Chapter Fourteen.

They headed out to where the others were and just hung out there for a few hours before they decided to head back to Tokyo and grab some dinner at a local restaurant.

It was over dinner at the restaurant, where Terra asked Usagi if she could go back to her home to talk to her folks about Kafir.

Kafir�s eyebrow rose up in mild shock as he wondered what she was going to say to Usagi�s folks about him. Idly he wondered if he should worry if Usagi's Earth father would chase him with a baseball bat -- or shotgun.

Solace snorted. �I say a sword would be perfect. That�s what our mother used on him the first time he came by to ask if he may have permission to date Serenity-hime. I can remember Kafir running around the throne room with our mom hot on his tail before dad stepped in and put a stop to it.�

Kafir bowed his head and they heard him snicker. "Oh the look on the Queen's face when he picked her up, ranting and raving before dragging her off to their chambers..."

"But she accepted you as her daughter's suitor after that right, Kafir?" asked Terra.

"Not right away." Kafir admitted. "She gave up since King Solaris would just carry her off to their chambers every time she raised a fuss."

�But what made her change her mind about you? Surely, what he told her must have gotten through to her to allow you the honor of dating her daughter, which you happen to adore deeply. Even though I was on the Moon for a short time, I could tell you adored the ground Usagi walked on and how much she loved you.� Terra said.

�What do you mean?� asked Usagi.

�I was brought to the Moon for healing of my wounds that I got from Endymion, just a few hours before all was destroyed.� Terra said, softly.

Kafir cleared his throat. "The Queen and I had a talk. I informed her that her daughter was one of the few things keeping me from unleashing my full powers because if I did that it would hurt her and I would die before doing that."

�Terra, what wounds?� asked Rei.

�Alantas� folks confronted my folks about Endymion�s rape of Alantas of the past two weeks. But they denied that their perfect little angel wouldn�t do anything like that. I was angered so I told them what he did to me. Took me by force and done it several times and they were in the next room. They didn�t believe me or what Alantas had said. Alantas and his family broke all ties to our family. I was returned home and Endymion beat me so badly I could have died but I got away from him and ran away. I was found by predators,� said Terra.

Kafir spoke, �But I was out riding with Solace at the time and we found you badly injured with predators around you. We got you back to the Moon where Queen Serenity was able to heal you as much as she could.�

Usagi spoke, "Right after we finish dinner, we can go visit my folks and you can talk to them, Terra."

"Good, thanks Usagi," Terra said, as she turned her attention to the miso shiru and the rice mix she did.

It was not long after they finished eating did several people leave the restaurant and headed towards a section of town where Usagi�s home was. Usagi�s father was sitting on the front step, not looking really happy.

Kafir's face was calm and collected as he assisted Usagi from the passenger side of his car before moving to help Terra. Usagi went towards her father and asked, �Dad is mom in?�

�Yes, she�s in.� he said.

�I have someone who I want you two to listen to. She�s a friend of ours. Mine and Kafir�s,� Usagi said.

Kafir sat beside Usagi on the couch as her parents and Terra each found their own place to sit.

�Our daughter said that you are her friend? But we know all her friends,� spoke Kenji, looking at her.

�Because I didn�t know her though I heard her cries,� said Terra. �But I should really state who I am as it will tell you everything you need to know. I am Chiba Terra, sister to Mamoru.�

Kafir held Usagi's hand in his and he nodded ever so slightly in approval when the Moon Princess placed her hand over Terra's in silent support.

The room erupted in anger from Usagi�s parents. They were pissed off at her. Terra flinched as she started to grow scared but the comforting hand on hers and the mental touch from Kafir and Usagi was enough to keep her from bolting.

Terra breathed in deep and snapped, �He raped me just like he did your daughter!�

The room went silent when Usagi�s parents heard that.

Kenji asked, �He�he�raped you?�

�Yes, and it was not just once but many times. He also beat me several times. I was locked up in his apartment for over four months before I was found by the Sailor and Soldier Senshi.� Terra said.

Kafir spoke, "We brought her to my home while she was recovering from her ordeal being left within a cell within her brother's two bedroom apartment and we�re lucky she recovered."

�How bad was she off?� asked Kenji.

�I nearly died, if they didn�t find me when they did. But this is not why I�m here, it is about Kafir.� Terra said.

