Cinnabar Island / Sevii Islands - Chapter 11
Author’s Note: Yikes. Halloween has come and gone! I was originally intending to release this chapter on Halloween, but I got wrapped up in work again and I just didn’t have the time to really sit down and work on the chapter again. Anyway, here it is. Hope you didn’t mind the wait!
––––––––
“I don’t believe this.” Julius murmurs, holding up the newspaper. On the front page, bold letters announce terrible news. “That new ferry that they created between Cinnabar Island and Fuchsia City was blown up and sunk by Team Rocket.”
Melina shrugs her shoulders helplessly. “I can’t say I didn’t see it coming.” She murmurs, glancing over at him. “But it doesn’t matter much now, does it? They messed up with Team Rocket and they got killed. There weren’t many survivors, and none of their names were on the list.”
“I still don’t believe it.”
“Has that guy visited you again yet?” Melina inquires.
Julius shakes his head slowly. “No. Not yet. It’s been a while, though. I assume he probably lost interest, maybe now that Nicholas is dead.”
“How do we even know that he’s dead?” Melina inquires suspiciously, quirking an eyebrow.
“Good question. I think it’s safe to assume, though, since he was on the ship.” Julius offers.
It was a sunny day in Fuchsia City. The pair of trainers had only just arrived to hear the news of the ferry being attacked and sunk, and Team Rocket was clearly to blame, survivors all mentioning having seen the helicopters, the Regice, the ice slick originally holding the ship.
Melina nods slowly. “Are you going to the Safari Zone?”
“Yeah. I figure that’ll help me clear my head a bit. Are you going to come with me?” Julius inquires.
Melina smirks. “No. I have some business to attend to. I’ll be back as soon as I can. Pidgeot, let’s go.” In a blaze of red light, her newly evolved Pidgeot spread its wings, allowing her on his back, before flapping his wings and taking off quickly, passenger clinging on tight.
Julius lifts a hand over his eyes to protect them from the debris the wings kicked up, watching the two as they head west again. “… What could she possibly need to do?” He murmurs to himself thoughtfully.
––––––––
“I think he’s coming around.”
“Good, good. Someone go find her.”
Bright light was not quite what Nicholas wanted to wake up to. For a moment, he had no idea how he got there, got here, lying on that hard, uncomfortable bed. Then, as he struggled with the straps holding his wrists and ankles down, it quickly became apparent. It was all coming back again, and he looks around quickly.
“In case you’re wondering, this isn’t heaven. Far from it. You’re in our headquarters. Team Rocket’s headquarters, anyway.” The doctor chuckles. One of few people in the room, the man in the lab coat pushes his glasses up his nose and wheels his chair closer to the table. “You’ve been out for a while. About three days, to be exact.”
“What happened..?” Nicholas groans, trying to lift an arm to rub his head, but finding the effort is futile. He utters a soft curse under his breath. “I’ve got a killer headache..”
The doctor chuckles softly. “I’d bet. Mewtwo attacked the ferry you were on, presumably to kill you, since he wasn’t there long. Just blew up the ship and left.”
“… He was attacking me.”
“How’d you survive?” The doctor quirks an eyebrow.
Nicholas shakes his head slowly. “I don’t remember. I just remember feeling this strange warmth just as the blast hit me and then everything went dark.”
“We found you unconscious not far from the wreckage.”
Finally, things began to come into view. His vision no longer blurry, Nicholas took a moment to look around. Barring the carved stone walls, the room he was in might be easily compared to an operating room. The doctor seemed nice enough, though needing a shave as if he hadn’t seen a razor in days, with short brown hair and glasses that kept slipping down his nose.
“So, what’s going to happen to me, then?” Nicholas inquires.
The doctor shrugs helplessly. “I’m not sure, honestly. They don’t let me in on that kind of stuff. My name is Benjamin, but most people call me Doc.” He smiles, and before Nicholas can respond, he lifts a hand. “But don’t worry, I already know who you are. Nicholas Gradston, son of the famous Bruno. Quite a heritage you have there.”
