A/N: I know I shouldn’t be starting up another story! But I have some inspiration at the moment and decided to see where it goes. Darn me and my weird dreams that somehow manage to inspire me.

                Shun cried out as he was shoved into the room. He had been out looking for his older brother, for the past several months he’d been following the trail of his elder brother Ikki who had gone missing a few years ago. It had taken him into a remote area of the mountains, and at some point he’d been ambushed. He’d been quickly subdued and blindfolded before being lead off to the place he’d just been shoved into.

                Expecting to hit the floor as he stumbled, instead he ran into someone who caught him with a dull thud. “You okay?” The voice was soft and gentle and Shun felt another person moving behind him to unbind his hands as the other person who steadied him took off the blindfold. A pretty purple haired man stood in front of him. “I’m Mu.”

                Shun rubbed his wrists as his hands came free of the ropes. A brunette boy stepped around to the side a large grin plastered on his face. “I’m Seiya. So how did they end up catching you?”

                “I was here looking for my brother, and they jumped.” Shun replied as he was lead over to one of the cots and sat down. Looking around the room he noticed that in the large room that had several cots, there were quite a few people, counting the two that helped him, and himself there were 8 people in the room. “So what exactly is going on here? Who are all these people?”

                “Ah well, how to explain this, from what I have come to understand the people who run this place are vampires, and we’re to become a mix of companion and food source to them.” Mu explained running a hand through his hair. “I personally came here looking for my own older brother Shion; he’s been missing for nearly 10 years now.” Mu explained lying back on the cot next to Shun’s, which the green haired youth assumed it meant that that was Mu’s bed.

                “Anyway, as you know I’m Seiya and that’s Mu, over there is Shaka and Camus, the lump on the bed over there is Misty, and the person on the bed next to the door is Kanon, and that’s Aphrodite.” He pointed to a pretty man who’d just walked out of an adjacent room with only a towel on. “Bathroom is that way.” He added quickly with a smile on his face.

                “Why are you so happy about this?” Shun asked feeling a little confused as Seiya sat down next to him and put his arm around him.

                “Because, I figure that if I act up enough that no one will want me and they’ll eventually let me go, and in the mean time I get to make some friends.” Seiya replied with another idiotic grin on his face, at this comment Aphrodite turned around to look at him.

                “You know, I would think your sheer stupidity would drive them off. “ He spoke shaking his head as he looked at Shun who seemed to be less tense.

                “Give the kid a break Aphrodite, he’ll get a taste of reality soon enough.” Kanon was the one who spoke this time as he sat up. “So we’ve all, apart from new kid, been here at least 24 hours, I think it’s time to start discussing a way to get out of here.”

                “My name is not new kid! My name is Shun.” Shun said looking at them. “And I overheard them talking about there finally being enough people for them to start picking, whatever that means.”

                “It means we’re probably about to go meet our fates.” Kanon replied before poking the bed next to him, which the person sat up and yawned. “Come on, best be up in case they do show up.”

                “Mmm but I was having quite a lovely dream.” The blonde man got up and stretched before smiling at Shun. “Oh why didn’t you all wake me up sooner, I didn’t know we got another new person.”

                “Oh I didn’t get here that long ago.” Shun replied with a sheepish smile. “So you’re Misty right?” He blinked a little trying to remember all of the people’s names. At this point Camus and Shaka had broken from their private conversation to speak with the rest of the group.

                “I agree with Kanon.” Shaka added in as he sat down. “We need to start looking for a way out of here, though the problem first off I see, is the door has no inside handle.”

                “If some has an ID we might be able to swipe it through the crack to get the door open.” Aphrodite suggested causing him to get several looks from the others. “What? You expected my parents to let someone as pretty as me to go out partying? I’ve been locked up by them before, and every time I learned how to get out of it.”

                “Well if anyone has a card, speak now.” Camus looked around at the group and everyone shook their heads. “Well that was useless.”

                “I had them before they took my bag and emptied my pockets.” Shun said with a shrug and a sigh. There was a groan from the group before Shun sighed looking down. “I’m sorry.”

                “It’s not your fault.” Camus said softly before sitting on the end of Kanon’s cot. “I mean it’s what they did to all of us as well. What’s the date anyway?”

                “Uh… it’s the 23^rd of March.” Shun replied thinking a little bit. “Or at least it was when they grabbed me. “Why?”

                “That means I’ve been here for a little over a month. I was the second one they grabbed, Kanon that would mean you’ve been here about a month and a half,” Then with a quizzical look from Shun Camus added, “I was just seeing how long it’s been. I mean we really don’t get any natural light in here, we just go by when they drop food and such.”

                “I mean, while it’s been nice to sleep as much as I need for once, it gets really boring really fast.” Misty replied stretching. “What I wouldn’t give for a pack of cards or something.”

                “Those would get boring fast too.” Kanon pointed out before looking over at Seiya. “Of course you’d probably be entertained longer than Seiya.”

                “Hey!” Seiya glared at Kanon with a pout on his face. “I would not get bored that fast.”

                “Yeah you would, I’m sorry Seiya, but you have the attention span of a grahmcracker.” Misty replied with a sigh and shook his head. “I mean it.”

                They fell silent as the door opened, and two people entered. “Well, we have quite a gathering now.” The taller of the pair, an auburn man, was the one who spoke. “I’m sure many of you have your reasons or excuses for entering our territory, but whatever they may be it doesn’t matter now.”

                Shun glanced sideways at Mu who’s eyes were wide, as he stared at the blonde man who was next to the one speaking. “Shion? What are you doing here? What’s going on?”

