March 11~Aphrodite's Birthday
I watched as the masses all surround Pisces like lovesick puppies just to give my Master their gifts or gain his attention. I nearly gagged watching this, but being his pupil I had no choice in the matter until I yawned and Aphrodite just nodded at me. I pushed my way through the masses to no anvil until Apollo roared which got a clear path. I smiled at my Cretan wildcat and we both made a run for it. I went to my favorite spot.
Death Mask was there which didn't surprise at all. I would've kept walking further away from the Italian man if he hadn't spoken to me
"I see, you're feeling invisible again and I don't understand why you haven't told him yet?"
I just stared at him for a moment before answering him,
"People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, Death Mask. How long did it take you to admit to yourself you loved Scout. So don't preach to me about being scared besides why would Aphrodite give me the time of day? "
I turned to walk away when I heard him say,
"It's obvious you love him more than an older brother figure as you keep on insisting as you do. And if Aphrodite hasn't figured that out by now than he's a fucking idiot and he doesn't deserve someone as sweet and adorable as you."
I just smiled at him and I walked away when I heard him add,
"Come over for dinner tonight because Scout misses her little sister."
I just nodded my head.
Death Mask has changed a lot since meeting my older sister. At least that's my opinion on Death Mask. He isn't as scary as when I first met him because in my mind my sister was too good for him, but after seeing how happy Scout is and how much Death Mask changed with my sister's help. I guess I am foolish for having feelings for someone who hasn't noticed and I know Death Mask and my sister have been watching me and how much I am suffering. I guess this is why they call it a crush.
Sighs heavily.
I flopped on some grass and watched the clouds lazily as Apollo went fishing as any cat does. What the hell am I going to do with myself for the rest of the day because those lovesick puppies aren't going to leave any time soon? I just turned on my side and watched Apollo for a bit.
I must've fallen asleep because it was pouring rain and I just jumped up and ran back toward the Houses. I wasn't paying attention to where I running when I slid right into a gulch. Damn, I think I broke my arm so I did the only logical thing I could do.
"Apollo, seek!" and off he went.
The rain came down harder with thunder and lightning following. I started to panic when I heard people yelling my name and among those calling for me was my sister. I yelled for Apollo and my sister. Within minutes, I saw fourteen Gold Saints heads including my sister and Apollo looking at me.
Sighs.
I blushed darkly and I looked at my feet as Aphrodite and Death Mask climbed down to get me. Wordlessly, Aphrodite had me climb on his back while Death Mask nods at me with a gentle smile. The others had found rope more like my sister and her first aid kit. We were pulled out and Scout gave me a reproaching look. Aphrodite raced back to Pisces with the others. Aphrodite ran a warm bath as he placed me at the table while Scout and Mu tended my arm. I got scolded by everyone except Death Mask and Aphrodite.
Sighs.
My sister drew me into the bathroom with Apollo guarding the door. My sister scolded me so more and she knocked me over my head for being stupid and worrying everyone when I had sent Apollo back alone, although, she did later she was glad I did. I just let me my sister tend to me. And she helped me dress once she got me into my bedroom.
Sighs.
My sister dressed me in white jeans and a pink blouse with white sandals. We both came out of my room as I smelled pizza being made Scillian pizza and Italian beer. Death Mask just smiled as he saw us coming to join him and Aphrodite. I sat beside my Master and I sipped my beer which had my sister looking at me with an arched brow.
I chose to ignore that look because Death Mask was grinning at me. I started to squirm as the three of them were watching me as I finished off my second beer.
Hiccup, hiccup.
I started to giggle and I started to dance while Aphrodite just smiled at me because this is the first time he saw me this care-free in a long time. I hadn't noticed my sister and Death Mask had left me alone with Aphrodite.
Aphrodite decided to dance with me as he pulled me close and whispered in my ear,
"I'm sorry for making you feel invisible my sweet Solstice, but I will make it up to you somehow."
I covered his mouth with my hand and I whispered,
"I love you, Aphrodite!"
Aphrodite twirled me around and caught me in a soft kiss as he whispered,
"I know my princess."
Aphrodite took me out to a really nice restaurant in Sweden and it became known Aphrodite was no longer on the market. The masses wept into their pillows, but I can honestly say I am happy.
