“Then the least we can do is be lonely together neh.” Haru said pulling back and lifting up Kyo’s chin. “ I don’t know about you but I don’t want to live alone anymore.” He pushed at Kyo’s hair. “So why don’t we go one step at a time and everything will be ok in the end. I swear.”

Kyo nuzzled into the soft touch. “I wish I could believe that.”

Haru smiled sweetly and leaned forward kissing Kyo’s forehead. “Then believe in it. Everyone needs something to believe in. So believe in me and trust me to take care of everything.”

And for once Kyo didn’t argue he just nodded his head that was being held in-between two large, warm hands. He leaned forward wrapping his arms around Haru’s thinner waist.

“Don’t let them throw me away.” He pleaded in a meek voice.

“I won’t.” Haru said holding him tightly to his body.

“Don’t let them make everyone forget.” Kyo asked softly and then curled up closer to Haru.

“I won’t.” He said softly and then stood.

“Where are you going?” Kyo asked slightly frightened.

“To get closer to you.” He said as if it was common knowledge to Kyo.

Walking around to the other side of the bed he sat down on it before laying back and pulling Kyo to rest against him. Kyo nuzzled Haru’s neck in an effort to get closer to him. To try to get into his skin and stay safely there where the nightmares and the horrible people just disappeared.

“I love you Haru.” He whispered again wrapping an arm around his waist and holding on. “I love you so much.”

Haru smiled at that and felt something in his heart. “I love you too neko-chan.” he whispered and nuzzled the bright orange mop of hair.

“Tell me again.” Kyo asked pulling himself closer.

“I love you.” Haru said and again. “I love you Kyo.” he repeated.

“Stay with me.” He said and kissed Haru’s neck.

“For always.” Haru answered and kissed the top of his head. “No matter what.”

“Haru?” Kyo asked and opened his eyes. “Thank for giving me another chance. Thank you for being so beautiful.”

Haru smiled a slight soft smile and thought how unusual for Kyo to say such endearments. “What wonderful think to say.” Haru muttered and rubbed his hand up and down Kyo’s back.

Kyo purred against his neck and Haru could feel his eyes close as he drifted off into sleep. And for once in his life time his dreams weren’t filled with hurt and pain. No one was crying in his dream he wasn’t reaching out for someone only to have his hand slapped away or to have them check to see if his beads were in pace. To put it very simply when he opened his eyes the next morning he felt extremely happy. He tilted his head up and wished he could see Haru sleeping. He got angry for a split second that he couldn’t see his love but then thought of something else and reached up his hand instead and touch the long nose and the slightly pouty lips that pushed out when he exhaled a breath. He traced over his eyes smiling as Haru’s eyelashes tilted the tips of his fingers. Haru opened his eyes and looked down at the smiling boy.

He though at that moment that the one in his arms couldn’t be more beautiful then he was right now. His orange hair lit with the morning sun, His eyes reflecting the happiness that he felt at touching Haru’s face. Haru reached up and took Kyo’s hand in his own and kissed the finger tips.

“Morning Beautiful.” Haru said and then kissed his forehead before working his way down and kissing Kyo soundly on the lips.

Kyo moaned into the touch desperately wanting to get more so he reached up and wrapped his hands around Haru’s face and kissed him back urgently and tried to shift the top of his body to press it closer to the warmth radiating off of Haru. Only when he couldn’t breath and his heart was pounding in his chest did he left go of Haru’s face.

“Good morning Koi.” Kyo whispered back almost shyly.

He wasn’t used to saying such endearments out loud.

“Did you sleep well?” Haru asked and pushed the orange hair out of the way.

Kyo nodded his head and smiled softly up at Haru. “Better then I have in ages. I feel so safe in your arms. So small and fragile but in a good way.” He said and nuzzled Haru’s chest.

Haru smiled and stroked Kyo’s back some more. “Your so beautiful in the morning sun,” He whispered into his ear before licking at it slightly.

This caused Kyo to moan and shift into the touch, shaking slightly. He reached up and wrapped his arms around Haru’s shoulders holding onto him. “You were always beautiful even when you were black there was something beautiful about you.” Kyo answered back and rubbed his fingers along Haru’s collar bone. “I remember watching you.” He continued. “I remember thinking that I wished you liked me as much as you liked Yuki. All you ever liked to do was call me names and fight.”

“That’s because I liked to watch the way you move.” he said licking at his ear again.

“Oh.” Kyo said and then blinked. “Wait how do you know that.” He asked and pushed back at his shoulder for a moment.

“Don’t know it just came out.” He said truthfully and Kyo could tell.

“Haru?” he asked and continued to rub his collarbone.

“Yes love?” He asked and kissed him again.

“what will you do when you remember?” He asked hesitantly his fingers stopping the rhythmic motion.

“I don’t know to be honest.” Haru answered and rubbed his cheek.


Kyo sighed and wished again that he could see Haru’s face. He tucked his head under Haru’s chin again and closed his eyes. There was a slight knock on the door and Kyo sat up turning his head towards the door.

“Come in.” He said and listened to the hesitant foot steps.

“How are you today Kyo?” Hilo asked in his sweet voice.

“Very good and yourself?” He asked and waited for the bed to dip.

“well I spent yesterday in a coma or vomiting my stomach out through my mouth but it seems to have stopped.” He said with a smile in his voice.

“Well it’s better then the alternative.” He answered.

“Yea it is.” He said chuckling. “and who is this handsom boy sitting next to you.”

“Haru.” Haru answered and stuck out his hand. “I’m his boyfriend.” He answered and wrapped his free arm around Kyo’s waist.

“Ahh.” Hilo said smiling. “You have wonderful taste Kyo.” He said and then laughed a little when Kyo blushed brightly. “But one thing is that your real hair?” He asked confused.

Haru nodded his head and smiled. “Everyone asks that.” He said amused.

“Well it is rather confusin.” He said with a smile.

Another person came into the room a little bit later. “Hilo?” He question.

“Over here Daniel.” He said and laughed.

Daniel came over and stood next to him. “Daniel this is Haru.” He said.


He reached out his hand and Haru shook his calmly. “Nice to meet you.” Haru said and bowed his head a little.

Daniel like wise did the same. He then noticed Kyo was laying against the boy with a small smile curving his lips. He nudged Hilo and pointed it out. Hilo smiled and leaned forward to kiss Kyo’s head. Kyo was startled for a moment but then stopped. “You were smiling and you looked so very cute.” He answered.

Kyo mumbled something under his breath and turned his head away. But it was only to hide the blush that had spread across his face.
