Ten

Raido looked at Tejas flat eyed.
"You better have money because I'm not using the money I have on me it's all I
have left."�

Tejas smiled and piled some gold
coins on the table. "There we go thanks mister you cook really good."�

Cyran looked at Raido. "Seems
Kougaiji gave her some money, I hope she makes it last."�

"I'll be gone by the time we see
the next chocolate store."� Raido sighed.

"So Cyran can I get something to
eat here?"� Goku asked.

"Um I think the next restaurant
over okay, this man looks pretty upset."� Cyran replied.

"That's fine with me, cause you
promised me and I did find them!"� Goku grinned.

Raido let her head drop. "I'm
going back to the hotel I need a rest."�

"Okay just becareful on the way
back okay?"� Cyran remarked.

"Yeah I will."� Raido waved as
she headed off back to the hotel.

The Next Morning"�

Raido sat in the driver's side of Fafnir waiting for the others to come
down so they could get a move along.

"Hey you look tired."� Hakkai looked at her smiling as he put the
groceries in to the back of Hakaryu.

"Yeah I'll be okay I just need a decent night's sleep."� She replied.

"Maybe Vayu should take over driving for a while?"� Hakkai offered.

Raido looked at Hakkai with flat eyes. "Uuuuuuh it's
okay that's like trusting Tejas to drive."�

Hakkai just laughed. "She can't be as bad as the stories I hear about
your driving."� He joked.

Raido smiled. "That was only once I drove them off the cliff, at least
they wear their seat belts now."� She laughed.

Hakkai smiled. "Well then I guess we should see what's taking the
others so long."� He remarked.

Raido got out of Fafnir. "Don't worry we'll be right back."� She patted
the dragon in it's transformed vehicle form.

"Is that Gojyo I hear shouting?"� Hakkai smiled as they walked round the
corner to see Gojyo shouting at a couple of me standing in front of a red
haired woman. "Didn't you here me you moron's I said get lost!!!"�

Raido looked at Hakkai. "Did he find a last minute play toy already?"�

Gojyo's eye twitched as he looked at Raido. "Trust me priestess, not
with her if she was the last woman alive on earth."�

"I'm glad to here that."� The woman replied.

"It's"� It's"� HER!"� The men looked at Raido before running off the other
way.

Hakkai looked at Raido. "Popular aren't you?"�

Raido scratched her head for a moment. "They looked familiar. But I
can't put my finger on it."�

Vayu looked up from where she was leaning up against the wall. "Think
about it, the town before we ran in to these guys"� You, me, Tejas, they seemed
to think that we were in your words. "�play toys'."� She replied.

"Oh yeah the one who stood on Tejas's chocolate making her upset. That
was scary."� Raido shuddered.

Gojyo looked at Raido with flat eyes. "Stood on her chocolate?"� He
asked.

He was suddenly jabbed in the side. "Gojyo you're such an ass, they
were just talking to me."� She jabbed him again in the side.

"Hey stop that, you brat."� He looked at her flat eyed.

"So who is she?"� Raido asked.

The female just smiled and Raido noticed her metallic silver eyes as
she pushed her red hair behind her ears and she blinked seeing the demon shaped
ears.

"This is Sherekhan, she's my older sister."� He replied.

"Shere!! There you are!"� A female voice called out running up to her.

"Another demon."� Vayu remarked simply, "This city just seems to be
bursting with demon life doesn't it?"� She asked more than likely rhetorical
than meaning anything else.

"Kaika hi."� Sherekhan waved to her demon friend, the two obviously good
friends.

"Now Gojyo you mentioned you had a sister, but you didn't mention
where."� Hakkai smiled.

Gojyo looked at Hakkai. "That's cause even I didn't know where."� He
replied. "I just saw her this morning crossing the road, when those moron's
tried to hit on her."�

"They were not."� Sherekhan rolled her eyes. "I'm not that attractive."�

Raido and Vayu shared the same flat eye'd look. "Bitch."� They remarked
in unison causing Hakkai to laugh.

"I believe the jealousy demon would disagree with you."� Hakkai smiled
causing Sherekhan to blush modestly.

"But I'm not."� She protested.

Kaika just smiled at them, she was cute in the little sister demon kind
of way with an even tanned complexion, white hair and yellow eyes with apple
green round the pupil.

