Sasuke: Yeah I always have mistakes, I can read over stuff so many times, and I still have mistakes. I don’t have a beta reader so I just check it my self. I’m glad you like the plot. It’s turning out more interesting and more complicated than many of my others lol. I’m glad I’m kinda getting the characters right. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Spirit Demon: Sorry I have a more complicated plot in mind, (All my plots go haywire it seems) though I might have a story idea I could use for that if you would let me. Kenshinobsession: Yeah I can never get Aoshi pinpointed. Though we can’t really say what his personality is like. There’s not really enough story about him and Misao, to totally know all the ins and outs. I also have only seen to the end of the Kyoto arc so I haven’t seen all of Misao and Aoshi’s scenes, sadly. I’m glad you like the story and the chapters. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing.

The Last Samurai: Yeah there might be another lemon chapter lol. That had me laughing for about 5 minutes. So I am easily amused I know lol. I sure hope you like how she gets her memory back when I can get that written. Lol thanks for reading and reviewing.

Its not that I didn\'t have ideas, its just if I don\'t feel like writing for that story then it comes out all crappy, and I don\'t want to write chapters that are really really bad. I hope you all like the chapter, though there isn’t much Misao and Aoshi, but hey you also learn a little about how Misao was chosen as his partner and how it came about in a way. Well off to go post.

A sig sighed as he entered the hospital room Misao in. He had his head bowed, his cold blues eyes covered by his bangs.

“Who are you?” A chipper female voice rings out. Aoshi’s head shot up and he looked at Misao. She was smiling and her hair was down. “I don’t remember how I got this wound either.

Aoshi bowed his head again. ‘Misao whimpered and thrashed her head a little at the light touches. She opened her eyes too look at his teasing ones and she attacked him. Misao placed her hands to his shoulders and pushed him back toward the bed. She almost fell off the edge of the bed, but Aoshi’s hands were on her hips and steadied her. Misao sat on his stomach and bent down kissing his lips and trailed kisses down his neck. She kissed his collarbone and down his chest.’ Aoshi had flashes of their special night invade his mind and he staggered close to the wall. Aoshi shook his head.

“Are you alright?” Misao’s chipper voice rang out once more.

“Fine,” Aoshi said coldly.

“Okay, will you answer my question now?” Misao waited for him to answer her, and took a deep breath puffing it out in annoyance. “Who are you?”

“I’m your new partner, we’ve been partners for two months.” Aoshi lifted his head and looked at her through his bangs. Misao cocked her head to the side.

“You’re Aoshi Shinomori right?” Aoshi nodded. “I remember that I got transferred, to, what department I can’t remember.” Misao laughed.

“You hadn’t been told.” Aoshi bit harshly.

“Okay maybe I hadn’t, but you don’t have to get all mean. Can you tell me what’s happened? Misao smiled faded, as she grew serious.

‘I remember when I first met her she was really happy and had all the energy ever. When I started to acknowledge her presence, thanks to the chief, she got a little more serious. ‘We were on an undercover case and you got stabbed, they thought you were someone else. Your memories of the last two months had been placed in a state of dormancy.” Aoshi replied in his cold voice.

“Okay, well anything else happen that I should know of?” Her smile was back.

“We’ve been taken off the undercover case, and if all goes well you’ll be in a different division. You will no longer be my partner. We will find that outcome out when the time comes for you to come back to the force. You also need to quit taking chances, or you might end up loosing your job on the force as well.”

“Hold on, why are you being so cold to me?”

“This is how I am.” Aoshi turned around and walked out of the room.

FLASH BACK

“I have decided I will put two other officers on the case. Misao needs the experience she gained from the cases you’ve worked with her on, in order to perform this. You have to know each other for this to work out. They think they’ve hit Kaoru so they will be back to try again. Your emotional state wont help either.

“I can work the case on my own, I don’t need Misao to do my job, I didn’t have a partner before her.” Aoshi replied.

“You had a partner, many in fact, but you would not include them in your cases and they wanted to do something besides type of the reports you gave them, that only need to be corrected.”

“I old you I work better on my own, I don’t need a partner.” The chief smirked at Aoshi.

“She’s already done wonders for you.” Aoshi’s stared grew colder

“What do you mean by that statement?” Aoshi’s voice grew even colder.

“You use to just accept the things that happened on the force, you wouldn’t ever talk back.”

“I was never taken off a case.” Aoshi replied.

“No you weren’t but you’ve grown accustomed to Misao.” The chief replied smiling.

“How can you be happy? I...”

“Your chief was not the one who pulled you from the case. After what Sagara told me, your emotions will get to you. You will only be able to keep them held in for so long.”

