            She sorted through them, amazed at the number of Pokemon that were depicted, some of which she had never seen before. There were even drawings of the legendary Pokemon, but they all seemed strangely dull.
            Red picked up a single card, studying it closely. The Pokemon on it looked cute, resembling a pink bunny.
“Audino…” She spoke the name softly. To her immense surprise, the card glowed white, before releasing the Pokemon. She was startled as a real Audino appeared in front of her.
            “Audino,” He asked, gently rubbing against her hand. Red shakily reached out a hand to pet him. What was this? Was it magic? Had the Pokemon really come out of the card? If so, were all of those cards Pokemon?
            Audino sniffed her, bouncing into her lap. Red squeaked a little as she hugged him tightly. She could finally have Pokemon! She was an orphan, and thus, too poor to afford a Trainer’s license or a Pokedex from Professor Oak. But now, she would be able to go on a journey!