"I'm beginning to hate this town."� Raido grumbled.

"It's a shame you're leaving, we could of hung out longer."� Kaika
smiled. "Sherekhan talks about you alot Gojyo, she really admires you."�

It was at that point Raido and Vayu's jealousy had gone and they both
suddenly cracked up laughing causing Gojyo to turn on them. "Hey what's so
funny?!"� He demanded.

"I can't imagine anyone admiring you!"� Vayu pointed at him sniggering.

"Now, now, heh Vayu, don't be mean"�"� Raido remarked in between small
chuckles.

"You two are beginning to piss me off you know that?"� Gojyo glared at
them.

Raido waved her hand about in front of her. "No it's okay, heh, it's
just I have a younger sibling hehe, and he was nothing but a pain in the ass,
heh so I just find this sort of thing"� hehe"� different."�

"Priestess."� Gojyo warned.

"We'll be waiting by the cars, see you little brother"�"�
Vayu teased as the two walked off.

Gojyo's eye twitched in annoyance. "And we travel with them why?"�

Hakkai just smiled. "Now now Gojyo, Raido and Vayu are nice people."�

Gojyo looked at him with flat eyes.

"So you're leaving?"� Kaika asked. "Hey do you think we could get a lift
to the next town over, we won't be too much trouble we promise?"� She added
looking at Gojyo and Hakkai.

Hakkai smiled at Kaika, "It is three days drive away, so image it would
be a long walk I'm sure it won't be too much trouble."�

"Eeeee! Really?!"� Kaika squealed happily. "Thank you!"� She gave Hakkai
a hug.

Gojyo sighed. "I don't think there's enough room in Hakaryu."�

"I'll just ask him to add a couple of extra seats I'm sure it'll be
okay."� Hakkai smiled.

"And Sanzo?"�

"It's only to the next town, not like they're going to be coming all
the way to India with us."� Hakkai replied.

"Good point."� Gojyo looked at Sherekhan. "Better go grab your stuff
kiddo."�

"Sure we'll be right back, don't leave without us!"� Sherekhan and Kaika
raced off.

Hakkai and Gojyo walked round the corner to see Raido handing Sanzo a
cigarette as the two were talking amongst themselves, they had started doing
that of late for some reason, it made the others curious as to what two Sanzo's
would have to talk about.

"So they're still having breakfast that figures."� Raido remarked as she
lit her own cigarette.

"I'd heard rumours about the Henka scripture but to know you're the one
with it, it explains your actions even your families history, why you were
always considered the rebel Sanzo's."� He stated taking a drag of his cigarette.

"Yeah sorry I didn't mention it early. Hey do you think someone could
hurry up our two of a kind or something?"� Raido asked.

"Don't rush, we're giving Gojyo's sister and her friend a lift to the
next town, it's the least we can do."� Hakkai smiled.

Vayu raised an eyebrow. "Oh is that so now?"� She asked sounding
unimpressed.

"Now don't be so mean, three days of Gojyo suffering having to deal
with his own sibling should be fun to watch, as much as he's tortured me so
far."� Raido smiled.

Gojyo was by her side his arm over her shoulder. "Trust me honey it
doesn't stop my pursuit on you."�

"Drop dead."� Raido remarked.

"Sorry honey I have a mission and well that just isn't happening."�
Gojyo grinned at her.

Cyran walked out and she sighed. "They're just finishing up now, I've
paid the bill, Raido it's no wonder you didn't get broke sooner."� She remarked
shaking her head.

"I was only feeding Tejas not her and Goku."� Raido pointed out. "So are
you broke now?"�

"Oh no I still have enough for a while, but we might need to get a part
time job sometime soon, this road trip is unfunded for us, unlike a certain
other Sanzo party."� Cyran remarked.

"And whose fault is that?"� Vayu remarked looking at Raido.

Raido blinked. "What?"� She asked.

"If you hadn't insulted the three Buddha's Raido we might have had some
income for this."� Vayu added.

"Oh c'mon really as if I need help on this trip."� She huffed.

"No but you really do need to get laid."� Cyran added.

Raido looked at her with flat eyes. "Says the one whose with a
different man every night, I'm surprised you haven't got herpes or something
like that."�

"Oooooh ouch, I'm a Goddess honey we don't get human infections."� Cyran
drawled the sarcasm obvious.

