Chapter Fifteen.

They met up with the others, Ami was typing on her mini computer as was Hermes. They were searching for the Youma that was either going to show up or not.

Solace turned to the two Mercurians and asked, "Are there any coming or not?"

Hermes mumbled something and furiously tapped on his mini-computer. �They should be here. Maybe we should split up?�

Usagi looked at Solace and nodded. Solace nodded as he transformed. The other Soldiers followed suit along with their Prince. Usagi transformed as did the other Sailors. They decided to split up into fours and go search the park to see if the Youma would show up. Hisharo, Terra, Usagi and Kafir headed off in one direction as the others went in different directions, all but for one group who remained in the same place.

Terra stopped as she looked around. Kafir noticed after a few minutes that Terra wasn't with them. He groaned, "Great. We lost our rookie!" and immediately reversed course and headed back to where they were at before they had lost her only to find her still standing in the same spot. "Sailor Earth!" he yelled.

"Saturn, they're here!" Sailor Earth yelled.

A few seconds later, the Youma attacked the four Senshi. Hisharo used his com to call the others in as they all started to fight the Youma as the other Sailors and Soldiers came running onto the scene.

It was a vicious battle as several Youma ended up killed in the battle. There was three who had actually ganged up on one Sailor but the others were too busy with their own Youma to come to her aid.

Terra was struck in the back by one of the Youma and then struck low in the abdomen which sent her down to her knees. She knew she was in trouble and with the others were in their own fight, she was fighting alone and she needed help now. �Alantas, Kafir, help!� she cried out.

They were too busy with their own Youma to come to her aid. So Terra called on her vine whip but the Youma dodged it and gave Terra a hard kick to the jaw. It was as if they knew she was a rookie Sailor Senshi. Terra knew she was going to pay the ultimate price for her lack of fighting skills with her death.

Suddenly, a tall black haired with gold highlight Soldier appeared in front of Terra; he immediately started to take care of the three Youma as Terra started to realize something was wrong within her. But she stood up with the help of her staff. She knew she had to help her rescuer whoever he was and so she started to swing her staff at the Youma who got close to her.

Finally, they managed to destroy the three Youma who were attacking them. Terra wiped the sweat off her face that had built up during the battle and some blood that came from a small cut on her cheek. She glanced over to look at who had aided her in the battle. He was quite handsome and in a sense had a cat like look to his eyes.

The others came over and Solace smiled at the appearance of the young man. "Hello Apollo, I see that you made your appearance here already." Solace said, with a grin.

Apollo winked. "Wouldn't miss it, Sire," he purred.

Terra placed her hand on her abdomen as she walked away from the others, she didn�t want them to see her in pain. It would show her weakness and she didn�t want them to see her weak, but the pain was just too much for her as she collapsed to her knees.

She didn't expect to find their mysterious ally beside her, his golden cat's eyes filled with concern. "Solaris-sama, Serenity-sama, Sailor Earth is hurt!"

Solace and Usagi went rushing to Terra�s side, Hermes was by her side and had her on her back but she refused to stay on her back. �It hurts, Hermes, it hurts.� Terra whispered.

Hermes looked up and said, �It�s her abdomen. One of the Youma�s struck her hard there. I can not figure out where the pain is,�

Solace bent down and with his hand gently pressed down below her belly button and she cried out. �We need to get her to the hospital now! Kafir, dehenshin now! We�re using your car since its closer to us! You must get her to the hospital. Terra, dehenshin now sweetie,�

Kafir released his transformation while Apollo carefully picked Terra up in his arms, Solace hovering like a protective older brother. Alantas followed as they hurried towards Kafir�s car. Alantas was a head of them and opened the side seat as Apollo placed Terra down in the passenger side and closed the door.

�Hurry, Kafir! We�ll follow later!� ordered Solace.

Kafir carefully drove off, speeding cautiously so as to not jar the injured Senshi. He picked up his cell phone, dialed the hospital informing them of his coming with a badly injured young girl and got her to the hospital. The nurses and the doctors were outside waiting for him to arrive as they gently hauled Terra onto the stretcher and rushed into the ER. Kafir went and signed her in as he waited for the others to arrive but he was asked to come in as she was asking for him.

Kafir told the nurse that her cousin Alantas would be coming soon and get him and his friends into a private room quickly for he�ll be with them shortly. Kafir went to Terra's side and learned what had happened in the fight she was doing with the Youma.

Alantas and the others came walking into the hospital. He went to the nurse and spoke, "My friend Kafir-san brought my cousin Chiba Terra in."

The nurse stood up and spoke, directing them to a private room. "Kafir-san requested that you and your friends to wait within this room. I'll let him know you're here."

