Chapter Ten.

The next morning, the Senshi were in the training dojo with Terra wearing a training fuku of green and sky blue. At first she didn�t understand why the use of a fuku but then she realized that she could move easier in it. She wondered what she was going to learn as she knew she was someone special and they treated her like she was indeed special to them.

�All right, Terra, our most useful weapon happens to be the earth vine whip. And once you are able to control where the whip hits, it will be quite explosive,� smiled Alantas. �Watch,�

Terra watched as Alantas yelled out the three words he needed and out of his hand was a green vine which struck a board and shattered it into many small pieces. She wondered if she could do it. �What are the words again, cousin?�

�Earth vine whip,� Alantas said. �But this I would wait till you have gotten some of the others down right.�

Terra turned towards the panel of wood blocks and without doing anything of warning them. Her voice rang out, �Earth vine whip!� and the green vine like whip came out of her hand and missed the target but it was close to it.

She turned smiling towards Alantas and the others to see the look of pride on their faces.

Alantas smiled, �You need work, dear cousin. But you got it!�

Shawn knew they need to see how she does with weapons as she picked up a staff and yelled, �Terra, catch!� Shawn had flung the staff towards Terra. Shawn hoped she would either allow it to drop to the ground and then picked it up or catch it in mid-air.

Terra reached her hand up just as the staff got into grabbing distance and using the momentum of the fling, swung the staff around her body a few times before stopping it next to her side holding it with one hand and the staff itself under the same arm ready for action.

Shawn gave a slight nod of her head and without warning or anything of that kind, her trident appeared in her hands and she quickly started to attack Terra. Terra immediately started to block Shawn�s attack with her staff. She knew she had to do something to dislodge that trident from Shawn�s hand.

�Earth Star Burst!� she yelled as a green blast came from Terra�s hand and striking Shawn�s trident and then, Terra slammed her staff onto Shawn�s hand. Shawn didn't drop it totally just dropped one hand away from the trident but still was able to wield it one handedly.

Shawn laughed as she swung again at Terra using her other uninjured hand. Terra was starting to improve with her swings and that she had called up one of the other powers that Alantas didn�t state she had. She must be getting closer to Earth now, Shawn thought. �Come on, Terra, you can do better than that!�

�Earth Hole Crumble!�

The ground underneath Shawn crumbled and she immediately leapt away from the crumbling spot she had once stood on. Suddenly, she felt the blow to her side as Terra�s staff struck her hard on her side. �Tricky little girl.� Shawn smirked.

After a few minutes of taunts and assorted goodies, Shawn managed to flip Terra�s staff out of her hands leaving her weaponless. �Come on, little girl.�

Terra seemed to breathe in deep and then yelled, �Earth Vine Whip!� the whip came out of her hand and actually nailed Shawn�s trident. Terra was actually using her powers in battle.

Solace immediately walked in between the two ladies, with his hands out. �Time�s up. Terra shouldn�t really over do it.�

Shawn straightened up and bowed her head as she looked over at Terra, who also bowed her head and then bowed to Shawn. Shawn smiled as she bowed to her. �What did you think, Terra?�

�I didn�t even know some of those powers I used. I heard a voice in my head saying each one and stating what it was used for or how to use it. Is that normal?� asked Terra.

Solace looked at her and smiled. �It is your past training that is returning to you, Terra. I am almost tempted to see if you can transform into your Sailor Senshi form yet.�

Terra looked at him. �Do you think I could try?�

Solace shook his head. �Not yet -- you just expended a good deal of energy with those attacks that you did. It would be best if we waited on that.�

�As you wish, Solace,� spoke Terra, as she picked up her staff and walked to a chair to sit as she started to cool down from the workout that she did.

Alantas knew they wouldn�t try Terra�s endurance to use her powers for another week, so he turned to his cousin and spoke, �You can go take a shower as you are done for the day. You can come back and watch us duel, Terra.�

�I like that,� Terra said, as she walked out of the dueling dojo with Shawn as she wasn�t going to practice the remainder of the day.

The two young women laughed as they walked to the showers and got into the shower stalls to start taking their showers.

Shawn said while she was in the next stall, hair drenched in water and soapy from the shampoo. "You were looking good out there, Terra."

�You were looking good out there, Terra,� spoke a faint memory.