~*~*~*~

"It seems they've now left the town of Hung-an."� A voice spoke as it
bowed humbly to the figure sitting on a throne up in the heavens.

"Have they now, well I trust Hagalaz that you won't let personal
feelings get in the way and retrieve my dear grand daughter to us."�

"Yes my lord Nauthiz."� The red eyed burgundy hair colored God bowed.

"See to it you sever her ties to these mortals and bring her back, now
that Homura has stepped down from protecting his sister and protecting the
traitor, we have full access to her."�

"Right away my lord."� Hagalaz stepped back shimmering from sight.

The silver haired God watched as his comrade vanished, he pushed
himself off the wall he had been leaning again. "Patience is a virtue huh?"� He just
smiled.

"Now Mannaz don't be judgemental, I have only truly waited this long to
show my dear granddaughter Perth the weakness of the mortal world, they live
they die, but we are forever."� Nauthiz explained. "She is to be punished for
leaving, that world is not the place for Gods, reborn or not. Soon they'll
understand."�

Mannaz's purple grey eyes narrowed as he nodded. "As you say."� He
walked out of the room.

Mannaz walked the halls not really looking anywhere. "�The humans say
the sinister is always the unintelligible, the impressive and the numinous,
whoever said that didn't meet Nauthiz.' He thought to himself as he walked.
"�Perth, my sister, I hope you'll be okay.'

~*~*~*~

Nearing night
fall"�

Hakkai pulled the jeep over under the shade of some trees. "I'm afraid
this is the best shelter we're probably going to come across for a while."�

"It's okay."� Raido remarked shifting in to park. "It'll be nice to just
get some sleep."� She rubbed the side of her head as she stepped out of the
driver's side when she felt this strange sensation of wooziness settle in the
side of her head.

"Raido?"� Vayu jumped out lending her support as Raido lent on her. "Are
you okay?"�

Raido just smiled. "I'm okay, just a weird head spin."�

"It's more than that, the scripture is talking to you, listen to it."�
Vayu remarked.

Raido looked at Vayu with flat eyes. "It's talking, and they thought
you driving could have been better."�

Vayu raised an eyebrow. "Oh funnnnny."� She drawled.

"Sorry couldn't help myself you sounded just slightly impaired."� Raido
joked.

Vayu huffed. "Do want me to drop you on the ground?"� She asked.

"It's okay, I know what you mean there was a change, something's
changed and it's coming."� Raido remarked.

Gojyo lent over in the jeep looking at the two. "Trust me priestess
Something's going to be c-"�"�

*BIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRPPPPP*

"Ow!"� Gojyo looked at Hakkai who just smiled putting the whistle away.
"Hakkai."�

Hakkai continued that carefree smile of his. "Sorry
but I had a feeling I knew what you were going to say and for your sister's
benefit it's best she didn't hear anything like that leave your mouth."�

Sherekhan smiled. "It's okay Hakkai I'm used to hearing his filthy
mouth, but he is my brother and he is a man, I expect to here that from him, or
I'd assume he was gay."�

Gojyo looked at her with flat eyes. "That's not the sort of support
you're suppose to give your little brother Shere."�

She just smiled at him.

"Enough idle chatter and lets just set up camp."� Sanzo interrupted.

A few hours
later"�

Hagalaz stood on a cliff face looking down at the trees and the smoke
coming from the parties camping out location for a night.

"Are they truly that stupid to think that they are safe enough to light
a fire without me finding them?"� He just smirked. "My dear Perth soon just
wait"� soon."� He placed his hand to the ground. "Lets cause some disruption
now"�"�

~*~*~*~

Camp Site"�

Sanzo sat in front of the fire a cigarette in hand and he looked at
Tejas as she smiled happily watching the fire.

Sherekhan and Kaika were actually already in there own tent resting up
for the night. Which seemed to surprise Gojyo that his sister wanted an early
night.

"Ground fire's I love those."� Tejas smiled.

Gojyo looked at her with flat eyes. "Look pixie I don't know what your
on, but fires are normally on the ground."�

Tejas blinked for a moment before smiling. "Oh yeah."�

Raido let her shoulders drop and she shook her head. "Sometimes I look
forward to that Laguz personality returning. She won't be as clueless"�"�

"So you're remembering now huh?"� Cyran smiled. "It's about time. So
what do you remember?"�

"Starting arguments with Homura."� Raido replied.

