AN: This is another SM story that is going to be twisted then again which one of stories isn't anyways. This story is about a completely different Serena, she isn't clumsy and she is anything but a ditz. She doesn't know Darien, and a tragedy has left her to change her ways, the story will slowly reveal what REALLY happened. Sorry it has to be this way but my word doc doesn't support special lettering and formatting so please cope with me.

"Next up we have Catsy with the ultramarine [AN: a silver-ish lilac color] satin faced taffeta A-line gown, scoop neckline with empire bodice" said Serena. "Next we have Nicolina she's in ruby iridescent shantung also A line gown with tie cord at waist buttons at the back" said Serena. "And we have both Mina and Avery. Mina is in a sun kissed (It's a sort of gold-ish orange) cashmere satin A-line strapless gown empire bodice, pleating at side. And Avery is in mango satin faced taffeta strapless A-line gown, natural waist, azalea cord tie." said Serena as Mina and Avery walked back. "Next up we have the Princess gowns and following will be the Bridal collection" said Serena and the lights flickers. "If it isn't Chiba" said Someone with a very deep manly voice. "Alan Seijuurouu Doom" said Darien [AN: thought I'd use Doom that since they don't have last names] "What brings you here?" asked Darien.

"Same thing as you and to see my sister" said Alan. "Where is Ann these days" said Darien. "She's on next I think" said Alan. "I see" sDariDarien. "So what did you think of the Miss. Tsukino?" asked Alan. "I haven't yet met Miss. Tsukino but I look forward to talking to her about her company, but the fashion show so far is great very well organized" said Darien. "Well, I for one wanna do more with Miss. Tsukino than talk businesses" said Alan with lust in his eyes. Darien looked away disgusted *How could he think of an 'old' lady like that?* thought Darien. The lights for the stage flicked on and again Serena appeared only now she was dressed in a cotton candy plaid taffeta strapless A-line gown, drop waist with cerise tie sash, tea length gown that flowed down to her knee enough to show her perfect legs, her neck had a thin gold chain. *She just gets hotter and hotter* thought Alan licking his lips.

"Welcome back Ladies and Gentleman" said Serena. "Next is the Princess collection followed by the Bridal collection" said Serena. "Here we have Ami in our seasonal special iced blue georgette cream lining strapless princess gown, neckline trimmed with roses" said Serena. "Next we have Lita in midori iridescent shantung strapless princess gown, julep colored trim at neckline, matching two-tone stole (scarf)" said Serena. "Prisma in Rio luminescent chiffon A-line gown, strapless empire bodice with patina satin trim, matching Rio luminescent chiffon stole (scarf)" said Serena. Darien was very impressed by the show it was very well organized and coordinated, the models were beautiful and wear colors and outfits that brought out there inner beauty, Miss. Tsukino is very talented and of course the beautiful host that was very resourceful was his thought through out the whole show.

After the show...

"Excuse me where can I find the models?" asked Darien. "Oh you must be Mr. Chiba, Miss. Tsukino is expecting you, follow me" said the young girl who must work for the company, she led Darien through beautifully designed halls in to the dressing room for the models. "This is the dressing room Miss. Tsukino will be here shortly" said the young girl. Darien mad a note that everything about the Tsukino building was beautiful and clean unlike some companies he's been too. "Hey Lita you got dinner right?" asked someone walking in to the dressing room. "Yeah if I don't eat something soon I'll just faint" said Rei following Lita holding bags filled with food. The group of girls walked in staring at the same handsome face they had seen at the restaurant.

"Can we help you with something?" asked Ami thoughtfu "Ye "Yes I'm Darien Chiba, I'm meeting with Miss. Tsukino for our meeting for the company" said Darien. "Oh she'll be right in I'm Ami Mizuno" said Ami extending a hand for Darien. "Nice to meet you" said Darien as he took Ami's hand and shook it feeling a vibe. The others smiled at him. "Ok enough of this I'm starving" said Mina grabbing on of the bags from Lita. "Mina! where is your manners" said Casty. "Listen I'm sorry, but when I'm hungry I have no manners" said Mina. "It's all right with me" said Darien. Darien turned to see someone walk through the big open doors. "Cathy I need you to send that file to CAMP she needs to process that information" said Serena on her cell phone as she walked over to the table with the food. "Who has my fries" said Serena while chewing on a sliced cucumber.

