Two hours later, a black luxury car pulled up to a huge two-storied cabin that could pass for a resort deep in the woods. With blanket still wrapped around the body, Dee was carried inside and up the stairs to a room that had a huge bed. It was here that the servant placed the weak detective on the bed. Ryo watched as he was thinking on how to introduce his partner to his father’s side of the family. The Tokura Clan is one of the wealthiest families in the Asian world. The head of the family had a son and daughter. When the son left home, he didn’t want anyone to know of his family and his connections. Before leaving Japan, he legally changed his last name to MacLean. The father inform his son that he will be the next head of the family and that he will acknowledge the children that are born. Ryo was the only child born of the union between his father and his American mother.

“I see that your assignment was a complete success Isobe”, chimed a very youthful voice coming from the door. Ryo was smiling with glee while Dee was in total shock. Approaching the bed was a very tall man with very fair skin, bright hazel eyes, and long hair that was a mixture of pure black and pure white.

“Dee, this is my grandfather Dr Hiro Tokura.”

“Are you sure?” questioned Dee as he looked hard at the man who was now hovering over him.

“Very sure”, Hiro smiled. “Don’t let my appearance throw you. I’m well in my late 50’s. As for my practice, I’ve been at it since I was in my mid-twenties. My specialty is in Rare Male Medicine and considered one of the top seven in the world in this field.”

“Sorry”, said Dee as he apologized to the physician.

“No problem”, he responded as he looked deep into the detective’s eyes. “Yes. You are indeed a Rare Male.” He placed a hand on Dee’s neck and slowly caress it. “It seems that you’re still a virgin.”

“How…how did…”

“I know?” laughed Hiro. “Rare Males shows certain characteristics. Physically, it can be seen in those beautiful eyes. The skin feels like a newborn. When sexually active, the skin would feel like the purest and most expensive silk. There are more but for now, let’s examine you and fix those cuts and burns. Ryo, you can stay or you can go to your grandmother. She’s all a flutter to see you and your soon-to-be mate.”

“I better go see her or she won’t leave me alone.”

“When she see your partner, she won’t leave him alone”, grin Hiro as he signaled a servant to bring the tray filled with medical equipment.

“I’ll see you later”, purr Ryo as he bent down and placed a kiss on Dee’s lips.

“Alright kids. I need to get to work”, smiled Hiro as he helped Dee to sit up. Ryo left the bedroom as his love began to remove the blanket that was covering his naked body.

One hour later, the head of the Tokura Clan entered the living room where Ryo and the grandmother were seated on a plush couch. Riko Tokura is a very lively woman in her mid-50’s who was a little shorter than her husband. Her green eyes and her long brown/white hair sparkled in the light produced by the fireplace.

“How is he”, she asked.

“He’s fine. Small skin tears around the wrists, slight dehydration, small bump on the back of head, bite marks around the neck and chest yet not too deep, and slight redness around the anus yet no penetration. Right now, he’s sleeping and should rest for the night.”

“That’s good to hear dear.”

“Thank you grandfather”, smiled Ryo.

“Does he have a personal physician yet?”

“Some friends of a co-worker said that they want to be Dee’s doctor.”

“Tell them to forget it. I will be his personal physician. Better yet, give me their names and I will personally tell them. I will not allow any stranger to attend to my future son-in-law.”

“But I didn’t even ask him yet!”

“Do you need help?” asked Riko.

“When exactly are you going to ask him?” grin Hiro.

Ryo blushed a deep red as his grandparents laughed.

“Does his family knows?” asked Hiro.

“He was an orphan. The only family he has is a nun of the church who raised him.”

“Does this nun approve of your relationship with him?”

“Yes. In fact, she invited me and Dee to the Christmas Eve services at St. Patrick’s.”

“This could be a problem if the Holy Empire knows about Dee. So, here’s what we’re going to do.”

Hiro explains his plan to the two as Ryo nodded in agreement and Riko laughed in utter joy. To Ryo, this will be the best Christmas yet.

Christmas Eve and everyone in the city was in high spirits. Dee was in deep thought as he prepares for the Mass. Before being diagnose as a Rare Male, he had plans for his Ryo which includes a romantic dinner follow by a round of passionate sex. Maybe he could salvage the holiday by giving Ryo his gift after the Mass.

Ryo was nervous as he fixed his tie for the 5^th time. He knew this will work. His grandfather promised that it will. He never did this in his entire life and was praying that his parents are looking over him from heaven. He looked at the clock and saw that it was almost time to go.

“Hey Dee! The car will be here soon.”

“I’m coming!”

Dee came out of the bathroom wearing a black three-piece suit and tie while Ryo was sporting a deep navy blue three-piece suit and tie.

“Dee, we are definitely going to go shopping for clothes the day after Christmas.”

“Are you saying that my suit doesn’t cut it?”

“It’s the only suit you have that’s decent enough to wear.”