"You were always so angry up there."� Vayu remarked jabbing at the fire
with a stick. "Down here you have changed, you smile more often, it's nice to
see you smile."�

"No you're hurting the fire don't jab it."� Tejas protested.

Vayu looked at her. "And how would you know?"�

"It's protesting see"�"� Tejas pointed.

They looked at the fire as it seemed to sway in a large circle and
Raido stepped back. "The fire someone's changing it"�"�

There was a sudden cry of pain and the fire lit up shooting sky ward
and darting off in the sky in four different directions.

"Fireworks!"� Tejas announced.

"Yessssss fireworks."� Vayu drawled the sarcasm obvious. "�She gets stupider
I swear.'

The sound of the fire landing in four different directions around them
made the group stand up to see four figures dowsed in fire emerge through the
shrubbery surrounding them.

"Can't we ever get a moment's peace?!"� Sanzo demanded pulling out his
banishing gun and pointing it at the nearest figure waiting and the fire
suddenly vanished and it left a man standing there pale yellow robes a golden
crown on his head and the others just gaped.

"What the hell, is that a Sanzo priest?"� Gojyo asked.

Raido looked at the mousy brown hair the defined white at the temple
sides streaked backwards and his hair in a long pony tail, green eyes blinked
before looking at the group of them.

"Hey where did he come from?"� Gojyo demanded.

"The fire he came from the fire."� Tejas bounced about happily. "Good
fire, I like fire."� She smiled.

The Sanzo looked at the group and smiled. "I'm Kagayaku Sanzo."� He
introduced.

Raido shook her head angrily and pointed at him. "No! You're not!"�

He blinked stunned suddenly and looked at her. "Uh"� yes I am."�

"No your not."� Raido repeated.

He looked at her with flat eyes. "Do you want to see my Sanzo
authenticity deed or something?"�

"Yes."� Raido replied.

He continued to look at her with flat eyes. "You've got to be kidding
me."�

"Oh hell no."� Raido glared.

Cyran looked at the man and she looked at Raido. "He is who he says he
is Raido trust me, I've seen him before."�

"You ass!"� She grabbed a log and tossed it at him angrily stunning
everyone else. "You left me! You left me I hate you!"�

He dodged the logs his way looking at her before stopping suddenly when
the last log was cut in half in front of him.

"Hey I could handle it."� He looked to the side.

The group suddenly remembered the other three fire figures and they
looked at the purple haired man with yellow eyes. He looked at the Sanzo. "No
man can handle that. What'd you do to her Sanzo?"�

"I didn't do anything!"� he protested. "But oh baby there's somebody I'd
like to do."� He grinned.

Tejas blinked as an arm was over her shoulder and the strange Sanzo was
by her side. "So what'd ya say honey, you me tonight"�"�

Raido clearly had a vein throbbing in the side of her head.

"YOU NEVER CHANGE DO YOU?!?!?!"�

*SMACK*

He held the side of his face and looked at her with a sigh. "Look I know
your mad but calm down, I've been dead for ten years, give me a break."�

She stopped and he looked at her. "That's the change I felt"�"�

"So this is Deanna's daughter?"� The purple haired man asked. "She
doesn't look like her."�

Vayu was shaking her head rapidly. "No, no, no, no, no"� it can't be."�

Sanzo looked at the man his eyes narrowed. "You were
that man the one that asked me to pass a message on to his daughter"� but you
were"� older and dying."�

The Purple haired man smiled. "I'm Shuda."�

Vayu looked at him as he walked up to her and he smiled. "We were
revived by the God of disruption."�

"And mo-"� She stopped as he placed a hand over her mouth.

"Vayu I don't know I don't think your mother was brought back."�

"It's not fair."� She thumped him on the chest. "You just died on me."�

"It was only three years ago, just think of it like I was on vacation."�

"You died while you were on vacation!"� Vayu snapped.

"Uhhh yeah, I know but c'mon it wasn't exactly my fault, the demons
there were thousands and I was only one, they were after the Henka scripture
and since I travelled with Kagayaku they thought I might have it."�

"They came after us all."� A third voice added and he walked up to them,
Tejas blinked and pointed. "Look he has the same color hair as me!"� She smiled.