“I didn’t know I had a heritage. Dad never really talked about my relatives.” Nicholas murmurs, then with another tug on his straps, he closes his eyes. “Any chance I can get out of these?”
“No dice, sorry.” Ben smiles warily.
“Okay, then, where’re my Pokemon?”
“Taken away to prevent you from causing trouble and escaping. Your Absol’s been healed, and she’s fine, but she caused quite a ruckus before we got her back into her Pokeball. She’s quite the fighter. She was bred, I assume?” Ben inquires.
Nicholas nods slightly. “According to my dad. She’s still kind of young, though.”
“Old enough to have a mate, though?” Ben smirks, winking knowingly. Nicholas gives him a look that could have moved daggers, but he just raises his hands in defense. “I’m just saying. I read books, you know.”
It’s then the door opens. Flanked by two Team Rocket lieutenants, Raina enters, only giving Ben a brief nod as she slinks slowly towards the table. “Well, well. It took quite a bit of time and effort, but we finally have you. Did you think you could live a fancy, care free life forever after sticking your nose in places where it doesn’t belong?”
“You better not have done anything to William or his family.” Nicholas growls softly, tilting his head to look up defiantly at the woman standing over him.
Raina giggles softly. “Don’t worry, I haven’t touched them. Besides, now that everyone knows Team Rocket is back, no point in holding a grudge, is there?”
“So, why am I here, strapped to a table?”
“Well, because we know you’d escape. You see, despite being annoying, and a waste of time and money, you can come in handy. Mewtwo escaped, assuming you were dead, and as you can see that’s not quite the case. Something, or someone, saved you from a very painful death.” Raina sighs softly, folding her arms under her chest. “I can only assume it was that Latias.”
Nicholas’ eyes went wide. Latias. He’d almost completely forgotten about those two, their words of warning, Latias’ attempt to save him. It seems she saved him after all. “…”
“We need your help, basically.”
“I’ll never help you.” Nicholas growls, his words dripping with venom.
Raina giggles. “You didn’t even hear my proposition. You see, I’ll let you and your female friend off the hook, if you help me subdue Mewtwo.”
“And let you catch him like you did Latias?” Nicholas stares at her. “I’m not stupid, thanks.”
With a smirk, Raina runs a finger slowly up Nick’s jaw. “Feisty one, aren’t you? Yes, we do intend to capture him, to succeed where Giovanni failed, but you see, if we don’t capture him, he poses a significant threat not to just Team Rocket, but the entire world.”
“… I have bigger things to worry about.”
“Like?” Raina quirks an eyebrow.
“Something’s happening. Some kind of war. Between legendary Pokemon.” Nicholas begins. “I know it sounds crazy, but that’s what the Latias and Latios were telling me about before you interrupted.” He points out.
Raina rubs her chin thoughtfully. “I’m not sure I believe you.”
“You have to let me go. I need to find Kristina and find the other Chosen One.” Nicholas growls softly. “Now, let me go! Take me to Seafoam Island!”
“Hold on there, buddy.” Raina smirks, slowly leaning down to undo his straps, just to let him up. “I want an agreement. Tomorrow, you’ll help me track down Mewtwo. Else, you don’t step foot outside this place.”
“…”
“Do you ever want to see your girlfriend again?”
“… Fine, but I want to make sure Kristina’s alright.” Nicholas murmurs, slowly moving to sit up, rubbing his wrists.
Raina nods slowly. “Don’t worry. We saw the Skarmory. We sent a few people to pick her up and take her to the hospital on Cinnabar Island. I’m sure she’s all right.”
Nicholas breathes a sigh of relief. “So, then, you suckered me into that. Should’ve figured.” He shakes his head, slipping off the table. “Where’s Aisha? Where’re the rest of my Pokemon?”
Ben lifts a hand to speak up. “They’re in the room we’ve set aside for you.”
