'This is getting ridiculous. Why do I keep losing to him? Maybe I need to re-think my approach here. I can attack Wulf and Meilin, but eventually their fighting strength will get to me, the two card masters are out of the question until I can tune my counter card to their magics, so who does that leave?' Var thought and his eyes light up in amusement. "Eli...he wants to open a portal to hell and cast me into it. Well, I guess I should send his soul back to the world of the dead.' Var starts to laugh now with a new plan.

"You what?" Aidon asked over the phone.
"You heard me, I kicked her out of the house. If she can't follow my rules under my roof then she can go live with someone else."
"And just who will she live with?" Aidon fired back.
"If she' thinks she mature enough to have sex with him then she can live with him and learn that he's no good for her. It's a hard lesson, but I'm giving her a dose of tough love."
"Or pushing her away." Aidon countered.
"We'll see won't we?" Samantha asked and the line goes dead.
"Samantha and Tori just can't see reality." Aidon said to himself as he shook his head.

"We need to talk," Josh's dad began.
"Dad..." Josh began but Viktor held up his hand.
"I've had to accept a lot of things in the past year or so, but you and her sharing a room here..."
"Dad,"
"I know you love her and I know you feel responsible for her being thrown out of her home, but just calm your hormones and try not to make me a grandfather yet, ok?"
"We'll try, dad." Josh replied.
"You're lucky you know? It took me until college to find your mother."
"I know it was never easy for any of us due to our superior intelligence and the lack of muscle mass,but Madison didn't care about that. I think mom would have liked her, dad."
"The anniversary is coming up...you want to take her to the site?" he asked his son.
"You'll...you mean I can..." Josh let out trying to find the words to say but failing.
"If she's going to be a Karthing she ought to to be let on that." and Josh nods with a smile.

"Var, you've got some gall showing up at my doorstep." Eli said glaring at Var.
"I've decided to alter my plan of attack just a bit. I can't take those two card masters out at the moment, and Karthing is proving to be more of a challenge than I believed him to be, but you, on the other hand, feel so personally responsible that you wish to throw me to hell. So, here I am, I dare you to open that portal."

Josh bit his lip seeing all the suitcases laying on the floor of his bed room. He wondered if this would put a strain or strengthen his relationship with her. Jumping into bed complicated a relationship, but living together made things worse. The easy part was moving her clothes and other belongings into his room. Intredimensional jumping made that easy. Now came the first hurdle...comforting Madison. It had been her idea to go at it right there and then after that last encounter with Var. She had fallen asleep crying in his arms and now was still laying in his bed in the fettle position.
'I love you, Madison. Hang on to that and we'll get through this, I promise.' he thought to her. He sighed to himself and went back to his personal lab to get his mind off things until she would wake up again.

"You're slipping Clow...your not as you once were. I know reincarnation changed you, but you shouldn't be this sloppy" Var taunted.
"Don't think you've won this battle, Var." Eli spat.
"I'm beginning to believe the only reason why you were able to win against anyone you faced was because of those cards." Var said and continue his attack.

She quietly sobbed against his shoulder as he gently rocked her in his arms. He rubbed his face against her soft mane of black hair as she cried softly. He runs his hand down her spine trying to comfort her as best as possible.
"How could she do this to me, Josh?" she whimpered.
"She's a control freak...you said that yourself." Josh reminded her.
"Yeah, but..." she said but a knock at the door stopped them.
"Who is it?" Josh called out.
"I need to talk to the both of you." Aidon replied from behind the door. Josh pushes a button on a panel on the side of his nightstand and the door opens admitting Sakura's dad.
"You certainly have a unique home, Josh." Aidon said with a smile.
"Well, it is a laboratory after all." Josh replied.
"Madison, this will explain your birth...I'm going over your mother's head, but I think this will explain some of her behavior." Aidon started. Madison sits up and wipes her eyes with a rag.
"Go on," Madison said calming down.
"Well, you know how much your mother loved my wife," he began and Madison nodded, "Well, she was furious when she found out that Natasha was going to have not just one child, but a second child. Natasha and Samantha had a talk and Samantha got it in her head that she should share the experience with her friend. So, she went to a sperm bank and got herself artificially inseminated." Aidon explained. Madison blew her knows and wiped her red eyes again.
"So she just wanted to be pregnant because of Sakura's mom. Well, at least I didn't find out that you were my dad." she said trying o make a joke.
"Heavens no, I would never even think of sleeping with her. Besides, your mother hates me with every fiber of her being." Aidon said.
"Hmmm, wonder if I could find your father?" Josh mused, but the phone in his wrist band rang and Josh answered.
"Josh, get to Eli's, he's being attacked by Var." Sakura informed.
"I'm on my way." Josh simply answered.
"Trouble?" Madison asked.
"Yeah, Var's gone after Eli. You'll be ok here?"
"Yeah, I'm not in too good of a mood to go and film the fight."
"I'll bring back a first person view of the fight." he promised and kissed her before vanishing.

"Well, Eli Moon, I guess you won't be doing much now." Var mused seeing Eli on the ground panting.
"I will destroy you, Var." Eli panted out.
"I guess I should..." he began but a blast of electricity from the Thunder card, Lee's electrical attack, and Josh's charged shot hit him at the same time. "Damn you! You've gotten a reprieve, Moon." he said and vanished. Eli's last site was of the group coming over to him before he passed out.
