Disclaimer: I do not own Soul Eater or make any money off this fanfiction. I do, however, own my OC's Yin and Yang |
Groaning, I squeezed my eyes shut, clutching the closest thing near me as I tried to fall back to sleep. It was too early to get up. “Soul… it’s time to get up… Soul…” stirring slightly, I groggily opened my eyes, my vision obscured by dark purple silk.
“Huh?” a hand was placed on my shoulder, pushing me up. Getting to my knees and forearms, I hovered over a slightly flushed Yang; my head was level with her chest. My mind was still foggy.
“Are you two up…? Oh, well excuse me~” the cross-dresser, Ryu wasn’t it?, stood in the doorway, grinning widely at us both. “If you two are in the middle of something, may I suggest putting up the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door handle?” Yang pulled the pillow out from under her head, throwing it at the Sniper weapon. “Okay! Okay! We’ll give you two hours!” Ryu quickly closed the door, laughing to himself.
“Soul…” in seconds I pressed my mouth against hers, pressing one of Yang’s thighs against my waist. Just as I thought. She tasted as sweet as honey. Actually getting to taste her made my already foggy mind even more unclear. Her tiny hands desperately tried to hold on to my forearms, her thighs and knees pressing more and more against my sides, holding my body closer to hers. “S-Soul…” my lips moved down to her jaw, nipping slightly at the soft flesh as she tripped over my name. “W-We need to hurry back to Death C-City!” I dragged my tongue over her pulse, feeling the quick rush of blood underneath.
I decided to press my luck, trailing my hand up her lift thigh, just feeling how soft her milky skin really was. Yang covered my hand with hers, preventing any more movement, seeing as I already pushed the hem of her silky nightdress up to her waist. “S-Sorry…” I rasped out, leaning back on my knees. She didn’t move for a while, instead she tried catching her breath before getting up, the nightdress falling back into place to cover white silk. Yang grabbed her bag and disappeared into the bathroom. Once she was out of sight, I grabbed one of the remaining pillows and covered my face. “Argh! I’m such a dumbass!”
•Yang’s Point of View•
My heart raced as I pressed myself up against the door, sliding down until I sat on my ass. Without even looking in the mirror, I could tell my face was flushed by how warm it was. Shaking my head, I got up and changed into a pair of low-rise dark blue jeans and a long-sleeve reddish-orange dress shirt after putting on a bra, leaving the top three buttons undone. After I checked to make sure, my composure was normal, I exited the bathroom and put on my heels, carefully putting my dirty clothes in my tiny backpack.
Soul calmly stood by the door, his head bowed, completely dressed with his bag in hand. It was hard to tell if this was going to be awkward or not, between us both. So far, so good. It was not as awkward as I thought it would be, as I walked along side Soul, returning our card keys and exiting the hotel. I stood silently, waiting for him to ride up on his motorcycle. ‘It must be hormones… That is all it is. There is no way Soul could possibly like me like that…’ but that did not seem to cheer me up. Matter of fact, it just made me sadder.
•Yin’s Point of View•
“How do you think they are doing, Yin?” Maka asked, taking the empty seat next to me. It was a little odd, being her temporary weapon’s partner, but we made do. I shrugged at her question, not really knowing so myself. Maka sighed heavily. “I bet they’re doing more than fine. Yang is a great Meister, no matter how you look at it. She’s probably better suited for Soul, anyhow…”
“I don’t think Sister would ever take your partner away from you, if that’s what you are worried about.” I stated, a little curious on where this conversation was going.
Maka’s green eyes bore into my mismatched ones, staring intently. “You’re so naïve, Yin. But that’s what I like about you.” I was confused. Maka sighed once more, before smiling slyly at me. I blinked, curious at what she was thinking. “Don’t you think your sister and Soul look cute together?”
Where did this question come from? “Doesn’t she look cute with anyone, though?” behind us both, Tsubaki giggled.
“Maka meant as ‘boyfriend’ and ‘girlfriend’.” Tsubaki clarified.
“But aren’t they already? I mean, Maka’s my girl friend, just like you, Liz, Patty, and Kipp are, too.” Maka’s cheeks turned rosy. “Are you okay, Maka?” pushing her dirty blond bangs away, I rested my forehead against hers. “You are warm. Are you sick?” Our noses touched, just as her face got warmer. “Maka, you are running a fever! I’m taking you to see the nurse!” before she could protest, I scooped her up in my arms, walking quickly down the steps and out of the class before Stein-sensei arrived.
•Kid’s Point of View•
“I don’t know about you, but I am a little apprehensive about this mission that Father is sending us on.” I spoke, looking down at Kipp. Even to this very day, I am surprised that her asymmetrical looks did not bother me as most would. Maybe it was from the fear of being attacked with that golf club strapped to her back.
She blinked her dark purple eyes a few times, looking at me questioningly. “Is it because your father forbade you from using Liz and Patty?” she asked.
I stilled, my body going ridged, blood draining quickly, before I fell backwards onto the black and white marbled floor. That is right. I would not be able to use my twin pistols during this mission, making me more of a piece of asymmetrical garbage. “Oh god… What am I to do?” I curled up into the fetal position, hugging my knees close to my chest.
“Kid, you look like a giant ‘O’ on the floor.” Kipp stated, poking me with the grip of her golf club.
“Is he at it again?”
“Sam, don’t be rude.”
“He really doesn’t pay attention in class, does he?”
“What are you talking about?” Kipp kept poking me in the ribs.
“You remember that demonstration that Stein had us do a few months ago, right?”
“Oh! That one! No. He was focused on making his name look symmetrical.”
“Are you fucking serious?! Idiot.” Sam scuffed. I peaked over my arm; seeing him stand over us with his arm crossed firmly over his chest. Kipp was crouched down next to my head, her golf club strapped to her back again, as her arms were wrapped around her knees.
“Cut him some slack, Sam. Even I am a little worried. I have to use twin pistols when I am used to using you in your Tekagi-shuko form.”
“I’m sorry. I should not have freaked out like I did.” I apologized, bowing my head.
“It is fine. Let us go see your dad, ‘kay?” I nodded, taking Kipp’s offered hand, and getting to my feet. Sam rolled his eyes at us, quickly leaving down the long hallway.
Oh my, oh my, oh my~ I finally updated after who knows how long~ Don't know if I'm proud or disappointed in myself over the outcome of this chapter... it's stupidly short. It sorta makes me wanna cry. But have no fear! I haven't forgotten this series. Currently I'm working on a collab fic called "Of Demons and Dreams" over on a shared account (Fanfiction.net account). It's an 'Ao no Exorcist' fic! Also, along side this one, some time in the near future, I'll be also posting a YuYu Hakusho fanfiction. So keep an eye on that ;)
Also, since chapter 16, I've got a great number of reviews (over on Fanfiction.net)! Thank you all so much. I love reading them ♥
