DN Mpreg XVII:
The rain soaked his shirt, penetrated through to his skin sending shivers up his spine yet it felt refreshing. It always rained this time of year, lasting sometimes for days on end, rather like L's mood. He was on the roof of the building, his favourite place to think and to be alone when he needed to. It had been some time since he had been up here alone after being tied to Light for so long. Still a little unnerved after what had happened with Misa, he let out a heavy sigh. Thoughts of Kira and Higuchi were on his mind, yet something else was seeping into his brain, the thoughts of the life inside of him. He touched his stomach and felt the warmth against his hands. 'Men aren't supposed to get pregnant,' he thought. He considered himself an abomination to nature. Not just his body but his whole character in general was changing, out of the norm. L didn't like who he was becoming, his first mistake was that he had fallen for the one person he shouldn't have. It was one thing to discover he was a homosexual; to discover that he was not even fully male was phenomenal. He did not believe in the Christian Heaven or Hell, but he entertained the thought that someone outside their physical world truly hated him. He was not even aware he was capable of having feelings for anyone because of his hermit habits and lack of social contact. He labelled himself as asexual since nothing seemed to spark any perverse or sexual urges, not even the porn he often came across experimentally on his computer. This indeed was another thing new to him. So much change in such little time, and L hated change. Could Light have been right about his autism since this was a characteristic?
Too many second thoughts. Too much doubt. Who was this odd person wearing his skin? Where had the real L gone to?
L shrugged and ceased his thinking of things unchangeable and decided it was just who he was now, although he was unsure of what category he fell under now; was he a detective, a lover or a parent-to-be? In more ways than one, he felt he had lost touch of who he really was. Maybe, he thought, he had never had the chance to be himself or develop his character? So many questions and he didn't know the answer, yet there was one question he was desperate to know the answer to: Who is Kira?
He touched his throat that still felt sore where Misa had tried to strangle him. He could feel her claw marks, the skin had risen above his skin. Could her reaction and the words she said be another clue to Light being Kira? She was a faithful Kira follower and a devoted lover to Light with a broken, betrayed heart. To discover her true love impregnated another (a man at that), even he would have snapped had he been in her stilettos; she could not be blamed. It was her words that she shouted back that prickled his suspicion. She yelled at Light, but she voiced the thoughts that L found himself thinking about himself. Could it be that even Light had turned into a stranger? If so, who was he really? He stared up at the sky looking for answers, as if the grey clouds would help him reach a reasonable conclusion.
Water dripped from his hair down his shirt and trickled down his back. He was starting to shiver and pondered whether to head back inside when he heard the door to the roof creak open then close softly.
"What are you doing in a place like this, Ryuuzaki?" the familiar and warm voice of Light called out to him. The sound of the water beating against the rooftop made it almost impossible to hear so he held his hand to his ear. Light repeated his question. L still couldn't hear him. Fed up, Light gave up trying to stay dry by sheltering against the building and headed out into the rain alongside L.
"Nothing unusual, it's just I hear the bells," the detective said when Light stood beside him.
"Bells?" Light's face bore a look of confusion as the detective continued to stare into the distance, and in the meantime they were both getting wetter.
"Yes. They are loud today, aren't they?"
"I can't hear anything over the sound of the rain," he replied. L was acting a little more strangely than usual but watching him stand there all wet in the rain was starting to awaken other thoughts inappropriate for this moment but maybe not later in the day.
"Really? And yet the conditions are so favourable that you can't help but hear them." L paused for a moment. "It's a church, a wedding maybe or perhaps..."
L's auburn haired companion was getting annoyed even though he was used to L's strange ways. "What are you talking about Ryuuzaki? Don't say such pointless things," he said impatiently "We should head back inside. The last thing we want is for you to catch a cold in your condition." The soggy detective looked up with his panda eyes at Light as he approached. A look of concern spread across Light's face making L think to himself if this really could be the look of a killer. “I'm sorry about Misa, I didn't know she would react this way. You don't trust me any more do you, Ryuuzaki?" Light brought his hand to L's chin and the detective turned his face away.
"Anymore? When did I start trusting you?" L smiled wryly at him. "I cannot afford to trust anyone in these times."