He smiled back. "That's cause I'm your father."�

"No Kougaiji-sama is."� Tejas remarked.

"Your biological father."� Vayu pointed out.

Tejas blinked. "But Kougaiji said the humans killed you."�

"Demons pretending to be humans, they killed my entire village, I was the
last to die, you were special Tejas, your powers kept our bodies from turning
in to dust."� He smiled. "I'm Alan."�

"Kiah was the fourth member of our Sanzo party but he's actually still
alive, so this God revived me instead, we have strict orders to kill you all
and leave Cyran alone."� The fourth voice explained.

"Who is he?"� Gojyo looked at the blonde man he smiled at them from
behind silver eyes.

"Youkama."� He smiled. "I'm Raido's biological father."�

Raido slumped to the ground. "So just kill us already."�

Alan smiled. "We can't do that."� He remarked.

"Why not?"� Vayu looked at him.

"Because I'm really hungry, my stomach's in knots you know it's been
nineteen years since I had a good meal. Actually anything to eat, I think I'm
going to starve to death."�

"Dude you just got revived you can't die again so soon."� Gojyo looked
at him with flat eyes.

*WHACK*

"IS FOOD ALL YOU EVER THINK ABOUT?"�

"OW!"� Alan glared at Shuda. "Don't be an ass!"�

"Oh I'm not being an ass your being an ass, you're such as ass!"�

"I am not!"�

"Are too!"�

"Am not!"�

"You are a major ass!"�

"Saaaaaaaanzoooooo!"� Alan complained.

Kagayaku let out a sigh and rubbed the side of his temple. "You know
they never change."�

Youkama just smiled. "It's okay, I wasn't expecting my cousin's friends
to be so"� well verbally active."�

"You know I'm starting to see a theme here between the old Sanzo party
and the new one."� Vayu remarked looking at her father and Alan arguing to Gojyo
and Goku who were just watching more in shock than anything.

Kagayaku looked at Youkama as he smiled and walked up to Raido kneeling
down in front of her. "It's okay."�

"Memories of you were beginning to fade. I'm sorry."� She looked down.

He just smiled and she looked up at him. "It's okay, I don't blame you
I spent most my time on the run from the demon hunters, they don't like us half
breeds any better than full demons."�

"You can say that again, then again normal demons don't like us
either."� Gojyo added.

Youkama smiled. "I figured you would be half like myself."�

"You can't be half, you don't have red hair or eyes."� Tejas pointed at
him. "But you know you're really cute looking."�

Youkama smiled. "Thanks."�

"I agree he is hot."� Cyran smiled.

Gojyo looked at Hakkai and Sanzo for the moment. "He's half, somehow
just looking at him I don't believe it."� Gojyo muttered to them.

"I know what you mean"� he probably got told he was a half demon,
because he possesses not physical traits of a half breed."� Hakkai mused.

"And there is that factor too."� Sanzo added just as quiet.

"What factor?"� Goku asked looking up at them.

"The not having kids factor."� Hakkai just smiled. "It doesn't make
sense"�"�

Youkama smiled a carefree smile causing everyone to look at Hakkai.
"But I'm afraid the God of Disruption won't be pleased by our actions."�

"I don't care I'm hungry"� man what I wouldn't give for some chocolate."�
Alan complained.

"Dear God he's like monkey boy and the pixie in one."� Gojyo complained.

"How do you think I feel, it's was always. "�I'm hungry I'm hungry'."�
Shuda mimicked Alan's whining mode.

"Hey shut up!"� Alan snapped.

"How on earth did you survive?"� Sanzo looked at Kagayaku.

Kagayaku sighed. "I didn't remember."�

"That doesn't make me feel any better about this trip you know."� Sanzo
replied looking at him with flat eyes.

"I know but it has to be done."�

Sanzo just sighed. "God damnit."� He cursed.

~*~*~*~

Gojyo sat there looking to the side wearily at
Youkama as he just sat there smiling watching Goku, Tejas and Alan dishing up
as much as they could get from the food Hakkai had prepared.