“Mmm. Locked away until it’s time for us to go. You won’t be able to get to them.” Raina smirks. “In the meanwhile, I think you’ll probably need more rest for tomorrow. Commander Melina will show you to your room.”
“… Melina..?” Nicholas turns just in time to see the familiar female walk into the room and narrow her gaze right at him. “You were with Team Rocket..?”
Melina rolls her eyes. “Don’t act so surprised. I didn’t go with him just because it was fun.”
Nicholas shakes his head slowly, moving out to follow her into the hallway. Much like the rest of the headquarters, the hallways were carved from stone, and some had a leak or two. Metal pathways were built just slightly over the stone floor, allowing the dripping water to filter down where people wouldn’t slip on it.
“So, why did you go with him?” Nicholas inquires as they turn a corner, making their way past a group of grunts. “There had to be a reason.”
“It was to track Mewtwo.” Melina explains. “I spotted him entering the caves nestled just north-west of Cerulean City. His old stomping grounds.” She glances suspiciously over at him for just a moment, then looks back ahead. “He’d kidnapped Julius, and it was then I realized that it would be far easier to track him if I disguised myself as a beginning trainer and followed the person that Mewtwo would be keeping track of. The trip had its shares of… ups and downs..”
“I’m sure.” Nicholas murmurs, stopping as she does at a doorway. Melina opens it, allowing him to enter. The room wasn’t as bad as Nicholas thought it might be. A bed, nightstand, table and chairs, a closet and bathroom. Not too far removed from the hotels he’d stayed in on his journey, but most hotels didn’t have stone walls. At least, not the kind that would make a Zubat feel right at home.
Melina steps in after him, but only just past the threshold, before folding her arms under her chest. “Don’t even think about sneaking around, since we’ll be locking the door. Tomorrow morning, we’ll head for Cinnabar Island, so try to get some sleep.” And, just like that, she’s gone, the shutting of the door and clicking of a lock sealing her departure, and his fate.
––––––––
Normally, sleep was easy to come by after having walked and done so much on an average day. After having rested enough, Nicholas found himself staring at the ceiling, glad to hear the click of the lock and opening of the door. It wasn’t Melina this time, however, but just a random grunt, who motioned for him to get ready to leave.
The hangar was impressively large. Large groups of grunts were already on the move, many of them with their partners. Each grunt had a particular Pokemon, but out of all the ones that Nicholas got a chance to look at as he wandered towards one of the helicopters, he noticed that few of them weren’t Dark-type. Of course, it made sense to use the strongest Pokemon available on something as strong as Mewtwo.
Climbing into the helicopter as it warmed up showed its contents: Raina, Melina, and a handful of grunts. Taking a seat next to the new leader, Nick buckled up, watching the doors close. The helicopter stayed silent mostly as they began to pull out of the hangars. Checking the side windows would afford the sight of a small army’s worth of air transportation.
“As you could probably tell, our headquarters is based out here in the Sevii Islands. We won’t tell you which one, but we’re not worried. They’d be searching for ages if you told them we were out here, anyway.” Raina finally speaks up, smirking as Nicholas pays attention to her. “I got word last night that your friend is awake. She’s fine, took a nasty hit to the head, but she’ll be alright.”
Nicholas nods slowly. “Good. I want to see her..”
“Only after we capture Mewtwo.” Raina glares at him. “Besides, it probably won’t take all that long. He’ll come out of hiding as soon as we get close to the is-“
“Raina, we’ve got something on the radar. It’s coming in pretty quickly, but it’s not from the direction of Cinnabar Island.” The pilot speaks up quickly. “In fact, I think it’s here. We can probably see it if we look out..”
Nicholas unbuckles himself and moves closer to the window, kneeling down just in time to see the creature in question. “What the..”
Melina’s eyes go wide. “… I don’t believe it. It’s a Rayquaza..”