"That's true. You try not to get involved with people because if it's something that shouldn't be, you shouldn't get involved in the first place. Although now you have broken your own rule by allowing some humanity into your heart." Light looked at L, searching for a reaction. Of course, L just looked up at the rain, acting like he didn't hear him.
"Yes, you're right, Light-kun." Light tried again to advance on L to comfort him but L pulled back. "But you're the same as me."
He looked his lover firmly into his eyes now, deep and mysterious they were. "What do you mean?"
"Since you were born, have you ever told the truth once?" L's eyes flashed, reading Light and trying to know the answer before his lips even spoke, but Light wasn't going to give in to another of L's mind-games. He remained silent, the kind of eerie awkward silence of tension in the air that made itself at home between them settled. He would have to think fast of what to answer as a wrong answer could land him in prison again.
"What are you saying, Ryuuzaki? It's true I have lied on occasion but everybody lies. I doubt there are any humans who have never told a lie. Nobody is perfect. However, I won't tell lies that hurt those I love." L looked up at Light, mildly satisfied by his reply as it still didn't tell him what he wanted about Kira. "I'll protect you no matter what, even if it's from myself. Ryuuzaki, if I am Kira then you know what to do, not just for the sake of our child but for the whole world...”
L looked up at him through wet bangs. "Remember, Light-kun, that you are still under suspicion. Everything you have just said as been accounted for and will remain in my mental file cabinet as possible Kira confessions. I must say that your percentage has risen..."
Light, ignoring his lover's words, stepped closer to him and placed his hands on the detectives hips, noticing they had become more accentuated under his hands, perhaps his body shape was changing like what happens to many women during pregnancy. “I'll stand by your side no matter what.” He placed a soft kiss on L's forehead.
The ravenhead had given up on trying to fight against Light and allowed himself to be embraced, he could feel his own body temperature rise as Light's body heat spread though him. Ebony locks pressed against Light's cheek they stood there for a moment, Light wishing the moment would never end and L enjoying Light's arms around him yet still wary. The logical part of his brain warned him that he was continuing to delve into the poison that was slowly killing him. Yet, he ignored the rationality. How very...odd...for him.
"We should head inside," L suggested.
"Then why are we still standing here?" the younger male replied eagerly.
“I...” His protest was blocked by Light's lips on his, gently kissing, slowly, passionately and lovingly. L's lips were cold from the rain but was slowly being warmed by friction. Light swept some of his wet hair aside so he could gaze into those orb like eyes again, the eyes seemed so alive when they made love yet looked dull right now. But behind the dullness he knew inside was a brain that never ceased ticking, thinking, calculating...
"Cheer up," Light said, kissing L's jawline and at the same time his hands gently reached under L's wet shirt that stuck to his body. His thumbs traced the waistband of L's baggy jeans slowly stroking the inside of his hips the reached with his fingers round to L's behind and pulled their hips closer together. L's hands gripped at Light's sleeves, almost wanting to push him away but sin was winning. Eventually L gave in to Light and kissed back longingly, tongues clashed until audible sounds of pleasure could be heard. The bells seemed to have grown silent but Light's heartbeat was as loud as ever as he pressed himself against his lover, a comforting sound it was. It reminded him of the baby's heartbeat growing inside of him.
The kiss became hotter and desperate between them. Light grabbed at L's hair, inclining his head while his other hand pushed slightly on the small of his back, making the pregnant male lean more into him. Goosebumps on his arms caused by the rain chilled even more as the auburn haired teenager ran his fingers ghostly over his skin. The detective shivered.
Light pulled back. He cupped L's face, wiping a stray raindrop with the pad of his thumb. "We should go inside now before you catch a cold."
L placed a hand over his abdomen. "I think you're right. The baby is moving more than usual."
Light looked upon his stomach with keener eyes. His eyebrows slightly creased. "What does it feel like? The baby, I mean."
"Gas. It feels a lot like gas."
Quite surprised by that answer, Light looked at the detective, waiting for a better description other than 'gas' but L seemed confident in his answer. "Oh."
"It's still small," L said as he scratched gently at it through his shirt.