"�It's impossible, he claims he's half but he
looks like a full blooded demon or an ordinary human, how can he have kids?'
Gojyo thought and then looked off in the direction of Raido as she tossed her
cigarette butt in to the fire as she walked past him. He blinked as she just
smiled at him, it was a genuine smile she was happy for some reason and he
looked over to her father again.

Hakkai scratched the side of his face as he watched
Goku, Tejas and Alan pretty much digging in to all the food he'd made.

"Oh boy we might need to make a stop at the next town."� He just smiled.

Kagayaku sighed. "Even though he'd dead, he's eating like it's his last
damn meal, that damn brat cost me a fortune on my trip."�

Raido sat down next to him just jabbing at the fire Sanzo on the other
side with a cigarette.

"You're here to kill us"� why don't you?"� Sanzo asked.

"I'm a Sanzo just like the two of you, though my oath wasn't Buddha
related the same for the two of you I assume, I can't kill what's going to die
eventually by demon hands."�

"Going to die by demon hands"�"� Raido looked at him.

"The scripture you both wear, it'll get you both killed, it got me
killed."�

Raido fingered the bracelet.

"Unless you kill back"�"� He looked at Raido. "But you have only a small
number of demons left on your hit list Nakiryu before you become a demon
yourself. Once that happens that scripture will slowly kill you."�

"Don't call me Nakiryu"�"� Raido sighed.

He placed a hand on her head. "Raido then I'm sorry."� He smiled at her.

"Wait haven't you killed a thousand demons already?"� Sanzo looked at
Raido.

Raido nodded. "I have and nothing happened Hakkai said it was the blood
splatter that was the cause."�

Kagayaku looked at her. "You're already part demon, within the next few
kills it's true a part demon will turn to a full demon if blood lands on you."�
He pulled her to a hug. "So don't kill. I don't want you to die."�

"I can only promise I'll try not to die."� She looked at him and he just
smiled in reply.

She looked at him and he just continued to smile as she clung to him at
the same time before suddenly hitting him on the chest angrily. "Do you know
how much you hurt me! I was alone! A girl left alone with a bunch of monks1 I
was suddenly this holy Sanzo and I had no idea what to do! Kweitin hated me, he
hated me"�"� She looked down. "My best friend hated me."�

Sanzo just huffed as he took a drag of his cigarette, but he seemed to
listen anyway.

"Look I'm sorry I died, I'm sorry I let a demon kill me, but you got
the scripture it wanted, that's all that mattered. The Henka scripture, the
scripture of change, it's very powerful, it has the power to turn day in to
night, go through time even turn back time, but you can't use it for that or
you forfeit your rite as a Sanzo priestess."�

Raido looked at him. "Turn back time, I don't need it for that, it's
the demons I use it against"�"�

"Yes the power of taking life is part of it too, but know this, if you
change, the scripture won't, and it will slowly suck the life right out of you,
so don't kill any more than a thousand demons. Don't become a full blooded
demon."� He explained as he soothed her hair out, he just smiled at her. "Now I
need a word with the other Sanzo. I'll be back."� He stood up.

Sanzo looked up at him but without a word stood up and the two of them
walked off.

Gojyo sat down next to her. "You know crying doesn't suit you."�

Raido was wiping away the tears with her sleeves. "I'm sorry."� She just
looked at him and he caught the tail end of a sad smile. "It's hard to smile as
much as I used to."�

She looked at Gojyo. "You remind me of him sometimes"�"�

Gojyo raised an eyebrow. "Look honey if that's an insult-"�

"It's not"�"� She looked at him and still saw the tears. "You can be nice
sometimes, like he was, and you seem to care for me obsessively like he did.
That's why it wouldn't work"�"� She looked at him. "I see a dead man in you, it
hurts to much."�

"Honey"� trust me there's more to me than the similarities you see in
your grandfather, we're two different people and I'll show you that."� He stood
up and walked off.

Raido watched him as he walked to the tent. Youkama sat down next to
her and he just pulled her up to him.

"Wah?"� She looked confused.

"I'm your father just let me do this."� He smiled at her.

Hakkai let out a nervous laugh "Oh boy they sure did finish that off quick."�

Vayu looked at them flat eyed. "Its disgusting that they are so messy"�"�

Shuda just sighed. "It's like three Alan's that's disturbing"�"�

Vayu felt Hakkai give her a nudge in the back and she blushed as she
looked at him and he smiled.