The long, green dragon spirals down from the heavens from a southern direction, where they’d come from, but seemed largely uninterested in the fleet of helicopters, cutting right past them with a loud roar. Some helicopters move to get out of its way, and one barely manages it. Despite a slight impact with the dragon, Rayquaza moves on its pathway north.
“I thought there was only one of those!” Nicholas glances back at Raina and Melina.
“Guess you don’t pay attention. The misconception is that there are only one or two of any legendary Pokemon, and for some of them, that’s true. For others, like Rayquaza, Lugia, even Latias and Latios, who are off-shoot species of the Lugia species, there are handfuls of them, or even a large amount of them.” Raina answers, smirking. “That’s just one Rayquaza. Shame I didn’t react quicker, could have had it.”
“Are we chasing the Rayquaza, then?” The pilot inquires.
Raina shakes her head. “Just keep track of it. We’ll get to that when we finish with Mewtwo.”
“We’re approaching Cinnabar Island.”
––––––––
Staring out at the sky from the window of her room, a few floors up in the hospital complex, Kristina sighs. It had only been a short time that she awoke in this room, and her head was pounding, bandaged. She could barely remember anything that had happened. What little she did remember was Nicholas putting her on her Skarmory and sending her off towards Seafoam Islands. Ironic, since she’d always wanted to go there, and she never got to see it, having drifted unconscious as the Steel-type took her away from the iced ship.
The hospital room had been her home for the better part of a day, and she already wanted to leave. She wondered where Nicholas was, and more importantly, wondered if he was even alive. Their luck with those matters had held out for quite some time, but did his run out? She couldn’t bear to consider that thought more than she’d already had. On her bed, her Eevee quietly observed her with a frown, clearly distressed by her trainer’s troubles.
It was just a moment before she was going to turn and return to bed that she caught something out of the corner of her eye. Kristina moves to open the window and stick her head out to get a better look, eyes wide as she sees the creature. She knew it just by looking at it. Rayquaza. The long, Dragon-type Pokemon sailed over the skies, apparently intent to be somewhere.
His destination was quickly apparent. An explosion rocks the building she’s on, very nearly throwing her from the window. Panic begins to erupt, sending people running all over the place to try to get things organized once again. You could hardly tell that his target, the old, run-down mansion, was even there, leveled by the sheer strength of the Dragon Pulse aimed for it.
The Rayquaza, seemingly content for the moment, began to hover around the skies above, roaring loudly and circling over the general area of the mansion.
“I need to get out of here. Eevee, return!” Kristina calls, plucking up the Pokeball and recalling her Eevee, before working on her clothes. “These hospital gowns are horrible..” She murmurs. Once she had everything together, she quickly made her way out the door, into the huge crowd of people in the hallway, looking to get down to the lower floors, just like her.
––––––––
“Ma’am, the Rayquaza stopped. Should be able to see him ahead.” The pilot calls back to Raina, who quickly unbuckles herself and moves up towards the front, looking out. Sure enough, the dragon circling gets her to smirk. “Open the door. I want to capture this thing while it’s off guard. There’s something it’s after.”
Another explosion rocks the charred ground that the Rayquaza hovered over, courtesy of another Dragon Pulse, and Raina quickly moves to open the door to the helicopter, releasing a Pokemon. A blaze of red light summons forth a Flygon, which quickly keeps pace with the helicopter as Raina climbs on. “I’m going to capture that Rayquaza. Keep going to the drop-off point.”
The Flygon moves to break off with the group of helicopters, heading higher to meet the Rayquaza. The helicopters descend, quickly making to land on the beaches just below them, allowing their cargo to leave without incident.
“I don’t understand. Why’s she so damn happy? That mansion was where Mewtwo was. Now he’s probably dead.” Melina murmurs, heading for solid ground.
“Well, if Mewtwo really IS dead, I guess that’s why she’s trying to get that Rayquaza.” Nicholas answers, helping her up the steep incline leading towards the town.
“Somehow I don’t honestly think it will be that easy.”
