I do not own Rurouni Kenshin, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
chapter 12
GUESS WHAT??????? I don’t own Ruroni Kenshin characters. I just want to manipulate the characters for my pleasure. Any and all other characters are mineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee k. Please read.
White_angel: Ahh, I’m almost always too lazy to sign in. Its weird, ackkkkkkk I typed on a laptop and now the keys are harder to push jeez. Lol. I’m not quite sure where this fic is going, but I was kinda thinking of going that direction except the person has already been introduced, just hasn’t had many appearances lol. Ohhhhhhhhhh idea popped into head lol anyway thanks so much for reading and reviewing and I am glad you liked it. That chapter was hard to write. This one may be the same way, who knows?
Girl: Well I want to say glad you think so lol, but I know there are fics out there way better than mine lol. (Thank you though makes my day brighter) I am glad you like the fic and I recommend Shin-no-shibo and Silver Miko’s fics theirs are awesome. The yahoo group Shinobi love has some great fanfic writes. Its only for Aoshi and Misao though so...............................................if you like Misao and Aoshi pairing stories I would say come join lol. Thanks for reading and reviewing and glad you like the story.
Anime_luva00: It’s easy to follow??????? (Eyes are wide) Okay yeah I think it gets a little complicated in a few areas and boy was that hard lol. I try to make it simple cause if I don’t well ummmmm I get confused and have to re-read my story once again. Lol like my Fushigi Yuugi one and my Kaoru Kenshin one it’s called ummmmmmmm oh yeah A Twist With Spice. Ughhhhh I need sleeeeeep zzzzzzzz. Anyway yeah gosh I hate these keys typing on a laptop and then going back to a regular computer its hard lol. Okay yeah sorry I’m glad you like it and its not tooooooo predictable. I try to add a little humor so its not so sadddddd cause those stories make me depressed and I can write angst when it comes to being wounded (would that be considered angst or no????) But sadness wise is hard for me. This is a try at a new story type and I hope it turns out okay. They\'re very few chapters’ left I want to stop it at chapter 20 and do a squeal. I already know where I want to start that too lol. Anyway glad you liked it and all I hope you enjoy reading the rest. Glad you like the story.
The Last Samurai: Okay yes you Hentai, lol. I will get to the lemon, but she has to regain her memory which won’t happen for another couple of chapters so ya gotta wait k... lol Thanks for reading and reviewing. Glad you like the story.
LSR-7: I guess I shouldn’t reveal this but Aoshi will not tell her anything until something major happens lol. So she’ll get some more flashbacks. Ahhhh just thinking about that chapter is a work of art itself lol. That chap will have some major angst. That’s all I’ll reveal for now lol. Thanks for reading and reviewing and glad you like the story.
M.S Arashi Sumeragi: You were my 100th reviewer. Thanks, and I didn’t mean to offend ya if I did, it’s just my story was all. Anyway thanks for reading and reviewing and glad you liked it.
CoNfUsEd BaKa: Yeah I finished this at like two in the morning so I wasn’t in the mood to check it over. I’d had a bad day and finished while not in the mood so the ending wasn’t that wonderful. I don’t have a beta reader because no ones offered, except for the one chapter. Thanks for telling me and I should look over that one I will when I get time. 39 hours kinda makes me tired that and I hadn’t had a day off in 9 days so... Glad you liked the chapter and thanks for reading and reviewing.
Thanks to all the others who reviewed. I hope you all like the chapter and I understand my spelling isn’t the best if you do see a mistake its nice to let me know. If I comment on it it’s not to offend you. I just like to tell you the reason and all, yeah an excuses I guess. Anyway on with the story...
Misao had one of the pieces of paper in each hand. She placed the one for Aoshi on the black, glass, Coffee table. She stared at the number and the name written below it. ‘Kaoru’. ‘I don’t know if I should call the number or not, I mean if something did happen between us, Aoshi should be the one to tell me.’ Misao crumpled the piece of paper in her hand. ‘I also need to find out, I want to regain my memory.’