Kafir let none of his nervousness show and watched them calmly.

�What about him? Are you saying you are his girlfriend?� asked Ikuko.

�No, it deals with your resistance to allowing him to fully date your daughter,� said Terra.

�What do you mean?� asked Kenji.

�He is a very honorable man, yes, he�s a Soldier Senshi but he has a very strong moral code of honor. He worships the ground your daughter walks upon. He would rather die before he would even hurt her,� said Terra.

"She's one of the reasons I don't blow up the planet." he stated solemnly.

�What do you mean?� asked Kenji.

"When I found out what Mamoru had done...my rage was unequalled and to the point had I let my powers loose, the Earth would have perished. Usagi, my sister, my Prince, and the Senshi of Earth were the only things keeping me from doing so." Kafir elaborated.

"So, you could have destroyed the planet in your rage over what had happened with Usagi's ex boyfriend?" asked Kenji.

"Yes." he stated.

�So who is the Senshi of Earth?� Ikuko asked.

�At that time, of Usagi�s attack there was only one Senshi of Earth. I am Sailor Earth, the missing Senshi of Earth. There has to be a Soldier and a Sailor for each planet to retain balance in power.� Terra said.

�Who is the other the Soldier?� asked Kenji.

�My cousin Alantas, he too, was abused by my brother when they were kids. My brother was a very sick young man.� Terra said.

�I assume you just assumed the status just recently, Terra?� asked Kenji.

�Yes, but if it wasn�t for Kafir, I wouldn�t be here.� Terra said.

"I loaned her some of my strength so we Soldiers could get her to our house of healing as she was very close to death," Kafir whispered.

�And it was all because of my brother sentencing me to possible death in his apartment,� said Terra.

�But wasn�t his apartment searched by the police soon after his arrest?� asked Kenji.

�Yes, it was but the room where I was in was sound proofed so anyone within that room would not be heard but I could hear people moving around and talking. I heard Usagi�s screams for help and my brother�s angry snaps at her as well the hits he gave her before he took her.� Terra said.

They asked more questions about the room she stayed in and then requested that they step outside for a few minutes. Terra wondered if she did any good or ruined it for Usagi and Kafir�s love affair to have the blessing from her folks.

Kafir held Usagi in his arms and gently stroked her silvery-blonde hair. �Kafir, what if it�s ruined?�

�Don�t think that, Usagi,� spoke Terra. �Push it out of your mind. They need to talk about this seriously as I guess they have found out a lot about your ex,�

Kenji looked out the window and saw Kafir holding Usagi and stroking her hair. �I think we been hard on the young man. Look what he did selflessly; he gave Terra some of his strength so she could live. He has proven himself to be more honorable than Mamoru ever could. I had always wondered why I had such odd feelings about him,�

�Who, Kafir or Mamoru?� asked Ikuko, looking at him.

�Mamoru, I felt like he was hiding something from us and there were times when I notice a look on his face of hatred when he looked at our daughter. There is nothing like that when I look at Kafir or even see anything that would stir my fear for our daughter. I think we can let up on their curfew and plus stop calling the police if they are late,� said Kenji.

�All right, I�ll bring them in and we can tell them the news,� spoke Ikuko, as she went to the door and asked them to come back inside.

Kafir held the door open as Terra and Usagi entered the house once more and went to the couch. They waited as Usagi�s parents sat down across from them.

�We spoke it over and we think it would be right if there was no more calls to the police when you two are late coming home,� said Ikuko.

Kenji spoke, �Kafir, you have our blessing to date our daughter.�

Kafir sighed in relief. Usagi was thrilled as she hugged her mom and dad. Terra bowed her head to them, pleased that she managed to convince Usagi�s parents that Kafir was a very honorable young man who adored their daughter.

Kafir noticed that the time was nearing a possible Youma attack. �I�m sorry to interrupt but we must go. Something is coming and we must tend to it,�

�Right, just be careful out there. I do not want to end up finding my daughter a new boyfriend,� Kenji chuckled.

Kafir smiled as he spoke, "That will be hard as I will not leave this world just yet."

Kenji smiled as he watched as Kafir held his car's door open to help Terra and then Usagi into the car before he got in himself and drove away.