"Serena, Mr. Chiba is here" said Ami. "Cathy you do that for me and I'll call you back" said Serena hung up from her phone, Serena hadn't yet changed from her beautiful black lace over blush lining strapless sheath, natural waist with bow detail tea length gown that she changed to during the fashion show. Darien watched her put her phone on one of the vanity tables. "Hello Mr.Chiba, I am Serena Tsukino" said Serena extending her hand. Darien was shocked and taken back. The host of the show and the rude girl at the restaurant is really the owner of Tsukino Designs, but Darien didn't show his emotions, something usual. "It's a pleasure to meet you again Miss Tsukino" said Darien taking Serena's hand. As soon as their hands touched Darien and Serena both felt a jolt and Darien had a little flash back of his dreams, both pulled away their hands.

"Well, Mr. Chiba, I'm sorry but I didn't get a chance to get changed yet" said Serena slightly blushing. "It's no Problem" said Darien who was not minding the way she looked at all. "Well, should we proceed to my office or do you want to discuses it here" said Serena. "Let's go to your office" said Darien. "All right, Mina don't touch my fries" said Serena looking back before walking out with Darien. "I'm sorry about that" said Serena. "I know about hungry models" said Darien with a smile. Serena looked at him smiling and couldn't get the idea out of her head at how handsome he looked. When Serena and Darien got to Serena's office there was Alan and Ann Doom waiting there. "Well, if it isn't the lovely and beautiful Miss. Tsukino" said Alan as he took Serena's black lace gloved hand and kissed it.

"It's nice to see you too Mr. Doom, but what brings you here?" asked Serena. "Oh just dropped by to see my little sister and of course our meeting about the company" said Alan. Darien was disgusted by this piece of shit standing in front of him. "What meeting I wasn't informed about it" said Serena as her head turned to see Ann walk up to Darien. "Darien it has been way to long" said Ann as she wrapped her arms around Darien's neck. "Really has it?" said Darien as he took her hand off himself and think to himself *Not long enough*. "Mr. Doom you'll have to excuse me I have a meeting with Mr. Chiba" said Serena as she walked in to her office, and Darien followed. "I'm very sorry about the Dooms somehow they don't understand the meaning of 'NO' but let's discussed our business" said Serena. "Yes I know what you mean about them. But lest move on" said Darien as he opened his brief case and took out some papers.

"Miss Tsukino I'me yoe you know that your company has over rise all the fashion industries for both female and male, but today I'm here to offer you a partnership to my company where you control 50% of the company and I control the other half" said Darien. "I'm sorry Mr. Chiba but my feelings for this company is very strong I built it from scratch and sharing it with someone is something I not up to yet" said Serena. "I understand, but you should think of your models and your company when it's in finical need my company can help you out" said Darien giving Serena the rate papers. Serena observed the papers. "Mr. Chiba I understand but you must understand also that my company is very well in finical accounts, and if I do ever have finical problem my models, staffs, and I are very well covered with very good second jobs" said Serena. "You are a very smart woman Miss. Tsukino, I knew that you would be great for this job" said Darien with a smile. Serena looked at him. "What you say makes no sense, it's like your talking on the contrary" said Serena. Darien smiled. "Maybe Miss. Tsukino that is what I was going for" said Darien.

"I don't think I follow you Mr. Chiba, can you explain to me what you are talking about?" asked Serena. "I want you to help me with a scholarship fund, were planning to have a beauty pageant, and I want your sponsorship, with your talented models and fashion line is sure to rise at least $1,000,000 for the scholarship" said Darien. Serena took a minute to process what she just heard, "One question Mr. Chiba why did you ask me to be your partner if all you wanted was my sponsorship and not my company" said Serena. "I had to see if you had any intellect Miss. Tskino I know you are a great designer but I need to know if you can do more than just draw and make clothing, this scholarship fund is very important, it's not only scholarship but also charity I want your help to build a children's hospital" said Darien.