The nurse went into the ER and where they had placed the young lady, she saw the dark brown haired man as he stood by the end of the bed as the nurses and the doctors tended to the young woman who was in the bed itself. She tapped his shoulder and whispered to him.

Kafir acknowledged the nurse and went to join his worried friends. He found them all looking very worried, some pacing, some wringing their hands. �I just came from seeing her. I got some bad news from the doctor about her.�

�How badly is she hurt, Kafir?� asked Alantas, looking at him as his hand searched out Shawn�s.

�She miscarried,� said Kafir.

�Miscarried? Are you saying that Terra was�pregnant?� snapped Eros.

�Yes, unfortunately, the father of the child was her brother,� spoke Solace, quietly.

Eros went pale, as did the other Senshi. Alantas swore, "If Endymion wasn't dead already!!" The large Senshi began cursing fluently in several ancient languages.

�But Solace, how did you find out that she was with child and who the father was?� asked Ares.

�She told me and it was obvious to who the father was as she had no other man,� spoke Solace. �She made me promise not to tell anyone about her pregnancy. I believe she did tell two others.�

�Who?� asked Rei.

Kafir cleared his throat. �She told Usagi and me. She wanted a favor from me dealing with the baby. I refused to aid her with what she wanted.�

�Why didn�t she tell me? I�m her cousin!� cried Alantas, as he looked at Kafir and Solace.

Shawn turned to look at him. �I think I know why. She was afraid of losing her newfound family, if she revealed that she was with child especially a child conceived by rape.�

Ryoken spoke, �And plus the father being her own brother would bring even more shame to her if it was found out by others,�

Ares asked, "One thing bothers me is why didn't she conceive before now?"

"He used protection before," Kafir stated.

�That bastard,� whispered several of the Sailors and the Soldiers.

�I�m glad that he�s dead, he would have gloated over this news!� spoke Zeus.

"Or he would have slain her to hide the fact that the child was his." spoke Ami.

Usagi nodded as she asked, looking at Kafir. �Does she know�? Does she know she lost the child?�

"Not yet, I told the doctors to let me tell you first about the child. I want to be able to tell her or Alantas can if he wants," spoke Kafir.

Alantas looked at Kafir and knew his cousin would be heartbroken but thrilled at the loss of the child. He spoke, "You can do it, Kafir. I do not think I could stay calm knowing that she was carrying that bastard's...."

Kafir nodded grimly. He walked out of the room and to the private room where Terra was at. The miscarriage procedure went smoothly for Terra but for some minor pain caused by the Youma attack. He stopped the nurse who was leaving the room. �How is she?�

�She�s resting comfortingly, sir. You can go in and see her now,� said the nurse.

Kafir nodded and entered the room. There on the bed, Terra was softly crying. "Terra, can I talk with you about something?"

"Sure, please sit," Terra whispered.

Kafir took the seat she offered and took her hand in his. "I have some bad news, Terra."

"What...does it deal with the child I have within me?" Terra asked.

"Yes, the Youma attack made you miscarry the child," Kafir said softly.

"So the baby is gone...I am pleased that I lost it. I'm not sad at all. The last vestige of that bastard is dead, he is officially dead." Terra said.

Kafir was slightly surprised by Terra�s statement, �The others will want to see you, Terra,�

�Have they been informed about the child?� asked Terra.

"Yes." Kafir stated.

�What were their reactions, mainly what was Alantas�s reaction to the news?�

"He was enraged by Endymion's getting you with child and slightly hurt that you didn't tell him first so that he could comfort you."

�I couldn�t tell him, Kafir, I wanted to but then the fear of losing him and his mate was too much. I just couldn�t tell him�,� spoke Terra, as tears started to drip from her eyes.

�You would never have lost me, cousin,� spoke a deep baritone voice from the door way.

�Alantas?� asked Terra, turning to look at the shadow standing in the doorway.

�Yes, cousin, it�s me,� whispered Alantas, as he entered the room to go to her side.

�I�m sorry, cousin, for not telling you about the child,� cried Terra.

"It�s alright," Alantas whispered, hugging her. "I just wish you hadn't felt afraid to tell me."

�I wanted to but I didn�t know how you would react to the news, I feared that you would banish me from seeing you again,� said Terra.

"Never -- it wasn't your fault," her cousin reassured her.

�I�m sorry for not telling you,� Terra said.

"So how are you doing now?" asked Alantas.

"I'm doing all right. I do have a question about someone," said Terra.

"Oh?"

�Who was the Soldier to aided me?� asked Terra.

"He was no Soldier Senshi." Alantas said softly. "That was Apollo, Solace's Advisor of War and one of his army's Generals."