"Go talk to him."�

Shuda looked up at her as she sat down next to him fidgeting nervously.
"You've grown up a lot."� He smiled. "I'm sorry I missed it."�

"It's not your fault"� you were"� ya know"�"� She looked down.

"Dead."� He offered.

"Uh yeah."�

He just smiled. "It's like I'm sitting next to your mother except she
would be beating me over the head by now for not even knowing what to say to
you apart from I'm sorry."�

Vayu smiled. "I missed those days. But you had me so worried when you
left and when Hakkai and Gojyo gave me the news, I knew, I don't understand
fully yet how I knew but I did"� and that scared me even more."�

Shuda pulled her closer to him his arm around her. "You always were
special and different, a gift from the Gods your mother said"� and I believe
her. You even saved my life once."�

"Don't flatter me, I'm not worth it, I saw it all and I didn't even
know how to save you."� She sighed.

"Hey it's okay, it was all for the Henka scripture not your fault. That
scripture alone could probably resurrect Gyumou."� Shuda pointed out.

Vayu looked over to where Kagayaku and Sanzo were talking. "That's what
they're talking about right? He wants Sanzo to protect that scripture too."�

"No that's Raido's job, he want to make sure she doesn't become a
demon."� Hakkai sat down with them.

"Can the scripture hurt her if she's a demon?"� He asked.

"More than hurt"� it could kill her, which is why he's pretty much
asking Sanzo to sleep with her and get a kid out of her."� Shuda sighed.

"WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!"� Sanzo's voice could be heard followed by a loud"�

*THUNK*

Shuda looked at them. "See? He's been doing this most of the journey
trying to find the perfect man for his daughter so he could have a grandson to
carry the scripture. All the guys he asked were really keen as well but she had
another thing coming"� Raido's violent streak that's all her mother. Her smile
though, that's all Youkama, he hid his pain behind a smile too."�

"WHAT TYPE OF SANZO PRIEST ARE YOU?!"� Sanzo exclaimed.

Raido looked over as a blushing Sanzo stalked back to the campsite and
in to his tent closing it up and shutting himself off from the rest.

It only opened a few moments later to have Cyran shoved out. "Out."� He
warned her.

"Damn"�"� She clicked her fingers. "Fourth time lucky."�

Vayu just sighed. "She never learns."�

Shuda just smiled. "He'll be a happy Sanzo if she finds the right guy,
but she's every bit her mother when it comes to men."�

Gojyo looked at the strange Sanzo priest from his tent as he rubbed his
head. "I would never go to that extreme"� that poor priestess."�

Alan stuck his head next to Gojyo. "You get used to him."�

Gojyo blinked and he looked at Alan and his eyes narrowed. "I thought
you were licking the doggy bowl clean."�

Alan shot him a glare before it passed. "Don't make us angry, otherwise
we will kill you, that's how it works, disrupt us and you die, I don't want to
kill anyone, not anyone that would hurt Kagayaku's feelings, and if you died
and Raido became upset, we wouldn't be able to live it down."�

"Dude I hate to point out the obvious but you're dead."� Gojyo looked at
him.

Alan looked at Tejas as she sat there smiling and chatting away to Goku
and sharing her chocolate with him.

"I don't want to hurt her, I sacrificed my life for her, it's a cycle
if Raido is hurt, she becomes hurt, they're good friends, so don't even test
us."�

"What makes you think that priestess would miss me if I died, it was
only a once off."� Gojyo looked on at her as she sat there her head on her
father's shoulder as he had his arm around her.

"You can't sense it then huh? She's afraid for you, if you suddenly
dropped dead, she would cry, she really would. Trust me I know this. It was the
same for Shuda when he fell in love, and he doesn't cry, he just hits me"� a
lot."� Alan rubbed his head as if he could still feel the pain of the thousand
whackings he'd got over the journey. "But he's an ass anyway."� He stood up and
walked back to where Tejas and Goku were and she smiled up at him giving him
some of her chocolate.

"Alright Peppermint! My favorite!"�

Gojyo looked on and he sighed. Hakkai crouched down next to him. "I
over heard, so that's how it works huh? We shouldn't travel with them then
it'll be dangerous."�

"So we let the girls travel with them then. No one gets hurt that way."�
Gojyo remarked.

