Chapter Seventeen.

They headed towards Rei�s grandfather�s temple. Terra and Alantas helped put the food that they bought from the restaurant in the fridge. Shawn was talking with Rei as two people emerged from the temple with Rei�s grandfather. They handed him a piece of paper before they walked away. Rei�s grandfather shrugged as he went to post the flyer on the message board. He walked away from the message board for the kitchen.

Eros was intrigued by the flyer and went over to look at it. �Hey Rei, come here and look at this?�

�What is it, Eros?� asked Rei, as she went to his side. Her eyes just glanced over the flyer, but she yanked it off the board and ran for the kitchen. �Terra, Terra!�

Terra came out of the kitchen with Alantas and Shawn behind her. �What�s wrong?�

�Here, read this,� said Rei, handing her the flyer.

Terra looked down at the flyer and saw the name on the flyer. �Where are they?�

�Where�s who are?� asked Eros.

�Kunijo Hoshi and Sasuke, the ones who gave you this flyer, where are they?� asked Terra.

�They left the temple already. Why, do you know them?� asked Eros.

�Yes! They�re my foster parents!� yelled Terra, as she went rushing from the temple to look both ways. �Where are they!?�

Through their empathic link with Terra, they felt her despair of being so close to them again after all these years and now losing them again. Alantas and Eros started to scan the crowds. Eros noticed a possible couple and said, �I think I found them Terra! In this direction,�

Terra raced in the direction and yelled, �Hoshi! Sasuke! Wait! Papa! Mama! I�m here!�

The couple stopped and turned to see Terra running towards them. Their eyes looked at her and one had a perplexed look and the other realized who it was who was standing before them.

�Terra!� she cried out running towards Terra and hugging her. Her hand running over her hair as she cried.

�Mama,� Terra cried as she held her even tighter.

�Oh Terra, where were you? We been searching everywhere for you?� Hoshi asked, before she turned to the man and cried, �Sasuke, we found our missing foster daughter!�

The man didn�t have a good look on his face. �I do not know if she is our foster daughter, Hoshi.�

�Papa! I am the foster daughter you raised till I was fourteen years old before my older brother showed up to claim me as his own,� said Terra.

�Sasuke, this is our foster daughter! How would someone know about that?� spoke Hoshi.

�Anyone could have pulled that out of thin air.� He said.

�Mamoru was a child abuser. He abused me when we were young. He caused my parents to die! The only one who knew about that beyond him and me was the two of you!� spoke Terra.

Alantas walked up towards them. �Terra? Who are these two?�

�Hoshi, Sasuke, this is my cousin Alantas and his girlfriend Shawn and our friend Eros.� Terra said as she looked at them and then to Hoshi and Sasuke.

�Sasuke-san, I know we just met but I can assure you that she is Terra, the foster child you raised till her rapist of a brother claimed her from you,� Alantas spoke, after he bowed respectfully to him.

Hoshi looked at Alantas and asked, �What do you mean by that?�

Eros spoke, �Chiba Mamoru was convicted of raping and beating his girlfriend Tsukino Usagi. What he did to Chiba Terra was far worse, than what he did to Usagi.�

�Eros!� spoke Terra, lightly slapping his back. Terra turned to see Rei walking down the street towards them. �Rei, do you mind if we use one of the temple rooms? I need to talk to my foster parents about Mamoru?�

�Of course, Terra,� Rei said, as they headed back to the temple and towards one of the private rooms.

They entered the room and knelt around a small table. Sasuke and Hoshi looked at the young girl who sat before them, twisting a small strand of her long black hair.

�I told you that my brother beat me when we were young children and that when I was three years old to his nine years, he murdered my parents as they drove him to the police station to report his battery of me.� Terra said.

�I remember you saying something like that. That he must have killed your parents as he was the only one who could do something like that.� Hoshi said.

�It was only after you left our home to live with your brother, did we start to wonder about that. We asked the police about it and we were not satisfied with the answers. We did some digging of our own and found that your brother did get away with the murder of your parents. We heard about him being charged with raping a young woman and gave what evidence we found to the DA but they didn�t want to charge him with murder on top of raping a young woman.� Sasuke said.

�But they did state it in their cross examination of Mamoru and he denied killing his folks, but I don�t think the judge bought that. You are supposed to honor and respect your parents not kill them,� Alantas stated.

�Indeed,� said Hoshi. �So what happened to you, Terra, that made you go into hiding? We went to your school here and they said that you never returned to school over five months ago?�

Terra breathed in deep and was just about to speak when Rei entered the room carrying a tray. Rei had brought them some hot tea to drink while they were talking. Rei smiled at Terra and slipped back out of the room, listening in on the conversation through the mental link shared by all the sailors and soldier Senshi.

�I was in prison, Hoshi.� Terra said, as she picked up the cup of tea and took a sip from it.

�Prison, where?� asked Sasuke.

�In the second bedroom of my brother�s apartment, near death I was.� Terra stated, calmly and yet she shivered slightly at the thought of the room that she nearly died in.

Hoshi was shocked as she leaned over to Terra and hugged her as Sasuke sat there shocked.

�But how did you get free, Terra, who rescued you?� Sasuke asked.

�You know those Sailor and Soldier Senshi that fight those Youma and other monsters?� asked Terra.

�Yes,� Hoshi spoke.

�Did they�find you?� Sasuke asked.

�Yes, but I was barely alive. The Soldier Senshi of Saturn gave me some of his energy so I could survive the trip to their home where I stayed recovering from my near death. Mamoru had soundproofed the room I was thrown into,� said Terra, as she picked up her cup of tea and took a sip from it.

�But why didn�t you escape?� asked Sasuke.

�How could I with chains on my wrists, Sasuke?� asked Terra.

�What do you mean chains?� he asked.

�Let me tell you from the beginning as answering one question after another will just take too long. It was three years and four months after I was returned to my brother . . .� spoke Terra.
