Friendships

"Ami." It seemed to be the only word Kate could say.
"Is Amanda here?"
"She just left." Kate answered.
"She said that you had something for me." Ami still didn't look up, but she began to worry when Kate didn't answer.
"Kate?" She looked up and saw her friend looking at the box.
"I think this is yours." She held the box for her.

Ami looked a moment before taking it.
"What is it?"
"Open it."

Kate turned to walk away not wanting to see anything. Untill she heard Ami gasp. It was a necklace from the same set that
Amanda had given her and Carla, and a slip of paper folded in the lid.
Ami opened the paper and read the words.

"Ami.
I wanted you to have this. It came as a set, we don't know eachother well, but... we know someone that we both care about.
I couldn't tell Kate myself, the words that I wanted to say. Because for the short time I've known her...
When I first met you, I knew you were a sweet person, I guess that is why I took to you so quickly. I'm leaving so that you could tell
Kate how you feel. Tell her that...
...that I left so that she may have someone far better suited for her than I.
Me, the one who took her in her need for companionship.
I admit that was really my own interest, that and a cheap place to stay. But, none the less. I fell for her.
Goodbye."

Tears stained the paper and the writing was at times a little hard to read but everything was in the note.
"What does it say."
"Nothing." Ami crumpled up the paper and tossed it away. "You want to go find her?"
"What?" Kate was surprised by the question.
"Do you want to go find her?" Ami knew that her best friend was hurt again. This time a new friend gave up something.
She wasn't about to see her best friend sad and let Amanda just leave.
"Yes." Kate admitted.
"I'll go talk to Cable. Tell him that he can go back home. Meet me at the hotel?"
"Yea."

Kate watched as Ami smiled and walked away.
Kate then retrieved the paper and read it.
"This is going to be awkward." She said putting it in her pocket.

"Kate. The truck guy said he'd give me a good deal, and... Something wrong?"
"No. I'm okay. About the cooking, I can't help. I do have a few favors I could call in. Get you some help. But I need to go."
Carla just looked at Kate with a hint of confusion.
"You could expect a guy named Stan, then Sara and Sally, they're twins."
Carla knew something was up, but didn't want to push any further. "I could use any help."
"I'm going to go pack. I will see you at the wedding. I could at least help you there. And I said I'd pay Ivan for you."

Kate had finished packing and Ami was now waiting outside with Cable. Stan would be arriving
soon and the twins were going to arrive any minute. Even Ivan stayed to help, feeling bad for the situation,
and for getting anything that got slightly burnt or didn't pass Carla's standards.

Kate had seen the gym badges Amanda had, so that left four to search. Even flying she probably couldn't get there in time.
Cable had a good idea for a change. Find the last gym she had been too by calling or whatever, then skip over to the one that would be
third in in her conquest. That meant, if she were in Mauville, and beat it.
" Mossdeep!" She yelled. Running down stairs she went to Ami. "We should wait at Mossdeep for her."
"Wait at Mossdeep for who?" Came two in sync voices. The twins, wearing matching black mid-thigh skirts and pink shirts,
immediatly caught Cable's eye.
Kate gave the two each a hug and intorduced the others before telling them who Amanda was.
Ami and Kate then said their goodbyes, and now even had to say goodbye to Cable, who suddenly wanted to stay and help Carla.

Outside Ami asked. "You think that hornball wanted to stay because of Sally and Sara?"
"Yup."

Ami let out her Tropius and Kate let out her Skarmory. "To Mossdeep!" They said together.
the flight was going to be long for both, each knowing what they knew.

School has been hell, And other things have been happening. Think everything is going to be alright now. Will try and post next week if i get any good ideas.>
