetery. There were two other people in the cemetery at night - both of which were living... at the time.
She came from her coffin, dug herself out of the ground and was walking. Apparently she killed one of the two men that were there. Her body has not been found and neither has his. The other witness that has survived reported it and when no one believed him he went home and killed himself.
Then a week ago a similar incident happened with Charles Raleigh. He was not buried like her though, but in a family catacomb. Scotland yard was useful enough to let us know you handled those bodies, not the hospital."
"You say there was witnesses hm? Opium is one hell of a drug for a grave-robber to be using."
"Stop messing around with me... the body is gone."
"You're not telling me all you know, young earl. Are you failing to mention the third or the very first incident rather, the one from the hospital, in order to get information I don't have?"
"So you do know what I'm talking about?"
"I just remembered it, that's all," he chuckled before tilting his head to the side in thought. "I know for a fact those bodies were dead."
"Vampires are said to be dead. It could have been a mistake?"
"I told you. Vampires are not real and I do not make mistakes like that."
"Who could truly make that observation other than a Grim Reaper?" the words that came from Sebastian's mouth had Ciel's back stiffen before glancing over his shoulder to glare at the demon, "or anyone that could see Cinematic Records for that matter."
"Sebastian," Ciel hisses out before looking back at the Undertaker, "do you have anymore information for us?"
"I would have told you if I did. Now if you'll excuse me, mi'lord, I have to start preparing coffins for these vampires you claim exist."
The earl glared at the older man failing to see if the words were a joke or sarcasm before he turned to leave, not bothering to wait for Sebastian to open the door for him. Once outside Ciel glances back at the demon, "who does he think he is? I can't even tell if he's messing with us anymore." Still so quick to anger. He was chewing on his lip just to try and stop it himself, "and what was that with you spouting out things about Grim Reapers and Records? Don't you stop to think about normal humans not knowing about these things?"
Opening the door to the carriage, he let out a sigh before turning back to Ciel to help him in, "Undertaker is not a normal human. I'm sure in his line of work he's encountered reapers before. They don't work to hide themselves well, especially that Mr. Spears. He said clearly they don't care if human's know of them.
"I suppose you are right. He did give the most peculiar smirk as we left though," Ciel took Sebastian's hand to pull himself up into the cart.
"Would you like to investigate at the Highgate Cemetery first? It is the closest one."
"Of course, I wouldn't want to investigate in a catacomb if it could be helped anyways."

Some facts used in the fic: the cemeteries are really cemeteries in London. In the 1830's there was an awful health risk with having cemeteries inside of London so they started building them right outside of them. They are called the Magnificent Seven. I'll be referring to them a lot~
AN: Sorry for the switch between present and past tense... There's no reason except for the way I for some reason wrote it. I wanted to try my hand at writing present tense and I thought it sounded better, but I had already had the second part written and done in past tense... it was actually meant to be a second chapter as well and the first expanded on, but ... eh.
