Planting the seeds of passion
Time set: Adventure 02 - During the BlackWargreymon Arc
Deep within the forest on File Island, a digimon named Ranamon appears to be doing some garden work on a budding plant.
"Soon 'lil darlin', real soon, with your help I'll be the fairest in all the digital world." Ranamon gloated as she use her legendary warrior power to water her plant.
"My, My thou have a very interesting hobby."
"Huh?" As Ranamon snap out of amuse by a mysterous voice. "Who there?" As she studied herself to fend off the intruder. "I don't know who y'all is but your going to regret tangling with the beautiful and all powerful Ranamon."
"He, he, calm thyself my dear Ranamon." the mysterous voice said as its owner came walking out off of the shadows. "Tis is I Mercurymon."
"MERCURYMON JUST WHAT IN THE BLAZES Y'ALL DOING SNEAKIN' UP ON LIL OLD ME LIKE Y'ALL ALMOST GAVE A LIL OLD HEART ATTACK!"
"I should ask of you, for your activities have been most suspecious as of late." As Mercurymon look over Ranamon's shoulder. "Me thinks it has something to do with plant your attending to."
"Well not that it any of y'all business, I'm just planted one of my 'special' fruit tree."
"Those horrid abomination." Said Mercurymon with unhidden disgust. "Don't thou have enough those 'fruit' already, you have that silly group of Toucamon plant a whole forest of them in your territory."
"Well a girl can't too prepare can't she? Besides this Digipassion fruit I can have an army of followers who will do anything for my love."
"What the effect on human prey tell?" Mercurymon ask curiously.
"Who knows, who cares; besides it's not like I'm going to be giving them to human am I?"
"And thus require to travel to not only the eastern quadrant but the southern and western as well?"
'Hmph, observate as ever aren' t you Mercurymon.' Ranamon interally reply as she thought her activities were discreet. "Just get to the point will ya why are you really here? It couldn't be because of my lil old hobby does it?"
"As a matter of my dear maiden, it's actually the reason I'm here." Mercurymon answered. "Lord Cherubimon is concern that your activity will attract unwanted four or five 'attention'."
"Oh my, don't tell that Cherubimon is actually afraid of something."
"As powerful as our master is, he's power is not enough challenge the sovereign yet." Mercurymon said thoughtfully. "Come, we have kept our waiting long enough."
"Alright." Ranamon said poutfully as both she and Mercurymon make their way back to the northern quadrant via portial, not realizing problems her 'fruit tree' will cause for certain human.
There you have the first chapter of my first fic. I know I'm new this so any tips to help me write better will be appreciated. Also if your going to flame at least keep it professional.- 1