Serena sat at her seat and looked down at the papers then stood up and Darien followed her and also stood up. "Mr. Chiba you got your self a deal" said Serena extending her hand. "Thank you Miss Tsukino the pleasure is mine" said Darien taking Serena's hand. "Should we tell your Models?" asked Darien. "Yes, sure but not right await, I would appreciate it if you leave the papers for me to reread and not to make any plans until I confirm for sure" said Serena. "Yes Miss. Tsukino, as I had said before you are a very smart woman" said Darien with a smile, and Serena smiled back. "Thank you Mr. Chiba" said Serena. "Oh Mr. Chiba I am really sorry about the scene at the restaurant today I just kind of blew considering that was my favorite table" said Serena now blushing. Darien laughed out "Miss. Tsukino please call me Darien and its no problem, apology accepted" said Darien. "Please call me Serena" said Serena. The two smiled at each other...

At a near by park...

It was a beautiful night with clear midnight blue sky and sparkling stars, the trees seemed to be talking to each other with movement of their leaves, and the wind was warm yet cold. Tsukino Serena pulled her Coat closer to her body as she, walked into the little park near her apartment. Serena went and sat down in one of the white benches and sighed as she thought about the events of the day. *I know I'm doing something good helping Mr. Chiba. Right?* thought Serena. "What was that I feeling I felt when I shook his hand?" asked Serena out loud. "It felt as if...I knew him before, he seemed so familiar, his touch was familiar" said Serena with a closed eyes as she tried to remember the feeling. "Everything is so different in my life, sometimes I don't know who I am" said Serena. "I don't remember a lot of things that happened after the car crash, even though it wasn't a fair save" said Serena to no one is particular.

*I want to remember but the others or I can't seem to remember what really happened that day at the battle* thought Serena. *My life is like a big mess only a neat mess if that makes senses* thought Serena. *My family died and I survived it wasn't fair, they shouldn't have died, and I should have* thought Serena as tears stinged her eyes. *I'm tired of having people I care about risking their lives for me, first it was my real mother the queen and now the one I come to know and love, my family...I want it to stop!* thought Serena as she cried in her hands. Serena was tapped back to reality when she heard something. Serena jumped up and looked around the park, there wasn't anyone there, then Serena sat back down. "This is so weird, I wonder if Luna and Artemis picked up something" said Serena as she got up and headed towards her apartment drying her tears, not noticing the pair of glowing eyes that watched her leave.

At Serena's apartment...

"Welcome back Miss Tsukino" said the guard with a blush as Serena smiled back knowing that most of the staff at the building had a thing for her. "Thank you" said Serena. Serena opened the door to her apartment which was he the top floor of the building it was the only apartment up there and the biggest. The apartment was beautiful, the living room was a shade of cream with a white border, the couch was also a cream color, across from it was two over stuffed roll arm chair in the color of beige with beautiful flower designs in a darker color beige, in between the couches and the roll arm chairs was a glass coffee table with a gold platter that held white pillar candles in three different shapes and rose petals around it, the walls held beautiful tapestry like paintings painted right in to the walls of entrances of enchanted gardens and, etc., the ceiling held a beautiful chandelier that sparkled with the light it provided, around the room there was very elegant looking lamps every where needed.

The big windows were covered in a cream shantung panels with an empire valance sheer striped with rayon scalloped trim, next to the window was a white piano and there was roses every where. The room was just like a m, im, it was enchantingly beautiful. "Hey, Luna, Artemis, Hikari, I'm home" said Serena as she hanged her coat, and walked up to the couch. "Hi Serena" said Artemis. "What you up to?" asked Serena as she patted Artemis on the head. "I was just reading the paper" said Artemis. "Yes, we saw you on T.V, you were great" said Luna jumping on to Serena's lap. "Thanks Luna, where is Hikari?" asked Serena looking around. "Oh she's sleeping" said Luna. "That's great I think I'm gonna go to bed I'm just tired" said Serena getting up. "Serena is everything ok?" asked Artemis. "Yeah, why?" asked Serena with a questioning look. "You seem kind of sad lately" said Luna. "I'm fine guys don't worry" said Serena with a smile. "Serena were here if you ever want to talk" said Luna and Artemis nodded in agreement. "Thanks you guys, but I'm fine really" said Serena before getting up to go to her bedroom.