Hakkai looked at Vayu as she sat there somewhat awkwardly talking to
her father as he seemed to tease her about something that caused her to blush
rapidly.

"I don't know if that's any better, it was the God of disruption that
sent them remember"�"� He looked at Gojyo. "He wants them dead."�

"You didn't?!"� Raido exploded as her grandfather spoke to her and her
face heated up. "GRANDDAD!!!"�

*WHACK*

Gojyo cringed as the metal fan hit Kagayaku on the head. "You are such
a pervert!!!! Besides he's a Sanzo and stiff and I have better taste than that!"�

"I can hear you"�"� Sanzo growled from his tent.

Hakkai frowned as he watched the eyes as they flashed for a moment an
angered expression creeping on the dead Sanzo's face. "We have to warn them,
it's not safe."�

"So what do we do? Just let them live and walk away? Or kill them?
Either or the girls will be really pissed off."� Gojyo remarked.

"I don't know"� but with Raido's temper and Sanzo's attitude towards her
grandfather they'll both set off the trigger soon that's for sure."�

Gojyo frowned. "Damnit"�"� He stood up and walked over to Raido she
stopped seeing him there.

"Gojyo"�"�

He just grinned. "Priestess, for your safety you'll be staying in my
tent."� He picked her up putting her over his shoulder.

"Ack! Gojyo!!! Put me down you pervert!"� She hit him on the back and
pulled out her fan clobbering him over the head.

Hakkai just smiled as Gojyo came back over and Raido looked at him as
he just smiled. "Hakkai"�"� She looked at him confused.

"Please just play along for tonight Raido, I know it's cruel sounding,
but we can't fully trust them just yet."�

She stopped hitting Gojyo and he sighed a breath of relief. "Thank God,
that thing hurt."�

He set her down in his tent and just came inside and winked at Hakkai.
"If you hear anything"� it's just-"�

"It's okay I don't need to know."� Hakkai interrupted quickly.

Gojyo grinned and closed the tent up.

Hakkai stood up and he caught the glare from Kagayaku. "It's okay you
don't need to worry, Raido can keep him in place."�

*WHACK SMACK THUD BANG*

"OW DAMNIT PRIESTESS!"� Gojyo's shout could be heard.

Hakkai just smiled. "See."�

"I'm not having her repeat Deanna's mistake"�"� He shook his head walking
towards the tent when Youkama stepped in front of him.

"For your information I had some very happy years with your daughter."�

Kagayaku looked at him and his expression turned to normal. "Sorry,
nothing personal, but because of you she was shunned at the temple while I
tried to train her, you're suppose to be a child of Taboo. Blonde hair and
silver eyes, that is not taboo"�"�

Youkama sighed and looked down. "I know I wish I could explain it but I
can't"� it's like the Gods themselves interfered."�

Hakkai looked at the two. "They probably did, Raido's previous
incarnation was a Goddess, with red hair and eyes"� going by the name Dagas"�"�

Kagayaku looked at the tent. "So that's why all signs of her getting
the scripture were screaming at me."� He mused.

Hakkai just smiled at him. "Just get some rest for tonight, we can talk
everything over in the morning."�

"Do the dead need to sleep?"� Cyran asked.

"Hey it's you!!"� Alan waved his arm about pointing at Cyran. "I know
you!!!"�

Cyran looked at him with flat eyes. "You only just noticed."�

"You introduced me to Khani!"� Alan smiled.

Shuda slapped his forehead. "I swear he's the slowest demon in all of history."�

Kagayaku looked at Cyran. "You were making sure they were born weren't
you?"�

Cyran flashed a smile. "Guilty as charged."�

"It was because of you I actually managed to asked Ashei out."� Shuda
looked at her.

Vayu blinked for a moment. "Cyran?"� She asked.

Tejas looked up curiously. "If you set our parents up, how come you
couldn't save mine and Kougaiji-sama had to raise me?"�

Cyran looked at her. "I maybe the Goddess of secrets but even that
attack on your village was a secret from me"�"�

Tejas looked down. "I wanna know what my mother was like"�"�

Alan smiled at her. "She was a good woman, I'll tell you more though
tomorrow I promise."�

Tejas smiled back at him. "Ooooooh hokay!"�
