AN: Here it is, the original, recovered chapter two. I thank Hikari for sending this to me. I decided to keep it the same since I don\'t want to alter it even though I rewrote most of it. I like this better than the half-hearted stuff I wrote. It\'s kind of hard to rewrite a fic when you know it won\'t be as good as the original... plus I was really upset that the fic was deleted in the first place. I just received chapter four in my e-mail, now all I need is chapter three. I\'ll keep posting messages on fanfiction.net until I get replies. I\'m sure someone has it. If they do, I won\'t need to rewrite it, and I can post it along with chapter four then continue from where I left off. Oh yeah, although I give credit to Chibi-Chan, I just want you all to know that I wrote 99.99% of this fic. Fractured Reality
Chapter Two~ Wet and Wild
By Otaku-Chan ^_~ and Chibi-Chan ^.^
Kite slowly drifted out of his peaceful slumber, letting reality sink into his groggy mind. He yawned and stretched all at once before realizing he was naked. He looked down, noticing his clothing strewn all about, as well a small item on top of his hat. It was a tiny bundle of aromatic grass with a note attached...
\'Arigatou, koibito ^_^\'
Love,
Elk
Kite smiled gently as he picked up the grass and note, then he proceeded to get dressed. He hoped that no one else had been in that field to see him.... but since he was asleep, he didn\'t deny it was a possibility.
\"I wonder what time it is?\" he asked himself as he gated out and entered the root town to save his... experience... *cough*
Kite then logged out. He removed his visor and yawned again, feeling very tired from his earlier activities. The clock on the computer read 6:54 AM. He felt a distinct pain in his neck from sleeping in the wrong position for too long, and he noticed his boxers were soiled. A trip to the bathroom was definitely his first priority. Once he was in, he stripped down and turned on the shower. The cool water trickled down his sweaty skin, cleansing him and making him feel more awake. Thoughts of Elk ran through his mind and he wondered how things would change from that point on. What would the others think if they found out? Especially Mia.
Mia... Elk always seemed so obsessed over the feline player. When they first met, Elk only seemed to care about her, paying him no mind. In every town, the wavemaster would constantly be searching for items Mia would like, or be busy stocking up on aromatic grass. Kite never understood what it was that Elk held so dear about Mia, and he wasn\'t inclined to ask... but... does Elk still feel the same about her now? Was their moment of passion together just that? Nothing more than lust and hormones? Perhaps he was just a substitute for Mia.
The more he thought about it, the more confused he felt. Elk didn\'t seem like the kind of person who would cheat and use others for his own pleasure. The shy wavemaster seemed to be sincere... after all, Elk did start the whole thing. Kite then touched his lips, remembering his first kiss from the wavemaster.
\"Hmmph... and he thought I was unconscious,\" Kite said to himself as he proceeded to cleanse himself. He took a soft sponge and poured some vanilla scented shower gel onto it, fully enjoying the feel of the substance as he lathered up. His mind began to wander and he soon realized that his body felt different from usual. His skin felt more sensitive, and each caress with the sponge made him think more and more of those crimson eyes... that moonlight blue hair... the kisses, caresses, and moans of pleasure. The next thing he knew, the sponge was on the floor of the shower and his back was against the cool tile wall. His eyes closed and he focused on nothing more than fee feeling of his own fingers across his newly heated flesh. He imagined that it was Elk, tracing tiny, tentative paths down his chest, to his stomach... lower, and lower, with gentle finger tips.
\"Nnnhh...\" Kite sighed as he stroked his length, bringing it to life. His warm fingers wrapped around it and he began a slow rhythm, gradually building in pace. His breaths became erratic as he pumped harder and harder, causing his hips to involuntarily move in speedy thrusts. The water from the shower heightened his sensitivity as the droplets pounded onto his skin, mixing the sensations of hot and cold. Soon he felt the familiar spasm of total ecstasy, and felt himself close to the edge. As he released, he moaned his lover\'s name.
Kite\'s azure eyes shot open and he was panting heavily. He quickly rinsed off then got out of the shower, wrapping his favorite towel around his waist. He had to log into `The World.\' He had to see if Elk was on, or at least do something. He felt so restless and almost anxious, knowing that Elk truly wanted him. He remembered the wavemaster\'s last words before they both drifted off into a blissful sleep... \"Ne... will this be the last time?\"
Fifteen minutes later...