Mean While...

"Mr. Chiba how was your day?" asked a Woman about the age of probably 20 with maroon hair and dark red eyes. "Very good" said Darien. "Mr. Chiba is there anything you need me to do tonight" asked the woman with hope. "No thank you. I'm retiring early tonight, you may go home after your done" said Darien. "Yes, very well," said the woman disappointed. "Oh by the way Mr. Chiba, your grand father called, he said to call him as soon as you get home" said the woman. "Thanks Beryl" said Darien before closing the door to his rooariearien went in to the bathroom and stripped down from his clothing and entered the shower. *What was that jolt I felt when I touched her, I saw a little of my dream, the mysterious girl* thought Darien as the warm water ran down his back. "I can't believe that I thought she was an old lady" said Darien smiling. *Doom wants her, and that can't be good* thought Darien as a weird feeling striked inside of him. *Am I jealous, that Doom wants her* thought Darien. "She brought some humor back to my life" said Darien as he turned of the show and grabbed a towel. "This is crazy I just met her" said Darien. "What's going on with me" said Darien as he walked back to his bedroom and picked up the phone.

"Darien is about time you called me" said a deep but joyful voice over the phone. "Sorry, I didn't call you early grand pa, but just got the message" said Darien. "Well, it's all right, listen I called to tell you that I'll help with this scholarship thing that you have going on I might as well do some good before I die" said the old man. "Grand pa you've done a lot of good things and who said your dying any time soon?" asked Darien. "Darien, there are some important matter I need to discuss with you" said the old man seriously. "Yes," said Darien. "I'll tell you when you come for the ball tomorrow, and I'm not taking a no for an answer" said the old man again with a joyful tone. "But, I have a lot of work I need to get done" said Darien. "This Ball is on behalf of the charity fund, so I'm doing on your behalf" said the old man. "All right in that case very well" said Darien. "Oh bring a date, wouldn't want my grandson to be alone now" said the old man. "I not seeing anyone at the moment" said Darien as a picture of Serena popped in to his head.

"That's even better maybe I can introduce you to some of the ladies there" said the old man laughing. Darien chuckled at his grand father. "What ever makes you happy" said Darien. "So I'll see you tomorrow night" said the old man. "Yes, I will be there" said Darien. "Well, good night then" said the old man. "Good night grand pa" said Darien before hanging up. "Great another stupid ball, you think he enjoys seeing me miserable" said Darien lying on his bed. *Why don't you ask Serena to go with you* said a voice in the back of Darien's head. "What?" said Darien. *After all she is part of the charity and she should be there* said the voice. "That's not a bad idea" said Darien. *Other than that you want to see her* said the voice. "Huh? No, I don't" said Darien. *Just call her and tell her about, she won't turn you down* said the voice. Darien thought it over and picked up the phone again and dialed Serena's home phone number. "Hello" said a soft feminine voice. "Miss Tuskinaskeasked Darien mentally slapping himself forever calling her. "Yes, Speaking" said Serena. "It's me Darien" said Darien. "Oh, hello Mr.Chiba" said Serena. "Please call me Darien" said Darien. "Very well, but you'll also have to call me Serena then" said Serena.

Darien smiled. "I wanted to call and ask you if you like to accompany me to my grand fathers ball tomorrow night, it's for the charity fund, you are a Sponsor so you should be there" said Darien. A little pause. "I would love to, and it was very nice of you to think of me" said Serena. "No thank you, and it's no problem, I'll pick you up at 5:30 it's a bit of a drive to my grand fathers" said Darien. "All right no problem. Then I will see you tomorrow evening. Good night Darien" said Serena. Darien had to smile at the way his name sounded from her lips. "Yes, good night Serena" said Darien and hung up. Darien had to smile she was very beautiful and somehow after meeting her, he couldn't get her out of his mind. The last thing that was in Darien's head was the beautiful Serena. Beryl sat in the kitchen listing in the conversation between Darien his grand father, and Serena, she was so sure that he was going to ask her, but instead he called some other bitch and was taking her, she sounded weak, and stupid. *I'll get that bitch away from my Darien* thought Beryl. *Darien will be mine* thought Beryl with balled fist.