"I wish I could feel it." Experimentally, he laid his hand over the slight swell. The skin was tight but underneath there was no movement like when he remembered as a young child when he put his little hands over the giant swell of his mother's stomach when she was pregnant with Sayu. However, he did feel the flutter of something else. "I can feel your heartbeat," he said.
"My heart rate must increase because of the fetus."
"Is that all there is to it?" Caramel eyes met with obsidian. The rain was cold yet the two could also feel the heat of desire growing stronger as they held back from their carnal desires for the moment.
"Come on." Light lead L inside by the hand.

Light was drying his hair off on the stairs that lead up to the roof, waiting for L to join him. He had said he would join him shortly. True to his word, the soggy detective appeared with his towel draped over his head and hair still dripping moisture onto the floor with a 'plop plop plop'.
"What a terrible storm," L said, making small talk. He had not noticed before but Light's body was completely visible through the soaked fabric of his shirt. He could even see his nipples which stood outright because of the cold. His fingers itched to touch bare chest and to run his tongue over the nubs and taste them again; it had been so long since he and Light had any intimacy. Yet, these thoughts were not "L thoughts" and were not acted upon. However, he did not look away because he had found staring was his most intimidating method.
"It's your fault. You were the one who decided to go out in the rain," Light replied, and L gave a smirk.
"That's true, I apologise." He stopped for a moment and watched Light dry himself. So perfect the boy was, and sometimes L wondered what someone like Light would see in him. Then again, as he had just stated moments ago on the roof, they were the same: they knew what the other was thinking without speaking, and they were both manipulative and cunning as well as intelligent. Stubbornness was another trait they had in common, making L wonder what their child's character would be like. There could be no way their son or daughter would grow up to be "normal" with parents such as themselves. Light fit the parental role better than he, however, L would not give his child to the clutches of Kira.
Then again...had he not already?
Light was rubbing his face with his towel and was caught off guard by L who suddenly bent down and reached for his bare right foot.
"Ryuuzaki... what are you ..." he concealed a blush as he felt his arousal grow; L was very close to him again, and though he was not the type of person that liked his feet touched, it felt quite nice.
"I thought I'd give you a hand and help dry you off." His obsidian eyes with a gentle expression looked into Light's hazel eyes. "I'll give you a massage too." His cold fingers tickled Light's sole as they wrapped around his foot, sending a shiver down his spine.
"You know you don't have to."
"I want to..., it's the least I can do, and I'm pretty good at it." Light observed L as he gently rubbed the soft towel against Light's foot, then delicately between his toes, caressing them almost like he was touching a piece of silk cloth. As his bony fingers kneaded skin, his eyes locked on with hard concentration. Light was used to him doing everything one handed that he almost expected a thumb to rise to his lips as he concentrated on his work but both hands remained on his toes, outlining each metatarsal.
"Do what you want," he replied and looked away as he didn't want to admit to L that he was ticklish in that sensitive area. He watched as L brought his lips to Light's toes and then gently licked his big toe then began to suck on it, much to Light's horror. He tried to pull his foot away but L had a firm grip on it and pressed it against his cheek. L's lips found their way to his instep and out came his devilish tongue.
"It appears Light-kun's feet are very ticklish." He could tell by the way Light's foot was jerking about trying to break free of L's teasing. His foot gave a sharp twitch when something cold stung his foot.
"No, it's the fact that you're sucking on my toes that is creeping me out," he said blatantly. Several drops of water fell onto his skin. "You're still wet." Light reached for his towel and wiped the stray droplets from L's hair so it would no longer drip on his foot. When he was done, he brushed the towel affectionately against L's cheek and gave a smile.
"Light-kun..." L looked up again and allowed Light to entice him forward with the towel under his chin until their lips met. The tentative awkwardness between them broke as they embraced once again as lovers. Light pulled L onto his lap, much to L's disapproval due to his new, protruding feature, but he stayed and put his arms around the younger male nonetheless. He breathed in Light's scent and nuzzled his neck as if trying to memorise all of his features. Then his lips met skin and he gently sucked at Light's neck, breaking the suction only to plant a kiss on the smooth skin that he had just marked. Beneath him he could feel Light's arousal rub against his own concealed beneath jeans. His hands grabbed at Light's hair, pulling him into a heated kiss, carnal passion and wanton desire rushing through his body, heartbeat rising and hormones flooding his body. Light's hands reached for L's behind, pulling him closer, creating more friction, and a moan escaped his lips.
