“One black wedding dress. Oh how nice. But may I ask why black?” Mine asked, holding a measuring tape against Ayame’s arm.
“Oh Mine, have I not told you? We are having mine and Tori~Sans wedding then we have four funerals to go to.”
“Four people? Who for?”
“One for Akito, the head of our merry little clan, Saki Hanajima, the one we made the black Cinderella dress for. Our dear little Tohru-Kun and… and… and Shigure.”
Seeing that her boss was about to cry she ran for a tissue. Ayame sat down heavily. He still had trouble believing his best friend was gone. He was still expecting a phone call about whatever random thing that had happened to them. But he must not cry. This would be a day of happiness.
The wedding went well with no hick-ups. Yuki was the best man and Kyo and Hatsaharu accompanied the bridesmaids Isuzu and Kagura. Instead of the bride in white and the groom in black, Ayame was in black and Hatori was in a white suit. In respect for the funerals that were to follow, the guests were wearing black. Saki’s family were to have her cremated, Tohru was the join the graves in which her mother and father shared. Akito and Shigure were to go into the Sohma graves. Hatori and Ayame went to Barbados for their honeymoon.