Kite looked around the delta server, then theta, and finally, lambda. There was no sign of Elk. He shook his head, suddenly feeling stupid. Of course Elk wasn\'t on! It was still really early in the morning. He was probably asleep, tired from his cybering experience. Kite grinned at the thought. Why wasn\'t he going back to bed? Sleep wasn\'t a bad idea, but he felt too giddy to catch up on his z\'s. \"What should I do?\" he asked himself, gazing out at the glimmering city that lay before him. Carmina Gadelica certainly was a dreamy place. Then, a voice snapped Kite out of his reverie.
\"Yo, what are you doing on so early?\"
\"Eh?\" Kite asked, turning around abruptly to face Blackros‚. \"I... ah... was just...\" he couldn\'t think of a good excuse, knowing that his only intention was to see Elk again.
\"Well?\" she said, putting her hands on her hips and tapping her right foot impatiently. \"Looking for more clues about `The Epitaph of Twilight\' or about Aura? If that\'s the case, what should we do next?\"
\"Ano... I just came online to hang out, I guess.\" he knew it was a weak reply, but it was better than telling her the truth. If she found out, she\'d probably be freaked out. A guy with another guy was not exactly considered \"proper\" in society, let alone online.
\"Okay... Then, how about we go somewhere to just `hang out.\' I guess we deserve to have a bit of fun once in awhile. After all, this IS just a game... even if it has some majorly big problems with viruses, hackers, putting people into comas, freaky data bugs, etc.!\" she laughed, grabbing hold of Kite\'s hand and pulling him with her towards the chaos gate.
\"Heh, yeah, sometimes this game makes me wonder if I\'m high,\" Kite laughed as they warped to a field with no battle portals in a peaceful forest area.
The two scouted out a place to sit, finding refuge next to a spring of myst that had been activated long ago. The sunlight gleamed through the canopy of trees, reflecting and refracting across the crystal clear water. Kite looked into it, amused at the realisticness of the graphics as his reflection rippled in the liquid when a cool breeze blew.
\"Kite, can I ask you something?\" Blackros‚ started, getting the twin blade\'s full attention.
\"Yes? What is it?\"
\"It\'s just... well, I was wondering how come you never call me to your party anymore. I send you e-mails that say I\'m almost always around, yet you never try to contact me.\"
Kite gulped hard as he felt a lump form in his throat. Lately, he played with Elk more than anybody, and on occasion, he had someone else join them, like Moonstone, or Sanjaro. But it was true. He only went with Blackrose if there was an important mission. And on each of those occasions, she had insisted they go together. He rarely called on her just to play the game.
\"Also, I\'ve seen you around more and more lately... and every time, you\'re with Elk. Has Elk replaced me altogether? I thought we were getting to be good friends, but I guess I was wrong...\"
\"Blackrose... I-it\'s not like that!\"
\"Then what is it like?\" she asked in a hurt tone. \"Am I too weak to play with you, or do you just not like me? What\'s so special about Elk?\"
Kite suddenly found himself getting frustrated with the argument at hand. It became apparent to him that Blackrose was jealous of Elk, but why? The two of them were equally as skilled when it came to battles and all. Both of them were valuable members to his party, only he preferred the wavemaster for obvious reasons. One being that he loved him, another being that Elk was more pleasant to be around.
Then, without warniBlacBlackrose stood up and turned away from Kite, hands folded in front of her chest. \"There\'s something going on between you two, isn\'t there?\"
\"No there isn\'t! We\'re a just friend, that\'s all!\" Kite shouted, suddenly afraid that Blackros‚ may have come to the conclusion that he was in fact in a relationship with the wavemaster.
\"Then prove it to me!\" she yelled as she turned around, quickly grabbing Kite and pulling the startled twin blade toward herself. \"Kiss me.\"
\"B-Blackrose... why are you doing this? Wh...\"
Before Kite could finish his question, Blackros‚ crushed her lips onto his, her arms snaking their way around his neck. Kite\'s eyes were open wide and he noticed a tear sliding down her tanned cheek. His heart suddenly sank. Blackrose wasn\'t jealous of Elk because he was better than her... she was jealous because Elk had Kite\'s love. Then, as quickly as it started, the kiss was broken. Blackrose had a blush on her cheeks and she quickly apologized to an equally embarrassed Kite.
\"I saw you with Elk... last night.\"
Kite suddenly felt a knot in his stomach... she saw?! Everything???