"Light..." He trailed off, breathing heavy as Light's lips made their way up his sternum, "So wrong... yet it feels..." The words echoed through L's mind in a stew of other thoughts he never voiced. Light held Ryuuzaki tight, hoping with his life that he would be able to convey one thought to his lover through physical contact: that he wasn't Kira and if he were, he'd be able to stop himself. What Misa had said only seemed to push the accusation of Kira towards Light again. No matter the situation he always knew where he stood. That was no longer the case. It felt as though a secret was residing in the dark, causing him to be cautious around corners lest he come across something better forgotten. Not one to actually believe in love but toleration, he knew his feelings for L were different from any relationship or anyone he had in the past, and he didn't want to lose that. He didn't want to be who he once was. He wanted to be the Light Yagami he was now.
"Ryuuzaki, I want you to know I ..." But what he was going to say was suddenly cut off by the sound of L's mobile phone.
L reached into his back pocket, slightly annoyed by their interruption. It was Matsuda. Light felt L's annoyance and kissed him reassuringly on the cheek while he listened to the conversation, though L said very little.
"... I understand. I'll be there soon."
"Oh, and you two might want to consider getting a room. We can see you on camera," he heard from the other line. He could almost see Matsuda with red cheeks and the other investigators looking away from the monitors. L snapped the phone closed, never one to actually dismiss a conversation.
"Ryuuzaki?" the auburn male asked as his hand traced behind L's ear, placing a lock of jet black hair behind it. It soon fell out in front of his face, too short to be pushed to the side.
"It's Higuchi," he stated, no longer in the breathy tone of sensual desire, "He's collapsed from exhaustion. Now we have to wait for him to recover enough to continue our investigation." L sighed. That's all they needed: more delays, and in the meantime it could mean that Kira is able to get the upper hand. Reluctantly, and still aroused, they headed back down to the investigation room.

Blond locks passed through the teeth of an ebony comb, lips as red as the skin of an apple and eyes green like emeralds looked upon its reflection. Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who's the fairest of them all? Misa Amane was the lust object of many men except to the one man she wanted: Light Yagami. She laid on her bed, the comb tossed aside, looking up at the ceiling as if waiting for someone to pass through it.
"Stupid Ryuuzaki messing up my future with Light-kun," she wailed aloud, "How could he do this to Misa-Misa?" She sounded like a sulky child but refused to care. Misa was used to getting what she wanted and would do anything in her path to achieve her goals. With a "humph", she crossed her arms and sat, trying to devise a plan to overthrow L and ensure Light was Kira once again. Together, she and Light would rule over a new world side by side. God and Goddess. Even if she didn't have her memories of the Death Note, she would do anything to bring Kira back. What she needed was to get Light to hold the Death Note, but L was always by his side even with that damn annoying chain out of the picture. Nothing constructive would happen with L in the picture. To get L, she needed Kira. For Kira, she needed Light. In order to get Light, she needed to get rid of L. Thus, the cycle continued. However, if she could somehow separate them, it would help matters in her favour. The question was how...
It must have been easy work being a genius because an answer never gracefully descended into her lap like what seemed to happen to Light or Ryuuzaki. She was fishing in the dark. Frustrated, she grabbed one of the throw pillows on her bed and followed its name and threw it across the room where it bounced off the wall and flopped to the floor. It would have been better if something had broke; at least then she knew she made some kind of change even if destructive. But nothing ever went right. Not with life, and not with Light. Stolen right under her nose by the corrupting weasel. It was time for Sleeping Beauty to arise from her deep sleep and take on Maleficent on her own in order to protect her Prince Charming. She suspected that L sensed his demise had been approaching and took a drastic step. Yes, that must be it. But to put together such a bold face lie as pregnancy...?