––––––––
Working a Master Ball out of her pouch, Raina anticipated the easy capture as she got closer to the Rayquaza, who seemed more preoccupied with looking down at what little was left of the mansion as opposed to seeing if anything was approaching. Nothing could possibly deter her from her mission, short of a volcanic eruption.
With a burst of flame and ash, the volcano situated on Cinnabar Island began to erupt, but not as a result of the test of time. A claw slowly emerges from the top of the volcano, followed by a second, and then a red head. “No… Groudon?!” Raina stares in disbelief, movement quickly forcing her to turn her gaze to her left.
I told you that you couldn’t stop me. That voice. A body to accompany it. You’ve become a real thorn in my side, just like Giovanni. You’re messing with power beyond your control.
Raina glares, enlarging the empty Master Ball in her hand. “Mewtwo..” She growls, throwing the ball. It stops, only inches from Mewtwo’s face, before being tossed away.
Did you really think it would be that easy? You humans are frail creatures, and your Pokemon’s growth are only stunted. Mewtwo smirks, waving a hand slowly towards Raina’s steed. The Flygon’s eyes began to close, and wings stopped beating, the Pokemon spiraling towards the ground, with a helpless Raina to hold on for dear life. It was fun humoring your pathetic attempts to capture me again.
The Rayquaza, realizing its prey was no longer where the mansion was, turned its head to face Mewtwo. With a roar, it circled around and, with a burst of speed that nearly made it impossible to see, had no trouble tackling the Pokemon out and into the water with an eruption of water.
––––––––
“This is insane. We should get back to the headquarters..” Melina gasps, watching the eruption of water, the lava beginning to flow down from the side of the volcano and into Cinnabar, the Groudon slowly pulling itself to a stand and moving down, following the lava flow. “There’s nothing we can do for Cinnabar. We can’t beat a Groudon! Everyone, retreat back to the helicopters. Tell HQ we’re on our way back!”
“Wait, Melina! Raina’s falling!” A grunt points out loudly, turning everyone’s attention towards the falling Flygon, and helpless, still-awake passenger.
“Shit.” Nicholas sighs. “I’m going to regret this, I bet. Beedrill, go!”
Melina glances over at him. “Don’t steal all the glory! Pidgeot!”
The two Pokemon appear in a blaze of red energy, waiting instructions. “Beedrill, go and save Raina!”
“Pidgeot, try and help his Beedrill!”
The two Pokemon quickly take off, quickly covering ground between themselves and the rapidly descending Flygon. Raina spots the two coming and, when she realizes the Beedrill is there for her, she slowly works out a Pokeball and recalls her Flygon. “This is suicide.” She murmurs. “Beedrill aren’t very strong. I’m moving too quickly..”
But as both Beedrill and Pidgeot move in close, Raina throws caution to the wind and lands gently on the Pidgeot. The descent of their fall sends them hurtling towards the lava flow, which was quickly making its way for the ocean, but the Beedrill moves down beneath the Pidgeot, whose wings flap hard, and pushes up.
The combined power of both flying Pokemon gets them airborne again, only feet from the lava, and by that point the Pidgeot has no problem with just that one passenger, both Pokemon heading back for the beach. “I’ve never been so glad to see a Flying Pokemon before..” Raina whispers, glancing back at the Beedrill, the lava flow, and the Groudon, which turns and begins to head north.
––––––––
“Nicholas!” A call from above, as Kristina descends towards the beach on her Skarmory, smiling. “You’re alive!”
Nicholas turns his head up just in time to spot her, and.. “Kristina!” He smiles, and quickly rushes out to join her as she hops off and onto the sand, wrapping his arms around her as she jumps and throws her arms around him. “I was so worried about you. When I let your Skarmory take you, I hoped I’d done the right thing..”
“I was so worried about you..” Kristina whispers, just glad to be back in the familiar arms of the trainer she’d never had traveled with if she hadn’t blackmailed him. Or, so she figured. “I heard what happened on the news. I thought you were dead.”
