After talking with Cable, Ami felt better. She had come to terms with her feelings and even started to accept the way she was.
"It's time for breakfast." cable said out of the blue.
"Huh? We've been up all night!?"
"Well... yea. Once you get started you don't stop..." he smiled at her frown. "I even fell asleep for a bit."
She hit him with a pillow.

He fell back on the bed from surprise and found himself looking at the floor. There was a red cd case on the ground. He picked it up.
"KATE'S MIX"
He put it in the player, always liking Kate's taste in music.
"What'cha doin' Cable?"
"Found a cd."
He pushed play and a song started.

Kate was halfway up the stairs when the pokenev went off.
"DAMNIT!"
She hurried back down the stairs and ran into the room where the ringing was coming from.
"Where is that damn thing?"
It rang the tenth time and she found it in a bowl that she had eaten ice cream from a day ago.
"Eww!" She said as she wiped the goo away. It stopped ringing.
It showed Ami's number
"Damn!"
She walked back to the stairs and it went off again. Surprised she dropped it, she picked it up quickly. "Hello?"
"Kate."
"Ami. Hi..."