Then again, she remembered the rage, the heat that covered her like a veil and the way her nails itched to meet blood, when she attacked him. Even through the redness, she saw him and his "condition". Even felt it when she sat on top and pinned him down. She had worn the best pregnancy costumes and underclothes for movies but what L had under his shirt did not feel like any material she had ever worn. It felt like tight skin.
It was so unbelievable, she could not help but believe it.
She unclenched her fist as she began to control her breathing which had become short. She had already broken one nail today. It was not fair! She was the one meant to sire the children of the God of the New World, not some hermaphrodite, in-human, freak of nature! Light would never stay with such an imperfection as Ryuuzaki, especially not with a pregnant man! She was Misa Amane, a star and the envy of beauty. If anyone deserved to be with Light Yagami, it was she. She would show him a real woman. The child she will later bear for him will be a million times better than whatever monstrosity L was creating life for. How he could stand to be with something so obviously wrong for humanity, for something so wrong in general...
Misa sat up. Fishing in the dark long enough had finally let her catch something, and she pulled and pulled until it fell into her lap. The answer. The wheels in her brain cranked and creaked and sped along as a plan materialised inside her skull.
She remembered in the animes and cartoons she watched as a child the antagonist or "bad guy" would laugh like a maniac whenever they formulated plans; she understood now why they did so because she felt like bellowing. A malicious, dark feeling curled inside her chest and made itself at home, and it felt so damn good.
"Never should have let me go, L," she muttered to the dusty air and the porcelain dolls, "Never should have let me go..."
____________________________________________________________
"You didn't have to be so obvious."
"They already know the reason, do they not?"
"Yes but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be courteous."
"Then why lie about something so obvious in the first place?"
Though they bantered back and forth about L announcing to the room that they needed to leave early so he and Light could have intercourse, it still did not deter them from reaching said goal. Clothes were stripped as retorts flung back and forth like a tennis match. Light was down to his boxer-briefs and in the middle of his explanation about why he would rather not like his father knowing when he was intimate but then noticed L had stopped undressing early as he sat in bed with only his shirt on.
"Take your shirt off," Light softly said.
"I'd rather not tonight."
Slightly surprised, Light looked at him with a slight puzzled expression. "Why not?" he asked.
L pulled his knees up but then brought them back down. He forgot so frequently that it was impossible now for him to sit the way he used to. He poked at his abdomen. "No reason in particular," he said when he looked up at his nearly naked lover.
For a few ticking seconds, Light took the time to wonder if L had something to hide, a cake slice or cookies. He had been sneaking more food into the bedroom even after Light had scolded him when he awoke to crumbs itching his back. But this was not some stolen pastry L was hiding.
"Ryuuzaki," the auburn male said as he sat on the bed, "Do you not want me to see your stomach?"
"What do you mean?"
"Why won't you take off your shirt?"
"What's wrong with not removing it?"
"Because it gets in the way. Why are you answering my questions with questions?"
"Have I been doing that?"
Light's mouth opened to retort and keep this match going but decided not to take this road again; besides, it was clearly seen that it was amusing to L how quickly and efficiently he got on his nerves. Instead, he just smiled and shook his head then proceeded to crawl towards the detective. "My, is the world's greatest detective bashful?"
L's eyebrows slightly rose. "I beg your pardon, Light-kun?"
"I've seen you naked over a hundred times," he continued to purr as he inched closer and closer, "Why should it bother you now?"
"You seem the most upset..." L's words were swallowed as lips touched and his back drifted down to the mattress and made contact. Light hovered over him, balancing on his elbows and turning his head slightly to get better access into the kiss. He brought his knee between L's thighs and rubbed against the bulge present. He grated his teeth against the detective's tongue in his mouth, biting at it gently.
They had only kissed for seconds, yet L's lips were tinged red from the blood rising to the surface. Light looked down at him and studied the way his dark hair contrasted to their white sheets and pillows. With one hand he traced L's cheek, skimming the soft skin with the pad of his thumb. When L blinked, he could feel the lashes touch his fingertips like a soft caress. "If I were to be upset," he purred into L's ear as he brought the earlobe between his teeth, "it would be because we were disrupted on the roof."
"Would you have liked to have sex on the roof then, Light-kun?"
