Eleven

The Next
Morning"�

Sanzo was the first one up and he saw the other Sanzo party still
sleeping all except Youkama as he sat over the fire cooking breakfast. He
turned round and looked at Sanzo and just smiled, it was the same smile he'd
seen on Raido's face.

"Morning, you're up early."� Youkama just continued to smile.

It was partly annoying because he couldn't read the half demon,
couldn't read him at all; there was no evil from him, not a single vibration
that could warn him that they were trouble.

Youkama flipped his head to the side knocking the semi long hair from
his face.

"I could say the same for you."� Sanzo remarked as he sat down next to
Youkama.

"Someone had to stay watch in case of an attack."�

"How very noble of you."� Sanzo drawled, the hint of sarcasm obvious to
the half demon.

Youkama just laughed, it was a good-hearted laugh, almost as if he
didn't have a care in the world. "Kagayaku was right about you, you're not the
normal Sanzo priest and he's meet a few of them."�

"Sounds like you're very fond of your old friend."� Sanzo looked at him
wearily as Youkama stirred the contents round in the pot.

"He wasn't when we met, he hated me, hated what I was, he was angry
that I had infected Raido with demonic blood, but that didn't change anything,
he still loved her loved them both, took him a while to warm up to me."�

"Silver eyes and blonde hair I could mistake you for a normal human you
know. Why don't you"�"� Sanzo trailed off.

"Have hair the color of fire and eyes red as blood. I used to have eyes
that color, my own mother, my mother saw them and she hated it, she hated me, I
caused her so much pain, she hated the color of my eyes so much that she ripped
them right out of my head, she took my eyes, took the sight and my eyes right
from me. I cried so much blood that day."� Youkama looked off in to the distance
to Gojyo's tent. "I know what he's suffered, I know it so much, it's so close
to home, she went insane, my father a spell caster gave me a transfusion, he
gave me the very eyes from his head and I was able to see, he was very powerful
like that."� He paused in stirring the breakfast around. "I did have red hair
too but that was after I left Raido with her mother, I told myself I would not
use the spells I was taught anymore, it turned out the more I used them the
lighter my hair became, till it was at this color, a blonde that was seen as
almost holy."�

"So you lied."� Sanzo remarked.

"Only about my hair color, I used so much power fighting Raido's step
father my hair returned to it's blonde color, but he killed me, he killed me
left and took over my family, he tried to raise Raido as his own, but like my
mother he saw blood in her, he hated demons hated all of them, half breeds
included. His brother died by a demon's hands and he blames all demons kills
and kills to avenge his brother's death, so much it's turned him insane a
powerful kind of insane."� Youkama explained and he looked a Sanzo just watching
him and he flashed a smile. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have lied, but it's just I
didn't really remember my own hair color it's always been blonde, as far as I
remember."�

"So you're that powerful a spell caster then? Hmph."� Sanzo scoffed.
"I'm not impressed. That doesn't explain how Raido even came in to existence,
half-breeds can't breed."�

"I'm not telling you to impress you, I'm telling you, because you
asked. As for Raido's birth I was just as surprised, but it was divine
intervention on Cyran's part, she did something to me and she told me, Raido
had to be born and she had to have a powerful heritage, but with great power
like this comes great hurt and suffering beyond my abilities as a mere spell
caster."� Sanzo saw the moment of seriousness cross his face. "I love Raido so
very much and I hate that I had to die and leave her to suffer like she did,
but I thought he only hated me and I saw what he did to the other demons in the
community, I thought if I left that it would be okay, he would take good care
of them"�"� Youkama's voice trailed off. "When I died I said I was sorry, but it
didn't matter, Raido couldn't hear me and I couldn't save her, I couldn't save
my own flesh and blood."�

A hand touched his shoulder and he looked up seeing Hakkai standing
there, he just took the spoon from Youkama and sat next to him and stirred the
contents round. "It's okay, we all have our dark pasts, and I never think I
understood the true content of the suffering that went on out there."�

"So you're telling me if that damn priestess took up spell casting
she'd turn out to be blonde?"� Sanzo looked at him. "I find that very hard to
believe."�

Youkama smiled. "Well it actually takes years of training, patience and
a lot of practice. She's not like Tejas in that regards, she doesn't have that
power, she just has a different kind of power."�

"Tejas' power."� Hakkai looked on. "So you know of Tejas?"�

"Yeah Alan said when she was born that the sky looked like it was on
fire, then they were attacked they didn't even get the chance to name her
before the other demons attacked, it was like they were possessed, is the way
he described it, there eyes blank and dark, like it was evil that had come."�
Youkama explained.

