The Path To The Park.

After thinking about it for a quite some time, Hikaru decided to take the path to his right. He took a few deep breath and strolls down toward the rather empty road. “I hope I still can find him in that park…. Then again, the police must have swept trough the entire park…. No… they must have missed something” Hikaru remembered something in one of his favorite manga titled Detective Conan. Little did he know, Hikaru would find something that he would never think existed.

It took him an hour to reach the park. “This really looked like a crime scene in a movie” Hikaru thought as he took a brief look at the park. Yellow police ribbons indicating that a crime happened on that place were still there. However, no one was there, not even police.

Slowly, Hikaru approached the police line. His heart pounded rapidly as he looked around to see if there was someone watching him. After making sure it was safe, he ducked under the ribbon and crossed the line. He was inside the crime scene now.

After about fifteen minutes, Hikaru reached the center of the park where there was a big tree standing. By looking at its size, the tree was probably more than five hundreds years old as it was so big, probably even bigger than a family sized car. Next to that tree was some discarded articles. Those articles were piled up and circled by white marker. Carefully, Hikaru approached the pile of arti. He. He found a wallet and picked it up. “T… Touya… Akira….”. Those words escaped his lips softly as he flipped the wallet open to check any form of ID in it. His fear confirmed, Touya was not lost or upset. Something must have happened to his rival and friend.

[Hisss….]

“Huh ?... What was that ?” Hikaru quickly turned around as he heard a low hissing noise.

[Crack…. Rattles.. Hisss…]

“O..okay, this is getting scary…” Hikaru gulped and put Touya’s wallet inside his pocket. ly hly he backed away from the spot he was on.

[HISSS !!!]

“I hate snakes !” Hikaru turned around on his heel and picked his pace. Snake was not the only reason why he left the place. He feared that somebody else was there and getting caught nosing around a crime scene was not a smart thing to do as he could be blamed on what happened.

Hikaru was about to run for it when something trips his feet. “Itai !!” He yelled as he fell down face first into the grassy ground. “Okay.. maybe this isn’t my day at all” Hikaru growled and tried to pull himself up. However, to his surprise, his foot was not tripped. A vine had decided to coil around one of his leg. “What the ?” Hikaru blinked as he saw the thing around his leg. He tried to remove it. But that vine was just persistent. Breaking it would also a foolish thing to do as it was too thick, he would need a machete to cut it away.

“This is getting freaky…” Hikaru tugged against the vine without any effect. He looked around, wondering if there was something that could help him escape from that tangling vine. To his surprise, or shock, another vine whipped toward him and tangled his other leg, “This isn’t good…” Hikaru begin to panic and scrambled away from the spot with his hands as his legs were immobilized. “What the ?” He blinked as he realized that he was pulled by the vines.

Those vines pulled him toward the big tree he saw earlier. Few more living vines sprouted from the tree.

“Kami-sama !” Hikaru gasped at the monstrosity that took place in front of him. His arms flailed around to prevent him from getting pulled farther. Hikaru flipped himself into his stomach and tried to get away by digging his hands into the ground. His eyes bulges as he saw another vines wrapped itself around his wrists and his chest. He tried to fight back as his hands being pulled into behind his back but failed.

As the last attempt, Hikaru screamed for help. But he screamed only once. Another vine wrapped itself against his head and formed an effective gag. Now, Hikaru was laying on the ground, totally helpless as his legs and his hands were bound tightly and mercilessly by the vines. Not wanting to gave up just yet, Hikaru squirmed away on his stomach like a worm. But his efforts didn’t last long. He felt a sharp jerk and the next thing he know that his back was slammed against the big tree.

{Okay.. this is just freaky… Getting tied up by a plant and….Could this be ?} Hikaru thought. {The thing that kidnapped Touya ?} He shifted his eyes around as that was the only thing he can do at his current position. {Ok, Hikaru, you watched too many hentai pictures…. HEY !!!}. Suddenly Hikaru flinched as he felt something was sneaking on his shoulder and moved into underneath his shirt.

Another vine just sneaked into the boy’s shirt. It wrapped itself around Hikaru’s chest and suddenly expands, shredding Hikaru’s clothing away with a squeak from the shirt owner. Then the vine coiled itself into underneath of the helpless boy’srts.rts. Again, it coiled around Hikaru’s lower area and thighs before expanding itself and shreds the boy’s shorts away.

So there was Hikaru, naked, bound and gagged against a big tree by some vines.

{SOMEONE HELP ME !!! I’M BEING MOLESTED BY… a plant ?} Hikaru thought miserably. He squirmed around and tries to pulls his wrists free from the tangling vines. As he pulled harder, the vines also coiled itself tighter until the point where Hikaru felt that his wrists were being crushed. Eventually, he stopped struggling and the vines loosened their coil slightly.

{Mitani… I should have listened to you….} Hikaru thought. He got no chance to escape at all. He looked down at his bound and naked body and sighed. {I guess I’m stuck like this until someone found me…} He closed his eyes and tried to relax. Someone would found him., even though it would be very embarrassing.

Suddenly Hikaru’s eyes shot open as something warm enveloped his member. He quickly looked down and noticed that a sticky looking instrument originating from the tree had enveloped his member. Suddenly, the tree cracked open and the bound boy’s figure slipped into the inside. Neatly, the tree sealed itself, leaving pieces of Hikaru’s clothing and things the boy got with him on the ground.

Suddenly Hikaru jolted his eyes wide open and looked down on his body. It was still bound tightly. However, he could feel something was against his back. He moved his fingers around blindly.

“H..huh ?... W.. who is it ?” A voice burst out.

“T.. Touya ?” Hikaru’s eyes went even wider.

“S..Shindou ?”.

“Yes, Touya, it’s me, Hikaru !!” Hikaru screamed and gropes around with his finger blindlhe fhe fingers immediately welcomed by another sets of fingers. They were Touya Akira’s fingers.

“Kami-sama… Shindou… I’m scared…” Touya whimpered.

“W.. what happened… Did you get.. raped by a tree ?”.

“Y… Yes…” Touya croaked softly.

“W.. Where is this place ?”

“The tree itself… I think”.

“H.. W.. What are you going to do to us ?” Hikaru asked. He looked his surrounding blindly.

“T.. Touya.. Are we…” Hikaru gulped.

“Yes.. stuck in this tree…. Forever” Touya replied.


The Go world was shocked by the disappearance of both Touya Akira and Hikaru Shindou. Another player named Mitani Yuuki was questioned after as he was the last person seen together with Hikaru Shindou. Mitani Yuuki was later claimed free on any charges The two pro players were assumed missing for years until finally their family made an official statement and assumed that the two were deceased.