\"I had just finished buying some artisan\'s souls and stuff when I saw you two on the bench in each other\'s arms. At that moment, it all made sense to me. Heh. I guess it\'s too late to tell you that I have a crush on you... it wasn\'t meant to be.\"
\"Blackrose...\" Kite began, not sure of what to say, but he did feel relieved to know that that was all she saw between Elk and himself.
\"I was hoping we could meet each other in the real world, but that\'s just stupid and selfish of me. I shouldn\'t interfere with your life. I have to go... there\'s someone I need to visit this morning. I-I guess I\'ll see you around... sorry, Kite,\" she said with a sad smile.
Kite then grabbed her hand before she could walk away or log out. \"Wait!\"
\"Hm?\" she said, turning to gaze into his deep aqua eyes.
\"We\'re still friends, right?\" She slowly nodded.
\"Of course. I hope everything works out between you and Elk. Heh, who would of thought? I always thought Elk was in love with Mia.\"
\"Please don\'t tell anyone about the two of us, okay? It\'s better if nobody else knows,\" Kite quickly added, wanting it to be clear to Blackros‚ that this issue was a private matter. \"And I\'m sorry for everything... next time, let\'s play together more often, ne?\" Again, she nodded, then logged out without another word. Kite felt a bit guilty that he hurt her feelings, but what could he do? He never knew she liked him as more than a friend to begin with! Oh well. At least she was clear on the fact that he was taken.
\"Well, I guess I may as well log out too. Perhaps I should e-mail Elk and see what\'s what.\"
Then the azure haired boy vanished from `The World,\' suddenly thrust back into reality. He opened his e-mail and began composing a message to the wavemaster. It was short and simple: \"Hey Elk... I haven\'t seen you in `The World\' lately. Um, I\'m almost always on, so if you ever wanna hang out... I\'ll be around. E-mail me sometime soon, O.K.? JA ne!
Thinking of you,
Kite
Kite then clicked the `send\' button and gave a heavy sigh. Why wasn\'t Elk on? Did something happen to him in the real world? His eyes opened wide as he mumbled to himself, \"It can\'t be...\" Could Elk have run into that creature? Could he be another coma victim? Kite shook his head. \"No, no, no! I\'m just being paranoid. He does have a life, so he\'s probably spending time doing other things... not everyone is a loser like me who does nothing but play games...\" He knew he was being harsh on himself, but recently his father had scolded him for \"wasting precious time\" playing games. His grades in school were proof of that.
\"DamnI guI guess I\'d better do my homework,\" he said begrudgingly.
Three days later...
Kite stood by the chaos gate in the Ariel City, Fort Ouph. It was the first time he\'d ever been there and he was amazed at how much larger the Sigma server was from the other three. It was literally a city in the air, and the stone bridges connecting each section were long and vast, stretching out into the misty air. He slowly crossed the first cobblestone path that lay before him. \"Aha. So that\'s where the save point is,\" he said to himself as he continued to explore. It was a good past time to take his mind off of his one desire; Elk. He was seriously worried at this point because the crimson eyed wavemaster hadn\'t been on in over four days now, and he received no e-mail. Kite then forgot about his new surroundings as he wandered, deep in thought. Before he even knew where he was going, he suddenly ran into something... or someone.
\"Hey, watch where you\'re... Kite?!\"
\"G-Gomen! Ah... \" Kite stammered as he then opened his eyes to take in the form of his feline friend, Mia.
\"Long time no see,\" she smirked, placing her hands... err... paws on her hips.
\"Ano, have you seen Elk at all?\" Kite asked, not caring if Mia would be suspicious or not.
\"He\'s been away on a trip. It was on short notice, and I\'m the only one he told so far. He should be back sometime today. Why are you looking for him? Hmmmm?\" she asked, curious as was in her nature.
\"I-I just wanted to make sure he\'s all right. I mean... strange things are happening in the game and I\'m sure you\'ve seen the news... people all over Japan are ending up just like Yasuhiko. Elk\'s usually on, so I figured maybe...\"
\"Heh, heh. It\'s funny to see you so concerned for little Elk. You two have been playing together a lot lately, ne?\"
\"E-Eto, sou desu ne...\"
\"And Elk had the cutest embarrassed lookhis his face when I asked him what he\'d been up to over the past month. He said, \'Just leveling up with Kite.\' Usually he plays the game with me, but... I haven\'t been feeling well recently, so I\'m rarely online,\" she said with a sigh. \"Perhaps Elk has grown closer to you since I don\'t spend as much time with him anymore. I feel bad about it, demo...\"
\"Elk thinks of you all the time Mia. Most of the time when we\'re in a field, we search for aromatic grass, or grunty food.\" Kite tried to make the conversation be as innocent as possible, trying to avoid giving away any hints of what he and Elk did. He felt a slight pang of guilt though. Has he caused Elk and Mia\'s friendship to deteriorate? No. He doubted that.
\"Eh? Is that so? Well, I\'m kinda t, so, so I think I\'ll log out. See ya around,\" Mia purred as she disappeared from the game.
\"That was odd,\" Kite thought. Mia was acting strange. Usually she\'d stick around and play with him for a bit, all excited about seeing him use data drain and further demonstrate the power of the bracelet. Kite sighed and decided that it wasn\'t important. Mia probably had a cold or something in the real world. Kite then gave another heavy sigh. There wasn\'t anything for him to do in the game. There weren\'t any new missions from Lios, no news from Blackros‚, or even side quests to do. He\'d already beaten all the goblins that have challenged him so far, and none of his other friends seemed to need him for anything. \"Maybe I should just get off-line and take a walk... It\'s no fun here without Elk,\" Kite groaned.
He slowly made his way back to the chaos gate, when suddenly the familiar figure of the wavemaster appeared before him in a sparkling array of golden light.
\"Kite-Kun!\"
\"Elk-Kun!!!\"
The two spontaneously shouted each other\'s names as they ran towards each other, tightly embracing. They kissed each other briefly on the lips before parting to avoid creating a scene if anyone happened to pass by.
\"I\'m so sorry I haven\'t been on... I was away on a trip with my family and I don\'t have a lap top... so...\"
\"It\'s okay. I\'m just glad to finally see you again. I was so worried that something bad may have happened. I just saw Mia and she told me you were coming back today. I\'m so happy ^_^,\" Kite grinned at his companion.
\"Ne, Kite-Kun, let\'s go someplace away from all these people,\" Elk smiled sweetly, grabbing a hold of the other boy\'s wrist. Kite nodded and the two stood at the chaos gate, ready to type in a combination of keywords. \"Lambda server: Beautiful Passionate Virgin\" (lol)
\"It\'s a thunder world... level 69. We\'re gonna get all wet since it\'s raining!\" Kite remarked, however Elk just smiled mischievously.
\"Come on!\" Elk said enthusiastically, pulling a confused twin blade along with him. The two boys ran through the field, avoiding all battle portals until finally they reached the spring of myst.
\"Eh? You have something to throw in?\" Kite asked, curious as to what Elk was thinking.
\"Yeah,\" Elk replied as he threw in a rare item. \"I need to collect golden and silver axes to trade with somebody in Dun Loireag. But, that\'s not the only reason...\"
Kite\'s eyes widened. What was he planning? He was piqued with curiosity and he felt a strange excitement at the wavemaster\'s words. Then, Elk threw the weapon into the spring, revealing a level 4 Grandpa. When it asked him if he lost a silver or golden axe, the boy replied `neither\' only to have the red water droplet-like creature gives him back his weapon as well as a golden and silver axe. Then it flew upwards, disappearing into the overcast sky. Elk then smiled as he turned toward Kite. The twin blade didn\'t even have time to speak another sentence as Elk quickly closed the gap between them, wrapping his arms around the blue haired boy\'s neck and placing a feverish kiss hotly upon his lips.
\"Mmm...\" was all Kite could mumble as the other boy devoured his mouth. His tongue was suddenly dancing in a duel for dominance and his eyes closed tightly, letting him focus on the immense pleasure he began to feel. The two were soaked through from the heavy rain, but neither seemed to care. The cool damp clothing was a sweet contrast from their heated flesh.
k\'sk\'s daring hands began undoing Kite\'s buttoned vest, deftly peeling off the wet clothing. The two broke the kiss so Kite could remove the rest of his shirt, gloves, and hat. The wet material fell to the ground and Kite\'s eyes fell lovingly on Elk. He had missed the wavemaster more than he realized. His body instantly reacted just by the mere sight of him. Seeing Elk\'s wet robes clinging tightly to his well built frame sent waves of pleasure through Kite\'s body, and heat pooled into his loins. His pants suddenly seemed tighter...