Terra gasped and then collapsed against the wall of the stall. �No.�

Shawn heard the gasp and then the sound of someone falling. She called out to Terra and got no response. She peeked into the shower stall to find Terra against the wall with her hands extended out like she was trying to push someone away. �Terra, it�s me, Shawn. What�s wrong?�

�No Endymion, you�re not allowed in the women�s showers. Get out before my folks find you in here!� cried Terra.

Shawn knew she was relieving a past memory of abuse from Endymion but what triggered it when she realized that she said a phrase to her. Shawn shook her head and called for Alantas to get his butt to the girl�s showers now as his cousin needs him. Shawn walked slowly into shower and turned it off as she knelt next to Terra talking to her gently reminding her that Endymion was dead. She heard footsteps coming into the showers and then slowly walked towards them. Shawn turned towards who was entering the stall to see Alantas kneeling down next to her. He held a towel out to Shawn as he averted his eyes from looking at Terra. Shawn covered her body up as Terra whimpered. Alantas knew Terra was possibly assaulted or even raped by Endymion in the showers. He spoke gently to her telling it its safe as Endymion was dead and couldn�t harm her no more. Terra cried out about the pain. Shawn and Alantas gave worried glances to each other as they looked at Terra.

It was several minutes of her whimpering out in pain before she wiped her face with her hands. She noticed that Shawn and Alantas were in the shower stall with her and the water was turned off and she was clothed only in a towel. �What happened?� she asked.

�You were relieving a past memory, cousin.� Alantas said, gently.

�And I�m sorry to say I may have caused it to happen.� Shawn stated.

�I�ll be outside,� Alantas smiled and left the stall so Terra and Shawn could get dressed.

Terra and Shawn came out of the showers. Terra smiled softly before she headed towards her chambers, a small towel was in her hand drying off her hair as she walked to her room before she vanished within.

�Oh Alantas, I cannot say how sad and sorry I am that it was my words and actions that brought back those memories to Terra,� Shawn said, collapsing into his arms.

Alantas wrapped his arms around her and stroked her hair. �It�s all right, love; you didn�t know that the words you were saying would cause something like this.�

�He must have done something to her in the shower,� Shawn whispered.

�All we can do is assume what he did but it is possible that he beat her up or took her by force,� Alantas whispered.

Shawn sensed the coming of the other Senshi and pulled herself away from Alantas just as Eros, Kafir and Ares came into view of them. Shawn smiled as she looked up at Alantas and then to the three other Senshi approaching them.

�Oh I forgot about the others. I rushed from the dojo so fast they didn�t even have a chance to know what was wrong,� Alantas said, looking at Shawn before he turned to the three Senshi. �It�s all right, Terra had a flashback,�

�Was it about �him�?� asked Ares.

Alantas only nodded as he took several deep breaths. �I swear he still haunts us in small ways. Does Usagi still have nightmares about him and his�assault on her?�

�Not every night, Alantas. It is fading. Terra�s mental wounds are still fresh and will be longer for her to heal.� Kafir spoke.

�But her ability with her powers is incredible, that amazes me the most,� Ares said. They all looked at him oddly. �Hey, just look at how she managed to throw that power blast at Shawn, I doubt that any of us could really do that on our first practice, I know I didn�t!�

They all walked back to the dojo and continued practicing for the remainder of the day. That night, Terra partook in dinner with her cousin and his mate in a private dinner, where they were just talking about that day and what the next few weeks would pertain to as in the way of her training.

It was a good thing that Solace had recommended that they partake of dinner together to become closer as a family as he's sure that Terra would like to know more about her cousin, Alantas thought as he recalled the Senshi�s discussion with him later that afternoon.

Terra started to ask more about her cousin and soon they were deep into conversation before they realized that someone was knocking on the door. Shawn got up and answered it to see that it was the hand maid that was helping Terra. �Yes?�

�I�m sorry to intrude but the Prince had informed me that mistress Terra was to be within her chambers and in bed by 10pm this night,� she said, in a respectful tone.

�Yes, tomorrow is going to be more training with my powers and getting the aim down right,� Terra said, as she quickly downed her tea and got up from her chair. �I do have to go as I am tired. I�ll see you tomorrow morning for breakfast?�

Alantas got up from his seat, went to her side, giving her a gentle peck on the cheek, �Of course. Good night, cousin. May you have a peaceful sleep tonight,�

Shawn did the same and spoke, �Remember you are strong no matter what anyone says. Just stay strong, Terra,�

�Thanks, Shawn. Good night, cousin. I�ll see you in the morning,� Terra said as she walked down the corridor with her hand maid next to her.