“Me, too. Apparently, Team Rocket found me and picked me up. I was supposed to come here and help them capture Mewtwo, but it seems that the Rayquaza beat us to it.” Nicholas murmurs, rubbing the back of his head.
“Enough of that, you two.” Raina calls, hoping off the Pidgeot as it gets closer to the beach. “We have to get out of here and back to the headquarters. Apparently, Mewtwo and Rayquaza are headed away from the island at high speed, towards Hoenn. We can track them back there.”
Nicholas shakes his head slowly, releasing Kristina and turning to look back at Melina and Raina. “No. I don’t want to go back with you. I’m fine with where I am. I came here to help, nothing happened, now we’re going to leave before that volcano really erupts. You can track down Mewtwo, on your suicidal little mission, by yourself. I have better things to do.”
Melina shakes her head slowly. “You’re coming with us. Knock it off and let’s get moving.”
Recalling his Beedrill, Nicholas glances over at Kristina. “Can your Skarmory support two people?”
“I doubt it..” Kristina murmurs softly, glancing towards town. The lava was slowly beginning to snake down the steep incline towards the beach. “Let’s just go with them for now.”
Nicholas sighs, and turning slowly, he makes his way for the helicopters. “Tomorrow we’re going to find the other Chosen One.”
Kristina stares, and moves after him, jogging to catch up to him as he climbs into the helicopter, grabbing his hand and pulling herself up. “I don’t think we’re going to have to look far for the other Chosen One.”
“What do you mean?” Nicholas inquires quietly, moving to a sit.
“I have this sinking feeling that something’s going to happen soon..” Kristina murmurs.
––––––––
“Chaos all throughout the Kanto region. Warnings have been put out to every city as legendary Pokemon appear. Cinnabar Island’s volcano erupting violently was only one disaster, as a Groudon, long since considered to have gone back into hibernation, appeared and head towards Pallet Town. The town was evacuated when they received the news.” The reporter spoke, nearly filling the monitor in the control room as the small group stood and watched.
“This goes along with a rash of other Pokemon sightings. A Rayquaza was sighted just over Cinnabar Island as well, causing minor destruction before hurtling into the sea. A Kyogre was also spotted appearing from the ocean not far from Cerulean City, though despite heavy rain, has caused no damage. Other Pokemon long since thought to have been myths have also appeared, birds of unknown origin appearing in the skies over Kanto, battling amongst each other.”
Footage of a Moltres, Zapdos and Lugia appear on the monitor, circling slowly over what can be identified as Vermillion City. “So everything’s going to hell, then.” Melina shakes her head slowly, folding her arms across her chest. “Why do we even bother, then? If they’re all going to fight and destroy Kanto, then why do we bother?”
“Because if we capture Mewtwo, perhaps all of this will end. We now have a new reason to track him.” Raina glances over at her. “I suggest you don’t question my decisions again, Melina.”
Melina only nods and, turning on her heel, she makes her way out. “I’ll lead Kristina to her room, then. Come on.”
Kristina gives Nicholas a look, and slowly moves to follow Melina, heading out the door.
“I’m going to my room, I guess.” Nicholas speaks to Melina, who intently watches the monitor. The footage of the legendary birds replaced soon after by footage of a fierce battle between a Kyogre, who whips up a waterspout, and a Suicune, which walks on the deep waters that the Kyogre summons with each water attacks, avoiding the waterspout. “This is too much. I don’t think we have much time..”
Raina shakes her head slowly. “No. By the way, we’ve tracked Mewtwo. He’s alone again, and back in Kanto. I assume he defeated the Rayquaza. We’re leaving for Cerulean City tomorrow.”
Nicholas nods, slowly turning and walk out the door, glancing around for any sign of Kristina or Melina, but they’re long since gone. He sighs, and heads back the way he remembered to get to his room. Unlocked, he enters and shuts the door softly behind him. “Aisha, come out.”