"So your cousin Kiah, he's still alive right?"� Hakkai asked.

"Yeah like me he's also a half demon, but he's a wonderful person also
a spell caster, after Shuda died he took his family and went away, no one knows
where he is or even if he's been affected by the black mist."� Youkama looked
off in to the distance.

Hakkai just smiled. "I'm sure if he's as powerful as you are or even
half of it, that he would be fine."�

~*~*~*~

Raido was up and she watched Kaika and Sherekhan helping in the closing
down of the campsite. They were an interesting pair choosing to vanish and
reappear at will, okay maybe her paranoia was in overdrive since they only did
just go to bed early, she watched them for a moment as torturous as the two
were to Gojyo, she couldn't help but feel something was up with them.

"Morning Raido."� Hakkai smiled as he handed her a bowl.

"Huh?"� She looked at the bowl.

"Breakfast since you slept in, it's on the go I'm sorry."�

Raido just smiled and she waved her hand about. "Oh no that's fine
thanks."� She sat down to eat what she could before they were about to head out.

She paused in her eating to look up as Kagayaku
Sanzo stood over her. "We're going to go our own way for your safety I fear if
we meet again it will be as enemies."� He just smiled at her and crouched down
as she sat there eating and looking at him.

"It's okay, I don't mind."� Raido smiled.

Kagayaku sighed. "You smile like your father when you do that, but if
you're truly happy in doing this, then I won't stop you and if I do I want you
to know it's no longer who you knew me as, so if it comes down to it, use the
scripture and make it quick."� He smiled at her suddenly and she blinked as he
placed a hand on her head like he had when she was only a child.

"Granddad"�"� She watched him as he stood up and walked off to leave her
pondering on his words if only for a moment before her father came over
obviously to say goodbye.

She placed the now empty bowl to the side and stood up and accepted his
embrace and she rested her head against his chest. "Where are you going now?"�

"To see your mother and let her know I've been revived if even for just
a little while I want her to know the truth of what happened and what your step
father did."� He replied as he stroked her hair. "I'm sorry I couldn't of been
around longer to be the better father for you."�

"It's okay, it's just nice to dream on what could have been with you as
my father."� She smiled.

"Perhaps you would have had better manners when regarding the three aspects."�
He smiled.

Raido looked up at him for a moment obvious shock on her face. "You
know about that?"�

"Telling them where they could stick their mission, oh yes, even the
dead talk about the living we may not be around but we do know what's going
on."�

Raido's face blushed. "I'm sorry."� She apologised.

"Don't tell me, tell them."� He laughed.

Raido looked over catching the other father daughter good-byes Vayu
with her father the two in a father daughter embrace and Shuda leaving her with
his last words making her go bright red in the face more than likely Hakkai was
the point of teasing, while Tejas with Alan though it was more of an exchange
of a see you later and a chocolate swap.

She felt her father kiss her on the top of the head. "I'll catch you
later and you know what to do if we end up against you, the God of disruption
will more than likely try to pull something to turn us against you."�

"I don't know if I could"�"� Raido began as she looked down.

He touched her on the top of the head. "It's okay"� I know you can, just
remember we're already dead and it'll just end our suffering, we may seem like
we're living but we will be going through a decomposition again as we walk this
earth, the pain of rotting away as you live is far more painful that way. It's a
far crueler fate to be brought back to suffer like that. But at least I got to
see you again and I get to see your mother again."�

Raido smiled at the thought she knew how much her mother had missed her
father it would be nice to even contemplate the smile that would cross her
mother's face on seeing him again, even if she did suddenly slap him around a
bit before yelling at him for leaving her. She could see it but then again she
couldn't as she saw him smile down at her, the same smile she had been told was
an image of her father's.