�He�s cute,� Terra whispered.

�Cute? You think he�s cute?� spoke Kafir, his face barely hinted the smile that was hinted in his voice.

"What? What's wrong?" Terra asked.

Alantas smiled slightly. "Nothing, I just didn't think you really would notice him and all...in his Human form, I mean."

�I�ll alert Solace to bring Apollo in.� Kafir said, as he headed out of the room to go get Solace. A minute later, Kafir returned and closed the door. �He�ll be here soon.�

Terra looked mildly shocked, �In his human form? You mean he�s not human?�

Knock, knock. Kafir opened the door to see Solace standing there and Terra could see a large cat with black and gold-tipped fur sitting on Solace's shoulder. "Apollo, Terra would like to speak with you."

The cat leapt down gracefully and darted into the room, jumped up on the foot of her medical bed. "Hello, Terra." Apollo said softly. "I hope you�re recovering swiftly."

�I�m doing well now. I hope you forgive my abruptness but I saw you in human form and you�re a cat?�

"Like Luna, Artemis, and my elder brother Eclipse, I am blessed with shape shifting abilities. I can revert to my Human form to aid the Senshi in battle or lead the armies of Sol, and use my cat form to hide in plain sight. My third form is that of a panther, which I use to protect Solaris-sama. Since I have no identification for my human form, I wouldn't have been able to see you that way, so reverting to my feline form was the best choice of checking on you." Apollo said.

�Solace, please close the door. I wish to see you in your human form, Apollo, so I may be able to give you a peck on the cheek, I can�t give a cat a kiss on the cheek,� spoke Terra. Solace closed the door and nodded to Apollo.

Apollo nodded and a brilliant nexus of white and gold light surrounded the feline's form and when it faded away, it revealed a man around Solace�s age. Kneeling at the foot of her bed was 6 feet and 1 inch of a muscular General garbed in black and gold armor with the Sun's emblem proudly glowing on his forehead. His hair color was deep black with golden highlights and his eyes were a feline golden color that accented his sharp feline features.

Apollo was sitting on the edge of the bed when Terra leaned forward and gave him a peck on the cheek. �Thank you for helping me.�

He blushed slightly. "Ah...you are very welcome, Terra-hime."

Terra smiled as she blushed too as she looked at him. Apollo shifted slightly, not used to a woman's scrutiny -- he was a loyal General and warrior in the Armies of the white Sol Kingdom after all.

Alantas noticed the nervousness in Apollo and he broke out into snickers. Apollo turned towards Alantas and he shifted himself to be in a standing position before he bowed to Terra and reverted back to his cat form and leapt onto Solace-san�s shoulder.

"I have never seen Apollo look so embarrassed in my life," said Alantas.

"Shut up or I'll bite you," Apollo growled, his tail twitching and his fur standing up, making him look even bigger.

�Oh please,� said Alantas.

"Well, since you insist...." Apollo growled, revealing his large white very sharp teeth as he tensed to jump on Alantas. Solace reached up and began scratching him under the chin, causing him to pause and purr. "Oh come on, that's not fair, Solaris-sama!" the feline complained, leaning into the scratch.

�Apollo, you did look embarrassed by the peck on the cheek,� Solace said, as he looked at Apollo.

"Oh please sire, don't rub it in," Apollo purred.

Solace looked at Apollo and smiled. "This cat of mine needs to get back to the others and let them know that she wants to see them."

Apollo nodded and leapt from Solace's shoulder. His insignia glowed and the door opened for him. Once, out of the room, Apollo thought to himself. �If I fall in love, it will make me less efficient as an advisor to my sire? I cannot.� He rushed past all the rooms and stepped into the private room where the others were at. �Terra�s asking for you all.�

They headed for the room following Apollo as he leapt onto the bed and curled up on Terra�s lap, watching Alantas carefully. Alantas smirked at the feline and winked. The others were apologizing for not knowing she was being ganged up by the Youma to aid her.

�Well, Apollo helped me. I believe that the Youma knew I was a rookie and ganged up on me.� Terra said, as she stroked Apollo�s coat gently. The feline's eyes closed partially as he purred.

The others chatted till the nurse came into the room and pushed them out telling them that they may see her in the morning. She didn�t even mention that they do not allow cats in the hospital.

�I�ll see you tomorrow,� Terra said, as they left the room.

"Sleep well, Terra." Solace said, as he looked at her before he walked out of the room, leaving Apollo sitting on her lap. He returned a few moments later. "Apollo, my shoulder now,"

"Yes, sire. I'll see you later, Terra. Sleep well." Apollo said, as he bowed to her and leapt onto Solace's shoulder and they walked out of the room and the hospital together.