Misao heard the front door open and slowly stood, a grimace on her face as her wound started to ache. ‘Damn it, stupid pain killers.’ Misao walked toward the hallway, holding her side. ‘Wouldn’t Aoshi have said something by now?’ The question arose in Misao’s mind. She got to the doorway and looked around it. “AAHHHHHHHHHHH!”
________________________________________________________________________
Aoshi sighed as he walked through the park. ‘It’s only been a couple of hours since she awoke.’ Aoshi sat on a bench, his elbow resting on his knees, his hand covering his face. ‘Why do I keep remember that night?’ Aoshi growled in annoyance, another flash came to his mind.
His arms giving out and he dropped his weight on her, he tried to roll off of her, but Misao’s grip around his neck wouldn’t let him move. He managed to lift as much weight as he could off of her.
‘She held on to me like I was going to leave her.’ Aoshi sighed as his thoughts ran rampid, ‘Her embrace, her smell it won’t leave me. Her slight touches the glimmer in her eyes, the slightest facial movements. All so familiar, I want to see all them once more. Her smiles haven’t had much effect to them lately. She smiles whole heartily, but it’s not the same. The smile I want was only seen by me. I want to see her face in.....’
“ARGH, WHY WON’T THIS FEELING LEAVE!” Aoshi hollered out loud. Birds squawking, as they flew away from the supposed danger. His breathing deeper as he tried to get his thoughts, under control once more. ‘To have her around and not be able to touch her is agony, pure agony.’ Aoshi stood his mask going back into place and his eyes steeling over to their cold stare.
Aoshi slowly walked back to his house. The park was a good mile from his house, but the walk helped him relax a little. His mind could also think, though thinking today had not helped him one bit. Each time he tried to think of the present situation, his mind would wander back to the night they had shared together. ‘I’ve been with plenty of other women, yet I had never strived to bring as much pleasure to them as I had with Misao. I also wanted her to stay covered around others. I want to protect her, and yet I can’t.’ Aoshi growled at his wandering thoughts once more.
“AAHHHHHHHHHHH!” Aoshi heard Misao’s scream, as he got closer to his house. His feet seemed to move into a run on they’re own. He made it to the front of the house, screeching around the corner almost loosing his balance on a few scattered leaves. Aoshi’s hand gripped the side of the house to keep from falling. He propelled himself forward wincing as his rose bush scraped his thin pants, cutting his legs slightly.
Aoshi reached the front door. “MISAO!” He called out of breath.
“ITS SO COLDDDD!” Misao cried as she shook her arms. Aoshi lifted his head and looked straight ahead. Misao was standing in the middle of his hallway, dripping wet with a horrified Iris clutching an empty bucket to her chest.
“Iris,” Aoshi tried to breath while talking, “I thought I told you not to come around for awhile.
“Ah yes Aoshi-san you said that, but I thought you meant starting at the end of the week, not right away.” Iris scanned the soaking wet girl. “I can see why you didn’t want me around lately, hopefully you will still need my services.” Her eyes went back to Aoshi, catching his chilling gaze.
“If I were going to replace you, which I highly doubt I could find someone to do the job, I would let you know when I started looking.” Aoshi’s gaze swept over Misao, noticing how the cloth clung to her curves. Aoshi licked his lips unknowingly. “What happened?”
“Well Aoshi-san. I was going to bring some cool well water in for you. It still needs to be boiled and all, but you’re water supply was running low yesterday. I opened the door, I thought it odd it was unlocked, but I started walking toward the back so I could get the filtering stuff and she came around the corner from your sitting area and I reacted out of haste and threw the water at her.” Iris stated as she handed the bucket to Aoshi’s waiting hand.
“I locked the door when I left,” Aoshi stated dryly. His eyes meeting Misao’s, “Go ahead and leave Iris, I’ll take care of the water.”
“Thank you Shinomori-san,” Iris bowed as she walked to the front door closing it behind her.
“She refers to you by your first name?”