A fork of lightning illuminated the dark room followed by a roll of thunder. Light smiled. "Perhaps when the weather clears."
The detective's hands snaked behind Light's head. "I always did suspect that Light-kun was an exhibitionist."
"I said it would be nice on the roof. I didn't say anything about an audience."
"Would you be worried they would grade you poorly on your performance?"
"No, I couldn't stand knowing they were seeing you in passion. I feel I should be the only one to see that."
"Would you like to see it again tonight?" L's lips curled into a mischievous grin.
Light's eyebrows rose in surprise but his wry grin did very little to hide how pleased he was. "My. Ryuuzaki, you're quite preponderant tonight."
L cocked his head. "When am I not?"
"Well, usually not in the bedroom. I usually take the lead."
The detective wrapped his arms around his lover's neck. "That's because I allow you to. Now. Shut up and kiss me."
Light obliged and kissed him on the lips, his tongue darted inside and tangoed with the wet muscle. L's taste was always sweet like the sweets he ate. Tonight, though, he could taste the rain upon his lips. He even smelled of water. L's hands traced Light's shoulders and his back, gently pulling on him to bring him closer but Light would not let himself sink and lower on top of him.
"I don't want to hurt the baby," he whispered against pale, slightly swollen lips.
"You won't," L told. He tried to pull him closer again but Light stayed where he was, a good few inches away. The detective sighed through his nose and pushed the brunet away. "Fine," was all he said as he lifted the covers from the mattress and walked out.
Light stared dumbfounded as L shut the door behind him. "Wait! Where are you..." He released a frustrated sigh but perked up when the door reopened and L entered. "What--?"
"Lie on your back," Ryuuzaki instructed. He was holding a long, thin chain, the same chain that had bound them at the wrist just a week prior. He climbed on the bed and pushed down on Light's chest when the brunet did not obey him. He straddled his hips, leaned forward and latched one of the cuffs on Light's left wrist. The chain was wrapped twice around the middle opening of the headboard before cuffed around his right, leaving his arms above his head but with room to move his arms to a certain point. Light was no stranger to bondage; some of the girls he had relationships with liked to be tied down by handcuffs or a belt. This was his first time on the receiving end of this kind of play, though.
"Seems like you are already enjoying this," L said as the tip of his fingers traced over the distinct bulge in Light's underwear.
Light arched into his touch, needing more touching 'there'. "Mmm," he groaned as the waistband of his boxers slid past his bum and down his knees until they were off and he was exposed and tied to the bed.
"Now," L said, "how about that birthday present you owe me from the other day?" His thumb came to his lips and his voice sounded unusually seductive; this wasn't the L Light was used to. It was not the first time L acted quite peculiar, though, and it was completely normal (even if completely abnormal) pregnant person to have an increased libido. Still, this L whose eyes gleamed sexually sadistically made Light feel slightly apprehensive. His bound hands suddenly felt tighter. He felt claustrophobic, and Light Yagami did not suffer from claustrophobia. The only time he ever felt suffocated were the two months bound in his cell with the cameras of L looming over him, watching him to screw up. And behind the lens, behind the cameras, he imagined Ryuuzaki--No, L-- looking exactly like he did now. His dark orbs flashing with a dark fixation on his person, much like now but with a more heated, sexual desire.
Still, even with this new slight panic dwelling inside as the memories of the cage were a very touchy subject, he remained stoic and calm. He wondered if this new L that had turned into his lover could see his buried discomfort.
The old L would have.
"That was a one time offer, Ryuuzaki. You should've taken it when you had the chance." Light bit on his bottom lip anxiously. He assumed that it had been established between them that he was the designated "topper". He didn't really like being on the receiving end if he could help it. The one time he allowed Ryuuzaki to top him was simply out of fairness. It was not unsatisfactory but his previous role seemed more suitable for the both of them, yet the bold ravenhead in front of him was persistent. He teased open Light's legs.