"Tell her I'm doing okay and that everything is fine."� Raido remarked.

He smiled more happily this time at the thought on seeing her again. "I
will."�

She stepped back and watched as the four just walked off in to the
forest, the same forest that she'd been told by Vayu in the early hours of the
morning Sherekhan and Kaika had returned from, strange how the two hadn't been
around when the old Sanzo party appeared.

~*~*~*~

Several hours
later"�

The two parties had made yet another stop for lunch when Sherekhan and
Kaika had wandered off.

Vayu looked at Raido as she sat there looking off to where they'd
wandered off. "I can sense the suspicion from here. What's up?"�

Raido looked at her. "They come and go as they please. I shouldn't be
suspicious but I am, have you read them and seen where they have gone to?"�

"I can't seem to read them like I can everyone else, it's weird
actually."� Vayu replied as she lit her cigarette.

Raido had lit her own a few minutes before and was already half way
through as she sat there with Vayu her hand drumming on her knee as she sat
there.

"They're not as annoying as I had hoped for especially since they're
hardly ever around."� Raido sighed.

"Gojyo still bugging you huh?"�

"Bugging me if only it were just that, a bug I could squash or swat
away, but it's not."� She sighed defeated.

"Why not just-"� Vayu began but Raido shot her a look and Vayu just
shrugged. "Or not."� She finished looking over in the direction of where the two
had headed.

Gojyo was too busy arguing with Goku to notice his own half sister
missing.

Cyran sat down with the two and she nodded. "They have some serious
secrets, but it's okay, they're just crushes."�

"Crushes?"� Vayu looked at her quizzically.

"Kaika has a crush on Dokugakuji and Sherekhan has a crush on
Kougaiji."� Cyran explained.

"How'd you find that out?!"� Raido exclaimed.

"Tejas and myself worked it out, she is the Goddess of occult and sex,
plus I am the Goddess of secrets and trust me those crushes are a secret."�
Cyran explained.

"So you think they're running to Kougaiji filling them in on the
progress report?"� Vayu asked.

Cyran shrugged. "Probably, but if they are they sure can move fast,
considering they needed a ride in to the next town."�

Raido just sighed defeated. "Oh I give up I just don't care, the boys
can handle them."�

Vayu let out a breath. "Well I'd rather we stayed alive thank you so I
might see if I can read them when they're not expecting it, it's like they've
got these barriers protecting themselves from me."�

"Well g'luck, I'm just enjoying the female company after all those two
are more women than you two and I can actually have a proper woman on woman
conversation with them."� Cyran teased before walking off.

Raido rubbed the back of her neck. "Well I was raised by monks after my
grandfather died."� She just laughed. "Kinda gives me an excuse."�

"She's dead that's all there is to it. I am not a man."� Vayu growled
annoyed.

Hotou Castle"�

Kougaiji stood before his stepmother as she looked down on him. "Have I
told you not to pursue the Sanzo party?"� She asked.

"You have"� mother. But you didn't say anything about Sherekhan
and Kaika."� He replied.

Koushou just smiled. "My my aren't you the sneaky one, in every aspect
just like your father. But why these two the are no more powerful than your
other followers, so what makes these two so special?"�

Kougaiji looked up at her. "Sherekhan is Dokugakuji's younger sister,
which makes her Sha Gojyo's sister, even if she is only a half sister, he
trusts her and that's all we need for them to do, infiltrate their team and
lead them to the demon town we have waiting for them."� Kougaiji explained.

"This plan of yours better work."� Koushou looked down on him.

"They should be reaching the town of Peng-xae not
tomorrow but the day after, all will be revealed then."� Kougaiji replied.

~*~*~*~

Sanzo sat with Hakkai and he looked at Vayu and Raido the two of them
just talking among themselves.