“Well excuse me for not having enough money to buy the good stuff.”

“But you do now thanks to those gift cards.”

“That’s true. I was thinking of giving Mother one of those cards to spend it any way she pleases.”

“She’ll love that Dee.”

At that moment, there was a knock at the door.

“Well, it’s time to go. Ready Dee?”

“Let’s not keep them waiting.”

Hand in hand, the two left their apartment.

Allec was in the foyer talking to Tiberius and Quintillus when he spotted Dee entering the building along with Ryo, Mother Maria, and two other nuns. Happily, the three went up to the group and welcomed them to the service.

“So, you’re Knights of the Holy Empire”, smiled Mother as she and the two nuns bowed before the three.

“Yes dear Mother”, responded Allec with a smile. “We work closely with his holiness. My fellow knights were informed that you have obtained a personal physician Dee. Quintillus was asked for your medical records post haste.”

“I did not release them because I want to meet your new doctor”, spoke Quintillus as he stood beside Dee.

“Ah Ryo! Dee! There you are!” came a merry voice that resound throughout the foyer. The group turned and spotted a couple surrounded by bodyguards approaching.

“You look great Grandfather”, smiled Ryo as he gave Hiro a big hug.

“And what about me”, smiled Riko.

“You always look splendid”, responded Ryo as he hugged his grandmother.

The Knights bowed before Ryo’s grandparents with the deepest respect.

“You have honored us with your presence, my Lord Tokura.”

“Thank you for inviting us good knight. Are you the one who wish to be the physician to my grandson’s beloved?”

“That would be me, my lord”, responded Quintillus.

“I see. When I’m not in this country, you will be his physician. I will hold you and your masters accountable if anything happens to Dee.”

“Thank you for such a great honor and trust, my lord.”

“For your sake as well as the Holy Empire, don’t betray my trust”.

Hiro turned to the others and smiled. “Let’s go to our seats. I believe they are at the front of the sanctuary”.

Ryo took Dee by the hand and led him down the center aisle to their reserved seats.

Chapter 15

After the services, the Tokuras invited Dee and Mother Maria to their home for the night and day. Mother Maria declined and Hiro fully understand. After bidding everyone a fond Merry Christmas, Dee and Ryo left with the grandparents. When they arrived, everyone went to bed. Dee shared the bedroom with Ryo as the grandparents looked on with smiles. With tender care, Ryo removed Dee’s clothes while planting soft kisses on the neck and shoulders. Passion began to swell up in Dee’s chest as he turned around and placed his lips on top of his lover. The two was in a lip and tongue lock as clothes were removed until they were completely naked. Ryo guided Dee to the bed while at the same time reaching over to the bedside lamp stand and pulling out a small jewelry box. Hiding it behind his back, Ryo ended the kiss and asked a question.

“So tell me, how long have we been together?”

“Humm…I say it would be at least three years since I confessed my love for you and one year of living together. Why do you ask? Are you thinking of giving me up because I’m a rear male?”

“Never!! I will never leave you because of that. I wanted to give you this gift after you get some sleep. But it seems that now would be the perfect time.”

Ryo pulled out the box and held it in front of Dee.

“Is…Is this what I think it is…” stuttered Dee as he watched Ryo open the box. Inside was a silver eternity ring that had .5 carrot diamonds embedded all around.

“I was going to ask you even if you weren’t a rare male because I love you so much that I can’t live without you. Dee Laytner, will you marry me?”

Tears formed in Dee’s eyes as he nodded his head with glee.

“Yes! Yes! I will marry you! I love you too much Ryo MacLean.”

Ryo removed the ring from the box and placed it on Dee’s left ring finger. By this time, Dee was overcome with pure joy as his lips latched onto Ryo in a very deep loving kiss. Tears were running down his face as his tongue gently caresses his fiancé. When the kiss was broken, Ryo embraced his Dee in his arms as they lay down in the huge bed. As they pulled the heavy quilt upon their soft bodies, the two snuggled close so that Dee’s back was against Ryo’s chest.

“You have made me the happiest man on the planet”, purred Ryo as he placed a soft kiss on Dee’s shoulders.

“And you made me the most blessed man in all of creation”, purred Dee as he cuddled close to Ryo. “So when are you going to tell your grandparents?”

“In a few hours during breakfast. And when will you tell Mother?”

“After breakfast when she brings Bikky over for the day. He’s going to be surprise when we tell him.”

“He wanted us to be together but he wanted you to pop the question. The surprise will be when I tell him that I popped the question to you complete with ring.”

“You don’t know how much I want to take you hard and fast right now”, whispered Ryo as one of his hands began to stroke Dee’s manhood and getting a moan from Dee. “But we need to get some sleep. There’s going to be a lot of visitors in a few hours in which we have to greet”.

“Do we have to wait?” yawn Dee as his eyes were heavy with sleep.

