Chapter Eleven: The Rabbit and The Bull

I watch as Gabriella chases Moses off with a broom. I had to smile as my friend and neighbor Mu side-step as Brie(her nickname) swings the broom like how her Master swings Excaliber. Moses didn't stand a chance against Brie unless Shura decides to have pity on him and stops Brie. I look over at Twilight who is sitting on Ikki's lap drinking cocoa while he's telling her what is happening. I could see a smirk on my goddaughter's face. Young love.

Mu just smirks knowingly at me knowingly as he watches the scene before him. I knew what Mu was thinking and I usually do, but would someone like Brie want someone like me? I still I think it's because Brie and Twilight don't like bullies and idiots.

" Big brother Aldebaran, why do you think you are not worthy of love?" Twilight blurted out rather bluntly making me blush a beet red.

I didn't answer because I didn't want to face my worst fear.

"Well, you must know not all girls are interested in looks or wealth because if this was the case I wouldn't be with Ikki. But you should know I love you like a little sister would love her brother. It's your gentleness and kind-heart that attracts people to you not your looks or what you can give them."Twilight said softly leaning up kissing my cheek.

I mumbled something about perspective little blind sister's while Ikki chuckling.

I smiled in spite of myself. I looked in time to see Shura shaking his head in disbelief as he asked,

"What started this smackdown?"

"Moses was being an obnoxious asshole to Aldebaran so Brie decided to smack him into next year. I held Twilight back I figure Brie can beat him like a throw rug. Now if the two ladies had pounced I am pretty sure Moses would wishing he had stayed in bed." Ikki answers Shura.

Shura only shakes his head in disbelief as we all heard Moses yell,

" Someone call off this little psycho, ouch, ouch."

Then we all heard Brie snap,

"Psycho?!, Oh, I'll show you psycho. You overstuffed whale. Twilight and I had warned you male Silvers to leave Aldebaran alone but no you bunch of overstuffed jackasses don't and since Aldebaran won't do anything about it because he's too nice and gentle. And since no one else will stick up for him except for Twilight and me."

Kanon and Saga joined us as we all heard Moses yelp Brie strikes again with the broom. Then it went quiet as Death Mask and the other Gold Saints joined us. I saw Twilight smirk knowingly.

Then we all heard footsteps running toward Taurus with an occasional yelp from Moses as Brie swung the broom. Yet no one made a move to help Moses. Everyone looked over at Shura or me except Twilight who just continued to sip her cocoa.

"Aldebaran, please call off Brie. " Moses begs.

I didn't move with Twilight glaring at me as she kept on sipping her cocoa as we all saw Brie swing the broom at Moses's legs knocking him on his ass and she raised the broom with a dangerous glint in her eye.

"Sword Dancer, that's enough because I am certain he has learned his lesson." Pope Shion stated. He looked like he was trying not to laugh.

Moses nodded his head earnestly while holding his hand defensively. Brie lowers the broom slowly while still glaring daggers looking at me meaningfully.

Moses's is biting on his lower lip looking rather sheepishly as he looks at us and sees Twilight glaring daggers at him as well. He whimpers in defeat.

"Aldebaran, I'm sorry for being a bully and a fool. My behavior is very unbecoming of a Saint of Athena. Please forgive me,"

I nodded and waves him off. Moses flees as Twilight and Brie growl. The others burst out with laughter as Twilight and Brie high-five each other.

I cleared my throat gaining everyone's attention including Brie's.

"Brie, may I ask you why do you like me? I'm not exactly the handsome of the Saints or the smartest of the Saints or the wealthiest of the Saints either?' I asked looking at the ground blushing.

I felt someone cup my chin as I am now looking up into a pair of beautiful hazel eyes. I had forgotten Brie was the tallest of the Amazon and she's a few inches shorter than myself which is what I adored about her.

"Aldebaran, I'm not shallow like some girls because looks don't matter to me. I don't care if you're rich or poor nor do I care if you're smart or not because let me put it to you this Death Mask isn't very smart that's why he has Aphrodite to think for him. (The statement had everyone chuckling while Death Mask glares coldly at Brie), but I do love your kind heart and gentle soul and that is what made me fall in love with you in the first place." Brie stated with confidence releasing my chin smiling knowingly.

I was taken by surprise as I leaned against one of the pillars nearest me pondering her words further. I began to blush as her words sunk in. Briana cupped my chin smiling.

"I meant what I said, Aldebaran," Brie stated, "I do love you."

I smiled lovingly finally convinced. I leaned down and kissed my Rabbit.

Everyone cheers as I hid my face in her shoulder as I whispered,

"I love you, too, my Rabbit Princess.

Twilight and Brie smile at each other.