"They've noticed too."� Hakkai mused. "Sherekhan and Kaika up and
leaving so often every time we stop."�

Sanzo looked over as the two came back through the forest and Gojyo
stopped strangling Goku for a moment and let the teenager hit the ground.

"Finally the kappa has noticed she's leaving and coming back."� Sanzo
remarked.

Gojyo walked up to his sister and she looked at him. "Shere, where are
you running off to?"�

"We heard this area has a natural hot spring and we're looking for it!"�
Kaika smiled. "And we found it!"� She exclaimed.

"A hot spring."� He slapped his forehead.

"Yeah! We have to show you!"� Sherekhan smiled.

"Did someone say hot spring?"� Cyran popped up next to Gojyo leaning
over his shoulder.

Gojyo looked at her for a moment and he grinned, obviously five hot
chicks in bathing suits entering a hot spring was something to occupy his mind
for a few minutes.

"WATER!!!"� Tejas bounced up and around them. "I wanna see! Can I? Can
I? Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh? Pretty please with peppermint chocolate?!"�

"Sure!"� Sherekhan smiled. "It'll be good for the dragons too, they can
have a bath too they'll love it and it'll be just the relaxation we need."�

"I don't know"�"� Vayu looked at them wearily. "Do we have time for that
kind of stop?"�

Hakkai rubbed the back of his neck. "Well what do you say Sanzo, it
will rest our muscles up from sitting down in a jeep, plus I'm sure Hakaryu and
Fafnir could use it after all?"�

Sanzo looked at Raido. "Priestess what do you say?"�

"Uhhh a hot spring and you expect me to go and Gojyo's near by"�"� She
laughed. "I think we should move on."�

Kaika bounced up in front of her. "Awwww c'mon pleaaaaaase?"� She
begged.

Gojyo draped an arm over Kaika's shoulder. "Give it a shot honey. You
know you want to when will the chance come by again?"�

Raido looked at the two looking at her and she looked at Sanzo and she
could tell he was just as suspicious. "I don't know"�"�

"I'll give you all my malt chocolate!"� Tejas held up several blocks of
chocolate. "Please?!?! Raaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddddddoooooooo."� She added in
a whine.

"That is so annoying."� Vayu's eye twitched in annoyance.

"Somebody shut her up."� Sanzo growled.

Hakkai laughed. "I think we better or we won't hear the end of it."� He
looked at Sanzo serious for a moment. "Perhaps it is just a hot spring, but it
doesn't hurt to look, besides if it was a demon attack I get the feeling
Sherekhan wouldn't invite Gojyo, she seems the type to want to protect him."� He
added.

Sanzo pulled out a cigarette and lit up. "You have a point here."� He
replied in a murmur. "But I really don't think-"� He stopped seeing Sherekhan
just looking at him and he blinked in shock at the pleading look.

"Please Sanzo?"� Sherekhan asked. "Just this once?"�

Sanzo took a drag of his cigarette before he let his head drop defeated
blowing the smoke out. "Fine."� He grumbled.

"Eeee thank-you Sanzo!"� She gave him a hug throwing the priest off for
a moment.

"RAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIDDDDDOOOOO"�"� Tejas continued to whine.

"Okay okay okay okay!"� Raido laughed, "But I'll only
take one block of chocolate we still have a couple more days to go until the
next town you'll need those."�

"Hurrah! Swimming!!"� Tejas cheered her arms flapping about happily.

The group of ten reached the hot spring and Raido looked round and
knelt down by a pool pulled her sleeve up and put her hand in and waved it
about.

"What's she doing? It's not going to bite."� Gojyo asked.

"She's testing the water for any evil or spells that could have been
cast."� Sanzo replied.

Sherekhan looked at Gojyo. "Why doesn't she trust us?"� She asked her
younger brother.

Gojyo looked at Sherekhan. "She's had a ruff life, makes her paranoid."�

*PARDADADADADA WHACK*

"Hey priestess will you stop that?!"� He glared at her and he looked
round. "What the where did she go?"�

"Behind you."� Raido replied.

*BING*

"DAHHHHH!"� He jumped away then glared at her. "Don't do that!"� He shouted
at her.