Back At Serena's House...

Luna saw how cheerful Serena sounded over the phone, and noticed that she blushed almost ever second. "Serena who was that?" asked Luna sitting on Serena's Queen size bed. "Oh that was a client, I'm helping to sponsor this chairty/sholarship fund" said Serena. "Well, he must be something special for you blush like that" said Luna. Serena turned red. "Why would you say that?" asked Serena. Luna with smiled at Serena. "Mr. Chiba-I mean Darien and I are just doing together for the charity" said Serena. Something hit Luna in the head *Darien Chiba?* thought Luna. "Good night everyone" said Serena falling asleep. Luna noticed that Serena was smiling, it's been a while since Luna saw Serena smile that way.

*It must be him...* thought Luna as she strolled of to Artemis. "Artemis, I think something is going to happen, I mean good and bad" said Luna cuddling closer to him. "What you mean?" asked Artemis. "I mean Serena and Darien just met" said Luna. "What? Darien? Does he know or their just..." said Artemis. "I think they are just beginning to feel for each other, soon their memories will come back, and I want that but I don't want Serena to get hurt" said Luna. "Why would she get hurt?" asked Artemis. "Artemis you know as well as I do there is something happening, something evil will take place, Serena built a great life for herself" said Luna. "I see, I don't want her to get hurt either, but destiny has something different plan for those girls, Serena and Darien" said Artemis. Luna nodded as she slowly closed her eyes to sleep. *I just Hope this time destiny doesn't leave her broken hearted again* thought Artemis before joining Luna in a dreamless slumber.

The Next Morning...

Serena got up to find the smell of breakfast, and she smiled. "Lita you didn't have to make breakfast" said Serena as she tied her robe. "Who said she was just making it for you?" asked Rei who was sitting on the over stuffed roll armchair. "Yeah, we all need our energy if were going to go shopping" said Mina taking some pancakes from Catsy. "Sit eat get ready we have a lot of shopping to do" said Bride. Serena nodded as she took a plate. "How about we go and watch a movie tonight" said Ami looking up from her book. "Oh, I can't, I have to go to this charity ball with Mr. Chiba" said Serena. Rei smiled. "Oh really? what else do you have to do with Mr. Chiba?" asked Rei. Serena just looked at them confused. "Wow Serena you scored more points then all of us, you got asked out in the same day of meeting" said Mina, and every body started laughing. "Hahah very funny, it's not a date, it's because of the sponsorship that I said that I would do to rise money to make a children's hospital and a scholarship fund" said Serena. "I'd say it was a little bit more considering that when he called last night, you were blushing all through the conversation" said Luna chewing on a pancake. Serena send a death glare at Luna. "That's really nice of you" said Ami. "Yeah, and you guys are helping, it's not me that he wants, it's my talented models that he needs" said Serena quoting Darien.

"All right so what you gonna wear for this special charity thing" asked Mina. Serena shrugged don't know. "Come on Serena you know that you need a nice dress" whined Mina. "Relax I'll just pick a gown from the new one I made" said Serena. "Let's go were getting you new shoes and new everything" said Mina. Serena had to sweat drop ^_^' at how stupid her friends were acting, well it was really Mina. "Mina your gonna take me to the mall in my pjs" asked Serena. "Well, then get dressed already" said Mina. Serena just smiled and shook her head as she headed towards her bedroom. Serena put on a pink bateau neckline dress and matching shoes, Serena tied her hair in to bun, she really didn't wear her hair like she use to, because she thought that was with the past and it made her look young and immature, she grabbed her beige jacket. "All right I'm done" said Serena. "Great! let's go" said Mina as she pushed Serena out the door, followed by everyone else. "Today is going to interesting" said Rei. "You bet" said Ami still looking through her book.

