"I give up," Akane grumbled. "We've spent hours looking. They're not at home, they're not shopping, they're not eating at the regular places...either those demonesses already got them, or they're too hidden for anyone to find anyway. Ranma agreed. She and Akane had been looking for Akane's friends for hours with no luck. The changes happened fairly quickly with her. A tail grew out of Kodachi's back, black and covered with hard exoskeleton, like a scorpion's tail. The changes were over after that. Ranma cringed as she expected Kodachi to attack her, but nothing happened. She opened her eyes and saw that Kodachi was just standing there, staring at her.
"Uh...Kodachi?" Ranma asked.
"Yes, Mistress?" Kodachi answered.