Raido just smiled. "Man that was fun. Okay everybody water's fine."�

"How did you know what she was doing?"� Vayu looked a Sanzo, "I couldn't
even read her while she was doing that, she was a complete and utter blank."�

Sanzo huffed. "Easy, she cleared her mind to sense if there had been
any change in the energy of the water to sense power like that you have to have
focus on nothing."�

Cyran lent on her shoulder. "And you call yourself a Goddess of woman's
mysteries even I knew that."�

*WHOMP*

"Shove it."� Vayu growled before walking away.

Hakkai laughed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Vayu"�"� He raced after
her and grabbed her by the arm and she froze. "It's okay, your powers still
haven't come back in full force yet. I don't mind honest, and I promise I won't
pick on you because of that."�

He led her back to the group while she was blushing all the way at the
close contact.

"Well I don't have a bathing suit so I'll just sit this one out."� Raido
sat down on the bank.

Gojyo looked at her. "You could always go naked."� He grinned at her.

*WHACK*

"In your dreams."�

Gojyo jus smiled at her. "C'mon honey"� they say sex in the water-"�

*WHOMP*

Raido looked at him. "As if, I don't want to find out I'll be carrying
your child two weeks down the track."� She removed her hand from his mouth.

Gojyo looked at her. "That's not very funny priestess."� He remarked.

Raido blinked for a moment. "I wasn't joking."� She remarked.

Hakkai looked at Raido surprised. "You mean you didn't know?"�

"Didn't know what?"� She asked then looked at Gojyo. "He's got an
illegitimate child stashed away somewhere?"� Her pointed arm flailed about
motioning at him.

*DOING*

She continued pointing at him all the while shuffling away, the other
nine of them all sweatdropping at her.

"She's a bit more naïve than I realised."� Hakkai just laughed.

"She really doesn't know?"� Kaika looked at Sherekhan.

"I can't believe and you went on this journey and left that child out
there somewhere?! What kind of man are you?"� She asked.

Gojyo's eye twitched. "Priestess"�"� He looked at her. "What are you
talking about illegitimate children to me for?"�

*PAP*

Raido's closed fist the inside of her other hand. "You do
don't you?! Oh wow I knew he was a player but oh wow, so a boy or a girl?"� She
asked curiously.

"Raido"�"� Gojyo looked at her.

She looked at him when he sounded so serious and actually used her
name. "Huh?"�

"I can't have kids I'm a mongrel, we can't have kids."� He remarked.

*DOING*

"You lie."� Raido looked at him face faulting. "You totally lie. I'm a
quarter demon, how do you think a quarter demon comes about huh? With a human
and a half demon soooo you lie."�

Cyran cleared her throat. "He doesn't lie Raido, you defy all logic of
this world. Your father was a half demon and that makes you a quarter, but it
was divine intervention that you came in to existence, normal half breeds can't
have kids."� She explained.

"I defy logic"�"� Raido blinked.

Gojyo looked at her. "You know I actually wondered how that was
possible that she was here."�

Cyran sighed. "All the previous incarnations of the Goddess's couldn't
hold the amount of power the Goddess of change possesses, the child to a Sanzo
and an Amazonian warrior wasn't strong enough, but to a spell casting half
breed demon and the daughter of a Sanzo and Amazonian warrior was."� She looked
at the others.

"So that explains why Raido thought Gojyo had an
illegitimate child."� Hakkai laughed. "I really thought that only she thought
she was a quarter. Even after meeting her father."�

Raido looked down her feet scuffing the ground. "I'm sorry I didn't
know Gojyo."�

He just smiled before running his hand through his hair. "It's okay
priestess, but fair trade for that insult is that I get to see you in a bathing
suit."�

Raido looked up at him and was ready to whack him when Tejas dropped a
bathing suit over the fan and she smiled.

"You can have one of my spares."�

"What the"�"� Raido held up the two-piece skimpy red bikini and looked at
it the whole thing looked like it was just held together by one single strand.

Gojyo looked at it. "Oh hell yeah pixie the perfect choice for her."�

"Damnit."� Raido complained.