                “Mu now is not the time for questions. You all are going to be taken to the people who will be best suited for caring for you. Isn’t that right Dohko?” Shion spoke softly before glancing at the other man, who slipped an arm around his waist.

                “My mate is correct; you will each be taken to, or retrieved by the vampire I’ve given you to.” Smiling a little, Dohko added, “I think with time all of you will come to like living here.”

                “You can’t do this!” Seiya protested glaring at the pair of them, getting to his feet. He was quickly restrained by Kanon. “Let me go.”

                “I’m not letting you do something as stupid as attacking a vampire. I’m sure you’ve heard the stories.” Kanon grumbled as he continued to struggle with Seiya. “Who knows what they did to my brother.”

                “Well, since he was the strong of the pair of you, we decided he would be good as one of us.” Dohko chuckled softly before grabbing onto Camus’s wrist. “I suppose we’ll start with this one.”

                “Let go of me.” Camus growled trying to pull lose but found himself picked up instead, now being held bridal style.

                “Yeah, this should keep Milo amused for at least a little while.” Dohko laughed, leaving everyone else staring as Shion stayed watching them, when the door closed.

                “Shion what’s going on?” Mu protested getting to his feet. He looked hurt and betrayed from the actions of his older brother. “I-I came here looking for you…”

                “Mu…” Shion sighed a little shaking his head. “Things happen, I fell in love. Now just be a good human and stay quiet. I’m sure you’ll eventually be happy here too.” Shion smiled a little bit, turning as the door opened, a smile crossed his face as a small boy rushed in and hugged him. “Hello Atla.”

                “Daddy said I could help you watch the humans.” The small lavender haired boy looked at all of them before stopping to stare at Mu, who was gawking, but quickly recovered himself.

                “You kidnap children now too Shion?” Mu said shaking his head with a visible frown on his face. “I would have assumed better of you, but I guess you’re one of those monsters now.”

                “I didn’t kidnap him, some male vampires can have children you know, and there are such a thing as born vampires.” Shion was stroking his son’s head lovingly as he spoke. “And don’t call us monsters; you’ll come to understand in time.”

                “Oh they’ll have to experience it before they believe you.” Shion turned to look, seeing Saga who had just walked in as well. “Hello brother. Sadly you’re not the one I’m here for.” Saga walked to Seiya and held out his hand. “Come on, let’s get you back to my room and maybe get you cleaned up a little bit.”

                “I’m not going to be trusting any vampire!” Seiya drew back, tripping and falling onto the bed.

                “You’re really going to make this difficult aren’t you?” Saga sighed a little bit shaking his head before pulling Seiya close to them and locking eyes. It didn’t take long before Seiya went limp. Seeing the look of horror on Shun’s face he spoke quickly. “He’s only asleep. I don’t want to hurt him, which is the whole reason I did that.” He smiled as he walked out carrying Seiya.

                “Well, I think it’s safe to say Milo’s going to be busy for at least a few weeks.” Dohko laughed as he came back in after Saga left. “So who to go where next?” he tapped his chin thoughtfully, “Shion what do you think?”

                “Perhaps it would best if you took one of the more rowdy ones such as…” Shion was interrupted as three people walked in and he stepped aside to let them through. “Or we could let you three take the ones you had chosen for you.”

                Shun watched as Misty was taken by the dark haired vampire, whose name he learned was Aiacos, the blonde vampire, Rhadamanthys took Kanon, and the white haired vampire, Minos, took Aphrodite. Looking around now the only ones who remained were himself, Shaka, and Mu. “So… um… are we just going to be here?”

                “Of course not, Hyoga and Ikki should be here by now.” Shion replied blinking a little. He then sighed a bit before looking at Dohko. “Go find them, make sure they’re not trying to maim each other again. Oh and take him with you.” He gestured to Shun, “give him to Hyoga and send Ikki on here.”

                “Wait you mean my brother is here.” Shun got to his feet quickly. “Is he okay?”

                “If you mean Ikki he’s fine. He’s one of us; I’ll try and get you two sometime alone to catch up even, though you have to be good.” Shion patted Shun’s head and Shun frowned.

                “Don’t treat me like a kid, but fine, I’ll play along with you all if it gets me to see Ikki.” Shun sighed as he was lead off by the tall man. “So… how did Ikki end up here?”

                “He willingly joined us. He found me in a tight spot with some hunters and helped me out of it, in exchange I turned him.” Dohko replied as he came to a spot in the hall way where Ikki was arguing with a blond man. “Hyoga, Ikki, quit fighting. Ikki your pets still waiting, I came to give you yours Hyoga.”

                “He’s not getting my brother.” Ikki quickly reached out but was smacked away by Dohko who bared his fangs at Ikki. “Why are you doing this? What if he-“

                “Hyoga won’t do anything worse than feed off him. Otherwise he will answer to me Ikki, he’ll be safe.” Dohko promised before putting an arm around Ikki’s shoulders and starting to lead him back to the room where Shaka and Mu were waiting.   Shun looked up at the blond, who was apparently named Hyoga, curiously.

                “Well, I suppose that leaves Shiryu for Mu. Come on, you probably want a good meal and a nap, am I right?” Hyoga chuckled leading Shun off towards his room.

A/N: I know I got a little rushed at the end; I was just really tired and wanted to get this done, so sorry! I hope you enjoyed it, and next chapter should be a little more focused because the chapters to follow will switch off between individual pairings. Next in line for an update is Andromeda’s Chains, by request.