\"Elk...\" Kite moaned as the boy began placing butterfly kissed along his collar bone, up his jaw, flicking his tongue off his ear, then moving back to claim his lips. At the same time, Kite was removing Elk\'s clothing as best as he could.
When the kiss was broken again, the wavemaster\'s robes were pulled off and thrown to the ground. Kite had removed his pants, as did Elk, and the two stood before each other as natural as they were born. For that moment, they both seemed to be in a trance. Their eyes drank in the sight, memorizing every dip, every curve, every angle. In the game, their bodies were flawless and beautiful. Kite wondered if Elk looked as good in the real world...
Then, snapping Kite out of his delicious thoughts, Elk suddenly gave a wry grin and leapt into the spring of myst.
\"Ha, ha! Come on in Kite-Kun, the water\'s great!\" Elk shouted as he splashed his lover playfully. Kite giggled, suddenly realizing what it was that Elk had planned all along.
\"Clever, aren\'t you?\" Kite grinned as he then jumped in after the wavemaster. The two tussled and splashed each other playfully until they were both weak from laughter. Then, once recovered, Elk waded over to Kite, pushing firmly up against him until their flesh was completely in contact. Kite could feel his pulsing arousal rubbing against his own and he was afraid he\'d lose all control.
Elk began another erotic kiss with Kite as his hands worked their way down and around the twin blade\'s back, eventually cupping his firm ass and caressing him. Kite was surprised that Elk was so daring this time, and he moaned as his crimson eyed lover began to move his hips, causing a wonderful friction between their hot lengths.
As Elk pushed Kite up against the edge of the spring, the twin blade couldn\'t help but spread his legs and arch his hips upward, further bumping Elk. The wavemaster moaned as he slid his hips lower on Kite\'s body until the tip of his erection was pressing against Kite\'s tight entrance. The azure eyes of the twin blade closed as he knew that Elk wanted to give him the same kind of pleasure he had received last time. Slowly, and carefully, Elk pushed himself into Kite, not wanting the boy to feel too much discomfort. He rocked his hips, deeply embedding himself within his lover. Kite\'s hands were entangled in the wavemaster\'s hair as he growled with feral delight at the new sensation.
\"Elk... ah!\" Kite mewed as Elk began to move at an agonizingly slow pace. Both of them felt like they were on fire and their heart beats began to speed up. Kite felt as though all the blood had left his head and there was nothing but the feeling of ecstasy growing within him.
At that moment, Elk took Kite\'s length into his hand and began to stroke it from the shaft to the hilt, causing the twin blade to buck his hips even haras has he came close to his limit. The rain continued to pour down from the sky, pelting the highly sensitive skin of the two lovers. Everything was pure bliss to the two as they made love.
\"Oooohhh.... Kite...Kun...\"
Suddenly, Kite felt a strange spasm within his nether regions that shot white hot flames up his spine and through his throbbing hardness. All the muscles in his body tensed up as he was racked with pleasure. He moaned loudly as his release came in one violent burst, covering Elk in his seed. However, the rain quickly washed it into the spring, giving the water a cloudy tint. Elk came soon after, releasing himself inside of Kite as he pushed himself in as deep as he could go.
The two boys were panting heavily as they hugged each other tightly, still connected in the most intimate way. Kite claimed Elk\'s lips with a deep kiss as thanks for the incredible ride.
\"Mmmmmm... ne, where do you live, Kite-Kun?\" Elk asked in a sultry voice as he ended the luscious kiss.
\"Osaka...\" the twin blade replied, now curious as to know what Elk was getting at. The wavemaster\'s face lit up with excitement.
\"Hontou ni desuka? I live there too!\"
Kite\'s eyes opened wide as a smile worked its way into his features. They both knew what they were thinking.
\"We have to meet in real life Kite... e-mail me directions to your place, and I\'ll send you mine,\" Elk beamed. Kite nodded happily as he hugged the boy closer.
\"I can\'t wait!\"
They shared yet another kiss when suddenly a loud clap of thunder and a growl snapped them out of their bliss. Both turned their horrified gazes to see a huge data bug stomping towards them, when suddenly, a shiny figure appeared in front of it.
\"Oh my God... is that...?\"
Elk caught a glimpse of the man who was fighting the monster as he softly stated, \"Balmung.\"
To Be Continued...