"Fair trade Raido, you did insult my brother."� Sherekhan looked at her.

Raido's eye twitched. "Fine just this once and never again."�

Vayu just snickered at Raido. "Glad it's you not me."�

"Here Vayu for you!"� Tejas handed her a bathing suit and Vayu
sweatdropped.

Raido chuckled. "You were saying?"�

"Will you shut up?!"� Vayu snapped.

"I suffer you suffer."� Raido laughed.

~*~*~*~

A few minutes
later"�

The six girls stepped out from where they had gotten changed. Vayu's
long purple hair was tied in to a braid and hung over her shoulder as she
stepped out wearing the one piece suit with hardly any back or sides to it, it
might as well have been a two piece from the back and sides. The rest of the
girls all wore two-piece suits.

Raido looked at Vayu. "I'll trade you."�

"Oh hell no this one covers more."� Vayu remarked.

Sanzo blinked for a moment as Sherekhan walked past and to hide a blush
he looked in to his sleeve before pulling out a cigarette and lighting it up.

Hakkai just smiled at him. "Well she certainly is something."� He
laughed. "And we're still alive so I guess we can trust her."�

Gojyo grinned. "Thank the Gods five hot babes in swimming suits, I can
die a happy man."�

"Oh you're going to die alright!"� Raido waved a fist at him before
stalking up to him.

He smiled as he looked down and his arm slid round her waist pulling
her close.

"I'd rather die during sex though."�

"Uhhhh too much information there Gojyo."� She remarked and pushed at
his chest pushing him back laughing nervously.

"It'd be better if it was with you though honey."� He grinned.

She looked down. "Look I know you're trying to make me suffer okay? I'm
sorry, I opened my mouth without thinking."�

He looked down at her and let her go suddenly. "Did you really think I
could have kids?"� He asked.

She sighed and looked to the side embarrassed. "Yes I'm sorry okay.
What do I have to do to make you realise I am?"�

"Well I can think of one thing, we could try for kids."� He winked at
her. She narrowed her eyes at him. "But what about you, do you think you can
have kids priestess now you know the truth about half-breeds?"�

"My grandfather always told me that I had no choice I had to produce an
heir to carry the Henka scripture, but now that you mention it, perhaps I can't
either, I don't know I haven't had one."�

He just smiled. "It's okay honey I'm sure you can after all you defy
all logic of the half breeds. I'm sure you can, it just won't be with me, but
that doesn't mean I'm not going to get a piece of you first."�

~*~*~*~

The ten of them rested up in the hot spring Tejas bouncing about
splashing Goku he two of them running round in the springs chasing each other
like the couple of kids they were.

"You're it!"� Tejas laughed as she raced off Goku chasing her holding
his arms up like a monster.

"Grrr you better run!"� He laughed as he chased her.

Sherekhan sat next to Gojyo. "Those two are just simply adorable
together."� She smiled.

Gojyo looked over seeing Raido and Sanzo sitting off to side in the
springs talking to each other, it was probably regarding their damn mission or
the scriptures again.

"You like her don't you Gojyo?"� Sherekhan looked at him.

"You know me I don't commit."� He replied.

"Well you seem committed to her. I just don't want to see you get
hurt"�"� She looked away. "Again."�

Gojyo looked at her. "Shere it's okay."� He saw how upset she looked.
"Hey don't cry okay, you know I can't handle that."�

She just smiled up at him. "When I think of it after Jien left you took
really good care of me, I just want you to be happy."�

He let his head rest back a cigarette in his mouth. "I know but it's
not going to happen. How can I be happy?"�

"Why her Gojyo, there are plenty of other women out there who will lap
up your attention."�

He smiled. "Don't I know it, but she's a challenge and it'll be over
once I get through."�

"You want to break in to her heart and then leave her?"� Sherekhan
looked at him.

Gojyo looked at her for a moment. "I"� it's not like that Shere."�

"Promise me no matter what happens that you'll still be there for me
like you have? Please?"� Sherekhan looked at him.

Gojyo just smiled at her. "No matter what sis, I will."� He placed a
hand on her head and she smiled up at him.

