A/N: Everqueen-YAY, they got together. Great love scene. nice and sweet. Man, Kyo's dad was a jerk.

Tohru sighed as she brushed her teeth. She and Nikkou hadn�t been home a week and she already had a cold. It was particularly nasty too. This was the third time she�d thrown up. Lucky for her it had only been soup. She rinsed her mouth and took two handfuls of cold water splashing them on her face. She walked to her room and laid down on her bed promptly falling a sleep.

�Yeah� mom�s sick.� Nikkou said to Kyo on the phone. �It�s ridiculous; she got sick on the train back.�

�Really? That�s too bad. Have you been taking care of her?� Kyo asked.

�Yeah, I�ve been cooking and stuff for her. Aunt Arisa and Aunt Saki have been coming over too. Actually Uncle Kureno and Shishi and I are going to the park today while Saki and Arisa are coming over to take care of mom. Oh yeah, she�s been more clumsy lately. Yesterday she spilled a cup of tea on herself.�

�Hmm. Is she sure it�s a cold?� the cat asked. �That sounds more like the flu.�

�She�s pretty sure. Of course I wouldn�t put it past her to down play how sick she is.� Nikkou said. The door bell rang and Nikkou and Kyo said their goodbyes. He answered the door to see his aunts and Kureno and Shishi standing there. The child looked happy to see the older boy. Nikkou out his shoes on and left with Kureno and Shishi. Arisa and Saki went into Tohru�s bedroom, gently waking the woman.

�Hey, how are you feeling today?� Uo asked.

�Fine I guess.�

�Did you and Orange Top have sex again?� the Yankee got right to the point. Tohru blushed and nodded.

�We thought so. I bought this for you.� Hana said, handing her a pregnancy test.

�I�m sure it�s just a cold. What are the chances that it would happen both times?� Tohru said taking the test from the psychic.

�We would feel better ruling that out.� Uo said.

�Okay.� Tohru get up and went to the toilet room. The other women stayed in Tohru�s room.

�What do you think?� Uo asked.

�I sense the presence of other electric waves.� Hana said.

�So she is?� the Yankee asked.

�I�m fairly certain. And if she is then I�m sure she will move back to be with Kyo.�

�We could move back too. I think Kureno would agree and Shishi hasn�t been yet.� Arisa said.

�I will speak with Ishiku. I�m sure he won�t mind. Megumi has been talking about us coming back up. I think he misses us.� They were interrupted by Tohru coming back in looking completely green, still holding the pregnancy test. The line was blue.

�I�m�� She said before sitting on the bed trying to decide what to do.

�We kinda figured.� Uo wrapped her arm around Tohru. �Are you going to tell Kyo?�

�Yes� of course but I think I should go to the doctor just to make sure.� Tohru picked up her cell phone and dialed the Sohma main house. She asked for Hatori�s office number. At the confused expressions she explained that there was a doctor that only worked on Sohmas and that she thought it would be best for him to examine her.

�But that�s a train ride away.� Uo said standing up.

�I know but I think it would be best�. Hatori? Hi, it�s Tohru. I�m going to be coming back up today.� She was quiet for a moment. �I�ll be there in about three hours. Is that okay? No, Nikkou won�t be coming with me. It�s a bit of an emergency. Yes� thank you.� Tohru hung up and looked at her friends. �I need a ride to the station.�

�I�ll drive.� Uo said as Tohru grabbed some clothes for the night. Hana called Ishiku and told him to wait for Kureno and the boys. The three of them piled into Uo�s car and drove as quickly as they could to the train station. And all to soon Tohru was on a train heading back to the Sohma main house. As promised Hatori was waiting for her, sitting on one of the benches, reading.

When they got back to his car the dragon turned to her, �why don�t you tell me what this is about.�

�I� um� you see� I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive and before I told anyone I wanted to get checked first and I thought I should come to you because if I am, then it will be a Sohma.� Tohru babbled looking at her hands folded in her lap.

�I see.� The doctor said as they drove to the main house. �Were you and Kyo intimate?�

�Yes.� Tohru blushed.

�How long ago?�

�Two weeks. My symptoms started about a week ago.� Tohru thought back. It had been just over two weeks now.

�Did you use any form of contraceptive?�

�No�

�It is entirely possible that you are. When was your last menstrual cycle?�

�Last month, but now that I think about it I�m a week late.� Tohru twisted the seatbelt in her hands. That was the end of her interrogation and the conversation until they reached the house. Tohru walked behind Hatori to get to his office when she looked over at a little boy who was surrounded by three hand servants. Two were talking while one was playing with him.