“Yes she’s been serving me for a long time. She does the household chores, I cook for my self and do my own laundry but she does the rest.”
“ACHOO!” Misao sneezed as she pulled the cloth away from her skin. “I guess I need to go change.”
“I would recommend taking a shower first.” Aoshi placed the bucket on the table near the doorway of the sitting area.
“Ummm,” Misao looked at the floor.
Aoshi looked her over, “We need to get your wound cleaned now Misao.” Aoshi lifted her bridal style in a flash as he raced up the stairs.
“Isn’t sssssssshh,” Misao sucked in breath as she wrapped her arms around Aoshi’s neck. “...Well water cleaner than normal tap?”
“Yes it is, but we still need to clean you’re wound.”
“How?” Misao stared down at her chest.
Aoshi made it to the top of the landing and stopped. “I’ll have to clean it Misao.”
Misao stiffened, “Oh okay.” Misao’s heartbeat sped up at the thought.
Aoshi walked to his room and set Misao on his bed. “I’m going to have to take off your shirt. Misao shook her head. He was right the wound was stinging now. It was from the wet bandages. Aoshi removed her shirt and concentrated on the wound. He unwound the bandage getting to the part touching the skin. “This is going to hurt.” His eyes looked up at hers and she nodded, her eyes filled with unshed tears.
Misao winced at pain as the bandage pulled at her skin. “Mmmm,” With a slight tug the rest of the bandage came off. “It stings!” Misao complained, as Aoshi stood and walked into the bathroom flicking the light on. Aoshi rummaged through the medicine chest and found some antiseptic spray. He rummaged below the sink and found some bandages and medical tape. He grabbed a cloth and set the bandages and antiseptic on the counter as he dampened the cloth. He wrung the excess water out and picked the other things up, making sure not to get the bandages wet.
He dropped the stuff on the bed next to Misao and focused his eyes on her wound. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He picked the cloth up and started to clean the wound. He kept looking up at Misao as she whimpered in pain. He sighed as he picked up the antiseptic spray and popped the top off and sprayed the wound. “Its cold and that stiiiiingsssss,” Misao about jumped off the bed. Aoshi wrapped his arm around her to hold her still.
“Misao you have to keep the wound clean. Stop moving.” Her hands went to his shoulders and squeezed his shoulders. She bent over a little and rested her head on his shoulder.
“Aoshi it just stings so much.” Misao cried as the pain lessened. Aoshi kissed her neck softly, which helped her relax a little. She sat back up and stared at Aoshi’s head as he wrapped the bandages around her. “Why did you...?”
Aoshi glanced at her as he taped the bandage. He stood and picked Misao up once again.
“Aoshi?” Misao questioned.
He looked at her sadly and then proceeded out the door down the stairs and to the sitting room. He laid her on the couch and continued to walk back toward the doorway.
“Aoshi, the doctor said you need to treat me like you did when I had my memory. If you don’t I may never gain my memory back.” Misao growled.
“I can’t do that Misao, no matter how much you ask. Leave it alone.”
“Sano told me to give this to you. She pointed to the pieced of paper on the coffee table. You’re suppose to call the number, I guess right away.” Misao dropped her hand and looked at her lap. “Why can’t you treat me the same?” Misao threw her head up, tears flying from the motion. Her eyes widened as Aoshi’s lips crushed hers and his arms held onto the side of her shoulders. Misao responded to the kiss and wrapped her arms around Aoshi shoulders. Misao broke the kiss with a groan of pain. Aoshi stood up and quickly left the room.
“Aoshi, I’m sorry.”
Yeah this chapter is way shorter than usual, but I don’t know why but I want to end it there. I hope you guys aren’t too mad. I just have to end it there to start the next chapter in the right spot. I’ll try to get the next chapter up really quickly. Well gotta go. I just want to cry, I can’t play volleyball because there’s a rule that you can’t play if it’s your 5th year in high school. Well anyway so that’s why the end of the chapters sad cause that’s how I feel. So don’t be too mad k.