In a blaze of red light, the Absol appears, growling and looking until, finally, her eyes spot her master, and she softens, moving right up to him. Nicholas smiles and kneels, wrapping his arms around her neck. “What are we going to do?” He sighs softly. “What if we can’t stop this? What if this happens to the other regions?”
Nicholas leans back, looking back into his Absol’s eyes.
“So much for being a Pokemon Master, eh?” Nicholas smiles.
––––––––
A knock on the door awoke Nicholas from his sleep, and groggily, reluctantly, he slowly slipped off the bed his Absol and he slept in, moving towards the door. He opens it a crack, peering outside. At first he expects to find Kristina, but instead, a female grunt quirks an eyebrow as he opens the door. “Raina wishes to speak with you regarding what happened today.” She says, turning. “Don’t bother getting dressed. Just come.”
“Not that I had much to dress with. You guys still have almost all of my stuff.” Nicholas murmurs. Wearing just his jeans, he makes his way after the grunt, who eyes him carefully as she leads him down the winding corridors to another room. She raps on the door gently, and opens the door, allowing Nicholas to enter.
As the door closes behind him, he takes a moment to glance around the room. Having expected the leader’s room to be a bit more extravagant, but in reality, it wasn’t all that different from his own room, besides a larger bed. “You wanted to see me?” He calls, glancing back at the door.
Raina steps out of the bathroom, still in uniform. “Yes, I did.” She smiles, folding her arms underneath her breasts. “I wanted to talk to you about today. Well, more specifically, I wanted to thank you personally for saving me. I know we’ve… well… I’ve caused you a lot of trouble.”
“You have no idea.” Nicholas murmurs, watching her suspiciously.
“Well, you could have just as easily not sent your Pokemon to help, and I would be little more than ash atop that lava flow. You helped save my life, and I want to repay the debt.” Raina steps towards him.
“You can repay the debt by letting me and Kristina go.” Nicholas speaks lowly, though the tone of her voice, normally loud and commanding, seemed much more feminine now.
Raina shakes her head, lowering her arms. “No. I can’t do that. Not yet. Rest assured, we’ll leave you alone when everything is said and done, but for now..”
Nicholas nods slowly, watching Raina stop in front of him. “So, how do you intend to repay the debt, then?”
Raina smirks playfully, but doesn’t speak, reaching her hands down to grasp the bottom of her uniform shirt, pulling it up and over her head. Without a bra, once the tight shirt is off, her generous breasts are allowed freedom. Nicholas’ eyes go wide briefly, his eyes drifting down from her face to her breasts, then back up. “… What..?”
With a shake of her head, Raina giggles. “Let’s enjoy tonight.” She coos, reaching forward to unbutton his jeans. “I don’t often get to enjoy this, and I make it a point not to have sex with co-workers.” She says with a sigh, forcing his jeans down to his feet after a moment.
Nicholas still can’t believe it, shaking his head slowly as he moves closer and takes her breasts into his hands, fondling them, allowing his fingers to work at her already hardened nipples. He runs his fingers along them, eliciting a shiver from the female as she gently works down her own pants, becoming just as naked as he was. “I have a question.”
“Hmm?” Raina inquires, slowly backing away from him and moving towards the bed. Nicholas’ attention goes to her ass, watching it sway slowly as she walks back towards the bed, before speaking up again.
“Have you ever… had sex with a Pokemon?” Nicholas inquires.
Raina stares back at him over her shoulder, and she nods her head slowly. “I did. Only a few times.”
“How common is it?” Nicholas inquires, slowly moving towards the bed and climbing up onto it with her, watching her lay down.
“More common than you’d think. Most people just tend to keep quiet about it.” Raina smirks playfully. “It’s generally considered taboo, like incest, but that doesn’t stop people from doing their Pokemon, or their cousins.”
Nicholas nods. “What Pokemon?” He inquires, slowly moving his head between her legs and licking slowly along the dampened slit, trying to get her more ready for his intrusion.