�That�s the new head of the family. Come on, you could get lost.� The dragon said. They made their way to Hatori�s office where Tohru sat carefully on one of the hospital style beds after removing her underwear like the doctor had told her. Hatori came back in the room with a small metal tray. The doctor instructed her to put her feet on the bed, which she did, and spread her legs, which she also did. Hatori picked up one of the sterile swabs and took a swipe. He took one more just to make sure. The clear solution also sat on the tray along with two little dishes. He cut the tips off of the swabs and poured the solution over them.

�It will take a few minutes for the results; try not to worry too much.� Hatori said walking back to the other room taking the tray with him, giving Tohru privacy to put her underwear back on. She lay on the bed thinking. If she was pregnant again that really would be a good thing, but she had to tell Kyo. He had a right to know and it had been agony not to tell him last time. She was almost certain the she was. Tohru lay on her side starring at the phone. If she called him now it would be saving time. Hatori came back in with her results.

�Congratulations.� He said. They both knew what he meant. �Are you going to tell Kyo this time?�
�Yes� I am. Could I have a few moments please?� Tohru asked looking at the phone. Luckily Hatori, being one of the smarter of the Madubachi trio, caught on rather quickly and left the room allowing Tohru to make her call in privet.

She dialed the number she now had memorized. Haru answered on the third ring. �Tohru, what�s wrong?� He asked.

�Nothing really I need to talk to Kyo. Is he there?�

�Yeah, just a minute.� The ox put the phone down. A moment later the cat picked up.

�Tohru? What happened? Did you get worse?� Worry evident in his voice.

�Um� I�m back� in town at Hatori�s office.�

�I�m coming over.� The cat stated like it wasn�t up for discussion.

�Actually� okay, I�ll see you when you get here.� Kyo murmured a goodbye and hung up the phone. The cat quickly ran to get his shoes, not caring that he was still in full Gee. He walked past the students, telling Haru that he needed to go. The ox nodded, taking over the class. Kyo walked to the main house faster then any person really should. All too soon he was walking to the doctor�s office. All he could think about was Tohru, why she was here� what had happened. She must really be sick if she came all the way here. Kyo opened the door going to the back where the beds where. Tohru was sleeping peacefully in the closest one. All Kyo could do was watch her for a moment. He remembered waking up next to her the morning after they� slept together. She was so warm lying next to him. He also remembered the fact that Nikkou had been cooking breakfast when they both made it into the dinning room. Kyo shook his head. Against his better judgment he woke the sleeping woman up.

She smiled and him before sitting up suddenly, �I must have dozed off.�

�You look pale, are you sure it�s just a cold?� Kyo put the back of his hand against her forehead.

�Well� no� not exactly. I�m� I� I�m going to�� Tohru the blood leave her face and the bile raise in her throat. This was so difficult, �I�m going to have a baby.� She closed her eyes as she said it.

�You�re pregnant? Really?� Kyo asked.

�Yes� I didn�t want to keep it from you� not this time.� The woman looked back at him.

Kyo smiled, �Tohru I... I meant what I said, I do love you.�

�I love you too.� Tohru smiled. This really had worked out better than she thought. Kyo kissed her lightly and turned to find Hatori, while Tohru ran to find the toilet. This really was getting ridiculous. The doctor was making notes inn Tohru�s file. Something told him that she was going to become a steady patient.

�Hatori� I have to ask you about something.� The cat stood against the door jam. He looked back into the sick room where Tohru was now washing her mouth out and motioned for them to go outside.

�I want to marry Tohru. Who do I talk to? I know someone has been acting as head of the family for Naota.�

�Didn�t you speak with him when you took your position in the Dojo?�

�No, Master did. He also released me from the cat prison.� Kyo shuddered as he thought about the years he�d spent imprisoned. The dark, drafty room. Kyo shook his head. That was behind him now.

�I will speak with the acting head of family. But you should know, the cat has never been allowed to marry; I doubt that you will now.� The doctor said lighting a cigarette. They were both quiet for a moment before Kyo went back inside to talk with Tohru. Hatori finished his cigarette and went back inside. He had a few phone calls to make. The dragon looked in on the pair. Kyo�s hands framed Tohru�s face as he whispered something to her before leaning down to give a soft kiss. Hatori closed the door quietly. He really hoped this worked. Pulling out a small leather-bound phonebook, Hatori began dialing the first number in the long list.