At The Mall...

Serena had always gone shopping with her friends on the weekends but for some reason she felt different she felt excited. "Serena come on!" yelled Mina as she pushed Ami in to another store. Serena smiled as she walked forward. "Mr. Chiba can we please stop by the mall I must pick up something for the ball tonight" said Beryl. "Alright but hurry, we still have other places to go" said Darien. "Yes" she said before stepping out of the car. Darien looked around it's been a while since he went to a mall, he had to laugh at the thought of his teenage years when girls use to pull him there all the time, but now he hardly had time to go down to eat. *Life just piles more crap on you everyday* he thought. Serena turned the corner, this was the fourth mall they went to today. Darien heard the name of one of the models that worked for Serena and looked to see if it was she. "Mina can we please go and eat? Some of us are all tired out you know" whined Catsy. "No come on we'll go to this store, it has the most cutes things ever" said Mina. "Your definition of cute is something that shows to much skin" said Rei. "Come on you guys, I don't dress like that" said Mina. "Ok if you say so" said Avery. "What about you Serena do you think that about me?" asked Mina with puppy dog eyes. "I...umm...I'm gonna go get a...um...a ice cream from the corner store right there" said Serena and ran. "Serena I'll get you for that one" said Mina with fake tears. Serena slowed down tried to catch her breath, she heard chuckling behind her. She turned to find Darien standing against a black BMW.

Serena smiled "Mr. Chiba?" she asked as if to reassure she wasn't seeing things from running in such a high speed. "I thought we're at first name bases" he said. Serena blushed "I forgot, sorry..." she said looking down at her hands. "So you ditched your friend there?" asked Darien. "I wanted to get ice cream" she said. "You wanted to get ice cream on a day like this?" asked Darien. It was cool with the autumn wind blowing the sun was out but it was still cold. "It doesn't bother me, some things are meant for cold days for some people" said Serena. Darien had a feeling that what she had said had a deeper meaning, but at the moment he wasn't going to concern himself with that. "So how about you let a friend by you an ice cream?" he asked. "I would like it if the friend joined me, but I'm sure it should be my turn to treat" she said. Darien smiled and followed after her in to the small ice cream parlor. "What can I get for you?" asked Clark looking down. "I would like one scope of mint chocolate, and two scopes of chocolate in a cup please" said Serena. "And what about you..." the Clarks eyes got big as she look in the two people standing in front of her. "Oh my god! Your like Serena Tuskino and your like the hottie Darien Chiba" said the girl. Serena smiled and looked up at Darien who seemed kind of freaked out. "OMG!OMG! I can't believe it can I get your autographs?" she asked grabbing a napkin and a pen.

"Umm...sure" said Darien. "And what about you Miss Tsukino?" asked the girl. "Sure, why not" said Serena taking the pen front Darien and signing her name afterwards. "Alright now that I got that out of system what would you like sir?" she asked. Darien smiled "I would like one scope of chocolate" he said. "Alright coming right up" said the girl as she picked up two cups and started to put the ice cream in. "I guess your use to people hitting you in the streets?" asked Darien. Serena laughed "Barely, I don't think people know me" she said. Darien smiled. "Well what about you? Are you all busy with work or do you take time out and enjoy life" asked Serena. "I think I will be more often" said Darien. Serena smiled. "Here you go" said the girl. "Thank you" said Serena and Darien nodded. "Do you have to work today?" asked Darien. "Actually no today is day off, I was out shopping with my friends" said Serena. "Well that is something I don't do often" said Darien. "You should it's very healthy" said Serena. Darien laughed out and soon Serena joined him. "Your a strange woman" said Serena. "Really how so?" asked Serena. "That is what I haven't figured out yet" said Darien. "When you do please tell me" said Serena. "I will" said Darien. Beryl across the street watched the laughing couple as a new hate burned with in her. A hate that could kill...

AN: This was short and took a LONG time to come up with but now I know where I am going with this story so I will have chapter two up next week. it's almost the end of the year and I have to take a lot of test and start studying to get in to college, you know the usual crap that you have to do in life.