“Mmnn… you’ve got some experience with this, don’t you?” Raina groans softly, reaching a hand up to cup a breast and squeeze it gently, her other hand moving up to quickly occupy the other. “I have an Empoleon. When I first started as a trainer in Sinnoh, I decided to take a Piplup. He grew up strong, and tall, and we were inseperable.”
“I still have him, of course… oohhh..” Raina moans softly. “A little faster, love… and focus on the clit..” She gasps when he wraps his lips around her clit, licking at it. “Mmnnn..! Yesss… one day, he just came to me, sporting an erection. I didn’t know what he wanted, but he made it clear after a while. I still have my Empoleon, but I never find the time for this kind of thing. He goes for so long..”
Nicholas nods, licking his lips as he stops briefly. Raina takes that opportunity to grab his shoulders and pull him up to bring them face to face. “But enough talk, love. I want you inside me.” She whispers to him, gently reaching down to grab his shaft and line him up.
With little hesitation, Nicholas slides deep inside her, her tight folds opening up to accept him, before squeezing down on him gently, milking him instinctively. “God..” He gasps softly, leaning down to nibble and suckle softly at her neck, which causes Raina to gasp, herself, her body shivering. “Good guess. I love that..” She pants softly.
If she was wet before, she was certainly wet now. She grinds back against him as he takes her harder, wrapping his arms down beneath her ass, lifting it up so he can angle and hit her g-spot. She growls softly in pleasure, meeting each thrust with a soft downward thrust of her own. “Fuck..” She cries, closing her eyes. “Harder. Please, Nicholas… as hard and fast as you can. It’s so good..” She moans loudly.
Nicholas smirks, and, having no qualms with taking her as hard and fast as possible, especially with their past transgressions, he does so, pounding his shaft deep inside her with each thrust, forcing her body into climax with little effort. It was clear that she didn’t do this often, with just how easily he was able to throw her body over the edge.
“Mmm. We’re… not even close from done, Nick..” Raina coos softly, recovering from her first strong climax. “Not until you fill me with your seed..”
––––––––
Once Raina was asleep, after all was said and done, Nicholas carefully slipped out of bed. Or, so he figured she was asleep, and now was a good time to take advantage of the situation. He works slowly through her pack, working through the Pokeballs in them. There were a few Master Balls, but only two were full. The stickers on them differentiated which one. One was a snowflake, the other a rock. Nothing to indicate a Latios. He opens the other Master Balls, but their contents are empty, ready to be filled with a Pokemon.
“If you’re looking for the Latios, I have him hidden away. I knew you might try something like that.” Raina calls tiredly from the bed, slowly sitting up to look at him.
“Sorry, but I think you should let him go.” Nicholas murmurs softly.
“Let him go? Why? He’s a rare Pokemon.” Raina yawns softly, moving to lay back down again. “Come lay down and sleep with me. You can go back to your room in the morning. Maybe we’ll talk about it after all of this is over with.”
Reluctantly, Nicholas slowly moves back towards the bed, and take up his spot laying on the bed next to her. He wraps his arms around her waist, and pulls her close, enjoying her warmth. Though, he knew there wouldn’t be much sleeping.
––––––––
At first, Nicholas thought he was dreaming, and a familiar voice calls from the darkness. Things are foggy, difficult to understand, but soon he sees the source of the voice as darkness begins to turn into light. The Latias he’d seen before.
“You’re alive..” Nicholas blinks.
The Latias nods slowly. “Will take more than that to keep me from freeing my mate, but are you okay?”
“I’m fine. I tried to release your Latias, but Raina’s hid him somewhere. I’m sorry for intruding into your dream, but I wanted to insure you were alive, and communicate with you without entering the cavern.” Latias apologizes with a smile.
Nicholas shakes his head slowly. “Don’t worry about it. Did you find anything about the other Chosen One?”
“Yes, actually. I did.”
“And?”
Latias smiles. “She’s close by.”