“And you would know this how?” Aoshi snapped.

“I too have someone I care for, we met in much the same way. However her injury was not nearly as effective as Miss Makimachi’s. You have probably already decide that you will get hem back for what they have done to Misao.” Aoshi’s eyebrow rose at this.
“They will pay, but not will you on the case. You are suspended from duty until Misao is capable to come back to the force.”

“Suspended...” Aoshi questioned.

“Your emotions will effect your performance and you need to deal with the fact Misao may not remember you. If that does happen, you will have to learn to be partners once again. Which brings another point up. We will be reviewing your file. We will decide if Miss Makimachi will be suitable t you your partner once again, or not.”

“Saitou, when was I to be told this?” The chief questioned sternly.

“The operation of the case has been brought out into the open now, and we need someone who can get the job done successfully, and they would have been a perfect team if they had been doing their job.”

“We were...” A cold gold gaze met his and Saitou spoke once more.

“You were too infatuated with one another to even realize someone was in the apartment.”

“We don’t know if the spy came in through the balcony or not. He could have been a worker at the hotel. He also could have disguised himself.” Aoshi pointed out

“You are correct we have to finish searching the site. You, Shinomori will keep your hands away form the case. You are dismissed.”

END OF FLASH BACK

We shall find out in a couple days if you will still be my partner. Aoshi walked out of the hospital.

“SHINOMORI!” Aoshi followed the bellow of the chief. “You were suspended, with pay I might add. Why are you here?”

“I just came to retrieve some things from my desk. Misao has awakened; she must stay in the hospital until she gains her strength back. She remembers up to he point before the transfer, she was told my name, but doesn’t even remember the division she was going to be in.” Aoshi stated as he sat down.

“...”

The chief said nothing as he stared at Aoshi. “You’re hoping she’ll have a new partner aren’t you?”

Aoshi’s eyes met the chiefs, “Yes, she won’t be in so much danger.” Aoshi stated plainly.

“Aoshi, did Misao ever tell you she put a request to be in this division. She requested to be your partner as well.” Aoshi cocked an eyebrow at this. “We didn’t think she’d be able to do this job. We looked over her files and everything. She’s a hard working cop and worked off hours just to finish cases. She’s always had a partner on cases as well, but her partner hated fieldwork and she wanted something a little more challenging.” The chief sighed.

“She requested to be my partner?”

“She was never told your name she asked around on her own. She wanted to be your partner because of you record, and you two are great when you work together. Though Misao seems to get into trouble when she takes chances.” The chief chuckled. “I really doubt Misao will be placed with a new partner. She has too many quirks for another person. If anyone else would have had her as a partner they would have wanted a new partner the first three or four times she was injured. You’ve been use to not having a partner around, so you can do the job by yourself. Now I’m afraid you have gotten use to a partner. Even if Misao were to get reassigned, you’d be fine with that. Misao being injured in a different way, then on the job...” The chief trailed off. “Aoshi don’t give me that glare, I’m not like Saitou. I know you were doing your job. I also know Himura stated that you were to act natural. Another reason, you were put on the case, is because you know Himura’s past. If anyone else knew he use to kill for a living they would be horrified and ask to be taken off the case.

“What about the cops on the case now?” Aoshi questioned.

“They have not been informed of their client, and will not have access to the files either. We put the next best team on them. They know theirs someone watching over Kaoru, but they aren’t quite sure who.”

“I don’t understand why she requested to be my partner.” Aoshi stated.

“Who really knows, she told me when I first asked it was because of your record. I believe there was another reason, but you’ll have to ask her.” Aoshi nodded and stood.

“Will that be all, I am after all suspended.” The chief smirked.

“Yes you are, but not for long if Misao has awoken. I would also like to ask if Misao could stay with you? It seems at the time Misao was still staying with friends, she just recently found the apartment three weeks ago.”

Aoshi cold gaze met the chief’s gaze. “Our living arrangements should not have to change, because she was living with friends. She learned to live on her own and she can do that now. Most people have to at one point.”

“I understand that, Misao will also have trouble moving around and stuff because of the wound. She needs someone to look after her.”

“...” Aoshi nodded and left.


Okay so I got another chapter out go me. I can’t believe it; I lost my first draft so this turned out wayyyyyyyyyy different than I thought it would. Oh well it still turned out okay. I had Aoshi and Misao meeting later in the chapter, but I hope you all liked the outcome. Misao is still going to be around Aoshi. Okay well its not much action just some talk and I hope it makes sense. If not guess I’ll get a lot of questions huh??? Lol anyway hope you liked it.