“Look at it this way”, purred Ryo as he closed his eyes. “You’re the present that I will personally open and the gift that I will give to you will be painful for a moment in time but in the end you will love it and crave for more. Now sleep my love and know that we’ll be together forever”.

“Yes…Together forever”, sighed Dee in contentment as he dozed off to sleep with a smile on his face.

Hiro and Riko were in their bed talking over the past events.

“Did you think he asked Dee?” asked Riko as she cuddled up to her husband.

“But of course my love”, he responded as he wrapped his arms around his wife. “When Ryo told me about Dee, I advised him to ask Dee to marry him. I even provided the engagement ring. And don’t worry. Ryo picked it out six months ago and wanted to pop the question on St Valentine’s Day. Now that Dee’s a rare male, all the factors will be out in force”.

“What are you going to do?”

“Well, the first step was done. Have one of those knights from the Holy Empire be Dee’s physician so that we can keep a sharp eye on them. The second is the engagement in which we will hear about it in a few hours. The next step will be to place a temporary seal on Dee’s womb until the start of their honeymoon. He will be able to enjoy sex without getting pregnant. I will attend to it during breakfast.”

“Will Ryo know about this?”

“Yes. And it will be up to him if he want to tell his fiancé”.

“So, all the bases are covered”.

“Yes it is. All that is left is for you to help with the wedding plans”.

“OOOHHH!!!! I can’t wait for the morning!!”

“Neither can I, my sweet. Now let’s get some sleep”.

The two kissed as they covered themselves in a thick quilt, turned off the lights, and went to sleep.

In a mansion outside the city, Allec, Tiberius, and Quintillus was in the study talking to a very powerful person in the church.

“First off, his most holy and royal highness wishes to extend his congratulations on a job well done in finding a true rare male and in disposing a heretic among the flock. You have received a direct order for you to secure the rare male and yet he is now being sheltered by the Emperor of the free Imperial Empire.”

“We didn’t know of the connections at the time, your eminence”, responded Allec.

“I understand, Allec. Yet Quintillus informs me that the Emperor has commissioned him to be the physician to the young rare male”.

“That is correct, your eminence”, said Tiberius.

“This can work to our advantage. I want you three to go to the cathedral tomorrow night before midnight. There you will take the solemn oath before the high alter that you will obtain the rare male and present him before his most holy and royal highness. Use any means necessary to complete this assignment”.

“It shall be done, your eminence”, the three responded in unison as they bowed to the churchman. Each knew that things are going to get very interesting and that they will get Dee Laytner even at the cost of their lives.

The sun was rising on a cold winter’s day. Ryo and Dee happily greeted Hiro and Riko as they took their seats at the table for breakfast. As the meal was served, Ryo told his grandparents of the engagement as a smiling Dee showed off the ring. Happily, Hiro and Riko hugged and kissed the two in total joy. Hiro told a servant to bring in the wine glasses filled with sparkling grape juice. Once everyone got a glass, a toast to the engaged couple was made.

“To Ryo and Dee! May their love endure forever!” spoke Hiro with pride.

After the meal, the grandfather took Dee to a room that looked like a laboratory.

“When I have to attend to a rare male patient in this country, I work from here. So tell me. How soon will you have kids?”

“Well, I was thinking after the wedding and that we have a house to raise the kids”.

“I see. For now, we need to keep that womb of your very healthy. I’m going to give you something that will keep you regular every 28 days. You probably experienced it throughout your life and thought it was an upset stomach or a well placed punch to the guts. This is the rare male’s version of a menstrual period”.

Hiro open a refrigerator and pulled out a flask filled with a purple solution. He took a crystal glass, poured the solution until it was half full, and gave it to Dee.

“Drink up my son. It will make you sleepy for a while and then you will be fine. All the guests will come in the afternoon so go lay down after you drink that. And if you’re having second thoughts, this is a direct order from your doctor”.

Dee drank the solution and began to yawn. Excusing himself, he went to the living room where there was a huge decorated tree with gifts in the corner. Making himself comfortable on a couch, he dozes off into a very peaceful sleep.

The rest of the day went very well for Dee and Ryo. Bikky and Mother Maria arrived early that afternoon while the CI crew along with Chief Smith and Rose came later. Before dinner, Dee and Ryo announced their engagement to joy of all except for JJ and Rose. After the rich meal, gifts were exchanged. By 9 PM, the guests left the home wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. The grandparents took Bikky to a guest bedroom while Ryo escorted his fiancé to their bedroom. Once again, the two kissed as they removed all of their clothes. Just as Dee was about to say something, a big yawn escaped his lips. Laughing, Ryo scooped up Dee into his strong arms and placed him in the middle of the bed.

“This was supposed to be the night we confirm our engagement. But since grandfather gave you something for your body, I will wait until you are ready. For now, sleep and know that I love you very much”.

“And I love you too Ryo. I love you so much”.

The two gave a very deep loving kiss as they pulled the quilt upon then and thank God that they are finally together.