"How about I take it now?" His sugary lips descended on his partners heated organ causing him to let out an uncertain moan of pleasure. He sucked, licked and twirled his tongue around Light's erection as if it were a large ice lolly. Underneath him he felt Light's hips jerk with excitement, his organ becoming overstimulated. The chains jerked and jingled as they were pulled on. Then, much to Light's dismay, L released his lips. He reached for a pillow and pulled out a rather long goose feather from it.
"Now I wonder if Yagami-kun is ticklish?" Light noted the use of his surname was L's way to assert his dominance.
The feather was slightly bent and the sharp end was filed down into a little nub so as not to stab anyone while sleeping. The detective twirled it between his fingers like a menacing piece of torture equipment but Light simply looked at it then to the holder.
"I can already tell you that your efforts to do so will be futile," he retorted, "I'm not ticklish anywhere."
L's lips stretched into a grin. His eyes narrowed. "Oh, I believe you, Yagami-kun. I can't imagine you to be in a fit of giggles after having someone tease the ball of your foot or underarm." Light's toe slightly twitched as he remembered L's mouth over it; oh how he hated his feet to be touched. "However, I wasn't going to tickle you that way."
The feather descended upon his erection, the greyish white vane touched his skin and was gently stroked. At first, Light felt no sensation but when the tip of the feather tickled the his tip, his toes curled. The feather was not completely soft but had a tolerable roughness to its texture. It stroked down his shaft and smoothed over his pubic hairs and balls. His penis twitched. It was not exactly the kind of teasing or foreplay he liked but it was something new, and as long as his hands were still suspended, there was little he could do. As L tormented the feather to tease his lover's organ, his face melted into a mask of observance. His thumb balanced on his bottom lip, slightly pressing on it with his teeth but not exactly biting.
"I heard that using a feather was one of the most famous foreplay techniques," L said. He brought his hand down and stroked the vein underneath Light's shaft with the pads of his fingers. "But you were already hard when we began so the experiment is undetermined."
Light wanted to laugh. Talking of experiments and testing hypothesises he stumbled upon, this was more like the L he knew. The suffocating feeling pressing on his lungs eased. "Why don't we get rid of the feather then?"
L's obsidian eyes rose to Light's. He cocked his head in thought and twirled the stem of the feather between his pointer and thumb like he held everything else. He lifted it for inspection and seemed unsatisfied. "Perhaps a better feather is in order? Yes. I should use another feather and not one from a pillow. An ostrich feather perhaps? I heard that was popular."
"Just forget it," Light said, sighing through his nose but not unhappily. L's cat-like grin returned and he moved his face closer to Light's almost as if he wanted to kiss him but holding back to tease the younger male. Light raised an eyebrow. "What?"
"It is quite late," the detective answered, "You will be tired in the morning. Should we finish?"
What was more humorous than L's attempt at foreplay was his dismiss of it. Why beat around when there are more important things that need to be done? Without waiting for Light's answer (because there really was no need for him to reply), L removed himself from Light and returned with the usual bottle of lube. He squirt it on his fingers and applied it to his entrance, all while looking as un-sexy as possible. There was no need to put on any show and Light did not mind as long as he wasn't on the receiving end. He couldn't bear the thought of being impaled by his well endowed partner.
L eased himself onto Light, balancing on his knees. He did not verbalize the slight discomfort other than the intake of breath and the sigh that followed afterwards. Being inside him, it felt like a puzzle piece fall into its place, Light decided. His wrists were rubbing raw against the cuffs as their shifting and thrusting increased. L still wore his shirt but with the little bit of covering it did made it seem more sexy. The rode together like the waves of the ocean. In the glow of the lamplight, L's cheeks were blushing red with pleasure, particles of sweat glittered their bodies. Light rose his knees to push deeper into the detective, and that is when he began to be more verbal with each onslaught on his prostate.
Then there was only heavy panting and wetness. Strands of raven hair stuck to L's face while Light's splayed over the pillow. The detective removed himself and with legs shaking like a new born filly, sat at the edge of the bed.
"I need a shower," he stated and stood up.
Light lifted his head. "Wait, aren't you going to uncuff me?"
L looked back at him. Semen spread down his thighs. "You'll be there when I am done." He walked inside the bathroom and shut the door.
Light glared at the offended hardwood framing. "Bastard."

"Bastard."