***FLASHBACK***

A fourteen-year-old Sherekhan sat huddled up against the wall as Jien
held their upset mother in his arms. "Jien, Shere, you are mommy's favourites,
you are my children"� I love you both so very much."�

"It's okay mom."� Jien soothed their mother's hair out as she held on to
her. He looked over to Shere. "You should go to bed Shere, it's okay, I've got
her."�

She stood up and slowly walked to the bedroom and she turned round and
opened the door to Gojyo's room, he was only a couple of years younger than her
but there he was sitting on the bed his knees pulled up to his chest a
cigarette in his mouth and he looked at her. The only thing they shared in
common was the same red hair and the same father.

Shere climbed up on to the bed and under his arm and he looked down at
her blinking for a moment. "Promise me you'll be the best brother okay?"�

He looked at her surprised for the moment. "Why do you want me, Jien
would be a much better brother than I could be?"�

"But he's realllllllly old."� She looked at him smiling her
teasing smile.

Gojyo just smiled at her as he stroked her hair. "Okay I promise I'll
be a good brother."�

"You're going to take care of us aren't you Gojyo?"� She smiled.

"We have mom for that."� He replied taking a drag of his cigarette.

"But she's always crying someone needs to take care of her."� Shere
looked up at him. "She's always sad."� She blinked and grabbed the cigarette
from his mouth. "Will you stop that. These are bad for you!"� She broke the
cigarette in half.

"Heeeeeey Shere."� He complained.

"And I repeat bad for you."� She scolded. "Besides what about mom?"� She
asked.

"It can't be me, I cause her nothing but pain."� He looked so sad for a
moment.

Shere wrapped her arms round him. "Please Gojyo try, for mom's sake,
please try. You have to try, don't give up."�

He looked at her as she started to cry and he nodded. "If you promise
you won't cry like mom then I'll try."� He replied wrapping his arms around her.

"I promise I promise I won't cry like mom."� Shere looked up at him
holding on to him.

***END OF FLASHBACK***

Gojyo looked at Sherekhan as she sat next to him her
head resting on his shoulder and he put his arms round her, she had fallen
asleep and he pulled her wet hair out of the water and placed it on to the bank
to dry.

Hakkai looked over at him and Gojyo looked up catching Hakkai watching.

"Gojyo are you alright?"�

"I used to be so jealous of her and Jien, it upset me so much, but she
stayed with me when Jien ran away, she stayed with me and made sure I
took care of her. Weird isn't it, considering she's my older sister."� He just
smiled a small smile. "In a way I think it was her way of looking after me
after all that happened."�

Hakkai just looked at him. "Gojyo are you okay?"�

"Yeah dude I'm okay."� Gojyo replied.

fangurl round Doku due to him saving her life and she feels she owes him a lot for
what he did for her even though he hardly knew her, she can kick some serious ass.

Sherekhan: Gojyo's older sister and Dokugakuji's
younger sister, 2yrs difference between her and Gojyo 24yrs old, Gojyo red
hair, silver metal eyes, fangurl round Kougaiji, also able to kick some ass,
but nice as anything, doesn't realise how gorgeous she is to even make Sanzo
blush.

The mother figures

Deanna Sanzo: (Raido's mother) 17yrs when she met
Youkama, Black brown hair, brown eyes, she was a high school student when they
crossed paths thanks to Cyran, a fairly care free person, but not the type of
woma you want to piss off.

Ashei: (Vayu's mother) 19yrs old when she met Shuda, Brown
hair that she wore in a simple braid and yellow eyes, she was working as a waitress
when the old school Sanzo party was returning from their journey, a violent
argumentative woman, with guts to back it up, but generally smiley while
working.

Khani: (Tejas's mother) 16yrs old when she met Alan, blue
hair and Lilac / Purple eyes, back when demons and humans lived together in
peace she was a High School Student with Deanna, even though she was a full
blooded demon, a cute bubbly young woman, who thought Alan was just so adorable
that she over came her shyness of men to ask him on a date the best friend of
Deanna alo.
